My workplace recently ordered lunch from this spot for the entire office, and it was absolutely delicious. Some coworkers even went back on their own and described it as a “hole in the wall with very limited space,” but despite that, I was excited to try it with my family.
When we arrived, the place was empty, which I took as a good sign since there were two tables and chairs available — I assumed we could dine in. Unfortunately, that’s when things started to go downhill. The man working didn’t greet us. When he finally acknowledged us, he told us to wait. I figured he might be working alone, so I waited patiently. Eventually, he asked if I was ready to order, and just as I began, he stopped to help two delivery drivers who had just walked in.
When he returned to take my order, he started arguing with another man who was preparing food. I asked a question about one of the dishes, and he responded with clear annoyance and zero interest in helping. After I paid, he walked away without another word.
We sat down thinking we’d eat there, but when he called me over to pick up our order, he handed us a paper bag. I asked if it was okay to eat there, and he bluntly said it was carry-out only. We left, disappointed but still looking forward to enjoying the food at home.
Sadly, that didn’t happen. When we opened the bag, we found pita bread with visible mold. That was the final straw. I paid for food that ended up in the trash.
The food might be good when catered, but the customer service was awful, and serving moldy bread is inexcusable. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place after such an experience.
