Mirch Dhamaka - Indian Restaurant, Cafe & Bar

Our flight got delayed so we ended up staying in the area for a night. Boy am I glad we did because we got to experience this incredible gem! The staff was incredible with menu options and recommendations. We opted for a goat dish on their specialty menu and the traditional butter chicken with some garlic naan. The portions are well sized, the naan was so good we placed 3 orders and the goat fell right off the bone. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful as well.

Great staff and very delicious food! The hospitality made us feel right at home, and every dish was full of authentic flavor. Honestly, it felt like being back in India — the food was just as good as what I’ve had there. A wonderful experience that I’d love to come back for again!

We had an amazing experience at Mirch Dhamaka in Herndon, VA! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance was vibrant yet cozy — perfect for a great evening out. We started with their refreshing signature mocktails and cocktails, which set the tone beautifully. The appetizers were packed with flavor — the ginger and garlic tossed cauliflower was a standout, along with the goat & pudhina seekh kebab, bhatti ka murgh, and tandoori paneer tikka. The main course truly stole the show. The Nizami Nalli Gosht was rich and tender, the Shahi Chicken Tak-a-Tak came sizzling on a hot tawa and was bursting with flavor, and the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani was aromatic and perfectly spiced. All of it paired perfectly with hot, fresh naan. To end the meal, we indulged in their beautifully presented Shahi Tukda and the Khumani ka Meetha — both desserts were unique and delicious. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Indian food with a modern twist. We’ll definitely be back!

We went in for late lunch and few days back. Yeh staff was super friendly and helped us to make our orders. We started with chicken manchow soup which was flavorful and spicy but we loved it. For the starters we had Chicken buhari which had perfectly cooked chicken with the apt spices to our taste. For the main course we had Rogan mutton Josh with bullet naan. Overall it was a bit expensive according to the portions but we had a good time!

Liked their food. Fine dining does not have all the options (south Indian food) and went to the other side. The person who served us is nice and enjoyed our time there.

Amazingly delicious food, presentation and ambience. The service was on top of their game! Definitely check them out if you want mouth savoring flavorful indian food! Best manchow chicken soup & lamb biryani I have had in a very long time! Cant wait to go back for a breakfast dosa!

We ordered all vegetarian items. Chaas, paneer item, spicy aalu side dish, garlic naan, veg hakka noodles, and rasmalai. I was satisfied with each item. This is probably the first time in a long while that I was NOT disappointed by at least one ordered item. Our server also smelled good. The other server was polite with a smile. The silverware used was good quality, which is important for my dining experience. Overall, this is a rare occurrence when i am ranking a full 5 stars to a restaurant.

On the outside it is deceiving on a side of Gaint shopping center! It is a kind of medium scaled restaurant. Staffs are well mannered as well as skillfully running the place. I come here multiple times but never despondent you can customize on your order just ask and you will get it specially when you want to spicy 🌶️. One more thing they do have a mini bar too!
