Came in at 6pm on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. I think it is more of a late night eat and drink type of place though. The BBQ skewers are perfectly seasoned and the menu is huge! Lots of pictures too, which is super helpful when ordering. Everything was delicious. I especially liked the eggplant and okra.

Came here for some late night munchies. Overall flavor is not bad it's just over salted. Very thing is too salty and the beef isn't the best quality. Too tough not tender. Service is good, could be that we arrived late night and one of the only tables there. Ended up pricier than expected as portion was also small.

Google
Mingmen BBQ serve solid Chinese BBQ, skewers in hotpot and boiled seafood…etc. There was a great variety of options on their menu and we had a hard time making up our decisions. We got their Mingmen Seafood Combo, Garlic Oysters and Grilled Beef Bone to share with a group of two. The portion was great with a reasonable price and decent quality. The staff is pretty friendly, welcoming and introduced their menu in details. However, our only complaint would be it took us a long time to get our food prepared.

Google
My favorite bbq place in Flushing. They have great variety of food. Every time I’d like to try something new and I’m usually surprised. My favorite dishes are fried oyster, sliced fish, bone marrow, and coconut.

Google
love their BBQ!everything‘s so fresh!great service! Will def recommend friend to come

Google
Super fresh seafood boil and the skewers are not like your typical places (where they cover it with cumin and red pepper). Rather the skewers focus on individual tastes and each one is different. There are even accompanying sauces for everything. Also try a beer tower as a lot of their food goes perfectly with it!

Google
Great flavor and taste! Server was so nice and all the food was delicious. Sad that the prices went up tho :( I suppose it’s more like night food than a full on dinner because a full dinner will cost you quite a bit (we spent 85$ between two people)

Google
Highly recommend this BBQ restaurant! Food is high quality, service is superb and the price is reasonable.

Yelp
I wouldn't waste my time and money coming here ever again. The foods are nothing like the photos, meat is thin, lean, and cold. The service is terrible and yet they force a tip amount of at least 16%. And There was only one staff and the place (ambiance) is basically empty the whole time, but still it takes ages to order and get any kind of service. Cameras in the front and back, everywhere you dine in, with the whole restaurant mostly empty, it feels like being secretly watched by them while can't get them out for services. Didn't care to take any photos. Terrible experience.

Yelp
Came on the whim for skewers. They sell skewers in sets of 3 or 15 sticks of the same type. The beef skewers were good. The mini hot pot trays were really small and expensive for what it was. The food and service were good but I would probably not come back due to the portion size, lack in flexibility to order a variety, and pricing.

Yelp
Came here one time to dine in and two times for take out. Since the first time we came here, their menu has changed a bit, and it's different from the panda app. Flavors of the food hasn't changed. I like all their staple skewer items, for example, all the beef and pork skewers and garlic eggplant. Their seasoning is really unique, meaning that it doesn't tastes cumin and nothing else. It's fragrant. Regular spice works for me, but I prefer medium. On the other hand, their items with soup get really spicy even if it's regular spicy. I told the staff to make sure that the kitchen just adds a little spicy. Malatang and all the tin foil items are good otherwise - it's just toooo spicy. They gave you a lot of food. I really like the noodles in the malatang. Better mifen than some of the mifen places.

Yelp
Definitely come here on an empty stomach as there were so many different skewers we wanted to try but we were already full from eating around earlier! We ordered 3x beef skewer, 3x lamb skewer and 3x beef intestine skewer. I absolutely love Chinese style cumin skewers. They're so flavorful & typically open late which makes them a great late night snack! My favorite was the lamb skewer & my boyfriend's favorite was the beef intestine. The lamb was so tender and juicy & seasoned perfectly. The beef intestine was crunchy on the outside and gushy on the inside. The only thing I would say is that their portions here are a bit smaller than what you would typically get at a skewer cart in the area while being slightly more expensive. I do enjoy being able to sit down and eat though!

Yelp
They really have lots of options for the food! BBQ is good, worthy to try. BBQ bowl is their signature, can share with 2-3 people together

Yelp
My family was wanting someplace quick for dinner before driving home. Found this place on the way. We thought this was going to be a nice smokey barbecue place based on the menu and display pictures. However, the meat is too lean, greasy, and cold. The place was understaffed with poor service (we were the only people there but still waited 30 minutes to get our food). However, if you know nothing about good barbecue and all you want is a bite of meat, this place is tolerable.

Yelp
Delicious chinese skewers that are reasonably priced. There are many varieties of skewers to choose from on the menu. Very clean resturant and friendly staffs, would come back again.

Yelp
No wonder is empty. No vaccine checked. The server does not speak English. We tried to complain but no one understand English. You are buying empty skewer. Please see the picture. Please stay away from this place.

Yelp
2 of us went there yesterday evening. There were no other guests at the time. It turns out the food was higher than my expectation. My mom was happy. However, don't order the 2 pieces lamb leg! It's very small and cost around 11 bucks. It's not that good.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out since it was new. Cute décor, friendly staff, and warm interior. Tons of variety with tons of more eclectic options. We opted for the seafood casserole, pig brain hot pot, eggplant, bone marrow and lots of skewers. We tried the thin lamb, pig intestines, enoki-bacon, and gizzards - the intestines were my fav by far, perfectly cooked. The eggplant was also very tender and delicious. Was not a fan of the bone marrow however - the marrow was less tender than I expected. Cooled things off with a yogurt bulb - which is like a thick drinkable yogurt. Overall, the food was solid and reasonably priced. My only qualm is that the spices used in the food didn't feel all that special. Mainly cumin for the BBQ and lots of spicy oil for the casseroles.

Yelp
This place is a bit inconspicuous as you pass by but once you step in, you will smell the aromatics of the various spices they use for their skewers and hot pot. Each type of skewer has its own flavor and taste which is different from the other skewer places nearby who just use cumin and hot pepper. This place is a must try. They just opened in Nov 2021 and I have been back a couple of times already haha

Yelp
Nice place to get some skewers late night, one dish that really stood out was the pig feet as it was sticky and delicious. The skewers are served on a hot bed of coals to insure they stay warm throughout your meal.

Yelp
Heard about this place through a tiktok video and suggested it for my friends birthday. Came here as a party of 8 but didn't realize we were going to be a much larger group. Thankfully they accommodated and everything went fine. The flavors of every dish we got was on point. I recommend the lamb skewers (the bigger ones), oysters, beef fried rice, bone marrow, crawfish platter and wings. Our server was also very nice. Would def come back!

Yelp
They use hot pot thin slice meat for Chinese BBQ, which is wrong and unauthentic. We also ordered the whole BBQ Japanese squid, nothing like the picture. They chop it up in tiny pieces... Don't waste your money here

Yelp
This place is newly opened and it's really cute. The decor is both modern and adorable with motivational sayings. Def a late night hangout for yummy skewers and hot pot. We ordered a ton of skewers and this is one of the best places that we've tried in Flushing! Highly recommend the chicken heart, gizzards, and small spicy lamb skewers. The skewers are tender, fresh, and def spicy. The only thing I noticed that it was slightly lacking in was the "flame broiled" flavor wasn't as stark as other places, but the meat seemed to be boiled first(?) so it was more tender? Will def be back to check out the hot pot! A lot of tables ordered that and it seemed like a great thing to share with a small party.

Yelp
Too much numb spicy on the meat on the stick. I still think Niu B is better than this place. I wouldn't recommend this place

Yelp
I had a small evening "dinner" here today with my partner. We love skewers and saw this place on Tik Tok and figured why not try it out. We spoke to the waitress and wanted clarity on the skewers: how many pieces come in each order, what she recommended, and what was in the Mala Tang Hotpot. Due to the language barrier, feeling super rushed to order, we decided on NOT having the Mala Tang Hotpot as it contained pork since my partner and I DO NOT eat pork which was clearly communicated to the waitress. Instead we got the lamb skewers, beef skewers, shrimp skewers, rice cakes, and squid leg skewers. We asked for a side of lamb fried rice and when that came out the waitress disclosed to us it had pork in it due to it having a special Chinese sausage. She hesitated to take it back from us even after we said we do not eat pork and saw that we were getting frustrated with her. The sausage was cut into the rice and blatantly obvious it was not lamb. She spoke to the man that was there with her tending to other in the restaurant and he gave her the okay to get us fried rice with no pork mixed in. While we were eating the skewers, all of a sudden the waitress was rushing us to eat and clear the table. We didn't understand why until she brought out the Mala Tang Hotpot and said "you ordered this" after we EXPLICITLY said we don't want that as it has pork earlier. The waitress forcibly made us have the pot placed on our table and told us whether or not we ate it we would be charged for the $55.99 fee for the hotpot. My partner and I were upset and expressed to her that we said we didn't want the Mala Tang Hotpot and she later acknowledged she put in the order anyway on the iPad and she was sorry. This was truly the shittiest experience at this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend to others because the waitress forced us to pay for something we clearly said we didn't want and she acknowledged that she put in the order anyway.

Yelp
A bit disappointed. Food is not good as before, bbq is cold and salty. The price also went up, two people $70+ , not worth it.

Yelp
Love love this place. Went there yesterday at 7pm. Food was delicious and service was good too! Ordered a bunch of food and wanted to share. Definitely try raw beef!!! Would definitely come back for it.

Yelp
would you ever try intestine, gizzard, or heart on a stick? then you need to try out Chinese skewers. don't worry, if that's a little too adventurous for you, there are more tame options like beef and lamb. This is one of china's most popular street foods and is typically seasoned with pepper, cumin seeds, and salt. I love the variety here as there are so many options!

Yelp
The services is very great with tasty food! I'd like to recommend to my friends and come again!
