Minnesota Dock and Lift

My wife and I have been using Minnesota Dock and Lift ( Bricks Boatworks ) since we moved to Crystal Lake in Burnsville in 2016. Travis, John and the whole crew really do a great job. They are very helpful if you have questions and work extremely hard to provide the best customer service possible. We have recommended them to people on the lake, including our neighbors who also use them.

I had no idea who to contact to install a dock. It's not something people do everyday! I was fortunate enough to contact John at Bricks Boatworks (MN Dock & Lift Division). John gave me a very fair quote and was clearly knowledgeable about installation. He even knew the lake and had installed other docks on the lake. The installation went quickly and the people doing the work knew what was needed and the best location for the dock. It looks great and we're very happy!

My wife and I moved into our forever home in January of 2022 and the property was in dire need of a new dock. I reached out to Minnesota Dock & Lift/Bricks Boatworks in April to obtain quotes. John Brick immediately responded to my online inquiry. John listened to what we wanted and recommended a product line specific to our needs, answered and discussed all our questions, and even answered my call on a Saturday morning when I had more questions and didn’t feel like emailing. John was transparent during the entire process and delivered on all written and verbal commitments he made. The one thing John said that I will never forget was when I asked him about payment terms, he said 50% down but what stood out was what he said about the final payment: “Final payment once you are completely happy” Never heard that before. The install team matched the experience we had thus far. They did exactly what we asked for and were extremely courteous and polite but I will never forget seeing them make sure all of the details were perfect at the end of the install which was around 6pm. We don’t live on the nicest lake or have the nicest house in Minnesota but their entire team made us feel like we did.

Bricks guys do a great job and communicate well about when they will be there to put in or remove my lift every year. I'd highly recommend John and the guys anytime.

We had our dock, lift and Jet Ski ports installed as well as some needed maintenance on our boat lift 2 days ago. The Bricks web site scheduling system is user friendly, and allows a customer to schedule the best time for you. Connor and his team have been to our home several times over the years. They know what to do and listen to direction of how we want our gear set up. I never feel pressure from the crew to "get to the next appointment" although I know they are under pressure to get everything done. My only regret is that I have to see them in the fall for pull out of the gear! It's called winter! Even then, they put our apparatus in the places that we want to allow for an enjoyable winter season! We are customers for 5 years now and have no plans to change. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

Minnesota Dock removed our old dock and installed a new one. John did a great job communicating with us and making sure everything was done right. This company has high integrity.
