A True Gem – Refined, Artistic, and Incredibly Welcoming We had the pleasure of staying 10 nights at the Minos Beach Art Hotel with my wife and our 7-month-old daughter, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had in a luxury hotel. From the very first moment, we were struck by the beauty of the surroundings. The hotel is more than just a place to stay – it’s a true piece of art. The architecture blends perfectly with the lush vegetation and the centuries-old trees, creating a feeling of harmony and timeless elegance. The food was simply exceptional – without a doubt the best culinary experience we’ve ever had in a 5-star hotel. Every dish was a perfect balance of flavor, creativity, and freshness. We genuinely looked forward to every meal. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive. Whether at the restaurant, the reception, or housekeeping, every team member made us feel welcome and genuinely cared for, especially considering we were traveling with our baby. Our bungalow was spacious, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated, offering both comfort and style. For our last two nights, we were fortunate to experience one of the villas with a private pool – an unforgettable highlight that added even more magic to our stay. Minos Beach Art Hotel is a rare place where art, nature, luxury, and hospitality come together seamlessly. We left with full hearts, rested minds, and the deep desire to return as soon as we can.

The location is absolutely stunning – right by the sea with crystal-clear water and a peaceful, relaxing vibe throughout the entire property.||Our bungalow was beautifully designed, very clean, and offered lots of privacy. We especially loved being so close to the water – perfect for lounging, reading, or just enjoying the view.||The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fresh and delicious options, and the sea view made it even better. The staff was always friendly, professional, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable.||One of the things that makes this place really special is the art throughout the hotel. Sculptures and installations are integrated into the landscape in such a thoughtful way – it’s like staying in an open-air gallery.||We had a fantastic time and would absolutely come back. The rooms were beyond my expectations. They were neat, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed that I could change the temperature inside the room. The only problem was that there were several ants on my bed and I would find multiple on my pillows and sheets. The service was fast and efficient. The location was walking distance to town which was helpful. Overall I enjoyed this hotel very much, I liked the dining and the art.

A Truly Refined Culinary Experience — Without a Trace of Exaggeration I don’t say this lightly — and I’m not exaggerating, even a little — Terpsis is one of the most thoughtfully curated restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing, located inside Minos Beach Hotel. Everything, from the setting to the service and especially the food, speaks of balance, intention, and authenticity. The dishes are light yet full of flavor — elegant without being pretentious — and what truly impressed me was how I felt after the meal. You can really tell the food is well cooked and clean when you go to bed after dining and feel refreshed, not heavy, almost like your body thanks you for it. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, with a clear emphasis on fresh, local products from Crete. Every bite reflects the purity and richness of the island’s produce — simple yet deeply satisfying. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, striking the perfect balance between warm hospitality and discreet service. The atmosphere, too, is calm and inviting, allowing you to be fully present in the experience. And of course, the location alone is reason enough to visit: set right along the sea coastline, the view is simply breathtaking. Especially during sunset, it’s pure magic. Terpsis doesn’t try too hard — it doesn’t have to. It simply delivers honest, elevated food that leaves you satisfied in every way. A truly memorable experience I would return to again and again and recommend wholeheartedly.

Beautiful and unique hotel. Quiet atmosphere with the feeling of mindfulness. Lovely and attentive staff with a special touch. Very good service in every way. Good location with a short walk to the town which has nice restaurants. Our dream vacation.

Recently stayed. It is definitely a 5 star location. 5 star resort but it is lacking in service. All the staff were so friendly and were doing their absolute best, but there were not enough of them. Waiting 30 minutes for a drink is outrageous. The wifi is terrible. It is a shame because I would love to go back there but I after this experience, I don’t think I will. I have to say though, the rooms were spotless everyday! Not only did the clean the rooms, they tidied up as well.
