At 64 years old, I'm pretty sure that I am not this hidden gem of a coffee shop's main demographic. It looks like the type of place where the customers and staff all know what hashtags, bitcoin, and AI mean. This relaxed and friendly place reminds me of a modern "Central Perk" where the rest of the patrons are enjoying exotic drinks like Lavender Lattes, Chai Teas, and a host of beverages that they probably served at the Mos Eisley Cantina, rather than the diners I grew up in back in New Jersey.
As a customer, I am a perpetually scowling old guy who just wants a cup of regular coffee with room for cream and sugar. And you know what, they don't flinch, smirk, or make me feel like I am wasting their creative drink making skills. They make me feel right at home. The staff here is ridiculously nice and professional, even to the rude person in front of me who held up the line talking on his cell phone when it was his turn to order. In fact, they're so nice I always wind up losing the scowl I walk in with.
The place has a warm artsy vibe to it, and they appear to be much more than just a "coffee shop" with having a wide variety of events like art shows and other things that an anti-social introvert like me tries to avoid but would be enjoyed by a normal person. I rate this place 5 stars of 5, and like it so much that I may actually have to try one of those fancy coffees the next time I visit.
