Mira Mediterranean & Hookah Lounge

I took my wonderful girlfriend and my best friend here on a double date, and had the most wonderful time. Perfect first hookah experience. I loved the food, it was better than Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to, and all the cocktails were fire. The music is not too loud, and a very good playlist. Great vibes. The crowd is excellent. The staff is so nice. I rarely write reviews, but this place blew my expectations out of the ballpark. Will be returning.

My man took me here for my birthday and everything was amazing from start to finish. The food was top tier, I had the lamb chops and they were absolutely delicious, while he enjoyed the burger and loved it. The hookah was perfect (we got mint), super smooth, and the drinks were fantastic and came out super fast. The vibe, service, and overall experience made my birthday even more special. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. If you want good music, delicious food & drinks look no further this is the luxury-vibe you want!

Incredible service all the time can’t believe at one point this was our old go to Babylon, it’s evolved into a beautiful classy venue for all occasions! I suggested Mira for my out of state friend for her birthday and we had such a fun night, the music, the atmosphere, the vibes …. Immaculate. Our servers were so sweet. The drinks were high class and the small bites were delicious. Love.

I absolutely loved my experience at Mira in New York! The food was delicious, the hookah was very enjoyable and the tea and deserts was perfect. What really made this place special though was the hospitality. The owners and staff were incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming. They made us feel genuinely comfortable and appreciated. With is great atmosphere, excellent food and warm service, Mira is definitely a place I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended!

I visited Mira on the weekend with my 2 friends and in general I give it a 4/5 because when we arrived they told us that we could only last two hours in the place and really two hours would pass very quickly but we practically had to told them that we would go somewhere else if they took us out. The drinks were good, the hookah, I really expected something better, the restaurant was the best, the super beautiful decoration, we liked the music because they played Latin music and the food we only tried entries and it was good. We spent 750 including the tip.

First at all, one of the first thing that you noticed when you come in it's how beautiful and cozy the place is. Music it is always on point, having the lastest playlist as well DJs at night time. I love their Burger, I always get it when I come here, just like the lamb chops too. My bartender was Yana, she made fabulous drinks, specially the Mediterranean sunset. In terms of hookah, I tried Bliss and definitely be back with my friends to enjoy more. Service was impeccable, staff was friendly and for sure to be a new place I think they are doing very well. I think for bottle service experience I will be back, for sure they mentioned that they have Belly dancer on the weekends. Worth to check it out and definitely have drinks and hookahs. I loveeee how beautiful it looks.

I’ve came a couple times and the experience I’ve had every time has been great. The manager Serhat had the warmest hospitality I’ve ever had at any establishment. Highly recommend! The Mira honey drink is so pretty it comes with a flower ice cube. The food was amazing too, I got the lamb chops and they were cooked perfectly. The hookah is also top tier — smooth and lasted so long. Overall such a great experience, definitely coming back! ✨

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The service was great and I went on a weekday. I was seated immediately, but keep in mind I did sit at the bar. The ambiance of the restaurant is really great for dates, group dinners and after work meet ups. The decor was chic and calm but still great if you like content and pictures. Haha The food was freshly made and tasted good. About a seven out of ten. I noticed they allow you to have hookah as well during dinner, not my cup of tea but definitely will be a mood for those that like that vibe.

So struggling to give a bad review because service and ambiance was amazing but I just looked over the receipt and they charge you sales tax on the tip. Such bullshit, they're basically pocketing an extra 9% on your tip. The prices are high and tip is automatically set to 20% then charge an extra 8.75% on the tip? I know a handful of places do this and get away with it because few people check but it's not right. It's just way for them to get extra money. Hopefully they see this and change. If not, double check your receipt.

Mira was the perfect spot for our girls' night out! I came here with four friends to celebrate a birthday, and from the moment you walk in, the vibe is chef's kiss. Dim lighting, sexy ambiance, good music--definitely the kind of place that feels fun but still elegant. We had an early dinner reservation at 6:45 PM, which was perfect. By the time we were leaving around 9 PM, the place had really picked up and we noticed a small line forming outside. There is a two-hour table limit, which I thought was totally fair given how busy it gets. Now let's talk food and drinks, because everything was GOOD. For drinks, we ordered the Espresso Martini, Mira Spritz, and Velvet Lychee. Three of us had the Mira Spritz and thought it was refreshing and tasty, but not necessarily out of this world. HOWEVER, the Espresso Martini and Velvet Lychee were a huge hit--one of my friends loved the Velvet Lychee so much she ordered three , which says everything. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp lava, falafel, and calamari. All were yummy, but the shrimp lava was hands down our favorite( so flavorful and delicious.) For entrées, we ordered the salmon, lamb chops, and Alfredo pasta. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. My salmon was AMAZING, paired with a pea cream and crispy elements that took it to another level. So, so good. To end the night, the three of us who originally had the Mira Spritz asked for a pornstar martini (not on the menu), and it was excellent! Such a fun way to wrap up the evening. Overall, we had a great experience. The restaurant is super cute, stylish, and perfect for a girls' night or an intimate date. Bonus points if you're into hookah, they have several options available. Would definitely recommend and absolutely would return.

This is an upscale s Mediterranean escape with a chic lounge vibe, the new hotspot. From the dimly lit ambiance to the elegant decor, every corner of this space whispers luxury. The cocktails rings from $22-$25. The average price of an entrée is in the $30 range. We spent about $176 per person. The customer service was good thank you Alisha for your hospitality.. Celebrities like Cardi B and Shaq have already made their way here and after my visit, I can see why. We came for an early dinner and were blown away by every detail from the cocktails to the entrées. The grilled Bronzino, octopus, fish tacos, and chicken appetizers were our crowd favorites. Although we didn't try the hookah this time, the aroma was so fresh and inviting and it's definitely on my list for next visit. Come by around 9PM on the weekends when the DJ sets the mood, and the energy turns from elegant to pure vibes. Whether it's a romantic date night or an evening out with friends, Mira is the perfect mix of sophistication and good vibes. One of the best spots I've been to in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in--smooth music, a calm but lively vibe, and an ambiance that makes the whole experience feel elevated. They even had a live DJ setting the tone for the night, which made the place feel vibrant without being overwhelming. If you go, ask for Keely at the bar. She was the bartender and absolutely made the experience memorable. Her drinks are on another level--especially the passion fruit margarita. It was perfectly balanced, smooth, and honestly one of the best margaritas I've had. You can tell she puts real care into what she makes. Between the great hookah, excellent drinks, good food, and the relaxed but stylish atmosphere, it's an incredibly impressionable spot. The kind of place where you come to unwind, enjoy the vibe, and end up staying longer than you planned. Keely's service and personality really elevate the whole experience. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to.

For what it is I would say that this Babylon revamp exceeded my expectations. Its vibey, the staff is friendly, the food was tasty (a tad bit salty but the fish was delish) and the hookah was great ! Walking in , shaking hands and being welcomed by the owner set the tone. Mira had very intimate decor, lighting resembles candlelight and the bartender ? She was great ! Came here unexpectedly but we plan to return soon .

I've been on the hunt for a good hookah lounge near Midtown and I think I've found it! MIRA is the spot!idk how I'm just discovering this... The vibe here is everything: dim lighting, sleek modern decor, and a lively, almost club like atmosphere. - Grilled octopus: Flavorful and tender. I wish it had been a bit more charred, but the sauce was EVERYTHING!!! - Calamari: Meh. Nothing special. Served with chipotle mayo and marinara. Eight calamari rings for $19... You could skip this one! - Mussels: Absolutely delicious! The sauce was the star again, served with garlic bread. Salmon: A must order!!! Perfectly cooked with crispy skin, served with asparagus and rice with a sweet curry/coconut sauce that was spot on. The cocktails are excellent--try the Mira Honey, it's so good! Tastes like creamsicle. Hookah here is pricey; we got the Mira Mix with a pineapple head and iced hose for $65. I think it's very strong. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Overall, I loved the energy and vibe at MIRA. Just be prepared--it's not cheap. For two people, we spent $372! PSA: 20% gratuity is automatically added to every bill, regardless of party size.

Mira is a very elevated, low-key hookah lounge with a Mediterranean menu. I had the salmon cooked medium with a caper lemon butter sauce on the side . It was simple but really delicious. The hookah was fresh, and the staff came by often to refill the coal. We ordered truffle fries when the hookah came out, and they were the perfect pairing. The fries were hot, crispy, and had a great truffle flavor. Definitely a solid spot if you're looking for good food and a speakeasy , upscale vibe.

The ambience of this place is really beautiful. My friend took me out as a little celebration since I came back in town and unfortunately, we chose this place to eat. This place is good for vibes. Drinks, etc. but not the food. First, I had the octopus. It was decent. Didn't have much flavor but edible. Then I had the lamb chops and I think it was the most disgusting thing I've ever tried, absolutely disgusting. It was barely cooked. Undercooked under season. Lack flavor the mashed potatoes lack texture. The dish was just poorly made . I handed it right back to the bartender, and I was so turned off. It's mind-boggling how nasty it was. Listen I love me some Mediterranean food but these people just do not have it correct.

Babylon did great rebranding as MIRA. All of the staff is amazing - no attitudes, you're not rushed out and they communicate! Drinks are really good and very affordable + quality hookah. It can get very packed on Saturday nights - with a wait of 30/40 minutes just to get to the bar - but it's worth it! Music is good and the place is beautiful! Will definitely come back to try some food.

It's so beautiful in here I sat at the bar and my bartender/waitress Yana was THAT GIRL She was working her butt off -- stocking, taking orders, and making drinks like a total boss She definitely deserves a raise I'll be back tomorrow, period. The ambience was very sleek, sexy, and low-lit--perfect for a date night or intimate vibe. The food was really good overall, and the Shrimp Lava appetizer was packed with flavor. The Branzino was cooked perfectly, Mira Honey drink was impressive where the foamy top layer added a great texture to a light, citrusy drink that was super refreshing. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.

Came here for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. This Mediterranean place was very nice and the food was so good. The ambience is perfect for a date night and that definitely stood out to me. I was Highly impressed with this restaurant. I would definitely recommend it for date nights or small group gatherings. The vibe is dark moody and sexy. It's not only a restaurant but also a hookah lounge. Therefore making it like a chill hangout spot even if it's just to grab small bites. We went on a Wednesday night and to be honest my boyfriend and I are not big on hookah and hoped it wouldn't bother us as we ate-Thankfully it didn't. You can smell it slightly but not to disturb your food. -which was a plus for us! Service was great and there were great selection of cocktails. Presentation in cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend the Mira honey and the Mediter spicy sunset. Food was delicious. We tried the lamb chops and they were juicy and very tasteful. My boyfriend tried the kebab, also very flavorful. I would maybe expand a little more of food selection but nevertheless it was great. As per appetizers the fish tacos were amazing as well. And definitely try their calamari. For dessert we tried their lava cake paired with the pistachio sorbet and it was perfect way to end our night. It is a small place so I'm sure it'll get busy during the weekends. I would definitely try coming then to see if their setting is a little different .

Stopped by Mira on a weeknight and had a great time. The passionfruit hookah was smooth and produced thick clouds without any harshness. I also ordered the grilled chicken plate, which came out fast and tasted great. Clean setup and peaceful vibe throughout

Food was absolutely amazing! Amazing staff! Cool decor and mood! Some tables had hookahs but I could barely and rarely smell it and when I did it was fruity or nice. The food was amazing. Great Hostess, two great waitresses, and even the bouncer gentleman outside was great to chat with. 10/10 would walk 40minutes to it again!

Mira Restaurant - Disappointing Birthday Experience I came to Mira to celebrate my 30th birthday, and honestly, I left really disappointed. The food was good and the drinks were delicious -- but everything else about the experience missed the mark. When we first arrived, my group sat at the bar to wait, and they actually took one of our chairs away so someone else could sit. We had a reservation, yet still waited a long time to be seated. Not a great first impression. Once we were finally seated, they crammed all seven of us into a tiny table because they'd clearly overbooked. Service was painfully slow, the food came out cold, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and short-handed. The restaurant itself is very small, and the portions were underwhelming for the price. For my 30th birthday, I expected a much better experience. Mira might be okay for a casual drink or quick bite, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for birthdays, celebrations, or large groups. What should've been a special night turned into a stressful one.

Forget this place... it's more expensive than le Bernadin but on par with red lobster. It's a cheesey a$$ night club in the evenings and service is horrendous.

came here on a Wednesday and it was jumping! everyone was well dressed and the food was stunning!

We came in on a weekday , we were seated all the way in the back we kept trying to call someone over to take down our order so we decided to go to the front and ask to be seated closer to the front . We placed our order our server made a mistake with the water order how are we suppose to know it's not sparkling water as requested . We weren't notified about the hookah prices and differences as we are ordering we should be notified there's a price difference the hookah was $80 , we notified the server she just explained everything a attitude , and the water mix up as well she tend to blame us for the mistake . The food was great but the service was so slow we had to keep calling someone over , towards the end the server kept checking up on us the tip was included already in the bill . Overall it was a bad experience with the customer service and overpricing . We loved the music and wall decors the interior design but we won't be back again .
