Google
Brian did an awesome job. I actually wasn’t planning to sit down on the bar because my boarding to my flight to Europe was up in 30 minutes but his positivity and energy convinced me to have one beer. Result was 2 beer and 2 drinks he is a great sales Person. Regards to MN 5/5 Stars because of the great Bartender.

Google
Why not just install vending machines? Would be more helpful. Server was very polite and accommodating, but what you save in labor, you hemorrhage in sales.

Peter S.

Google
Rude bartender chasing people away from an empty bar. You are at an airport across a major gate with limited seating, so unless all seats are taken, give people a break.

Geoff P.

Yelp
Typical airport food prices, but the food is significantly better than typical. My better half and I often stop here for breakfast and a Mamosa before a long flight. We recently discovered they are now not open for breakfast, which is a bit disappointing, but we will be back when they are open for lunch without question.

Genesis A.

Yelp
Awesome concept, you can sit recharge all your devices. There's iPads on the tables which allows you to play games, order food and monitor you flight. I enjoyed the convenience of not having to stand in lines to order food. You order from your table/station and they deliver your food too you. (Very trendy and I wish all airports had these functions.) The waitress was very friendly and checked on me a few times. My coffee was delivered immediately and my food followed about 5 min after. The older generation usually are intimidated by all electronics (atleast my mom is). The bartender/server helped a handful of older patrons with the iPad and explained to them how to use them.

Inna L.

Yelp
Worst place ever. If you want to wait 30 min for your food ( which seems logical when your in an airport trying to catch a flight). God forbid you wait to talk to a person before they take 10 min to acknowledge you and point you to an ipad. Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't have someone else's order on it because then you need to just wait for another one to free up.

Dane R.

Yelp
Great service. Decent food selection located in the Delta corridor of G-Gates inside the airport. This eatery has tablets for your enjoyment and purchasing ease. I ordered the pancakes (added blueberries inside the pancakes) Also ordered a coffee. Both good.

Vilay S.

Yelp
Nope. Not even on the inflated airport food scale. I trekked to the end of the concourse because I wanted to see what cool thing Andrew Zimmern put his stamp on but I didn't see the menu or read previous yelp reviews. On the way there. I bypasses a burger place because I didn't like their choice of Krinkle fries. You'll see why that's relevant in a minute. By the time I got there, I was running out of time I felt I had to stick with it but now I think I should have done pizza by the slice nearby. The menu was so disappointing. It's just paninis. The smoked fish & egg sandwich was the only thing out of the ordinary. I got a burger, and was happy to see that you could get it without a bun but it was just a cheap burger and not even a good one. It had the texture of frozen Costco patties with filler. It came with an absurdly small number of fries: And the fries were not even the same fries pictured on the menu. They were krinkle fries!!! NOOOoooo not krinkle fries!

Yelp
I like what they have done with the Minneapolis airport. iPads to use. Seats and tables. Order from the iPad. Pay with the card reader at your seat. The food is delivered to your table. Unfortunately my card reader wasn't working. Had to use the send help option. Which took....a while. And then...surprise! My card reader was linked to the iPad across from me and theirs was hooked up to mine. Which they did nothing to fix. So....have fun running out to help people anytime they want an order and can't pay....instead of just getting someone to *fix the problem. Food was fine. Standard breakfast fare.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite bar to get a Bloody Mary! The experience is ALWAYS the best when Sunny and Brett are on shift!!! I've had bloody Mary's at every bar in MSP and Minibar has the best one hands down.

Allister D.

Yelp
I think when having a stop here at the MSP, everyone should hit the Minnibar for a quick drink. I love the fact that you can control everything the way you want through an iPad. The menu is broken into categories of alcohol then contains customized selections for your drink. After you can either pay for it or open up a tab. Then the bartender goes to work and BOOM! your drink is in front of you. I suggest getting the cocktail that contains the Kalua and almond syrup on the rocks (Forgot the name sorry!) Anyway, go grab one while waiting for your next flight!

Jennie M.

Yelp
See my photos for a visual. This place is great. Middle of G Concourse. I pad ordering and helpful friendly staff make eating and drinking enjoyablem Local beer on tap, fantastic bloody marys, full bar and breakfast as well.

Shawn S.

Yelp
It's pricey, they only take credit cards, but you order by iPad, which can take longer than grabbing the bartender's attention. What I didn't like is you can't hear gate announcements over the rather loud music they play. And while the iPad ordering is cool, you aren't as clear when your order is coming due to lack of interaction with the bartender

Alissa A.

Yelp
Excuse me while i choke on my manhattan. (iPad) Menu offers a rye manhattan then asks you to select your whiskey from a listing of bourbon, Tennessee whiskey, and Irish whiskey. Ask blondie if they have rye and she asks what that is. Sorry, you work at a bar, granted it's a shiny looking airport bar, but you don't know what rye is?!? After spotting a single rye behind the bar, ask for it, blondie proceeds to shake !?! the drink. It's godawful and the blindingly bright red cherry at the bottom isn't helping.

William T.

Yelp
This waste of space takes up areas where customers waiting to get in planes should be able to wait. Furthermore, there's an awful soundtrack playing impeding listening to gate announcements - in a spot which is really just gate seating. This is an awful idea and I hope Minneapolis voters get rid of any politicians who had a hand in assisting in this ridiculousness.

Clint M.

Yelp
Food and services was good. However, I came during shift change as one male bartender was doing turn over to two female bartenders. His language towards them was insulting, sexist and demeaning. (I'm male, not that it should matter). I left negative feedback and requested that someone at OTG Management contact me... Which never happened. To the women working there - I'm sorry some guys are losers. To Joe: You're a loser and your mustache looks stupid.

Angela T.

Yelp
I landed early (#yayDelta) and had some Time to kill til my sister picked me up, so stopped conveniently right outside my gate for a martini here Brett was fantastic! This is a iPad order only bar...but he put my order in so i didn't have to struggle, and my martini was delicious. I saw a few other patrons come and go and he helped each one with the ordering (which is super easy but when the bar is slow no one wants to mess with an iPad...) Love that there's a nice place to grab a classy drink all the way down the G concourse

Joanna R.

Yelp
The drinks were good, but my server decided to give herself an 18% tip on two $11 drinks, without even giving me the opportunity to write in a tip myself and sign the check. Because I thought I hadn't tipped, I grabbed a few bucks cash to tip her and ran back. Little did I know, my credit card statement would show a $28.17 charge for what should have been just $22 + tax. She gave herself a $4.50 tip without my knowledge or consent! Sorry, this is totally unethical. That bartender got a $6.50 tip on TWO DRINKS and I never even saw a receipt. I wish I knew her name - I'm sure this is not happening to just me...

Kristina Z.

Yelp
DON'T use this bar unless you are prepared to call your card provider and let them know you're in Philadelphia. There system sends their costumer info to Philadelphia so it's quite common to be have your card blocked after paying here. They even said, "We get this error a lot." How obnoxious to have to call your card provider afterwards to clear this all up?! Man, this is an annoyance that I wish didn't happen right before I board my plane having to come home and pay for parking at the airport. This was beyond irritating and I wish someone told us this would most likely happen before it happened.

Salvatore V.

Yelp
It smells like a cum rag and the bartender and guy next to me said the same thing. Fucking $16 draft beers? Fuck you. Vegas ain't that much.

Bethany O.

Yelp
No better place to enjoy a nice cold beer while waiting to board your flight! I absolutely love the iPad ordering system. My companion wanted a coffee and I was able to select from regular milk to half and half and even syrups! I ordered a PBR and enjoyed it while I played the slots app on the iPad. The bartender was very helpful with anyone who didn't know how to use the ordering system and checked in on us regularly.

Russell S.

Yelp
Good food and fast. The iPad setup is nice and easy to use. Order your food and it's out within 15 minutes. The food was good. Not amazing but good for airport food. A little pricey but what isn't at the airport. I'd go here again.

Marilyn T.

Yelp
They have a full bar, and you order off iPads and can use their iPads while you eat/drink there. It looks very sleek and not like your usual airport bar. Cocktails are $13 - not cheap for Minnesota, but an extra bonus is that you can get cocktails to go !

Kevin C.

Yelp
Cool setup with ordering through iPads, staff are friendly and will help you out. Got a breakfast sandwich, looked good and tasted great.

Gerry S.

Yelp
You start by ordering on an iPad - Done. Need I say more. As if modeled to compliment Apple products, the design of the bar is very modern and clean. The food is better than expected and the wait staff also exceeded expectations. TIP: If you're paying with an airline voucher, you can't order through the iPad. Call your waiter/waitress.

Daniella O.

Yelp
I waited 25 minutes at a dirty, sticky countertop for a grilled cheese that never came. Tried using the iPad to try and call the server twice and she never came back after giving my drink to me. My flight started to board and I had to get on the plane, so I was out the $11 for my sandwich as no one ever showed up.

Denise D.

Yelp
Pricey, but it is expected because it is in an airport. The eating area was not clean. I assume the establishment cannot keep up with the crowd during high-volume traffic. Slow service.

Diana A.

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I work in customer service myself, and I understand sometimes people might come off as rude serving when they're having a bad day, but the service we got at this bar was the worst. We had a 4 hour layover in Minneapolis and were very tired/stressed from traveling, my friend and boyfriend wanted a beer to relax till our flight boarded. We got to minnibar and my boyfriend was flat out denied service because his shirt said "fuck racism" on it. The guy working the bar could've said he would prefer not to serve us because of the language or whatever, even though there were no children at the airport and it was super late at this bar. But instead he goes up to my boyfriend and says "I don't like your shirt" "I'm not gonna serve you, take it somewhere else" and he was not nice about it at all. My boyfriend was pretty shocked, he's never been kicked out of an establishment for wearing that shirt, even at family restaurants. When my boyfriend protested a bit saying that he was tired and just wanted a drink, and if they could all be adults about this, the bartender kept repeating for him to take his shirt somewhere else and saying "it's my bar" I was pretty astounded that I had spent over 1,000 dollars on plane tickets only to be treated like shit by a bartender in the airport. I hope this guys manager knows how he's treating his patrons, I would've been fired in 2 seconds if I pulled something like that at my job.

Hashani S.

Yelp
Props to Mr. Whiskers for being such an awesome bartender! We found the minnibar minutes before it closed but were hooked up with doubles right before jumping onto our Delta flight. The bartender made it very quick and painless, the iPad system is pretty suave. We will definitely be back for more if we stop by again.

Magnus C.

Yelp
How can I give this place less than 5 stars considering they serve Surly on tap? I'd have to be a heartless brute. They'd have to give me Ebola along with my drink. Magically transform me into a Republican! Or play Phil Collins on the radio. So far they haven't given me Ebola, turned me into a hateful prick or assault the senses with Phil Collins. Instead, they've given me Big Mama Thornton, T-Rex, Van Morrison, John Lee Hooker and the Surly is cold and crisp, so five stars it is.

Ben B.

Yelp
Brett and Sunny are both so much fun, and genuine good people. Loved that our whole conversation started over a card trick Brett did and continued to spiral into a wonderful conversation with the both of them. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back to chat with them both again.

Laurel J.

Yelp
This is where I usually grab breakfast in the MSP airport when I'm on work travel. Food is pricey, as you'd expect, but the quality is decent (and much better than the other fast food options). It's in terminal G which is a bit out of the way for other terminals if you don't have much time, but is convenient if you're in Terminals F or G. I get the bagel, potatoes and bacon.

Jamie H.

Yelp
Even though I was just killing time, it was decent food. Only had the fries and couple of drinks. However I will say, just watch your tab. As I was asking questions on how to use the tablet, the server did decide to put her own idea oh how I should tip. And it's not that I'm frugal, I use to be a server. But I also feel like I should decide if someone deserves 18% or not, specially without asking me. So that is the main reason I'm putting only one star.

Melinda S.

Yelp
Just finished up eating here...I would say a lot of positive things about the service, the decor, the ambiance, and the beer selection. But when it came down to it, I ordered the Bulgogi 'signature sandwich' and left feeling disappointed. Too, too salty. Maybe other items are better, but that left a bad taste in my mouth, literally (har har har). Nothing but nice things to say about the sever, Sarah, who is a sweetie, but I think next time I come, I will order something different. I'll update my review if I'm ever back in this airport and come back.

Fouad M.

Yelp
Stopped by this bar to grab a snack before catch connecting flight to San Diego. Lady at the bar was super friendly. Ordered a drink and a pastrami panini which was delicious and was fulfilled in a very speedy manner.

Dave Y.

Yelp
I travel to Minneapolis for work and always pass by the Pod5 Minnibar bar for a couple of pre-flight drinks when heading home. Brett and Sunny are always hard at work making everyone's time as enjoyable as it can be waiting in an airport. They provide excellent service and always helping patrons who are having trouble ordering through the I-pads. I Highly recommend this bar when traveling through MSP. Get the spicy Bloody Mary! It's excellent!!

Vishal S.

Yelp
Great spot for a pre or post flight drink. The bartenders are ok, not good at making cocktails only their signature drinks. Easily drop $30 on (2) drinks.

Andrea D.

Yelp
I was so excited to find that Andrew Zimmern had a restaurant at our layover airport! I too ordered the Bulgogi 'signature sandwich' and was also left feeling disappointed as Melinda S. did. It was way too salty! I walked away with the thought in my head, "I could have made this sandwich... and it would have been way better!" A bit pricey as well for a salty sandwich... ($12). Really wanted to like it... but didn't. :(

Gil S.

Yelp
Avoid Minnbar at the Minneapolis Saint Paul Airport. The place is a rip off. Terrible, over-priced food and drinks. Our French onion soup was a few soggy croutons in a tasteless brown gravy with shredded cheese on top. Yetch. $25 for 2 5 oz. glasses of wine. When I complained, the waitress said that's the way it is with airport bars. This place was bad - even for an airport bar. I would never go there again.

Nicole R.

Yelp
Worst lunch ever. Would have had a better experience at McDonalds, very disappointing. Sandwiches were dry and boring, hardly edible.

Rich C.

Yelp
I guess as far as airport food goes, it's not terrible. I had a chicken, avocado, mozzarella Panini sandwich and it was ok. The kettle chips were crispy and well cooked which was a bonus. Service was good and quick and it was interesting being able to interactively order from an iPad and have them deliver it to table and email me a receipt. I think the prices are too high and they automatically included gratuity in the bill. Not a bad way to spend your layover at MSP.

Keith M.

Yelp
Brutal. Oh, and one star to Yelp for being a bunch of a-holes and not letting me post a one word review. This was supposed to just say "brutal."

Justin T.

Yelp
No cash accepted. Dumb iPad ordering system. Dumber bartenders who only know how to deal with orders spit out by the iPads. Bad ambiance with people playing loud video games on the iPads. There are better options.

Cherine F.

Yelp
Minnibar was conveniently located right in front of the gate I needed to be at. I approached cautiously since I am less than unfamiliar with airport bars. With over available barstool, I decided to give Minnibar a try. Given that it was little past 8am, I was looking for a Bloody Mary and Minnibar offered two choices, one for $8.50 and another for around $14 - the latter prepared with infused vodka and a special mix. I opted for the former, placed my order using the iPad. I chose my preferred vodka, spice level and garnish but struggled with knowing when to swipe my card. The bartender came to me right away and offered assistance and not long after I was presented with a beautiful cocktail! My Bloody Mary was perfectly spicy with a pickle, a pepperoncini, a pickled radish and a generous piece of each, pepper jack cheese and summer sausage. The delicious drink, convenience of this location and options for entertainment on the iPad easily earn a high rating!
