This is the biggest winery in Brazil. I took the tour with the guide and she explained everything to me in details. Before the end of the tour, they teach you how to drink the wine. Definitely recommended

Absolutely a deception in regards of presentation and expectation. Perhaps my expectation was really high, but I definitely was expecting much more of a vineyard like Miolo. I love the scooters collection. But the person presenting the history and the wine fabrication was so robotic and not passionated about the products, productions and the history itself. A pity! Hope they can improve.

Years ago I used to come quite often.. I did the tasting, visitation etc. this year I went just to buy one specific wine (Lote 43). I wanted to try other wines (specifically the pinot noir. For my surprise they told us they don’t do more tasting of single bottles and you have to do the paid tasting. They would allowed me to do to the tasting without the visitation, but when I asked which wines were included they would not tell. But basically pinot noir would not be one of them. So what’s the purpose? You go to a winery to try the flavour and then buy a bottle. The staff it is nice the place ia beautiful but the wine purchase was disappointed and then after coming here before definitely not coming back

This place has a nice view and good structure. Visited it there with my family and it all started bad with the cashier, who also seems to be the manager there. She was extremely rude when we were picking the items we wanted and inquired about the extremely high cost of the wine glasses (yes, you have to buy the glasses).

Went here for a wine tour during the week. Did several other wine tours in the area over 1,5 weeks before. The company has become a typical example of a company growing too fast. Amongst other things this made it lose its authenticity. The tour guide sought no connection with the crowd and talks in a way someone would give a presentation in a primary school. Other employees are just at the company for work and do not really seem to care about their customers. It almost seems that the company scale increase made it lose just that which allowed it to grow: a good story; passionate people; a company that is actually working on a product instead of providing models "showing" the proces; and a tasting with a build in flavors instead of a mix. If you just want to be informed on a factory proces and taste some wine: go here. If you want to be guided through authentic companies by passionate people who do what they love: go elsewhere. There a plenty of companies in the area around Bento which are worth a visit. This could be on the same road, or in other areas like Faria Lemos.

Tradicional winery from Vale dos Vinhedos with a great tour through the installations and helpful staff. Also, if you pick the wine tasting you can get back R$ 20 at the store.

Yelp
The property is beautiful and nicely organized. The tour and tasting are introductory in comparison to other wineries in the area. Plan ahead because I showed up last minute for the tour and had the wait. The gift shop is extensive and has many options.

Yelp
The property is beautiful, but the staff and service are not good at all. The Sauvignon Blanc is pretty good, but it should have been served a little cooler than it was. The Garden is beautiful, well kept and in a perfect solar position. However, they don't have enough seats or pillows for the amount of people they could have. The staff is completely unprepared to deal with people, specially tourists with money to spend. I would encourage Miolo to train their staff better and also to improve their structure. If a garden has room for 150 people, those people should be comfortable, otherwise, don't let them in.

Yelp
Awful wine, tour is just okay, very chaotic and expensive I am originally from this region. I always knew the wines we produced here were bad. After living 10 years in the US, I came back here for a tour and to try out the wines. The tour was very chaotic, expensive and the wine taste at the end makes things even worse. I would come here for a few pictures and that is it. Don't waste your time and money on the tour and just move on. There aren't any better wines around... good wines are not here and won't be here ever. This region is too humid and wet, they add cachaca to the wine to increase the alcoholic level making it even worse. They are better off making juice and selling the fruit here, but they want to be wine producers... well, sorry, you can't!

Yelp
The property itself is huge and the wine is very good. In particular, we tried their 2013 award winning Chardonney and enjoyed it very much. A tour is R$15 which i believe R$5 can later go towards buying a bottle of wine. I enjoyed looking around their facility but when it came time to actually taste some wine, it was very hard to do so. There was only one attendant for all the visitors and he had to serve one party at a time and retrieve glasses and wine from a different room which took longer. Due to its size (I think it's one of the largest in the area) I don't think they pay as good attention to their guests as some of the smaller vineyards. However, the attendant did end up being very knowledgable and their wine was pretty good.
