Mirabel Lodge

I am a care giver and owned an adult boarding care facility for 8 years. I have a client I take to doctor appointments as well as outings and I am impressed by how nice is the staff and how well this place is run.

My mom said this was the best place she had ever been in , and I agree , thank you thank you thank you, Alan , boy we had some really wild times out there, God bless ********** I just read the bad posts , my paralyzed mother would disagree with you

I was stuck at this awful place for a year. I would only recommend putting someone here if you hated them!

The place is clean and staff seems professional. Nice grounds.

My 90 yr old dad was at Mirabel Lodge when we transferred from a private home assisted living situation until recently when he took a turn for worse and needed Skilled Nursing. The staff is top notch @ Mirabel, Dee and Lori are so easy to work with in getting things for my dads needs and intake manager Josh goes way beyond the call of duty to insure the safety of the residents there. They were all just evacuated from the recent lightening fire to house in Cloverdale, and i needed to bring Josh some shipped items and found that he not only escorted his people there, but moved into the temp housing to make sure everyone was comfortable and didn't feel misplaced. Dad has dementia and was convinced he was on a cruise while @ Mirabel, and always let us know how happy he was there. Kudos to Mirabel! When allowed Mirabel brings in an assortment of musical entertainment for the people to enjoy.

My sister was at Mirabel Lodge for a year. The facility is clean, caregivers were awesome, and she loved the food. I would reccomend them highly.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish there was a 10 star rating. Five stars is just not enough to describe the incredible residence for the memory impaired. The residence is open, light filled and beautiful set in the center of lush grounds in Sonoma, including a largely wrap around porch. My auntie was experiencing dementia behaviors and when I became concerned, her caretaker proceeded to try to cut her off from me. Unfortunately, my auntie was the victim of elder abuse emotionally and financially. By the time, we could get this addressed including the authorities, her bank accounts had been drained, a reverse mortgage had been taken out on her home and her credit cards had been run up to more than $30K. I reviewed 4 different "facilities" and by far Mirabel was my favorite. It was going to be necessary to sell her home to be able to afford any residence. This process took several months and under these difficult circumstances, Mirabel Lodge accepted her anyway with the promise to be paid when her house sold. Josh was an angel, literally picking her up in the morning home and bringing her home at night to a night caretaker as we could not afford 24 care. Have you ever heard of such a thing? I hadn't. Auntie loved Mirabel immediately, of course Josh was her favorite, but also the staff and new friends she made. She loved her room, her roommate and the food. I spoke to her almost daily and in small talk asked what she had eaten that day. Sometimes she couldn't remember but on many occasions she commented that the "chef" had made this or that and it was delicious. Sadly, she passed away last week but was happy up to the very end. I credit this largely to Josh as auntie would say, "if I was 40 years younger". . . too funny. As I write this, I am in tears of gratitude. These fine people are angels and truly care and love their residents. I obviously cannot recommend them with any greater confidence. If your loved one is in need of this kind of care, drop everything and "run" to get that loved on in!!!
