The 38 Best Restaurants in Tel Aviv | Eater

"HaMinzar (the Monastery) has been a local institution and beloved hangout since it opened in 1992. It has everything going for it: a prime location next to the Carmel Market, cheap booze, Israeli music, nostalgic kibbutz pub vibes, and a 24-hour operating schedule. The look says dive bar, but the food — made from scratch using local ingredients — speaks to something more elevated in the kitchen. For dessert, stop next door to the Malabia for malabi, a custardy rose-water dessert topped with chopped peanuts and a sweet syrup. [$$]" - Keren Brown

A Tel Aviv institution. Laid back bar with an excellent menu that changes constantly. This is not the place for refined dining, but the food is very good and on par with a casual restaurant. You can definitely go there for a meal. And they are open every day of the week.

My favorite spot in Tel Aviv. Good food, reasonably priced. Good service. I prefer the bar to the tables, personally.

Tel Aviv is very high paced with lots of places open and close all the time. Stands out the iconic Minzar, which never disappoints with excellent beer selection, best food you can wish for (in a pub) and awesome signature vibe. Opens early on and always busy with market goers, tourists and later on with loyal crowds to finish the night. This place is a must.

A real Telavivian institution. Great food, non expensive alcohol. Very cool, relaxed and unpretentious place. Just like Tel-Aviv. Food is served from about 12:00.

A good restaurant with the cool Tel-Aviv vibe and energy. The menu is a good combination of great ingredients, and cold beer aside. Enjoy :)

Great bar with a nice and welcoming atmosphere. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming, making it a perfect spot to unwind. They offer a good selection of drinks and light snacks, ideal for casual evenings with friends or a laid-back night out. The service is friendly, and the setting is cozy—definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a chill bar experience.

Nice place. Open 24/7 which is very nice. If you want a place which is not crowded, take a sit in the upper floor. It has no wide selection of beers, which is a big downside. The dishes here are tasty, but not something that you mustn't miss. Worth a visit if you find yourself around here in a late night hour.

Always a pleasure to visit this old but fateful establishment. Nice drinks and great appetizers to share as a couple.
