The guy behind the meat counter with all the earrings and lip ring.. I have been going to miracle market since I was a child.. the one thing that hasn't changed it when you walked through the door that smell hit you in the face, but I bothered by that because they still have had the best service and some of the best meats, even though they are a little expensive. I went there a few months ago, and the guy behind the counter was so rude to me that I thought maybe he was having a bad day. He acted as if I owed him something. He didn't determine me because I don't live close enough to come out there. I'm usually about 25 miles away from miracle market at this point in my life. But as I was, I drove down to Compton today to go to the market to pick up some of my favorite things. The whole kit, cheese, the spicy sausage and turkey neck. This felt like war. Every time I asked this man or something he was upset like I am bothering him at his home. He spoke to me in a degrading fashion, like I was stupid. Like he had the answer to the quiz and I studied for them all week long and I should know that every turkey wing is 1 pound. That every loop of the sausage was 1 pound. Just plain ole rude. As my grandchild looked back at me because she wanted to understand what was happening. I had the advisor that people behaved like this sometimes. But I don't have to spend my money where I'm not treated with respect. I gave him every courtesy that I could I said, please and thank you. I ask how his day was. None of that seemed to soften the blows that he threw it me every time I open my mouth. This is my last trip to America market. I work too hard to spend my money where I'm not respected.
