The Spots Of The Summer, Miami Edition - Miami - The Infatuation

"It’s vampire season in Miami—that time of year when people draw their curtains and use umbrellas for both the sun and daily torrential downpours. That’s where Mint Beirut comes in. This excellent Lebanese takeout operation will get you through the summer nights when you can’t be anything but an indoor pajama gremlin. They’re on all the major delivery apps, too." - ryan pfeffer, mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

My workplace recently ordered lunch from this spot for the entire office, and it was absolutely delicious. Some coworkers even went back on their own and described it as a “hole in the wall with very limited space,” but despite that, I was excited to try it with my family. When we arrived, the place was empty, which I took as a good sign since there were two tables and chairs available — I assumed we could dine in. Unfortunately, that’s when things started to go downhill. The man working didn’t greet us. When he finally acknowledged us, he told us to wait. I figured he might be working alone, so I waited patiently. Eventually, he asked if I was ready to order, and just as I began, he stopped to help two delivery drivers who had just walked in. When he returned to take my order, he started arguing with another man who was preparing food. I asked a question about one of the dishes, and he responded with clear annoyance and zero interest in helping. After I paid, he walked away without another word. We sat down thinking we’d eat there, but when he called me over to pick up our order, he handed us a paper bag. I asked if it was okay to eat there, and he bluntly said it was carry-out only. We left, disappointed but still looking forward to enjoying the food at home. Sadly, that didn’t happen. When we opened the bag, we found pita bread with visible mold. That was the final straw. I paid for food that ended up in the trash. The food might be good when catered, but the customer service was awful, and serving moldy bread is inexcusable. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place after such an experience.

I ordered the beef shawarma wrap and it was sooo delicious! Customer service was great in this small family owned business. Not much seating, but sufficient if you want to grab a quick healthy bite. Definitely recommend!

YALLLAAAAAAAAA. Yall, this has to be one of my FAVORITE Lebanese restaurants in Miami. Not only is it family run, but it is the CLOSEST Lebanese food you’ll get to actually being in Lebanon or even my grandmothers cooking (don’t tell her I said that). It’s so good that even as takeout it’s still tastes as fresh as they just served it to me in the restaurant. Each time we’ve gone it’s been phenomenal. Can’t recommend this place enough. Arreba tayyib!

Absolutely the Best Lebanese Takeout! Fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite tastes like it’s made with love. The hummus is creamy, the shawarma is perfectly spiced, and the tabbouleh is amazing. The service is fast and they have generous portions. A go to spot for Lebanese comfort food done right! What I really appreciate is the care in the packaging nothing leaks, nothing is soggy, and you can tell the ingredients are top quality. It’s clear the owner puts pride into every order, even if you’re enjoying it from home.

I normally order from them all the time and it’s always fantastic! My mom and I were in the area and decided to dine in, and it was such a wonderful experience. It’s a family-owned business, and you can really feel those values reflected in the atmosphere. The food here is amazing! I’m not a chicken person at all, but I would eat their chicken every day if I could, it’s seriously the only chicken I’ve ever genuinely enjoyed. I could keep raving about how great this place is, but honestly, just go and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed! My mom and I will definitely continue ordering and dining here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mint Beirut, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Middle Eastern cuisine was absolutely amazing, with rich, authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Beirut. Every dish was a culinary delight, crafted with the freshest ingredients and a perfect blend of spices. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful dining experience. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. One of the standout features of Mint Beirut is the convenience of free parking, which made the visit hassle-free and even more enjoyable. While the atmosphere could be improved to match the exceptional food and service, it was still a pleasant and comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Overall, I highly recommend Mint Beirut for anyone craving authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and top-notch service.

Delicious and fresh fattoush salad made with yummy house-made fried pita chips and grilled chicken. The dressing and garlic yogurt on the side was so tasty. Highly recommend! I wish I could order everything—it all looked so good.
