unique

"Fine dining in a casual setting and price range is the concept. Masaaki Nakai interprets the classics to conjure a cuisine that is unique, hence the restaurant’s name. Stately presentations such as smoked terrine of foie gras and orange-fleshed yam or Asian black bear grilled in pie crust argue the case persuasively. Game such as fowl and rabbit are a seasonal speciality. Enjoy à la carte with a well-aged wine." - Michelin Inspector

Had such a great experience today! It was a cuteness overload. This café combines cozy vibes, coffee, and the undeniable charm of pint-sized piggies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making sure both humans and pigs are happy. The pigs are well cared for and incredibly social. Definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our time here with my 8 year old son we stayed for an hour. The staffs were friendly, the experience includes donuts, cold drinks and postcards person per person. The piglets are so cute and clean they’re 2 months, 1 yr old and 2 years old. It was really worth it, my son’s favourite activities today.

The pigs were so friendly and clearly well cared for. It was clean and they made sure the pigs came to us and no one could chase or corner the pigs. Pigs immediately wanted to sit on us and I had pigs in my lap the entire hour! Sleeping, snuggling, rooting and playing. I loved my time here and highly recommend!

Glad that I decided to spend a lazy Wednesday afternoon at Mipig cafe. I had seen this cute cafe on Instagram and decided to book a reservation in advance. The cafe is not difficult to find, the staff are friendly and speak good English. It costs ¥2700 per person as cover charge for an hour and you have the option of ordering drinks or desserts. Be kind to the little pigs, they’ll come to you if they like you :) Enjoy

We really enjoyed this and felt like the pigs loved us being there. They're very affectionate and will pile up in your lap for a group cuddle.

Mixed emotions: I visited this pig cafe a year ago and recently went back because I had an overall positive experience, but it feels like it’s become a victim of its own success. There were noticeably more pigs in the room, and I saw a larger one repeatedly abusing the smaller ones with no intervention; all around the piggies don’t seem to enjoy being there :(. I also noticed a lot of them foaming at the mouth, something I don’t remember seeing before. I’m not an expert, so I can’t say if that’s normal. Last year the piggies were left to do as they willed but now, although the rules clearly state we shouldn’t lift them, the staff repeatedly picked them up and placed them on people’s laps; which might be unnecessary if you already have a bunch sleeping on you? 😅 Another issue: upon entering, you’re asked to choose a drink from a short list of basic options, which gives the impression it’s included in the entry fee, but it’s not. You’ll be charged for it at the end. Plus, they have a rule that you must finish your drink within your time slot, so be smart and don’t order a hot one unless you’re ready to gulp it down quickly. Coincidentally both times the person at the entrance had an attitude that shows they don’t enjoy their work, but the staff on the rooms were the opposite, warm and nice. The piggies are adorable, but what I experienced this time made me question whether the animals are being treated ethically, it left me feeling uneasy.

this is a really fun experience for anyone who cant have their own pig at home. the minipigs are really relaxed and friendly, constantly chewing about and really keen to meet people. place is very clean and the staff is really professional and handles everything very well. we didnt see or experience any stress with the pigs, they get time off when staff recognizes stress. piggies seem trained „clean“, we didnt see any mishaps during all our stay. totally recommended for all families who like close animal contact :))
