Came with my brother and had an awesome lunch. We stumbled upon the place on yelp and the food looked great so we decided to come down to try it, and were very satisfied. The menu is Northern Chinese (I think? Someone correct me if I'm wrong) so a bit different from your typical Chinese restaurant; they have a lot of noodle soups with a variety of braised meats, other braised cold cut meats as appetizers/sides, meat-filled bao buns, and other interesting dishes.
We went all out and got their spicy noodle soup with braised beef, a beef bao, their braised pork Chinese "burger", a choose-3 plate of pork tongue, pork ear, and pork hock, and an order of their spicy braised duck head. The broth in the soup was delicious and just spicy enough with a bit of a tingle from the Szechuan chilis; the beef was braised perfectly until tender. The Chinese pork "burger"/sandwich was ok, a little on the plain side, but the beef bao was one of the best I've ever had. The meat was so juicy and well seasoned, and they really don't skimp on the amount!
The cold cuts were cooked until tender and not chewy at all; the three options were all ok, but the real star was the braised duck head. If you're willing to try it, it's marinated with a delicious savory, sweet, spicy sauce that soaks into the skin and meat. We tried the duck head for the novelty, but it was surprisingly tasty and honestly I would eat anything covered in that amazing sauce.
Sone of their dishes are more interesting and tastier than others, but overall it's a great place to get a good, reasonably priced meal and branch out from your typical Chinatown food.
