Miran Athens

Excellent meal - its at the back of the deli area, and has a quaint area for sitting. Wonderful staff and a really lovely boy serving us. We got the two person platter, some bread and a bottle of wine - very reasonably priced and generous serving of meats and cheeses in the platter. It's a fun, off-the-track place where you can also browse the deli as well as enjoy their speciality food while sitting in the cool. The deli meats, cheese and hummus we had as part of the platter were really yummy and unique - we got 5 different thinly sliced cured meats, two different hard cheeses and a smooth hummus - bread on the side to complete it. Highly recommend after/during wandering through the central market area for lunch.

Visually this place is amazing. The meats and spices hung up look more like art exhibition than a place you can eat. We ate at the restaurant in the back and it was amazing! The food was clearly prepared with intention and the flavors went so well together. There were combinations that I’ve never had before! The service was incredible as well!! We were well taken care of! If you’re looking for a place with great food and service then it’s here! I can’t recommend it more!!

Miran is a Greek deli on steroids with a restaurant. Literally packed to the rafters with a mind boggling array of meats, sausages, salami and every thing Greek. The array of delicious deli foods was amazing and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very authentic Greek and very cozy. Fabulous food, fabulous service , wonderful staff. We had to return several times.

Came for filling our stomachs with food, but got fantastic experience.Restaurant belongs for the same family more than 100 years and you can feel that owners care about and love their customers. Got more than we expected. Complimentary rakija was fantastic. And chalva. And snacks. Fire stars are not enough!!!!!

A great experience we stumbled across by accident. Out waiter was so fun! We enjoyed the charcuterie plate for 4. A nice selection of meat and cheese with some bread. Highly recommended!

Miran is an absolute gem! The wine was beautiful, and the meat and cheese platter was amazing—so fresh and flavorful. But what truly stood out was the service; the staff are absolutely beautiful people, so warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Athens. A must-visit! Also share plate we got was for 2 people, so much delicious food!

We an amazing meal at Miran in Athens! The antipasto for two was a perfect mix of delicious cheeses, cured meats, and olives. The standout was the soutsouki with eggs—spicy sausage and eggs in the best combo. Great service and a cozy vibe. Highly recommend!
