"Broward may not be known for its Cuban bakeries, but this Hollywood classic—which was named after a neighborhood in Havana and not the City of Miramar—will give any Miami pastelito purveyor a run for their money. Their croquetas are some of our favorites in South Florida—crispy on the outside with a creamy ham filling. And while we hate this cliché, they do quite literally melt in your mouth. The pastelitos have crisp, flakey crusts, and generous fillings. And it wouldn’t be a proper Cuban bakery if you couldn’t get a proper café con leche, cortadito, or colada here, which you can and should order. Miramar has all the other Cuban bakery staples, too, and they’re all done very well: loaves of airy Cuban bread, pan de gloria, medianoche bread, homemade Cuban crackers, syrup soaked capuchinos, and more. Most people take their orders to go, but there are a handful of tables inside the bakery, as well as a few covered tables in front." - Carlos C Olaechea

This place is very clean with a great staff. They offer a great variety of pastries. They even have natural juice. The only complaint was the steak sandwich had WAY too much mayonnaise. You could hardly see the steak because it was covered in mayonnaise. I still would recommend this place. And if you are getting a steak sandwich just tell them to take it easy on the mayonnaise.

Google
Their party trays are reasonably priced and satisfy the sweet and savory for any party appetizers. They also have many individual items on display. Delicious! There is Cafe seating for those wanting to eat there.

I Ordered soft eggs 🥚 Not this what the hell is this looks like an old omelette! The potatoes were old 🤮Luckily for you I had to go to work , but you guys can eat this garbage !i” It’s ok you stole my money and served me nasty food, but you lost a very good customer ! So now your it’s your biggest lost 💯 It’s strange you would think people who come frequently would get treated better , But it’s like a Weird Envy they have towards me ! So disappointed 😔 this happens too many times I give you guys so many’s chances but I’m done ✅

Google
I got the lechon meal with beans and rice and it was the best Cuban food I have ever had and I’ve had a lot of Cuban food. The pork was juicy and flavorful and the rice was perfect and the sweet plantains were so good!! And I got the chorizo croquettes and they were amazing!

Google
Ive given this location 3 tries. This is the last. I tried this place out because of his reviews but people need to stop lying. This places is absolutely trash. The 1st time I ordered the food was mediocre at best and they left a few items but my order. 2nd time I ordered they gave my order to someone else and when we received it, it was TERRIBLE as if it were food sitting out for hrs. The pastries were stale and overcooked. Pastelillo de carne, croquetas and empanadas were overcooked and stale. They were old and refried. 3rd time, today pastries drenched in oil. Pastelillos is thin as heck. Why. Disgusting. Do not waste your time here. Go somewhere else.

I am Cuban and have been going here for years. This is your go to for the best Cuban bakery and pastries in broward county. The owner is a really good person. Family oriented and good service. No one can compete with the quality. It’s popular so go early before items sell out. I highly recommend you stop by if your in the area.

Google
Newly remodeled bakery with a few dine in tables and outdoor tables and chairs. There is sometimes a line but you can order ahead online (no phone orders are taken!). They have the traditional cuban Breakfasts, plates (bistec, pollo a la plancha etc) as well as sandwiches (pan con bistec, croqueta preparada etc) and desserts! Worth a stop- it is one of the best cuban bakeries on 441 in this area.

Yelp
Love this place The location The food The price The service The ambiance I love it all Foodie ninja will be back

Yelp
Extremely popular and busy bakery on 411 in Miamar. The order line went very quickly and I ordered a guava pastry for a few bucks which had a nice flaky crust and sweet inside. Sadly, they just ran out of the famous garlic toast for $1.00. Fresh squeezed orange juice, beautiful cakes and cuban sandwiches are available. Several customer tables inside and an optional front covered patio with an additional four tables. They offer a rewards program for returning customers, and receive 100 points as a welcome bonus which is enticing and good marketing strategy. The business sign affixed to the exterior wall was partially faded in need of repair. The bathroom was modern with gray tile flooring extended to the wall.

Yelp
Haven't been in this bakery in a long time. I ordered breakfast to go and everything was very tasty. I had the beefsteak sandwich with cheese and it was delicious. I wish the steak was thicker but it was ok. The chicken empanada was also very good and flavorful. I had the caramel iced frappe and it was not my favorite so i wouldn't order that again. Overall very solid bakery. Great service and good spot for breakfast and cafecito.

Yelp
We stop here every time in town for pasties and Sammie's. We get the quesitos the pastel de carne the empanadas de carne and a tornillo. This time did a medianoche instead and the cubano. The fresh oj is so legit we got an extra one. Service is quick and they replace items often.

Yelp
Love this place!!! I have been coming since I was little and the croquetas and cuban bread are my favorite!

Yelp
Can't believe this hidden gem has been right under my nose the whole time, I've lived here my whole life. They have a full menu of options and delicious pastries. I got an iced coffee and a ham and cheese croissant with a guava cheese pastry and they were delicious. The coffee was pretty sweet but yummy, and the croissant was pressed hot and thin with a sweet coating on the outside. The pastry was also so flaky and delicious, i sat outside to enjoy it they have more than enough seating inside and out. The food and coffee came out pretty quick and the place was clean. Mostly Spanish speaking people working here as it's a Cuban bakery.

Alexandra P.

Yelp
Miramar Bakery is the best Cuban bakery! Located in Hollywood - this location is really beautiful. We came here early in the AM and got to stand and admire the beautiful artwork inside. My husband ordered a Cafe con Leche (coffee with milk) and I got the same but iced. And uff the iced cafe con leche is really good. You get a good balance of taste of coffee and milk together. We usually get their breakfast special of buttered Cuban bread with eggs, fries & coffee. Staff is always so sweet and prepare everything really quick.

Jeff J.

Yelp
I gotta say this place is very clean and efficient. Food here is on point I usually go for the steak sandwich which you can customize to your liking. The pastries are also good too. When I mean efficient I mean when you place your order online either it be coffee or iced coffee they make it right when you pick it up.

Mayako N.

Yelp
The place is growing! It's Sunday afternoon and there are a lot of people enjoying sandwiches and meals. It's super clean and the coffee is hot and yummy. The service is quick! Next time, we are planning to come back to grab some meals here. It's nice that they added more tables and places to enjoy their food.

Yelp
The best bakery in Broward with delicious fresh pastries. I ordered a ice cafe con leche (iced coffee with milk) and meat partier. In addition, for my sons 6 months celebration I was able to have and create a croquette guava cake. I got together with the manager and a few workers to help me put together this amazing, beautiful cake for my son. my family and I were amazed and happy with the results. The cake was delicious with both sweet and salty. It's always good to have a little bit of both worlds.

Alba G.

Yelp
I like the ease of ordering and access to this place. I got a steak sandwich for here and it was pretty decent. I also tried the croquetas which were okay as well. It's a nice shop so I will give it that. The ladies were nice and attentive when it was time to pick up my order.

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday morning and phew this place is LOUD. I think the way it was remodel with an open plan was a great idea but you could really hear everyone's conversations bouncing of the walls. Thankfully there is outside seating so you only hear the noise inside i think some wall foaming might help but anyways the reason why we really came is for the FOOD!! Everything look super fresh, I order the breakfast with 2 eggs, ham, and home potatoes. It came with coffee and Cuban toast under $10 it's definitely a deal. Got some chicharrón and it was warm crunchy and salty the perfect snacky snack Brought home some guava and cheese pastries that were so full of flavor and the perfect combination. The staff was nice and helpful, they kept the line moving very fast.

Yelp
Who knew I'd have to go all the way to Broward to get THE BEST CUBAN TOSTADA?! So glad I found Miramar Bakery! My dad lives nearby, so I ordered a couple of party platters from here for a party we would be having at his house. While picking up my order, I decided to order a tostada and a few fresh ham croquetas. The croquetas were so fresh: perfectly crispy on the outside with warm ham filling on the inside, some of the best I've ever had. But the tostada was what really blew me away...super fluffy, buttery, & soft. It had been SO long since I've had a tostada that delicious. Thank you, Miramar Bakery in Hollywood! The bakery itself is so cute! Very clean, and has a beautiful mural. You can expect salsa or other cuban music to be playing. The ladies working are very pleasant and get the line moving quickly. Anytime I'm in the area, stopping here is a must!

Yelp
I'm always happy to support the Cuban business since I am part Cuban. This store was next to American thrift and what a perfect time to have expresso coffee so I can get more wide-eyed. I could not resist the empanada, although I usually avoid fried foods, I had the spinach empanada and it was yummy. I won't be doing this too often at all since I prefer baked, no oil food. The cakes and desserts all looked very nice but I seriously doubt any were vegan, I should have asked. If you like Cuban deserts this is the place and I believe they have sandwiches too. There is indoor dining and outside too. Parking is ample.

Dula N.

Yelp
The greatest bakery in south Florida! Great service And more importantly, great food! They have the party packs of pastries as well as singles and classic dishes for breakfast and lunch. Hollywood and 441

D C.

Yelp
The food was not well seasoned. it was unsavory..... They need to work on the cleaning. the place is dirty inside and outside. Nobody is attending to the cleaning of the tables at all. Thank you!

Henry V L.

Yelp
Miramar bakery although is is really in Miramar? Lol. Located on 441 and Hollywood so I think it's safe to say this is Hollywood. This place is so awesome tho. I love that they have party trays and there is ease placing an order. I ordered online around 7 am and my order was finished when I arrived 15 minutes later. These pastelitos were bussin. My favorite are the guava pastry and croquettas. Soooo good when served fresh. My company goes here all the time and are loyal to their service. I love how they have bakery goods on display, but hate that it's so tempting to buy it all LOL. Nice and friendly customer service.

Melissa R.

Yelp
Stopped by this spot as I have heard so much about it. The place was pretty busy but the line was fast, besides you are too busy staring at all the delicious food behind the mirror and trying to figure out what you wanted to eat. The pastelitos and empanadas are fresh and come out hot very often. I tried the carne pastelitos and it was delicious. Crust was flaky with enough meet to pastry ratio and there was a nice glaze on top. I also orders dessert as it was too hard to resist. The cheesecake flan is amazing and the chocolate mousse was ok. Will be back again in the future

Yelp
Great service ! Food is very good quality .I have purchased for family gatherings, I've never been disappointed.

Yoli G.

Yelp
Food, coffee, great service, you have many selections to choice from. Sandwiches and pastries. Fresh squeeze orange juice.

Jim D.

Yelp
Love everything about this place. Food and dessert and pastries are amazing! Great service love the Cuban love here.

Janelle K.

Yelp
Local Cuban bakery in Hollywood with the best ChIcken Empanadas EVER! They also offer full meals aside from the standard handheld bakery items. Fresh Cuban bread is available daily.

Mary K.

Yelp
Locals come here. Lunch was plentiful, delicious, and inexpensive. Ropa Vieja, Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, croquettes, guava and d cheese pasties are a few menu items. We came before the Orange Bowl and the line was long but moved fast. Food came out quick. They have a few cases displaying numerous bakery items as well.

Christian D.

Yelp
Stopped by here with my friend because she was in the mood for something like this. I did not eat anything. This review is based on her experience. She ordered a croquetta and guava pastry with a Cuban coffee. She said the croquetta tasted "older" like it had been reheated or sat under a heat lamp. I said it was probably because we went at 1130am, after the breakfast rush had long been gone. She said the pastry was ok, but that she could get the same thing cheaper in her neighborhood. She enjoyed her coffee and said it was hot like she wanted. This is no where near my neck of the woods, nor hers, but we passed it on our way to something else in the plaza. It is unlikely I would go here again unless I am in that area and craving the foods they offer.

Lou R.

Yelp
Midnight sandwich and croissant sandwich were dry and tasteless .not what it use to be .

Liza C.

Yelp
Terrible to pick up food and get your car towed meanwhile owner comes out to pretty much be rude instead of trying to help the situation. I will never go back here again. Also piece of advice if your clients are suffering from the plaza managements poor choices then you as a business owner should try to help the situation because like I explained to the rude Cuban lady that came outside it all reflects your business.

Eileen R.

Yelp
Best Cuban bakery in Miramar! Great and quick service. And the party packages are very affordable. Location is great and Is kept clean.

Katy W.

Yelp
We were thrifting in the area and saw their big "Cuban Bakery" sign and couldn't resist stepping in. It was around 5:30 on a Sunday evening so the place was pretty empty, a couple of gentlemen were sipping coffee at a table outside, and two different women stopped in for orders. The inside is very inviting. The indoor dining isn't available currently due to COVID-19 but it's painted with a beautiful Cuban mural. Even though they were close to closing they still had plenty of pastries and treat on display. We weren't very hungry but couldn't say no to some very tempting pastries. We ordered a Coquito Dulce de Leche and a little custard rum cake thing that didn't have a label, and a colada to share. Colada was delicious and not overly sweet! The pastries were so rich, sweet and tasty. Honestly can't believe that I haven't heard more about this place before because it's honestly great and very unique for the area. Really want to stop in for a full breakfast soon and plan on writing a much more detailed review then!

Sheri S.

Yelp
Everything is wonderful. The staff are all super sweet. The food is amazing. The Cuban loaves are delicious. Great atmosphere and I spend a lot of time here

Yelp

Jennifer M.

Yelp
WRONG ORDER! Order over $40.00 worth of pastries and got completely the wrong order. We live quite far from this place. Trusted them to provide us with the correct items through Uber. All the manager could say is sorry we have a new employee sorry nothing we can do. UNACCEPTABLY!!!!!

Abimelec A.

Yelp
Bad service! Super rude personnel. Food was average 5 out 10. I am a simple guy, but the attitude of the cashier was cutting in the edge of dryness and bad humor. When I went to get my Cuban Sandwich the lady was calling for my wife, I told her the order was for me and she was a bit mad and gave me a bad look. She literally threw the sandwich. I had a decision to make either leave it at the counter or eat it and provide an honest / objective review on the service and the food taste and quality. Which I was very disappointed. I hope this help you all. Not good place.

Shavonne J.

Yelp
First off this place is a local breakfast spot that's really a hidden gem. It's in the cuts right behind Wendy's. It's a nice big spot that so clean you can eat off the floor. This bakery has the freshest baked treats. I personally love their Cuban coffee more specifically the cafe con leche. When I tell you it's strong and tasty. Trust me I'm a coffee snob and this coffee is elite! When I go I really enjoy getting the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant. They have a short rib empanada that is fantastic. The guava and cheese pastry is sweet but not too sweet and has a nice balance of cream cheese. This place is consistently delicious and the staff is friendly as well. Definitely try this spot out. It's one of my favs.

Krystal T.

Yelp
So many wonderful treats in the bakery that I've never tried before. I bought Jamon finger, guava pastry, coco dulce de Leche macaroon and some CUBAN COFFEE CON LECHE!!! I loved my experience here and wish we had this bakery in Dallas, Texas.

Gina D.

Yelp
I ordered takeout. The process was easy. When I got there at the recommended time I was stole they were out of something. I choose to wait as it was only 5 minutes. After about 20 minutes I went back up to inquire about the order. Based on the confused look on there faces I knew there was an issue. Apparently someone took my food. They said they called my name and a lady came up and claimed it. Wow. I can't fault the establishment as there are so many people there partaking in there delightful offerings. They apologized and went to recreate my order. I was very late to my meeting and while I was not happy about that the food made up for it. All the food was delicious. All the staff are friendly and try to make the customers happy. I am sorry this happened and the establishment is out the cost of my large order but I do appreciate them making every effort to make it right. Highly recommended bakery!!!

Jose Enrique S.

Yelp
Quaint spot for sweet pastries, coffee and the best sandwiches! They sell the very popular pastry trays which I find handy for last minute work functions or meetings. Quick and friendly service! #fivestars

Yelp
Oh my goodness, what a gem this place is! My husband and I made a trip to the Villages for a vehicle purchase and I insisted we had to stop at a Cuban Bakery because I have yet to find a decent place in Jacksonville. My Yelp search for something north and somewhat not too far off our route home led us to Miramar Bakery. I planned ahead and brought a cooler intending to take items home to family in Jax. I purchased 7 guava & cheese pastries, 3 beef empanadas, 3 chicken empanadas, a dozen croquettes, 2 beef pastelitos, and 2 loaves of Cuban bread. Our total was $34 and change. So first of all, what a great price point - I was very surprised! We shared a guava pastry and each had a beef pastry for a mid morning snack before hitting the road. Both were deliciously fresh and super flaky. My car has the crumbs to prove it. When we got home, we warmed up our treats and shared with the fam. Everyone loved the guava and cheese pastry. It's flaky and not cloyingly sweet with a good ratio of guava to cheese filling. The beef empanadas were a tad more of a hit than the chicken, but both had good flavor and were crispy without being greasy. The croquettes were also good but pretty standard compared to others I've had. I also really enjoyed the Cuban bread. It was fresh with a slightly chewy crust and soft interior. I was so very tempted to buy one of every dessert because the case looked amazing, but decided against it due to our travel plans. Next time I'm in the Miami area, we will definitely be stopping by again.

Kenny L.

Yelp
F I N A L L Y a LEGIT Cuban bakery/take out north of Miami! I am so happy I finally found this hidden gem! I don't have to drive all the way down to Hialeah anymore lol! Omg I was in love. They had all the necessary Cuban delicacies and pastries. I went for breakfast and had the palomilla, two sunny side up eggs, toasted Cuban bread, house fries and Cuban coffee with milk (cafe con leche) - all for $8!!! So happy. The rest of my family ordered a traditional type of Cuban sandwich which was delicious and cheap ! I can't wait to go back and splurge! The ladies behind the counter were super nice. Parking is a bit rough so you may be circling. People were parking on the no parking curves lol. There's like no seating inside and two small tables outside with limited chairs so you will most likely eat standing up inside. You have to get ticket number and they will call you so that you may place your order. They will call you once your order is set. They give you your food in to go containers. Overall, the best and so happy this place exists. :) This is the three B's of Miami - Bueno, Bonito y Barato!!

Wendy K.

Yelp
First, we all love the run cake. Last year, 3 people in my household had their birthday cakes from this bakery. Each time, there was not a tiny piece left because the cake is moist, not very sweet, and tastes delicious. Second, every so often I buy and take empanadas and Cuban pastries to work and everyone loves them, I particularly like the cheese pastry. Third, I noticed that they have Caterering menus for any day of the week and for special occasion and holidays as well. I never hv tried their food, but I have seen people eating it and the food looks good. Fourth, they have fresh juice and of course, café con leche, cortadito, and colata. One can not just ignore the amazing strong Cuban Fifth, the bathroom was clean.

Mahrihel D.

Yelp
Great service and selection of pastelitos. Breakfast was very economic for the portions. The Cuban toast wasn't my favorite but I'm picky with that great atmosphere looks really nice inside. Keep up the good work

Cordelia A.

Yelp
My visit to MB was great! I popped in to get a quick bite before shopping (hangry shopping is the worse). I ordered 1 chicken empanada to go. The service was quick and friendly. The inside was bright, spacious, and all of the customers looked happy and looked like they were regulars. The empanada crust was crunchy and flavorful. It was fried but it was not oily. You could tell these empanadas were made fresh. The chicken inside definitely had the whole goldie locks sceniro (well seasoned, not too dry not too wet. Just right!) It was so great that after my shopping, I went back and ordered another one and a cheese pastry. I recommend this place if your into great empanadas. I will certainly be back to explore the menu. Stay hungry my fellow foodies!

Salvatore G.

Yelp
Staff is rude, food is passable but so is mcdonalds. Dining room is clean, with just enough seats.

Luz M.

Yelp
Ummmmm I guess because it's the only Cuban bakery in the area is why this place is so busy. We ordered: a breakfast that includes Scrambled eggs with ham, home fries, tostada cubana, and a coffee. It was OK. Coffee was bitter. I had the tortilla with ham and Swiss cheese on Cuban bread, also OK. We tried the cheese and guava pastelito was thin and also ok. The papa rellena was cold we had to ask for it to re heated also ok. In a nut shell the place is OK. Don't see myself coming back. Take a ride a little further west and enjoy Vickis bakery.

Jeanne J.

Yelp
Best bakery in Hollywood! The food is good or service is great and the price is very competitive

Chalaye P.

Yelp
Simple and delicious! All the bakery items looks yummy as well. Coffee was prob one of best I have had. Definitely will stop in when passing through Hollywood.

Laurie O.

Yelp
If you are Cuban or like Cuban food, this is the place to visit in Hollywood/Broward County! They have delicious croquetas. As a Miami native, I have searched for croquetas throughout Broward county and this is my favorite spot. They are crispy on the outside and full of filing on the inside. The staff is friendly as well. I have gotten them right out of the fryer several times as well, when they are extra tasty! I highly recommend this spot!

Heidi H.

Yelp
Get a grip people, At the end or beginning of your day " It's *JUST* a cup of coffee "! You know who You are-

N F.

Yelp
Pan con Lechon and steak sandwich were great. Tostones and flan cheesecake are also a must try. Service is fast too.

Thu L.

Yelp
From my experience, service was pretty quick and everyone was super nice and helpful. The area is a little small, so maybe eating here isn't the best option? They had a long counter/table inside where you could stand and eat and a few tables outside. The parking lot is a bit of a mess - there is some construction going on....so some areas are sectioned off, making parking a bit more difficult. As far as the food, I got 3 beef empanadas, 2 chicken empanadas, 1 spinach and cheese empanadas, and 2 guava and cheese pastries. They all tasted amazing! While chicken empanadas can be iffy for me, these were moist and flavorful. All of this set me back 14 and change. Not bad at all! Each empanada (huge) was $1.99. They also have a nice selection of coffee items as well as sandwiches and sides.
