Goes above and beyond! I had my fist Collagen boosting Therapy by ProCell with Mireille and she instantly made me feel at home. I've previously had micro needling done in Europe and i can truly say this was one of my best experiences. I felt very looked after and my skin have never looked better (two days after). I immediately booked my next appointment and I'm super excited to continue this journey to improve my skin.

For the past three years, I’ve been going to Mirna, and she’s been a total game changer ever since. I used to struggle with strawberry skin on my legs, but her treatments seriously leveled up my skin game. And my brows? Mirna laminated and reworked them to perfection with her killer recommendations—they’re still on point! I see her every month; it’s become a must-have ritual.

I absolutely enjoyed my two past experiences with two different estheticians within the past several months. I do however need to be incredibly honest about these experiences so that I can give my best feedback. I celebrated part of my birthday here in July and received a very relaxing oxygenation facial at a 15% discount for a half hour treatment. After the services though the site right by my problematic nose piercing did become inflamed a few days later so it could be the products got stuck in my pore. My esthetician on that date was incredibly sweet and upbeat. I think my skin is just extremely sensitive to certain oils so it was my body's reaction and you may not experience anything like me. Also the owner offered me a 15% discount on sunscreen which was an incredible value. You should definitely think about making purchases on your favorite products on your birthday here 🍰 Yesterday I went to Miryam and let her know I'm on a tight budget and would love a shorter version of the microdermabrasion session. She prepped my skin first with an oil based cleanser from dermalogica then used a crystal wand on my skin that felt extremely rough and spiky which my skin wasn't used to. She explained she had it on its highest setting and apologized to me. She took it down a notch and everything was fine. I wish she had spent more time with the dermabrasion machine though because it felt like it was over pretty quickly before she used a collagen mask and left me in the room alone for approximately 10 minutes. I do wish she had suggested a chemical peel upgrade but perhaps the price for a chemical peel of any kind as an add on is pricey. My only complaint is my forehead still felt rough after the treatment was over and even though this was an abbreviated treatment it would have been nice to have more of an afterglow affect on my skin. I had hoped that my forehead would feel much smoother after the treatment but honestly it didn't. I'm extremely grateful that this spa has shorter versions of their services available to meet every budget. I do think though that I will perhaps give more advanced notice so that I can request a longer service and work with Mireille one on one based on all the wonderful ratings she receives from her repeat guests. This morning I'm applying an intense AHA peeling solution to my skin to boost the results from yesterday's mini microdermabrasion session. I'm almost certain that if I had chosen a peel after the microdermabrasion mini treatment that my skin would have glowed more. Do your research and ask your esthetician what the cost of an upgraded peel will cost because it will definitely enhance your results. My feedback is fair and honest because I absolutely wish my esthetician had spent more time using the microdermabrasion machine on me. It felt like the machine itself was only on for 10 to 12 minutes at the most before the mask was placed on my skin. The spa space itself is incredibly immaculate and cozy. Moving forwards though I would love to request a longer service from Mireille if she has room in her schedule for new clients. I leave this review in deep gratitude 🙏 and hope my feedback helps

Just started going to Mireilles studio for my brow lamination and tinting. Mirna did an amazing job and was meticulous. My brows are normally sparce and uneven. I’m so happy with the results! Going back tomorrow for a facial with Miryam!

Excellent customer experience from beginning to end. My makeup artist Mirna was very knowledgeable and included me in every step of the application! She was also very personable she made me feel comfortable right away. The studio space the mirror and lighting provided different hues which helped in knowing what the makeup would look like beyond the space. I received compliments on my makeup all night! I attended a two hour photoshoot with multiple outfit changes, a candlelight musical experience, dinner, and a quick outfit change to end the night at a club for a few hours. The makeup lasted flawlessly for 12 hours through all of that!! I found myself not wanting to wash it off after getting in from all of our events. It was after midnight actually after one am when I did take it off and it looked just as good as it did when it was initially applied! Since this was my first visit to the Studio and I had such a great experience I will be returning to the to try other services!!

Just had my first chemical peel and lash lift here and wish I had done it sooner! My skin looks fabulous and my eyes don’t look tired anymore! Love the studio and the staff! So pleased!

I'm the kind of person who has naturally thick eyebrows and I'm picky about what people do to them. I'm used to plucking at home because I like keeping them thick and have found most people over-wax them. I decided to try Mireille's Studio for a clean up one day as I live nearby and my brows desperately needed it. My eyebrows are the best they've ever looked after coming here and now I'm hooked. I've seen both Tonya and Mirna for my eyebrows and they are both artists! Worth every penny.

Mireille saved my skin a few years ago. I cannot recommend her or anyone in her studio enough!! They all understand skin, how to read your skin, do what is best for you in the moment, and have amazing product recommendations. Recently I have been open to trying new things (I guess bridal experiments!) I trust Tonya with any facial or true deep cleansing of the skin! I sent her my fiancé that has pores around nose area, and now he is hooked on facials, smaller pores, and clean skin! Mirna, my queen of all facial hair! She did an amazing combination eyelash lift tint and brow lamination + facial!! It was right before a long trip, and it was perfect. She recommended derma exfoliation and I wasn't ready at the time, but I came back and she was walked me through the process. I had amazing derma exfoliation, my first ever lip wax (long time waiting,) and calming facial. Prepping to be glowing a bride & groom and then some with Mireille's Studio!!

Absolutely love all three of the experiences I've had here with Mirna! My skin has been completely upgraded in the 3 months since I first visited. Everyone is so kind and the guidance I've been given for maintenance between facials has made all the difference. Highly recommend!

I took a makeup lesson with Mireille and can't recommend it enough. She of course is extremely knowledgeable and a professional at her craft, but she is also a patient, encouraging teacher and a just an overall lovely human. She explained things so well, answered all my questions and showed me makeup isn't intimidating. It was so convenient to be able to purchase from her the exact products we used and now I have a solid foundation of techniques and tools. Highly recommend!

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. I've been getting facials here since I moved to Chicago 6 years ago. It is a darling place on the 3rd floor of a building on Oak Street. It's such an oasis up there that you would never know a bustling street lies below. As I've gotten older, I've been seeing Tanya every 4-6 weeks and cannot say enough great things about her and her work. She is a such wonderful person and a skilled esthetician. I always look (and feel!) incredible after my appointments! I saw her every 3-4 weeks for the year leading up to my wedding and my skin was absolutely INCREDIBLE.

Yesterday, I had a hands-on make-up lesson from Mireille. I have wanted to do this for so long and with COVID, there was a good 15 month delay. Once I was fully vaccinated, I made an appointment and was really excited. I was not let down whatsoever. Mireille had me bring my current make-up and brushes and thoroughly went through everything. What I appreciated is that she didn't just give her opinion. She asked what I used and how I used them to gauge what my routine is. Then, after discussing, she offered her opinions and why. I really appreciated the segue. Once we narrowed down the best products and tools, we got started....but, she didn't just start applying, she used her own similar tools and make-up on her own face, doing a full explanation/demo and then I repeated on myself while she watched and assisted. I'm a visual learner so it was incredibly helpful. I've watched YouTube tutorials but you absolutely cannot replicate a hands-on experience from someone like Mireille via video. She was trained in France and has been in Chicago for years. We're lucky to have her here! My biggest concern was my over-plucked 90's era eyebrows. During COVID I left them alone but realized they aren't going to grow in the way they were in my 20's/30's so I had started using women's Rogaine and told Mireille that. Immediately, she went to her products (she's also known for her eyebrows sculpting) and gave me something to use - said it would work so well, that in 6-8 weeks, come back and she would sculpt. My other main concern was my small lips. I tend to highlight my eyes and try to deflect attention from my lips. She showed me how to use a lip pencil to slowly build and make them appear larger (naturally) - even with a darker color which has always made me uncomfortable, despite the fact that I LOVE deeper pigments. I loved the final result and it was so unusual for me to look into the mirror and say, "Wow, beautiful." But I still felt uncomfortable with my lips since I tend to try and hide behind my eyes. I took a selfie and sent to my niece who is a totally beauty guru and the first thing she said was, "I love the lip shade she chose, what a stunning shade." So, the fact that she went right to the area I tend to ignore thrilled me. Anyways, it doesn't matter what your age, Mireille is brilliant. I'm so grateful what she's done for my confidence at this point in my life and I look forward to my future appointments. Oh, and side note...she's so close with her clients, it's like a family in there. They stop in, show her where they're at, everyone starts talking. It was just a wonderful experience.

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday to see Mireille for a facial. I finally was able to make an appointment with the Covid situation. It was amazing! I have tried facials in various countries and I was impressed with Mireille's technique. My face feels so clean and fresh. I also want to go and have my make-up done. Thumbs up! Loretta

Went in for brows...totally new growth strategy which is panning out perfectly! Ended up staying for a facial and leaving with great products including a night cream and tinted moisturizer which ended up to be perfect for my skin. Super relieved to find this place. And for the location and quality of services, the prices are truly unbelievable! And Mireille, herself, personally trains each employee. Everyone I talked to was raving about someone different...sounds like they are all gold.

Cant say enough good things about this place. Worth every $. People are extremely kind and professional. I started seeing Meredith for facials and treatments and she has been a life savior. I have text Meredith several times with concerns about breakouts/ skin reactions and she has been extremely helpful guiding me to find the right solution. During Covid, my skin started to break out, I texted some photos to Meredith and the studio delivered an acne gel that became my best friend. I strongly recommend you make this place part of your skin care routine. You won't regret it!

As a esthetics student, I think and reflect on the facial I had here the past fall a lot, and I have thought about writing the review for a while- and now that I've passed my tests for school, received many facials, given many facials, I can say in no way do I recommend this salon for a facial for anyone, bottom line. About 6 months ago I came here for my first professional facial of my life. The esthetician greeted me in a rushed manner, and told me to undress and she came back in and asked me one question about my skin- what I wanted it to look like. She didn't ask me about any allergies, what my skin was like, anything. Thinking that was odd, I brushed it off assuming during the skin analysis she would be asking me questions. So, during the removal of my eye-makeup (simple mascara, I was getting a facial) she was tugging pretty hard and in a rushed manner. Not only did I say she was pulling but I had mentioned that I had contacts on, maybe to hint at the idea that she was hurting me, nope- she kept pulling and tugging on my eye area. During the skin analysis she didn't give me goggles, and held he mag lamp VERY close to my eye area, I expressed to her that it was very bright and I couldn't really stand the light and she told me "it's fine, it's just going to be here for a second" I wish I could break down what she did for me during the cleanse treat and moisturize part of the facial, but she didn't even tell me, she just put things on Willy Nilly not explaining a thing. When she placed a mask or serum (again, I'm not sure- she explained nothing) on my skin, it burnt bad, not like a slight burn (I have given and received many peels since then while in school, nothing has felt quite like that product ) she said "it's supposed to burn, it's fine, and fanned my face with a fan. I told her once more it burned and I wanted it removed and she sighed and kept fanning. The extractions I'll never forget because I have a scar on my chin from where she was trying to extract, very very painfully. She also had the steam entirely too close to my face. Long story short, could have been an off day for the esthetician but I would go somewhere else. I don't remember her name though, she had long brown hair.

I had a facial done with Mireille about a year ago and it was great! Very thorough, and my face was glowing afterwards! She recommended a hydrating mask from the PCA line and I've been using it as she recommended. It's been perfect when traveling! Thank you Mireille!

Mireille is the best! I love the look of her shop and the location is fabulous. She really has worked wonders on my skin and I will go nowhere else for eyebrows and waxing!

Mireille is a French beauty and miracle worker. Her energy is so peaceful and warm. She has a motherly way of soothing not only the skin but a person! She knows everything about skin, diet and stress. She's so smart and healing. It's a relaxing experience to be with her. She made my skin feel deliciously hydrated and glow. I have always struggled with mild acne my whole life and what products work well with my skin, etc - including having a mixed skin type of dry cheeks and oily t-zone. I have tried numerous over the counter products, many expensive trips to the dermatologist and prescription grade medication and nothing ever has done the trick. I was introduced to Mireille through a co-worker and started going to her consistently, primarily driven by my upcoming wedding. Mireille has completely changed my skin and I will never NOT go to her. She was able to extract, and keep away, pesky milia, suggested great products that truly do work and also creates an extremely relaxing environment at the same time. I highly recommend Mireille for a treat yourself facial, but more importantly if you're looking to transform your skin and learn about clean/beneficial products. She is worth the price tag and she's the best!

Mireille's Studio is absolutely fantastic! After getting my eyebrows waxed by Mireille a couple of times I asked her thought on Microblading. I've been wanting to do it for months and was so pleased to hear they offered this service there. She told me all about her amazing esthetician, Rita, who does microblading and showed me some photos of her work. Mireille even had Rita do her eyebrow and they look on point!! I made the appointment for one week later and I'm sooo happy I did. Rita was sweet, professional, and meticulous. She took 45 minutes to exactly measure everything on my face so my eyebrows are symmetrical and perfect. She even has an app on her phone to take a photo and double check everything before she begins. She did a great job of making sure the experience was pleasant and even provided a blanket for me to get warm and cozy in while she went to work on my brows. They turned out AMAZING! Microblading is truly a game changer. I highly recommend getting it done and you MUST go to Rita at Mireille's Studio!!!

Let me tell you the three secrets to a painless brazilian bikini wax 1. Have them use hard wax, such a more pleasant experience. 2. Take some advil beforehand. 3. Lastly, and most importantly, get it done here! You wont be disappointed.

Ok, so it's one thing to be pushing 30 and feel young at heart, it's another thing to be pushing 30 and look like someone rode you hard. So...I'd never had a facial in my life, but after seeing the Pretty City spa deal for microdermabrasion and a mini-facial for $59, I decided what the hell. Now, one of the main reasons I've never had a facial before is because my skins sucks. I know because I have to look at it in the mirror every damn day. I know there's a breakout here and there, that I have sun damage, blah, blah, blah. And I don't need to hear how bad it is in an exaggerated attempt to make me buy crazy amounts of product or sign up for a thousand dollar spa package. I'm looking at you crazy Macy's counter chicks and various crappy spas. End rant. Back to Mireille's. My facial from Shellie was perfect - felt great, had amazing results, and there was no crazy redness or irritation afterwards. Also, there was no sales pressure to buy products, just the suggestion of three simple products, and a list to take home with me. Of course I've already bought a few and they have been A+. Also, another thing I love here is how small and intimate this place is. Everyone is super friendly and nice. I switched up one of my treatments when I was there, totally last second, and they were super accomodating. Oh, and did I mention my stupid ass forgot to leave Shellie a tip. Oh yeah, I had to do both the phone call and walk of shame the next day - and I believe Julie was there when I dropped it off. She couldn't have been nicer, told me not to worry about it, and left my vm for Shellie to hear. And better yet, Shellie actually left me a vm to let me know she got everything I left for her. Super cool. Oh, and I love how you've got your own private treatment room. No more changing in a huge locker room then praying to god you don't flash everyone while you're half naked and trying to find your room in a hallway of twenty doors. Anways, long story short, I'm really happy with everything here. I've been back for a number of other treatments since my facial, and all of them have been top notch. I even bought a package I was so impressed with the place - and the results have been totally worth it. If I keep this up I know my ass will be able to pass for 25 in no time ;)

Officially the best wax experience I have ever had! I've been going to Cleise for almost 2 years but have not been happy with them the last couple of times (cost, location, results) so thanks to Yelp I tried Mireille's last night....Julie was absolutely fabulous - she has a great technique, is very professional and super nice! The B-wax w/ hard blue wax was quick, thorough and practically painless. Eyebrows were also great - I'm very picky about shape and she took the time to listen to my past experiences, what I wanted done, etc. It's also comforting when the person doing your brows has perfect ones! I chatted w/ Mireille on my way out - she was super nice and the whole place is very welcoming. She does Oprah's brows so you know they are good. I already made my next appointment!

I had a B-wax and eyebrow done here and the B-was was great. I've had this done at tons of other places and this was probably the least painful experience. It took a while b/c of the hard wax but worth it if it means reducing the pain. They really know how to use the hard wax and they get every little hair for you so you don't have any clean up for when you get home. I had my eyebrow waxing done for the first time here and it was good but $30 is very steep I think. I'll try it out a few more times and if I see amazing results, I prob. will stick with this place. Small space, very friendly staff and cozy environment.

I love Mireille recently i went there the first time using a popsugar coupon for make up class, mireille was my instructor and she was as patient as you can imagine her to be I have to admit i really suck at make up and she was able to break down the process so simply for me (tips and wrote down notes for me) and now i actually am not afraid to do my own eye make up . The best part is she created looks for me using products i already have she didn't try to up sell anything or pressure me into buying any products and i felt very comfortable there can't wait to go back there and learn more tips!

I feel a little guilty for cheating on my regular waxer Marie at Benefit. I wanted to branch out so I searched the Yelps for help. I noticed on my bookmarked list that I saved Mireille's almost three years ago. What took me so long?! I called to book an appointment, and two days later I'm a happy customer. From the moment I checked-in, Julie took good care of me. She made me feel at home and definitely took her time to make sure everything looked fine to my liking. Waxing? Pshhhawww. I barely felt a thing...ok, maybe a little bit but nothing to cry into my pillow later. Not that I cry into my pillow often or anything... Waxing services are a little pricy than I'd normally go for, but I thought the service was fine and dandy. So dandy in fact, that I'm coming back soon for an upcoming mini-facial appointment using a coupon I found on www.chicagobeauty.com (Pretty City). PS: They're open past 5 on weekdays. It's nice to have that option when you can't make it during the day or on Saturdays.

Mirelle is truly the BEST make up artist I've been to & I've been to many in the 40 plus years I've been wearing make-up! Not only does she have a great eye for which colors are best for you but she teaches you how to apply them, step by step. She has you do it right then and there. She has you bring all your make up and tools and shows you how to use all of it & doesn't push you at all to buy her makeup but just simply suggests what you really need to add to what you already have. In addition, her mineral based line is really awesome so when you do add to your own collection, you are getting really great quality! She was a make up artist for Oprah & she's amazing!

There's some things in life you don't try and get a bargain on. You pay what you need to pay to maintain a certain quality of life. Things I will not compromise on: Produce in the winter (I won't buy crappy looking/tasting produce, even if it means paying through the nose at Whole Foods) Trash bags (deal with a trash bag explosion down a flight of stairs and you will agree with me) and Bikini waxes I am not going to let some random, under-qualified person come at me with hot wax because I got a "deal". My normal joint is Wax by Eva, but she was on vacation when I needed some waxin'. Yelp to the rescue! I found Mireille's, which was close to my work and highly rated. A waxin' we went. I showed up a little early for my appointment and was greeted by Julie. Super nice. We went into the back room and got down to business. I don't get people who say "LOL THAT WAX DIDN'T EVEN HURT SRSLY." You are lying or you are on drugs. It hurts. You are ripping hair out of the root. That said, it's a very temporary pain and if you wax consistently, the pain gets exponentially easier to deal with. Julie was fast and thorough. The price is steeper than other places in town, but it's a nice ambience, they do a really good job and are really personable.

I love going to the dentist. You may suffer a bit of pain (chapped lips, anyone?) but you leave feeling super clean and shiny - well worth it. I equate my experience of brow waxing at Mireille's with the dentist. Just as you must prep for the dentist (extra flossing - so you can say that you floss religiously), you should prep your eyebrows if it's your first time. I was scared to go to someone again after that person left me little of my eyebrows years ago. Before you go, make sure you let your eyebrows grow out - don't touch them (it's painful, I know, but the rewards outweigh the price you pay). That way Julie (she's fantastic!) can start from scratch and reshape your brows. If you're coming back from eyebrow hell, you should visit every three weeks. After 2-3 times, Julie said I should be able to maintain the shape for longer since it was all set. I won 't come every month any more, but maybe every other? This is one of those places that you only tell your closest friends about, because you don't want them to book up! Oh - and no one usually answers the phone so just leave a very detailed message and they have a very fast response time.

Yelpers...thanks for the recommendation! I decided to try Mireille's Studio based upon all the 5 star reviews. Now I am delighted to add 5 stars of my own! I went for a brazilian/eyebrow wax before a vacation, and the experience was just fantastic (and who really uses the words, "fantastic" and "brazilian" in the same sentence?). I saw Julie, and I gotta tell you, this girl is nothing short of a doll. She is extremely nice and genuine. I really can't stress enough that waxing experiences, especially bikini wax experiences, require a kind individual to make the client feel at ease. Julie is such person and by the time the wax was over I really wanted to be her friend! The studio itself is tiny...one little couch that overlooks Oak Street and then there are two TINY waxing/facial rooms. This studio is small, but there are never more than 4 people there at the same time, so it's a great place to go if you don't want to be bombarded by a bunch of other peeps. I used a Pretty City promotion, and Mireille also had a promotion going, so after my service Julie was sitting there with a calculator trying to figure out which promo would be better for me, to give me the most money off. How awesome is that! Really, I can't say enough good things about the girl. For those waxing experts, Mireille's Studio uses two kinds of wax: hard wax and strip wax. You can pick whichever you prefer. I would recommend Mireille's Studio, and Julie, to anyone looking for a great wax!

Went here for a wax and although the end result was nice, the process was disappointing, especially for the price. The whole wax took almost an hour, which is ridiculous. Usually it takes less than 15 minutes. Also, it was a lot more painful than other waxes I've had. The woman, Julie, was very nice, but the experience was a bust. I won't go here again.

I got a facial from Maryam this week, and it was absolutely wonderful. I've been getting facials 1x/month for almost 2 years at the same salon in Boston, but I decided to go to Mireille's because I'm on the road for a while and didn't want my skin to suffer. If you see Maryam for a facial here, you will definitely leave feeling soothed and with smoother, more vibrant skin than when you entered. About the facial itself: -It includes a paraffin wax treatment for your hands, with heated gloves to maximize the benefits of the paraffin treatment -The bed is heated and super comfy -A variety of products will be used, and I believe it varies by skin type. On me, I believe Maryam used a pre-cleansing oil, a foaming cleanser, an exfoliator, and some sort of mixture that included salicylic acid (sorry this is imprecise - I have a bad memory and don't remember all of the answers she gave to my questions!) From the moment I walked in the door, Maryam made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She explained what the treatment would consist of and consulted me on what I viewed as my problem areas and wanted her to focus on. She helped me get a better understanding of my skin (and what is causing some of the things I don't like, such as flakiness from not moisturizing properly), but without making me feel pressured to buy anything. Because I actually was in the market for some new skincare products, I did end up asking Maryam for recommendations, and so far am very pleased with the products she recommended. I will definitely make it a point to ONLY get my Chicago facials from Maryam at Mireille's Studio in the future. Highly recommend!

Mirelle is an eyebrow genius! After over a year only getting my eyebrows done when I was back in DC, I realized it was time to find a salon in Chicago. While my brows were okay, they needed a professional touch. At my first appointment Mirelle made me promise that I would stop tweezing them myself let them grow in more fully. The difference I've seen in less than eight weeks is amazing. My brows look better than they ever have and its all thanks to Mirelle. I highly recommend her and I've had great experiences with other staff members as well.

Pain what pain? Yup....just like that. I did the Pretty City promotion so I got a Brazilian for $31(great deal, huh?). It was my first time and I was really scared...'cause I'm a baby about pain to begin with and have never even had a bikini wax!!! (I know, I know, I have been missing out). I read the reviews beforehand so I felt as comfortable as I could going in. I took Advil beforehand and that probably helped. I like Oak street to begin with and the salon is on the 3rd floor. It's very cute and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. Shellie was running a little bit late, but it was not a big deal and I had a nice conversation with Julie. Both of them are super nice and friendly. Shellie knew it was my first time and she made me feel VERY comfortable. They use the sensitive hard wax and I think that makes a HUGE difference. I was scared and even brought my own little towel to bite on, so I wouldn't scream (I said I was a baby about pain didn't I?). To my surprise it was completely tolerable and no more painful then getting your legs waxed, seriously. I had psyched myself up for excruciating pain and was happily disappointed! :) Shellie was really great and we talked the whole time which took my mind off of what she was doing. It was just an overall great experience and I will certainly be back again!!

Amazing- Wax, facial, brow shape, make up. . . you name it! Mimi and her team are the best in the business. Trusting your face and other body parts to a groupon or the random nail salon that waxes "too" is just plain asking for it. Mimi's extensive experience shines through with her no-nonsense way of telling you what you need, if you ask, she will deliver, honestly.

There is simply no place better in this city for waxing and facials than Mirielle's studio. I have been a client now for a few years. Mirielle works her magic and has transformed my brows from unruly to flattering. I also get my eyelashes tinted-painless and actually relaxing! I love this service because I can go without mascara. No matter who you book for services, the entire staff is excellent. I would not trust my face to anyone else. Best of all, there is no hard sell of products, but they do sell Dermatologica which I think is a great range. Mirielle and staff are always charming, professional and on-time. Love it!

I tried Mireille during the Yelp promo. a brazilian bikini for $30. YES. They use hard wax which I am a GREAT fan off, Julie did a great job, she was extremely professional and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. it was done in a jiffy and very neat. I am a big fan and would go here more often if I had the money. Its a tad more expensive than my regular $45. I think its $65 here. Ouch.

Smoooooth. Obviously it hurts but not quite as bad as it could and it is pricey but I have spent more on less great things. THIS is great!

The first time I went here was 8+ years ago. I was a consistent bikini wax client until I stopped working in the area. In the past couple years I have tried other places and I can honestly tell you: NOTHING COMPARES. Mireille's is THE BEST. I recently retuned before a beach vacation and I now know it is worth my time and effort to come down to Oak Street for waxing services. The comfortable, professional environment, the quality and attention to detail, and the reasonable pricing make it well worth it. Julie is excellent, the whole team is top-notch.

I've been coming here for years to get my 'brows done and I've had a great result every time. I'm not fussy so I've booked with every stylist- they are all brilliant & skilled at what they do. I came on the recommendation of my Sister and my Mom comes here as well- Mireille and her staff are so friendly and welcoming, I wouldn't go anywhere else! You can find a meter on the street if you don't mind walking 4 or 5 blocks, otherwise, the garage is your best bet if you don't mind paying for it or, even better, public transport.

love love love this place! I am big on eyebrow waxing and stay loyal to my waxer. I used to go to exhale but they kept upping their price and last time i went it was 30 bucks. I go once a month and I just thought that was outrageous. Then I went to mario on michigan for about a year and went to gabby. she always did a great job but insulted the nursing profession (i am a nursing student) saying she hopes her daughter does something more with her life than just be a nurse, knowing i am a nursing student. I was so offended that I stopped going to her. I was so lost for a good eyebrow wax when the woman I babysit for suggested seeing Mireille because she used to go to her when she lived in the city. Shelly saved me! I have gone a few times now and every time I end up with great eyebrows! I am getting a Brazilian next week so we'll see how that goes but I am very happy I found this place. Its small and intimate and everyone there is so friendly and warm.

Mirelle is amazing! I came here for an eyebrow tweeze and my eyebrows had never looked so good! She did a great job in shaping them and not making them too thin. Two days later I came back to have my bridal makeup done! Again she did a fabulous job. I am really not the best with make-up and I often feel I look like a clown when it is done. But Mirelle did such a great job and I felt incredible! The make-up even lasted throughout the entire night, even with all the dancing. Overall, great service and real quality!

I also took advantage of the Yelp promo and am I glad I did! I actually wasn't planning to write a review until I saw one from Sony saying she wasn't happy with her brazilian wax experience. I had a brazilian with Julie also and not only was she a very sweet person, she was extremely professional, quick and thorough. I must agree with others that it didn't hurt as much and 8 weeks later, I have had no ingrown hairs and still sparse hair. I didn't give it 5 stars because parking sucks on Oak St!

I have nothing but good things to say about Julie. My gosh, she makes me look and feel like a new woman every time I see her. She by far does the BEST eye brows in Chicago. She is a perfectionist and won't let me leave until every hair is perfectly in place. I refuse to go to anyone else...ever. She's also my "skin doctor" and she is the one who cleared my acne for good. She told me my skin was so dry that she could barely do extractions during a facial because nothing could come to the surface. I was suffering from painful cystic acne because I kept piling on topical creams that was unknowingly drying up my skin. I listened to Julie and took a break from the topical creams and started to moisturize. My skin has never looked better thanks to Julie!

Best brows in Chicago hands down. I found Mireille by googling 'best brows in Chicago' about 5 years ago. I've gone a few months here and there not coming either too distracted with work, or trying to find a cheap place near my home. I then look at pictures taken and wonder what seems different... it's my beautifully worked on brows that is missing! Mireille's brow waxing is the best I've ever had. Get so many compliments on my brows after I visit. Compared to all other places I've tried throughout my life she is far above the rest in talent. If you want fantastic brows, come here. Worth every penny.

I visited this studio and was told by a woman who works for the actual owner that my mild to moderate post acne hyperpigmentation could not be resolved and that I look older than 20 and will also age faster than everyone else ( how this rude comment was necessary to my treatment I don't know). Obviously, to a 20-year-old this seemed fairly pessimistic since my discoloration is not too severe compared to other skin conditions such as ice pick scars for example. I will never return nor do I recommend this studio for POC with any discoloration issues. After visiting other institutions and being told that several chemical peels could resolve most if not all of my dark marks on my AA skin I'm confused on how this woman was even hired.

Mireille's Studio is the one and only place I go to have my eyebrows done - no one else comes close. No joke, I spent six months living away from Chicago and waited the whole time until I got back before I had them done. The quality of the services is absolutely top-tier, and worth full accolades by itself; but the ambience is also wonderful. It's sunny, cozy and utterly charming, with really nice little touches like infused water for you to drink while you wait. The staff is warm and friendly but always professional. Coming here feels like a little spa vacation and I can't recommend it enough.

I went here for the first time this week for a braz. It was way more comfortable than any I have had in the past--even at equally pricey establishmets. I love the hard wax. My technician was great, made me as comfortable as possible. I mean, waxes are never fun but it was definitely the best I've had. I went for a promotion and I'll definitely be back! love it!

Mireille's Studio is amazing. I have gone to Meredith to get my eyebrows waxed and eyelash lift/tints and have been very impressed every time. I go to Maryam for facials and she always takes her time doing a very thorough job each time. My skin has gotten so much better since I have been going to Maryam. The products they use at Mireille's Studio are high quality. I highly recommend going here!

I haven't been here in a while but I'm giving it two stars because I found another place that didn't make me feel bad for being big. The waxer at Mirelle was great but the owner told me in front of other patrons that I had to come in ten minutes earlier because it takes more time to wax me. At first it made sense to me but then I went to Bare Glow Spa with Francisca who takes 25 minutes on me (and way less expensive). She told me it's the job of an establishment to make you feel comfortable in an already vulnerable position and I realized she was right.

Julie is the best is the city!!! In preparation for my wedding this summer, I grew out my eyebrows and decided to try Mireille's Studio. I had some terrible experiences in the past, so I have been waxing my own eyebrows for some time, and I knew they could use a little professional TLC. I was so in love with the way my eyebrows looked that I went to see Julie every other week before the wedding. I have cut down now to every 3-4 weeks, and I still look forward to getting them waxed by Julie. She is such a doll and I love catching up with her every time I come to see her! Just remember to leave a detailed message when you call to make an appointment. The studio is a small space and there is not anyone available to monitor the phones all day. But you will always have a prompt phone call back.

My first visit with Mireille's Studio was a fabulous experience with Shelley. Today I had an appt. scheduled with Julie. The client before me was late, hence delayed my appointment. I understand circumstances beyond the control of the spa happen, after all is wasn't her fault. However she was upset with ME because I couldn't wait.. I didn't know I was supposed to be on her schedule, I'm the client. I also didn't know it will be held against me for rescheduling MY appointment when it's convenient for me? Julie felt the need to leave me a scathing voicemail message indicating how upset SHE was that I had left; mentioning that she won't charge me... Charge me for what? Oh and she's putting a note in my chart? I put a note in my head to never go to or recommend Mireille's again. Sorry Julie my boss just won't understand why I needed to take more than an hour due to someone else being late for their appointment. I don't have that flexibility. I have NEVER, ever been treated so disrespectfully by someone who provides a service. No apology, but she called me to express HER frustration.
