So glad I found this hidden gem in north county for a well crafted cocktail. Loving the speakeasy lounge vibes, and the library room was the best spot in the house. I appreciate the dog friendly patio, complimentary games, and live music that tied in everything for a great night out. The option to order food is also very convenient. The staff was very welcoming and shout out to Jeremy for making some delicious drinks! I definitely recommend the Lychee chi chi, blood runs cold, and crime of passion! I will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere, great food, and amazing drinks! Best vodka I've ever had, made right here. And vinyl night Thursdays just adds to the wonderful environment. Stay is fun to talk to and knowledgeable with the food and drink. Highly recommend a visit.

Jeremy, our bartender, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and truly skilled. I started the night with their signature El Niño cocktail, a refreshing and flavorful choice, and finished with the bold and perfectly balanced 40 Thieves. The atmosphere captures an authentic 1920s speakeasy vibe with a charming mid-1900s twist, making it the perfect spot for a classy night out. While I didn’t try the food this time, the beautifully plated dishes I saw looked absolutely mouthwatering. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this unique gem for a girls night. Think cozy, vintage decor, retro clothes, and bartenders in suspenders (shoutout Jeremy)! We ordered crime of passion, blood runs cold, and lychee chi chi which were all so good! The staff are so friendly, thank you Crystal for being so attentive and taking great care of us! If you’re hungry they have a good selection of apps, and entrees. Best of all, a dog-friendly patio, live music, and games. Definitely coming back!

This lounge is an absolute hidden gem! The atmosphere feels like stepping into a warm and rustic retreat, cozy, inviting, and full of charm. The music is outstanding, with authentic country folk vibes that make you feel right at home. Bartender Jeremy is incredibly welcoming and makes the whole experience even better with his friendly personality and great service. The staff overall is attentive and kind, making the night feel personal and relaxed. Perfect spot to unwind, enjoy live music, and soak up an intimate, welcoming setting. Definitely, I’ll be coming back!

We had the best drinks and being able to listen vinyl while having a drink was so much fun, thanks to Jeremy for making these drinks. Gonzalo made this amazing beeria smoked brisket dip. The meat was so tender. The atmosphere is so relaxing. We also had the flatbread and it was delicious. You have got to try this place. We will be back!

Absolutely incredible appetizers and unique blend of cocktails with their craft vodka. Service is excellent and we enjoyed the pet friendly patio our vizsla on another beautiful day in SoCal.

Misadventures is an exceptional find in Vista. Approaching the venue, you'll notice beautiful bistro tables, Edison bulbs, cozy lanterns, and an overall charming exterior that hints at the experience awaiting inside. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a stunning bar and friendly staff. To the left, there's a cabinet stocked with various games you can take to your table. The establishment is cozy, with warm, dim lighting that creates an intimate atmosphere. One of my favorite areas features dark red velvet couches, heavy drapery, two armchairs, a fireplace, and a poetic quote on the ceiling. I love that they offer not only physical menus but also leather-engraved barcodes for online viewing. At Misadventures, they craft their own cocktail mixtures and distill their own vodka, which they sell. Typically, I enjoy a traditional Old Fashioned, but Misadventures' unique twist, called Dark Money, is delightful. They also offer various wood options for adding a smoky flavor, with apple and cherry being my favorites. They serve small bites, and I highly recommend the charcuterie board. The variety of cheeses is delicious, and it makes for a beautiful display. Among all the enjoyable elements, our phenomenal guide, Crystal, stood out the most. She has a lovely way of connecting with guests, figuring out your drink and food preferences, and making tailored recommendations. Crystal is attentive, vivacious, and very kind, going out of her way to ensure you have a magnificent night.

My brother was visiting from Colorado and I wanted to give him a unique and memorable visit so of course it was off to Misadventure & Co. We arrived soon after they opened for the day and it being a weekday it was quite there. The ambiance is great. We have been to other speakeasy bars in Louisville, KY and this was on par with those. Crystal was our server and bartender and she was fantastic all the way around. We each had a taster flight of 3 and each taster was incredible. We ordered the Mezze appetizer to accompany our taster flights and it was very good. I had my doubts about vodka distilled from baking goods, but with the first sip of one of their amazing and very creative craft cocktails, I was hooked. Before leaving I bought a bottle to take home and enjoy, and sadly it has been drained. No problem will be going back there with some friends very soon and will bring a couple of bottles home with me.

We stopped in for after dinner cocktails one evening. It was a busy night but there is plenty of seating. We enjoyed the cocktails and live music. Our server gave us a taste of their vodka they make and we quite enjoyed it. We enjoyed hearing what they make it with.

Such a cool spot!! I've had this on my list for a long time (LOVE the idea of a spirit that is keeping baked goods from going to waste) - and after finally heading this way after 3y, I'm excited it lived up to my impression. Funny spot in a business park when you drive in, but once you enter - it feels like a well traveled professor's library. The ceilings are dropped for an intimate feeling. The light illuminating from Turkish lamps is romantic. The wall decor is interesting and the best kind of eclectic. There's definitely no shortage of interesting pieces to look at in here! We came while there was live music and it was a bit loud for our taste (granted, we were right next to the performer). When the performance finished, we really enjoyed the vocal jazz ambiance too. Service was great and cocktails FANTASTIC. The Culture Shock is everything I ever want in a cocktail (floral, herbaceous, refreshing - and continues to develop). Can't wait to come back and try some more.

Stopped by for a simple date night. It's a cute full bar nestled inside a business park. I made a reservation for 7:30pm, but didn't need it as there were several seats available. The bartender greeted us promptly from the bar and told us to sit anywhere we'd like. A large group took up a section to the right of the establishment and a couple guys sat 2 seats apart from each other at the bar which took up pretty much the whole bar so we sat in the comfy wingback chairs nestled to the left of the entrance. After perusing their online menu we ordered 2 drinks. I loved my drink called Blood Runs Cold which is on the tart side but my husband said it tasted like biting into an Orange rind. He enjoyed his Jealous Uncle. I thought there would be food, but there wasn't any so we left after just 1 drink since we hadn't eaten dinner yet. We'll come back though because it's a great little vodka bar and the bartender was very personable and friendly. There's a nice seating area outside that would be perfect for warm summer nights also.

100% will return. The food, ambiance, music, and drinks were all on point. The service staff was attentive and they know how to make their drinks. This was the perfect date night for my husband's birthday. Hoping they open a spot is San Diego because it will be the place to be.

Oh my gosh what a GEM! I feel sad I took this long to check this spot out. Hidden in a business park in Vista, this Distillery is easy to miss. Once you get inside, feel the laid back vibes of this place and get to taste their fantastic cocktails, Misadventure will quickly become a favorite of yours too!

I wanted to love this place and support Vista small business, and I'm not sure how it has so many 10/10. We were greeted by a very nice guy who was helpful, but we were seated in the worst possible place: high top table next to a musician. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other and the table was nothing like the reviews indicate. Not sure how this is anything close to a speakeasy. It has SO much potential (and the cocktails were great). The food took almost an hour to arrive and it was jus panini and artichokes. We'd love to give it another try but having actually made reservations and being sat in the worst possible place was really disappointing.

Very creative drinks that were reasonable priced. The flight of drinks was the best because you could try a variety of flavors. We had Midnight Cooler (Rootbeer), Full Moon Party (Thai Basil and Lemongrass), and Thunder Cougar Falcon Bird (various citrus) for our flight along with an Espresso Martini. Our order of preference was Full Moon Party, Espresso Martini, Midnight cooler, then Thunder Bird, but all were fantastic! Fun atmosphere including a piano/singer on a Friday night! The store is part of commercial buildings with other offices, but the vibe inside is awesome. It can get a little loud, especially once the piano starts, but overall really fun!

Wow! I was really impressed with Misadventure and can't wait to come back. The vibe is very relaxing and quiet, a great place to catch up with friends. the drinks were all phenomenal. I had a taster flight with adam and eve, full moon party and beginning of the end... all excellent! I also had a buddah belly which was awesome and a maglia rose which was sweet with a kick of bitter and seltzer. Our server was the best and gave great recommendations based on our preferences. She also stayed sweet and kind after we too long to leave and over stayed the 11pm closing time. We are hoping they get food in house because we could've used a few appetizers (anything with bread) to help soak up the alcohol consumed :) Highlu recommend

Our experience at Misadventure & Co was a little underwhelming. I made a reservation online but when we got there they didn't have any record of it and even said "did you make it online? We never get those." They found a room for us but it had been occupied by a party that was still there and kept coming back in. The drinks were uninspired and the waitress didn't seem to know what was in anything or even what was available at the bar. She brought out one drink at a time even though our orders were very standard and didn't require extra time. They had a food truck out front but it only offered a few types of quesadillas and they weren't reasonably priced so we passed. I don't think I'll be back.

This hidden gem was recommended to us for drinks open late with a cozy atmosphere, the cute 1920's decor, good service, and a large selection of delicious cocktails. We ordered Mi Yammy Vice and Dark Money, both were really good and unique. The server gave us a free sample of their house vodka made up cycled from baked goods. Can't wait to try some more interesting cocktails from Misadventure.

What an awesome hidden gem!! Located in an office park, my friend and I met for after work drinks and had a blast! I ordered the Blood Runs Cold and my friend ordered the Lychee Chi Chi, totally different but both were amazing!! The bar tender was so friendly and knowledgeable, we enjoyed chatting with her. True master crafted cocktails, I was definitely impressed and would recommend!!

OMG!!!! This is my second time here in over a year. I was hoping it was as good as my first time. Rachel and Janissa did not disappoint! The ownership has changed and the vibe improved. Didn't know that was possible! Speakeasy me! Ordered a flight with Thai coconut, Adam & Eve, and Yammy. All of them were amazing but the Yammy was my winner. It is on the sweeter side but so different from any other drink. The Thai coconut was the remembered favorite. Rachel was accommodating, generous, and attentive. Janissa was a informative and shared her many shopping secrets. I love this place! Can't wait to return next time in Carlsbad. Don't change a thing girls!

I came here with 3 girl friends as a little impromptu girls night out. It was awesome!! The ambiance was really cool, the drinks were great and our bartender Jeremy was the best. He made us feel right at home and took great care of us. I can't wait to come back with my husband!

Just what I was looking for around the area! I forgot the bartender's name but she was great and so knowledgeable about the business and cocktails. Love that the products are up-cycled and the place has a tasteful, laid back vibe with board games.

What an incredible spot! Very chill vibes overall with games you can play while you sip away on such yummy cocktails. These drinks are extra special as extra additives, colorings, and pretty much the stuff that give you bad hangovers do not exist in these drinks! If it's your first time visiting I recommend the taster flight. Pick 3 out of 6 options. I recommend Mi Yammy Vice and Adam & Eve. They have food trucks every night that change and we went on a Saturday so there was live music. The staff was super friendly and surely knew their facts about this establishment! I definitely will come back again if I'm ever out in this area as it was such a refreshing place to be. I honestly left feeling so alive and happy.

I absolutely love Misadventure & Co.! I had some friends visiting and we were looking for places to have a drink. I was thrilled that not only were M&Co. close by, they have an amazing way of distilling their vodka from baked goods, and their drinks looked so fun! The decor is awesome and it really feels like a place you would want to come back for a visit or two. There are some cool and eclectic pieces of decor, books, and awesome lighting. One of the owners Whit gave us their story as well as tastes of their vodka. He suggested that we taste the vodka neat and to pay attention/notice the places that the vodka hit on our tongues, I tried several cocktails over the evening. They make incredible espresso and dirty martinis. The DIRTY MARTINI is made with their House Brine, Dry Vermouth, Castelvetrano Olives (top notch) The NITRO ESPRESSO MARTINI Starts with Coffee Liquor, Iverson's Coffee Roasters' Coffee, Vanilla and another spectacular cocktail is the BUDDHA BELLY Yuzu, Cucumber, Vanilla, & Lime. Aside from being on holiday they are typically open only a couple times a week (Fri. & Sat.). I look forward to early January 2023 when they reopen.

These are some damn tasty cocktails! My wife and I were in Vista for the weekend, and while my mom was watching the kids, we had a date night. Started the evening off with a couple drinks at Misadventure before going to Carlsbad for dinner. Miadaventure is a hidden gem located in a business park. It was pretty crowded at 6pm on Saturday night, but then started to clear up about 30-45 min later. All of the drinks that we tried were delicious and very well made. Some of the drinks seem to be premade, but they tasted great. I think that helps with the consistency as well as speeding up the ordering process. Everything was very fast, service was very friendly, and the ambiance was enjoyable. They had a musician playing and also had a food stand outside. You can also hang out, have a drink and play some board games. A great gem here in Vista and a nice way to start a night out! Cheers.

Super fun, quick decision to come here tonight. My 60th birthday is on Friday & everyone treated me so well. We celebrated & met so many awesome new friends. Yes everything was delicious! Yes the atmosphere was amazing! And yes I will be back! Service was quick for specialty drinks and I can't believe the server was able to hold all the orders in her head. I would have needed fo write that down. I really enjoyed playing some games that were available in one of the rooms. Overall a really relaxing bar experience that I would definitely recommend

I wasn't sure what to expect when we got here but wow. This place has a lot of style and reminded me of somewhere from years past in a very good way. We were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff and made to feel right at home. Bonus points for just how patient they were too. They are making a difference by reducing the carbon footprint around them too! They asked what we wanted and we opted for the Taster Flight: made up of three 4oz. tasters for $12. You can choose or they'll choose for you if you'd like. All drinks were great but the Mi Yammy Vice with ube (purple yam) was my favorite. I enjoyed the experience so much I couldn't stop telling my friends. For amazing drinks and service from amazing people this is the place.

It's been a looong time since I have reviewed any place, but I really need to do it this time. It's my 3rd time here and last night is a whole new level. They changed ownership and servers just became nicer and with better drinks! The singer's voice was so relaxing making every sip of my yummy cocktails even more enjoyable. If you need some romantic relaxing night with good drinks, this is the place! I haven't even mentioned the fancy decors! I love the drinks specially the one with purple yam, ambience and the service!

One of the few distilleries in San Diego county, and one of the best. Not only delicious unique vodka, but also made out of bakery bread that would otherwise go to waste. Fully green company, negative carbon footprint. Full bar, speakeasy vibes, also have beer and wine. Food trucks on the weekends. If Rachel is working you'll also get to enjoy a pretty face and fun conversation. If you say it's your first time you'll get a 'taster'. Be sure to take a few bottles home as they're hard to find retail. If you're not sure, start with a vodka soda or a dirty martini with their house made olive brine.

Misadventures is not about only drinks, it's all about learning. I felt like I have learned more, thanks whit. I had a opportunity through Yelp and we continued to have more drinks here. I felt so good that every sip of vodka I am doing something good to the planet. Vodka is great, and the process is sustainable and helping environmental impact. Atmoshpere is comfy, it has a very laid-back setting with interesting interior made using reusable stuffs, especially the globes. Coming to tasters, started with ThunderCougarFalconBird, name is inspired by Futurama. It had smoothly infused by hoise made Housemade Amaretto, Orange, Pineapple, Apricot, Lemon and Orange Bitters, it was bomb. Later we had neat Vodka and went to BEGINNING OF THE END most refreshing drink I ever had, it's perfect day drink Combination of Cucumber, Pineapple, Lemon, Lime, and topped with Rosemary. And the dessert part came, the orange cello slushies in a edible cup, can't ask for more. I had the flight of tasters and tried few other drinks, every drink was different and nice. My favorite is BEGINNING OF THE END. I will visit here more not only for these sustainable process but also for their great vodka.

Came on a Monday and it was really chill but was told it is standing room only on weekends. Dog friendly inside!! Huge win. Cocktails were really really good, naturally sweetened by the fruits they use. They have games you can play and two different rooms for smaller parties. Janessa was fantastic and so welcoming. I'm definitely coming back!

I've never had drinks that have tasted so fresh! The best part is, they're sustainable! While I was there, I had the privilege of meeting one of the co-owners, Whit. What really impressed me is, not only his knowledge, but his passion for teaching the public about sustainability and teamwork. I will absolutely be returning and highly recommend this place.

Rachel the bar manager makes great drinks and she and Janessa are super nice! The drinks are creative and delicious and you can order food delivered or carry in a charcuterie tray for a meet up with friends!

My wife & I have been coming here since they opened in 2018. Always a home run. The vibe, the drinks, and the personnel. Crystal was our mixologist/server and she was amazing. Such a great personality, absolutely an asset. Her version of the menu drinks were on point if not better than usual, and they've always been fantastic. We brought our close friends from Paso Robles here and they loved it. Can't recommend Misadventure enough.

This review is long overdue. The cocktails here are wonderful! We used to come to their Sunday Brunch, but due to staffing(?) issues, we heard they no longer have them and may have cut back their overall hours. One word: COCKTAIL FLIGHTS! (okay, that's two words but some of y'all have short attention spans) How can you go wrong with cocktail flights?! It's the smartest thing out there because I am a "sampler platter" girl, but that can cause a lot of issues drinking your way down a menu of cocktails. Full Moon Party and Jealous Cousin are the shizz! My husband loves Sand to Snow because it's 2 of his favorite things: rye whisky and coconut. Lychee Chi Chi is also amazing! I'm telling you this is such a hidden gem, please go support local, small business owners and give this place a try! You won't regret it and you will be helping me punish my liver with phenomenal craft cocktails by keeping this wonderful watering hole in business! Hopefully brunch will come back, but only if ya bums out there come and have a drink with the other neighbors. Dang.

A craft distillery but also your local neighborhood bar! They may be making their own spirits here, but they do have a full bar in stock if you want to come for their ambiance, decor, and fun seating! Whit, one of the co founders of the distillery, told us great stories of the beginnings of Misadventures and it was so fun learning all the trials and tribulations that he and his partners went through to get to where they are now! He was super knowledgeable and very friendly. Definitely a great storyteller so don't hesitate to ask him questions if you ever see him around. The vodka and cocktail tasting that Yelp Elites were invited to offered the ThunderCougarFalconBird and the Beginning of the End cocktail and a shot of vodka! I loved both cocktails and would definitely come back to try more! They were all so refreshing and tasty! It was a great place to learn more about the craft distillery scene and see how Misadventures is becoming a leading sustainable distillery company! A lot of their decor is up-cycled and even the VODKA is up-cycled from excess baked goods!!!! They are really saving the world by having you drink, so CHEERS!

What's better than adventure?--Misadventure. Wow. Just wow. Both the concept and execution of Misadventure & Co. are just outstanding. I was fortunate enough to attend the Yelp elite event and check this place out for the first time. We got to sit down with co-owner and bartender Whit, where he gave us a very informed Q & A while sampling their vodka and select cocktails. Did you know that 40% of food ends up in a landfill? What misadventure & co has developed is a carbon negative spirit that not only is smooth and delicious but is saving the planet, one bottle at a time. I was blown away by how delicious their effervescent cocktails on draft were. These "could be canned" cocktails were refreshing and full of flavor. Whit explained that while it's fun for a bartender to craft complex cocktails, you often lose some of the personable moments you can make with your customers; these "ready made" drinks allow for more interaction with clients, all while still tasting phenomenal. They do have plenty of drinks that are made on the spot, which feature fun with fire and other innovative concepts. Misadventure & co have a "no waste" policy. They use every single part of the pineapple down to the fronds to come up with delicious pulps, syrups and garnishes. I cannot recommend this place enough! And if you happen to be in while Whit is there, ask him questions! He was so interesting to talk to. And if you miss him? What a darling and unexpected adventure! We just happened to find this business on Instagram - and popped in for an afternoon cocktail to check it out. They ambiance is darling and we had a fabulous tasting and played some fun games tucked away in the library. The bartenders were lovely and we can't wait to come back and bring friends!

It's a rare occurrence when drinking cocktails makes the world a better place, but that's the exact concept of Misadventure! Beyond serving top-notch craft cocktails, they practice green, sustainable distilling methods- "the future of what alcohol production will be" as stated on their website. Upon sitting down, I received a complimentary sample of their house vodka, which was surprisingly smooth. I'm typically a gin drinker, so this surpassed my expectations. The entire staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and shared great recommendations. I started with the Blood Runs Cold, a refreshing cocktail with orange cordial and fresh citrus. Next up, the Classic Martini- a must try for any martini lover. Lastly, I ordered a cocktail sampler which consisted of three 4 oz. pours from their highball cocktail menu. This is a great option if you can't make a decision or want to try a variety of great drinks. If you enjoy good cocktails, I definitely recommend visiting Misadventure. It's a great meet-up spot for a weekend afternoon or weeknight happy hour.

Best cocktails ever! We LOVE starting date nights here on Friday nights. Great atmosphere and they have some household games tucked in the corner that you can play. Live music on select nights. Love the Highball flight because they have a partial rotating drink menu so you get to make your way around the menu in one visit we've been here several times and will always be a favorite. It's a vodka distillery so all of their drinks are made with vodka or some version of their vodka infusions. I'm not a vodka fan and I absolutely love it here. They're under new recent management and they opened up more seating, including the back room which used to be closed (which I always found strange) so definitely a great change. The other change I noticed was that they used to offer sourdough bread and oil on Friday nights which is no longer an option. That said, they do have food trucks outside if you're hungry which was not offered before. Love this little gem and love that it's tucked away!

This is a fabulous place to spend a relaxing evening enjoying wonderful cocktails, delicious food, and live music. Don't let the corporate business location stop you from entering! Sit outside and enjoy the summer weather, or inside the speakeasy. Food is from a food truck - call ahead to find out what it will be that day you go. Service was friendly and attentive. We were not rushed and enjoyed the drinks and music for 2 hours. Can't wait for their expansion!

First ever cocktail flight I have had the pleasure of encountering, let alone experience. All of the drinks were pretty amazing and a fantastic deal for the price. Surprisingly, hubby and I both picked MI YAMMY VICE as our favorite. I was concerned about rose water in the description but I did not smell or taste it (thank heavens). The super sweet bartender made me a yummy drink with that ube and coconut milk. I couldn't tell you what else but it was just divine. Oh and PS the negative carbon footprint (read-vodka made from leftover bread) just rocks. Thank you for the great drinks, environment and cool staff.
