Miracle Christmas Pop-Up Bar Heads to Pacific Cocktail Haven and Paper Plane | Eater SF

"What started off as a one-off pop-up in New York has grown into a red-and-green beast with more than 90 locations; in its fifth year Miracle will return to Pacific Cocktail Haven in San Francisco and head to Paper Plane in San Jose for the first time. Running from the day after Thanksgiving through New Year’s Eve, the pop-up transforms host bars into wintry wonderlands and serves cheeky, in-theme cocktails in custom glassware — examples on the 2018 menu include the Christmapolitan, Snowball Old Fashioned, Bad Santa (served hot), Koala-La La La, La La La La (gin, pine, dry vermouth, lime, eucalyptus syrup), Gingerbread Flip, Run Run Rudolph, and the Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r! Our company just hosed our annual holiday party here. Their whole team was great, food was good, festive atmosphere, and themed drinks were very enjoyable. Great space for a larger group event!

We had a work holiday party this week and once it was over, we all walked to miracle bar. They were not expecting such a big group on such short notice. The staff did a wonderful job handling our group. Hyge props to them! It was a lot for them to handle but they did it so well and we're very kind! The drinks were amazing and the decor and vibe was stunning

The bartender literally took a dirty glass that had lipstick on it and tried to wipe it off with a dirty rag, looked at it, knew it was disgusting, and served it anyway. Gross.

It was pretty that's all. The reservation fee doesn't go towards your tab. Tiny cocktails for $15 and then another $15 if you want to take home the cup it comes in. Not worth it in my opinion. You're better off finding a better christmas experience for a better price!

Came here for my company's holiday party and the atmosphere was amazing! Tv's playing Home Alone, ornaments were everywhere! The servers were on top of everyone even tho we had about 200 people. Really great time!

I absolutely love coming here during the holidays. It is one of my most favorite KC traditions. The scene is festive and bright. You can't help but be in a good mood when you're here. The staff is incredible, especially Steven!! He was so kind and made us feel so welcomed. Everyone we encountered from the staff to the patrons were just amazing. We really bring the Midwest sparkle here! Go and enjoy a slice of holiday heaven, you won't be disappointed!

Literally SO CUTE!! The cocktails we tried were: the christmapolitan, christmassaurus, koala la la la, snowball old fashioned, bad Santa, and yippe ki yay. Our favorite was the Bad Santa. All of them had different flavors and were very strong (not complaining at all! ;)) We left feeling tipsy and pleased - don't worry - we ubered. Our waitress was so cute and nice and genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. Merry Christmas!

My friends love to come here every year it's a tradition for us. This time 2 friends ordered theentire menu together. it was awesome. we tasted every drink on the menu. all were delicious. Fun, festive vibes!

I'll start by saying it's a fun vibe, decorated very well and I enjoyed my visit with my friends. BUT it's expensive - $26 to get it and sit. Food and drinks are ok but what annoyed me the worst is they served the food on the thinnest paper plates and gave us bathroom towels as napkins!! seriously - so tacky and completely felt like a slap in the face knowing the money they're making there. it's called branding - make your customer feel special with every detail. Costco sells 2000 napkins for $10. Total turnoff.

Super fun Christmas themed pop-up bar on the Plaza. Call ahead for reservations. Your ticket gets you in the door, but everything you order is an additional cost. Pricey drinks, but big portions served in adorable mugs/glasses. Everyone is in the holiday spirit here- it'll definitely get you in the mood for a fun Christmas! Loud, but not deafening- we had to speak up but we could still hear each other, which can't always be said for other bars!

Fantastic environment- Christmas decor wonderful. Drinks were really strong, not a bad thing. A friend turned 21 years old- so we had a shot ski which was so fun. All the drinks except something with banana & chocolate in a barrel- it was pretty gross. The rest were unique & fun. The price was a little high- drinks were minimum $15 per drink plus the cover of $20 per person. It's great for a special occassion. Our waitress was fantastic!!! Friendly, attentive!

Three stars just for the atmosphere and service. Where the place falls short I the drinks. They were way.... way.... wayyyyyyy too sugary. My group of 6 only found on item on the menu that was tolerable. This could be a home run if the drink menu was a little more refined and didn't appeal so much to.... well.... kids.
