Mioposto Eastlake - Review - Eastlake - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This Neapolitan-style pizza mini-chain just opened its fifth location in Eastlake. Like the other outposts, it’s got ample space for groups inside and serves pies topped with the likes of peaches and prosciutto, or pepperoni and Calabrian honey. There’s also a bacon and egg breakfast pizza." - Gabe Guarente

Quality food and service. Come here for lunch often and haven't been disappointed at all. Tried a variety of pizza. My personal favorites are the clam bake and the spring lamb pizza. Their lunch special is a great deal at about $21 for salad and a personal pizza. Love the interior design. It has a warm, comforting atmosphere. I appreciate any time a restaurant also gives you a clear view of both the kitchen area and the wood oven.

Went for brunch on Grand opening day and sat outside with the the puppy. The vibe, environment, service and food were all very pleasant and welcoming. It's so nice to have somewhere with brunch until late (3 pm) 7 days a week. The Panenata was a fun dish, I think of it as a Italian take on French toast (with apples). The Italian break was GREAT and the apples seasoned and cooked perfectly. The Shakshuka was nice as well... The tomato chunks/sauce felt slightly under cooked - I'm used to it being more of a roasted soft texture - where these were a bit fresher/raw - but it was certainly very nice and flavorful still. The watermelon salad was the highlight, very nice combo of sweet and savory and fresh flavors!! Was a nice brunch, especially for a place known for pizza.

Outstanding! Excellent variety of appetizer salads and oh yes, the pizza! The crust is amazing. It’s crisp. The flavor is complex and the variety of options is excellent. The parking is surprisingly easy and the service was fantastic. Another excellent Mioposto location.

I love this place. The staff are always the best; which heavily implies good ownership. The pizza is neopolitan style, super yummy. The grated lemon zest on the quattro fromagio takes it to the next level. If you get Anton as your server you are blessed, he is delightful.

Tried out the new location last night. Really happy to see Eastlake supporting a true neighborhood classic. We were sat right by the open kitchen pass through window. Very fun to watch foods come out, we got the apple dessert because it looked so enticing in the window. Everything we ordered from the cocktails to the dessert was pretty good. I do agree with other reviews about the Cesar being rather plain…where’s the sardines? The pizzas had great flavor, the lamb sausage pizza was the star for us. Do agree they could be more crispy on the bottom, the crust however was the perfect wood fired char and a great chew. My one big issue is that the bussing station should be moved. While we were there a glass and plate were broke from wait staff missing the bins. The noise created from the constant clanging of service wear was distracting from the beautiful set up they have created. Overall 4 out of 5 and will definitely be back. If it wasn’t so chilly last night dinning on the side patio would have been lovely.

Had a great dinner with friends here last week. It was lively and full of energy on a Friday night, really excited to have this new neighborhood spot! Service was smooth—Kate took excellent care of us, she made great recommendations, told us about the restaurant, made us feel welcome, truly great hospitality! Cocktails were spot on: the espresso martini and Negroni were perfectly balanced, not too sweet. We shared antipasti, meatballs, a stone fruit burrata salad, and two pizzas—the spicy pepperoni and garlicky clam, delicious. Impressive for a new spot. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Kate!

Just be aware they do not have heater lamps for take out pizza so they sit at the front desk. Your pizza is guaranteed to be completely cold. So now I am using my oven to bake it. I will not be ordering take out here. Just. Warning ps - I live in the apartment complex attached here my walk to pick up is 2 mins lol I wasn’t very late

Came here for restaurant week. Enjoyed our 2 pizzas- prosciutto and zucca balsamic. Ceaser salad was fresh and tasty also. Disappointed with the dessert options and the tiramisu end product. Restaurant vibes were fun- general buzz about the place and love the open kitchen concept.

Yelp
Simply amazing. This place came highly recommended and it was obvious why. We came early for dinner and had no wait. Started with a calamari appetizer which was so tender and a slightly spicy sauce. But, it's the pizzas! We ordered 3 pizzas: the traditional Margherita, the clam bake, and the peach and prosciutto. Obviously the Margherita was phenomenal. The clam was good and different. The seasonal peach and prosciutto was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. That combination was simply shocking! Every table gets bottled water but it's not cold. Maybe it's the norm here but no big deal. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
I usually don't write reviews until I've been somewhere a few times, but I left Mioposto so disappointed the other day I felt like I should share. Especially for neighbors with kids who were excited about a spot that seemed family friendly. We went for happy hour on a Friday afternoon (maybe that was our first mistake). The food was great, but the service was rough. When we came in, no one acknowledged us, and I had a stroller. Multiple servers and hosts walked right past me while I struggled with the door. Once we were seated it was hard to get anyone's attention to take our order or check in, and on the way out it was the same thing--trying to wrestle the door while staff just walked by. I was sad because I really wanted to love this place. I like doing happy hours with my toddler, and their kids menu made it seem welcoming for families. But after this, I'm not sure we'll go back anytime soon. Maybe once the new-opening buzz has calmed down.

Yelp
Opening day! We came by with our dogs for a patio breakfast. This location is right on the 70 bus line and is under the Liza apartments. Breakfast starts at 10AM and they have outdoor patio tables with two umbrellas that can be moved. We had; the kids breakfast panini Bacon and egg breakfast pizza Morning Hash Drinks Fresh squeezed lemonade that they were kind enough to remake for the kiddo who wanted it sweeter. Vanilla latte Iced Oat latte Dessert Tiramisu Root beer float The bacon and egg pizza is spicy! So heads up for that, it was yummy but the spicy level was unexpected. Drinks were yummy and the dessert for sure is a great way to celebrate a sweet tooth. First day of service at a new location, I'm sure they will continue to improve upon service as they get their bearings. Due to the record heat, we were cognizant of our water not being refilled and they should probably have an outdoor water station for the servers to easily replenish ice water for human and canine guests. We are looking forward to trying out the happy hour and drinks menu another time. Overall happy for this new addition in the neighborhood.

Yelp

Yelp
I was a bit surprised at the classy-ish vibe here when I arrived to scope out this new Eastlake joint. It didn't have quite the neighborhood feel I was expecting. I knew it would be a little more elevated than other things on the block, but it didn't feel super comfortable trying to finish up my work here while enjoying the happy hour (3pm-6pm). I'm glad I got one of the outdoor counter seats, because it seemed like the only appropriate place to bust out a laptop. OK, so it's a nice looking place, with a decent amount of patio space, and pretty nice seating arrangements overall, indoor and outdoors. The service was very patient, attentive and friendly. I think the happy hour is very alluring! I tried the oak age manhattan and was very happy. It was my third manhattan out of three places this week, and it was my favorite. At $12 it was a modest discount, but unlike some places, you get a the regular sized drink, and I realized they typically charge $19 for this barrel aged cocktail. I was very happy with that. I got an 8" pizza, which is a perfect size, and I believe the classic ones are about $10 and the specialty ones are $15. Perfect size for one hungry person or two snacky people. There were actually a lot of things on the HH menu from small and inexpensive and up to the pizzas (I can't really remember if there were other medium sized plate meals). So despite the fact that I might not see myself finishing up work with a cocktail here (although I probably will anyway, the inside bar top just seemed a smooshed) this is a great place to bring a date or group of friends. I'm aware there are a few MioPostos in the city now, but signs point to that they have a good thing going and so why not?

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood and have been twice since they have opened and have had a great experience both times. We added our names to the waitlist and were able to be seated upon arrival both times. It was around 10-20 min around 5:30/6pm both times. Everyone from the hosts who gave great recommendations, our amazing servers who were great with our kids (we most recently had Ethan on Tuesday night and he was great), to everyone who ran drinks and our food bye were so kind and attentive. The menu is great. We were thankful for recommendations. Try their seasonal apps, salads, & pizzas and don't skip the ceci! Lastly, the neighborhood seems to love this place because each time we've been there it has been full and we've chatted with lovely locals who seem to be excited about another good restaurant joining the Eastlake area. All in all we will be back and are excited they are just a few blocks away!
