Nov 1, 2025 – 3:45 PM: This is by far the most untrustworthy store I’ve visited in San Diego. I noticed that several packages—specifically all the Chitale bakarwadi packs on sale—had black stickers placed on top of the original labels, clearly seemed to have been done to manipulate the dates. When I went to check out at Counter 1, the cashier as usual asked if I found everything okay. I asked her why every box had these black stickers. She said she didn’t know and told me to speak to the store manager (whose name she said was “Deep,” though she didn’t know his last name). I took a photo of one of the boxes right in front of her, and she questioned me about taking a picture. I confirmed that I was indeed taking a pic and again she insisted I speak with the manager. I told her I don’t want to and left the box with her after paying for my other items. By the time I reached the store entrance and looked back, she had disappeared and the register light was turned off—clearly she went to talk to the manager. This is the same cashier who is usually at the billing counter (short, wears spectacles).Pretty confident she might have bluffed about the name of the manager too! Surprisingly this is not the first time I have found them do this .. couple of months back similar things was found with ragi flour ..

Clean, organized premises. Friendly, supportive team. Fresh affordable produce. Great, convenient ready foods and frozen vegetables. Spices galore. Always a satisfying, happy experience. If you are new to Indian foods and cuisine….It’s a fab educational experience.

Good selection of indian groceries, fresh veggies, snacks, pickles, sauces for various Indian dishes. Only complain I have is that the prices are high. Prices did not come down after Covid, and have increased again due to tariff. Due to lack of competition we continue to shop here.

Simply the best Indian Grocery Store of San Diego. The selection is huge, rates are competitive, great parking, One can have Darshan at neighbering Laxmi Venkateshwar and Saibaba temple using same parking.

Very huge Indian grocery store! Their are many different products available and so many snacks or farsans available, but the aisles are extremely narrow and the fresh produce section is like a small Black Friday! Too too many people and it’s very crowded and I have to walk all around to get vegetables ! The vegetable section is large but all compacted into small place so crowding always happens! Especially after 5 pm the store is crowded with everyone and no space for anyone and the check out stations are very full and extreme long lines! There is a good amount of old vegetables on the ground by produce section which makes it a bit unpleasant to buy groceries!

This store has a great selection of Indian food and Pakistani. The selection includes frozen goods and plenty of flours. Their skin section has good things as face masks, henna, lotions, to mention some. The produce looked fresh with affordable prices.

I found everything that I was looking for. One of the finest Indian grocery store in San Diego. Very well organized and maintained. Items are priced very reasonably. If you are looking for exotic indian raw vegetables (parwal, lauki (indian dudhi), ghiraula( galka), simi(black eye beans), karela, small taro), you can find it here. They also have a variety of frozen snacks, naan and parathas. You can also find several indian brand cosmetics, energy drinks, toothpaste, soaps, hair oil and so on. Also, they have steel cooking untensils and statues of God/Goddess. Do visit if you love Indian/nepalese or south asian food.

Huge selection of Indian products and produce. Lots of household items from India and surrounding countries. Very clean store very well organized. Prices are a bit higher than similar stores in the area. However, they certainly have a larger selection of food, goods, and household items than any other store in the area
