Good authentic Chinese food. Prices were good for the area. The area in general is pricey as it is a tourist area. The dishes came out quickly and tasted very good.

This place is a disaster, the shrimp are uncleaned, the dumplings were both cold and burnt, and the food was tasteless. Avoid this nightmare at all costs.

This place is a tourist trap we had to send back two dishes the came to our table cold! The portions are overpriced and small. The food quality and taste were just low end. I have had much better meals in real dives. They did nothing to the bill or offer us a drink. I was very disappointed with this restaurant, Don't waste your time or money here!

Horrible experience : we came with my 3 and 5 years old and 3 adults. Soups were good, service OK. Peking duck was dry as cardboard. My son wanted to add cucumber to his plain tuna roll, they charged extra $2 for that! Had the audacity to add 18% service because we were five to fine, although my 3 year old didn't eat... They kept saying 'it's not us, it's the computer' after arguing they took it off.... Go elsewhere, we will not return.

Mings is great. I'm a restaurant worker- we all love this place. Don't get thrown off by the idiots on here that love to complain about everything. This place is open until 5 am- of course they treat people according to their behavior. If I had to serve people this wasted all the time I would absolutely catch an assault charge. Act like an ass and you'll be treated like one. Don't like that policy? Eat somewhere else where us regulars won't have to hear or see you. The place is busy most of the time, they won't miss you. Works out better for everyone.

First of all we waited an hour to be seated after basically pressing them for seating then once we finally got a chance to order our food and my food came it was cold he took it to the back and dump it on another plate and reheat it and served it to me the General Tso's chicken was horrible the crab rangoons was horrible customer service horrible it was completely a terrible experience and I will never return to this establishment again avoid this establishment. My first and LAST time. I see why it's packed late night after clubs people drunk and don't taste that bs. They are not racist, more than half the customers are black.

Horrible service. Racist! Do not spend your money here. They racially profiled customers and ask them to pay for services and food before they received either. While other customers that were asked if they had to do the same stated they paid after their meals. If it is your “policy” it should apply to all, not who you want it to apply to! Of course reviews will say they are not. How do you justify multiple people complaining about being talked down to, given bad service, and treated unjustly? You can’t. If you say it’s the severs then how about hiring a more diverse staff that can relate and communicate better with everyone! It’s time to invest in people who actually WANT YOU in their establishment! Don’t keep the lights on in a place that doesn’t value your service! Ridiculous!

This award winning 5 star dining restaurant is Not Racist! I was saddened to see these acquisitions on Fox 5 News tonight and I can speak with confidence and encourage you to visit Ming’s Restaurant the next time you are in Chinatown. I use to live in DC just a few blocks away and when they first opened myself and sometimes friends would visit here often. There was a period I would go here two or three times a week and be the only customer and the owner we called “mommy” treated me so well. Every time I go to DC and am in the mood for Chinese this is the only place I will go. Over the years I have told so many people to dine here and will continue to share my wonderful experiences. I’m sorry that the group on Fox5 had a bad experience, however ; they are not racist. Sounds like they had a bad server whose position may need to be re-evaluated. I will always Love Ming’s Restaurant in DC Ming's Restaurant 4 · Cantonese Restaurant 617 H St NW Washington, District of Columbia 20001 Send Message
