I recently visited Minted Lounge for happy hour and I was impressed. The happy hour menu offers a great selection of tapas and cocktails. Their regular food and cocktails are equally fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp roll accompanied by Zapp's potato chips. The shrimp were large and smothered in a delicious remoulade that seeped into the warm French bread. It was outstanding. I indulged in two cocktails - the Sunrise On St. Clause and The New Classic - and both were amazing. The Minted Lounge boasts one of the best bartenders in the city. I can't wait to return and try other items on their food and cocktail menus. Lounge has one of the best bartenders in the city. We got the French 75, Passion Sidecar and No.2401. They were good but took a bit long to come out. Friend got the chicken skewers with had delicious jerk sauce and was perfectly tender. Then when we ordered another round and this round took 25min. They were busy but not THAT busy. Very Good vibes and good (but not great drinks) but pretty disappointed with how long it took the drinks to come out. We were sitting at the tables, maybe the bar gets faster service.

I found this venue online, and decided to meet up there with friends for an impromptu anniversary celebration. Great food, wonderful service, excellent ambience. I definitely recommend this place for an intimate gathering, after hours meeting spot, or first date. Beautiful scenery, beautiful outdoor balcony, with tables and a wonderful view. I highly recommend this location. Awesome job.

My sister-in-law found this spot and thought it would be a cool, vibing spot to end our last night in New Orleans. The environment and ambiance was great. Nice spot for an intimate night out. However, the service isn't the best. For a party of 5 who ordered drinks (one a soft drink) at 30 minutes we were still waiting for drinks. We ended up deciding to leave and wouldn't visit this spot again should we return to New Orleans.

I came to New Orleans for a girls trip. We were looking for a nice lounge or bar and stumbled upon Minted! So glad I came. The service was wonderful, drinks were good, atmosphere was wonderful. So glad we had this experience if I come back to New Orleans I will visit again!❤️❤️❤️

Minted Lounge is an excellent new spot in the Bywater for sophisticated cocktails, a great vibe, and a unique view of St. Claude Avenue from the second floor balcony. The service was excellent, the food was unique and flavorful, and the drinks were amazing! The vibe created by the classy and understated decor, the great music, and the well dressed staff set the tone for a great evening out. The crowd was diverse, friendly, and very chill. I can't wait to go back again!

Atmosphere and service were good. Food menu was very limited. At Exactly 1 1/2 hrs we were told that we had to leave the table due to the next reservation. We had just ordered another round of drinks when forced to move. Went to the bar to finish the drinks and was again asked to move. Won't be back.

Minted is one of my favorite cocktail lounges in New Orleans. The service, atmosphere, and crafted cocktails are top tier! The decor, music and vibe is elite! It definitely gives “ get cute” for Date night or a night out with the ladies

This lounge gives all the sexy speakeasy vibes. The entrance is somewhat obscure so you have to be paying close attention. Once you get upstairs it's a beautifully decorated parlor with access to a large balcony overlooking Saint Claude. I had a mocktail recommended and mixed by the owner. It was called the "fancy lemonade". It was indeed fancy and very refreshing. I'd definitely come here again for a cute date night spot or girls night out.

I was disappointed during the Superbowl watch party. I thought during phone calls to Zuri that a reservation was not needed to only find out that tables had already been sold. Had I been told that to begin with I had other options to purchase a planned paid reservation. I was seated at the bar and I didn't want to be, but it was much too late to find other accommodations. Again I was disappointed because my client could have very well paid for planned seating. Great food, service and drinks. The ambiance and atmosphere and aesthetics of the place is wonderful and as a destination wedding coordinator I have even referred clients to this establishment. However, I will continue to recommend Minted Lounge without reservation. I am sorry my actual first visit was not the best.

Beautiful, hidden gem in St. Roch neighborhood! I came here for a friend birthday party and we had a nice booth in the corner. They have a great happy hour where the drinks are reasonably price. The appetizers are very good. The chips and guac are my favorite. The tacos are also really good. You must order a drink flight that comes in these cute, heart-shaped glasses. Perfect for photo op ladies! they also have desserts if you are getting that urge for something sweet. They also have a balcony, so if it's very warm outside or cold, you can escape to the balcony. PS, the bathroom is very clean!

I visited Minted Lounge last night with friends, and it was the perfect duck-off! The cozy, dimly lit space had those classic speakeasy vibes that made us feel warm and relaxed. We went all in with several orders of salmon sliders, deviled eggs, and chicken skewers, all super tasty, plus a bottle of house champagne for just $50. The service was excellent--super friendly and attentive. The R&B music --both classic and new school--set the perfect mood. If you're looking for a chill spot with tasty bites and drinks, Minted Lounge is a must-visit!

A group of us went to Minted on Thursday for happy hour and ended up staying until closing. There weren't many people, but the vibe was still on point. The aesthetic was grown and sexy: moody lighting and fireplaces on the tv screen. The bathroom was clean. I loved the sleek black and gold sink. The throwback 90s and 00s music was my favorite part of the experience! Diamond, our server, was incredible. She was attentive and laid out the details of the menu. I had the happy hour portion of the deviled eggs ( 2 eggs for $4). My friend had the guacamole and said it was great. They were so cute, but could have used a pinch more salt. The drinks were nice, everyone was pleased and shouted out the bartender. Great place if you like creative cocktails. I'm excited to check out their burlesque night!

I do not recommend this place unless you have a reservation outside of a holiday or busy night in the city. We had a reservation for Valentine's Day and we even showed up 20-15 mins early. They sat us outside despite there being a dozen open tables available inside. The wind gusts were up and there was a light drizzle. There was no option for an inside table through reservations and then they said "I know the weather's bad but we'll let you know when a table opens up inside"... mind you we walked past a few. After 10 mins of no service, we asked for a table inside to which one magically opened up... there was no one there when we were seated to begin with. The service, if any, took FOREVER! The food and drinks were decent but the service ruined the night. We had to ask for the check after sitting there for 25 mins of being done. They kept complaining about things going wrong like the internet going out so no music and then a burlesque show was cancelled, didn't even know they had that (apparently they didn't either cause it was poorly planned) Will not be going back.

Food was really good!!! Ambiance amazing!! The service didn't match the vibe and food. We walked in and was greeted then seated our waiter came over took our order for drinks first, she came back after a while took our order for food that we put in all together our salmon sliders came out first "very amazing" I will say.While waiting on the rest of our order we were ask if we can move to the patio because there was an 90min for the table and another reservation had arrived "we had already ordered more drinks" we explained that to the host, waiter "the man of many hats". We had to ask about our drinks and the rest of our food order. The food was the best part of my experience.

I really had high hopes for this establishment. The ambiance was amazing: decor and overall feel. We initially ordered drinks, salmon sliders, the shrimp roll and the rice but were told shortly after ordering that the rice was no longer available, so we got the cran Rangoon dip. Our waitress was pleasant but seemed to be a little overwhelmed. We watched everyone around us order drinks after us and get their drinks long before us. The only thing she followed up with was filling our water glasses. When we finally got them, they were amazing: we had the Sunrise, the Don and the Girls Night Out. The salmon sliders came out and were amazing. We finished, ordered another round of drinks while we waited on the rest of our food and was then approached by the host. He asked how our sliders were and then proceeded to ask if we would be willing to sit on the balcony because the next reservation was there and they had a 90 minute seating limit: we hadn't even been there an hour and hadn't even received all of our food or our second round of drinks. The table next to us had been there long before us as well as the one closest to the balcony, yet we were asked to move and they were never approached. We declined and explained we had not received all of our food, contrary to us only having water glasses on the table. He did apologize but the damage had been done. Next came the dip: it was delicious, but the serving left a lot to be desired. Three scoops, and it was gone. 30 minutes later, no exaggeration, the shrimp roll came out and was absolutely delicious. Our appetites could have been satisfied had everything come out together or close to it, unfortunately, we had time to digest between each item. The potential is there to be pretty amazing. The menu is simple but full of good things but more attention to the patron's experience is vital to success. We paid a pretty penny and ended the evening at Rally's.

Food was really good salmon sliders shrimp roll "6inch poboy" old fashioned was one of the best I ever had! Ambiance esthetics are on point. Now this place will fail because of service. Everybody wants to be the elite waitress and memorize your order. We ordered everything at 1 onetime. EVERYTHING was forgotten except the salmon sliders its a party of 3! It took over an hour to get drinks and the sliders not because the kitchen was swarmed because of the waitress. Then after we ate our slider ordered more drinks the receptionist guy/waiter/bartender comes ask us to move outside or the bar because there's a reservation coming in. Mind you we also had a reservation and STILL haven't gotten all our food or drinks. Just sitting there looking stupid. 4 tables next to us was never asked to move. Then some bs apology. This is why so many black owned businesses fail. Also have already took 3 items off the menu they gave to us! Chef better find a new location soon
