16 Best Sushi Spots in Denver | Eater Denver

"Like its temporarily closed sibling at Broadway Market, this Stanley Marketplace stall from Charlene and Robert Thai (who also own Misaki in Superior) is a happy reminder that sushi was originally a street snack — no fancy surroundings necessary. Which isn’t to say the food here isn’t polished: In addition to elegantly presented nigiri, rolls come complete with such unexpected garnishes as mustard-yuzu sauce, toasted coconut, and capers." - Gigi Sukin

WOW! An authentic izakaya atmosphere is hard to replicate and produce, but Misaki absolutely captures that warm, lively vibe. The owners' passion is unmatched- from the decor to the food, every single detail exudes devotion. All of the chochin/lanterns and banners were imported from Japan! Additionally, there are a couple hidden gems on the menu that you would not find at the vast majority of other Japanese restaurants in the states. The owners are so friendly and kind, I always look forward to seeing them. You absolutely have to go here on your next night out!

Excellent shrimps..rolls..firecracker..great footfalls...best sushi taste and fresh flavours.. Our dinner was mesmerizing. Thanks Misaki for adding more place. Very welcoming

Google
BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT IN DENVER. I truly can’t put to words how incredible Misaki is! Their sushi is outstanding (the Firecracker is my favorite), and the service is phenomenal. I’ve been here plenty of times, and the waiters are always super friendly, attentive and efficient. The owner, Robert, goes above and beyond for his customers. Thank you Misaki!

Google
Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly welcoming. Our server Lia made sure my husband and I were well taken care of, and their genuine hospitality added to the whole experience. The sushi was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We have since been there five times in the last month so I know that our exceptional experience was NOT a one off they are consistent! Among the things we have ordered were the Expert roll, When Pigs Swim, Salmon Skin roll, White Fish Tempura and Surf and Turf, Wow! You can truly taste the quality and attention to detail in every bite. The rice is soft, the sauces are perfect. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking for a nice, quiet dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Parking is easy too.

Located inside the Stanley Market, you walk into this place, and it's like walking into a Tokyo Night Market restaurant. Great staff, great sushi, and great ambiance. Just came back from Japan a few weeks ago, and this place filled the need until I go back.

Google
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? this place was stupid good! Made no sense how delicious and fresh the fish was. Wow! Bluefin tuna just melted in my mouth. The urchin nigiri not gonna lie was rough. But my mom said it was buttery and tasted how it was supposed to. Yummy to her. The octopus and VEGAN sushi roll were incredible . I’m not vegan but I wanted to try it anyway. Wow the roll was superb. You can tell it was veggies but I’m sure to a vegan it would be hard to tell the difference the texture was almost spot on. Great service and such a fun environment. Absolutely love this place.

Google
Amazing sushi place on the first floor of Stanley Market! The food is delicious and the fish is flown from Japan so you know it’s good. Everything we ate was fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Busy busy, but all the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help. Definitely a place in the regular rotation for sushi!

Google
We are so happy with the service and the quality of fish we had last night! We tried all of the specials, including Uni, Toro, Monkfish Liver, Horse Mackerel, and Amberjack. Prices were reasonable & we will for sure be going back next time we visit!
google avatar

Yelp
A cute hidden gem inside Stanley Marketplace! We typically usually always go to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, but Misaki is definitely more quality over quantity! The portion size of fish was nice in comparison to rice (not a crazy amount or more rice than fish). Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Especially the Uni which is surprising because most places don't serve it or they are very bad quality. Our favorites were the vegetable tempura and nigiri. Least favs was the chicken karaage as some pieces were undercooked and chewy. The spider roll (soft crab) was a unique try but we couldn't get on board with the sweet taste and the basil that was inside. Overall, we will be back as it's one of the nicer sushi restaurant in Central Park without having to go downtown or to Aurora!

Yelp
Misaki looks like a place that is very well known . Love the location , in the heart of everything . The organized chaos in the design is so awesome . I did see buttons at majority of the tables , in which takes me back to the days I visited Japan. Because the waiters or waitresses would not come up to the take unless you hit the button out of sign of respecting your space. Nonetheless they were super nice and attentive, I will say they seemed a bit short handed but it was ok. The sushi was really good ... loved the edemame and the veggie rolls ... We got the rainbow roll , lobsters , and 2 others Love it here , will come back
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
I have been here two times. Service was great for an older man with a cane. They are great. I ordered tempura veggie and shrimp appetizer and pork/chicken dumplings. Wife and I share these two. There was plenty of wonderful meal and will definitely go back for another go around. Really clean and spacious in Stanley Market.

Yelp
The sushi was pretty good, but my absolute favorite was the mochi! They make it fresh here with custard and strawberries. I

Yelp
Had yet to try the closest sushi place to our house at Stanley Marketplace! Misaki and the market was crazy busy at 5pm on a Friday. Ordered appetizers, nigiri, a couple rolls and fried chicken for pickup. Order was delayed about 10 minutes but not bad for how busy it was. The nigiri was extremely fresh and we were impressed by the uni as most Denver places don't even have it. The vegetable tempura was great as well. The spicy tuna and spider rolls were well made but not our favorites and we will probably try something else next time. The fried chicken was similar to popcorn chicken and definitely good for kids if they don't want fish. Overall Misaki is a fun spot nestled in Stanley Marketplace with high quality food.
google avatar

Crystal K.

Yelp
We really loved visiting here. The staff were so friendly and welcoming to kids. Everyone who brought out food or refilled water were all very nice and kind. My daughter LOVED the kids sesame chicken, she ate everything but two chicken pieces. The miso soup came out hot and was extremely tasty. The tofu and seaweed were fresh! I loved the fatty tuna and yellow tail; the fish was extremely fresh. I enjoyed all the rolls. I was looking for one with citrus, but didn't see one on the menu and went with mango instead. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
The sushi is mid, but I love the ambiance and am stoked for them that they've upgraded to a larger space in Stanley Marketplace. They have more tables now, which is great. Prices are pretty standard for Denver sushi. The $5 house salad feels like a good deal, due to the nice portion size. My Misaki Roll was okay. The fish didn't taste super fresh, but we are in a landlocked state. I am intrigued by some of the more creative rolls, but at $15/16 each, I can only give in to my curiosity so much. Service is pretty bad. You order by QR code, but need to get drinks with a server. I had to ask ours if we could order sodas, and I also had to ask for more chopsticks and a water refill. Overall just inattentive. If I'm in Stanley and feeling sushi, I'll grab a roll from here. I'd never go out of my way to go to this restaurant, though.
google avatar

Rey D.

Yelp
What's up with places named misaki being generally solid? There another Japanese spot in my home state that is also good. The price is right, vibes are sweet, and the quality feels better than what you're paying for. The only reason it's not a 5 is because I had a place that blew my socks off over summer. Misaki would either need to be cheaper (not in this economy) or have some of those dishes and deliver at an equal caliber - like the crispy rice which is probably not authentic but dam is it a palate blaster
google avatar

Mai L.

Yelp
I've been to Stanley Marketplace a bunch of times and never thought to eat here. I brought a friend from out of town here since we'd have choices. We peered at the menu and within seconds - a wonderful Japanese man came up to greet us and we decided to get seated here. It's a cute vibe and I like that it's its own restaurant within this food hall with table service. we started with the spicy edamame and we each got a miso soup. The spicy edamame was very spicy - we didn't eat too much since I don't like to not taste the rest of my food. We ordered 2 rolls to share. We got the roll that has eel in it and a roll that has mango on it. We didn't know what to expect for the mango roll but it ended up being amazing! It was super light & refreshing. Our eel roll was also delicious. Really enjoyed this place. Our only downfall was they ended up getting busy and we had to flag them down for our check and for a to-go box so we waited there longer than we would've liked.
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots in the Central Park area. The staff is great, and they will make any sushi preparation you ask for, even if it's not on the menu. Definitely worth the trip inside Stanley Marketplace.
google avatar

Luca B.

Yelp
I used to love this place but the quality of the food has really plummeted. I don't know if they got a new chef or use new ingredients but now it's barely better than sushi you would find at Sprouts or King Soopers. This pains me to say too because I live next door and now I have to find a new sushi place. What a bummer. That said, the location is really charming.
google avatar

Maggie B.

Yelp
The fish was not great. We had a salmon tartare roll that was seared?? and not super fresh. Everything else, was fine, but ):
google avatar

Deb B.

Yelp
Omgoodness I love EVERYTHING about this place! The food, the location, the atmosphere the market place buzz the decore! Sign me up! We had crab wontons, sushi roll and tempura. The wontons and tempura were cooked at the perfect temp, not greasy at all! And delish. The sushi roll was yum! Love love love this place forgot the peppers , yum!
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
We were itching for some sushi after our long flight from Philly. We were pleasantly surprised to find this jem at Stanley Marketplace. We started with the spicy edamame & they were a little too spicy for my palate but De-licious! We got the Misaki roll, salmon tartare roll & a tuna avocado roll. Our favorite was the Misaki roll. We prefer our specialty rolls more on the raw side. This was the closest we could find. I found the tuna avocado roll to have too much rice wrapped around it but it didn't bother my son who devoured it. The owners are friendly and project a strong family & community with their customers. If we did return to the area, I would stop by to have a reasonably priced delicious meal.

Yelp
Happy to have this place in the Stanley Marketplace, and for them to have a bigger space. I wish they still showed anime or Ghibli on the televisions, but the ambience is otherwise quite nice. The Japanese city pop playlist adds to the coziness. Sushi is good. Not the best in the world or anything, but perfect for my needs. The chicken karaage is some of my favorite and inspired me to start learning to make my own. Folks here have been super friendly, and service is generally pretty quick. Having Toast as an option to order is great, and I like that you can alternatively mark up a menu with a marker. The Udon with Pork soup is also a winner. Great drink selection, both alcoholic and non alcoholic! I'd love for them to include a non alcoholic Asahi Super Dry, since it's one of my favorites, and would go well with the food here.
google avatar

Yelp
Good, fast, casual sushi for lunch or take out! Food tastes fresh, service is fast, and they are located right in the middle of Stanley Marketplace! The ambiance is casual and I love coming here for a quick lunch.
google avatar

Liz C.

Yelp
The food at Misaki is consistently good. I have had my fair share of Japanese restaurants and this place is definitely one of my favorites so far! The way that they make their rolls taste very fresh and flavorful. We got the side salad, miso soup, a couple of rolls, and the udon. I would recommend getting the salad! The ginger dressing is so good and a great palate cleanser for the meal. The miso soup is also a great if you are getting a lot of different rolls. The service here is always so friendly! There is usually a line if you go on the weekends, but we we were able to beat the lunch rush and get seated right away. Even tho the seating isn't really separated from the hallways of the market, I think that it creates a pretty good ambiance. Totally recommend this place if you are at Stanley Marketplace!!
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
The mussels were amazing and three weeks out I'm still thinking about them. They were already separated from the shell which automatically grants them an additional star. I ordered an assortment of rolls which all tasted fresh and seemed well made. I had some trouble with the delivery so I would recommend picking up yourself if at all possible but I will not subtract a star for that; as it's something they had no control over. Overall a really great sushi spot in the area and I would definitely get food from here again.

Valerie J.

Yelp
My husband and I happened to walk by this restaurant while getting some natural wine at Mr. B's couldn't help to notice the crowded restaurant so I am thinking it must be good! We got a small take out to try their sushi we got spicy tuna and spicy salmon skin sushi! OMG so divine! We came back the falling weekend for our anniversary to have the full experience. I am so glad that we did. Our waitress was phenomenal she educated us on plum wine and plum liqueur, WOW both were amazing and tasted great with our sushi. The miso soup was delicious along our gyoza appetizer. This was such a great choice and I love the ambiance. Casual dress and overall a great sushi experience. We will definitely will be back as I think about their sushi often. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Leena S.

Yelp
Misaki does vegetarian "sushi" and appetizers right! I've ordered my share of Sweet Potato and Avocado rolls over the years. I must say, these were among the best I've had. The vegetarian Gyoza was also great, with crispy outer edges. My husband ordered two Spicy Tuna rolls, but for some reason they gave him 1 spicy tuna and 1 salmon roll. He kept it since the place was so busy and didn't want to wait to get the order right. When we arrived there was about a 5-10 minute wait, but the manager took our order while we waited so that our food would be ready shortly after we were seated! It's a small place with limited seating, but they will gladly pack your items too go and you can find yourself another cozy spot to sit within Stanley Marketplace. Prices are very reasonable and considering the quality of the food, this is a plus. The staff is personable and attentive. I almost left without my purse, which was hanging on the back of my chair. The waiter called out to me and I turned back to grab it. Attentive customer service!

Yelp
My Favorite place to eat sushi everything is so delicious and fresh ,also the employees are so friendly and welcoming

Yelp
Situated inside the Stapleton Marketplace where there are multitudes of restaurants and shops, this corner place serves up some righteous good eats! The service was a little slow, and it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday lunch timeframe. I'm not a big fan of sitting out in the open and would prefer to have a wall between me and the hallways. Oh well. Our salads were incredibly fresh and tasty and the sushi and rolls were generously packed with delicious fish portions. I must say that I was impressed. It's a tiny hole in the wall place making some delicious Japanese dishes. Not much else to say.
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
Always great fresh food, quick and easy dining experience. High quality, reasonable pricing. The take out is equally high quality.

Yelp
The dinner tonight at Misaki exceeded my expectations so I must write. After the Dali exhibit, my friend and I wanted an early dinner but something with quality. I recommended Misaki and we both agreed on it. 'Twas an easy and quick decision. It was barely 5pm so there were a good amount of open tables; The guy said to just grab whatever one we'd want. The sushi menu has average size selection. I don't like overwhelming huge menu anyway. And if you flip it, there are appetizers and dinner items on the other side. So easy to read. We picked what we'd like pretty fast; we were ready to eat!! I'm not into extravagant rolls with so many different ingredients so I got simple nigiri (4 different types of fish) and one small (Negihama) roll. I was very impressed with Kaibashira. Scallops were diced into smaller pieces and they are marinated in mayo based marinade. Amazing! I didn't care for the Yuzu sparkling sake (I wanted to try something different so I, at least gave it a try) but since I was so pleased with the quality of the sushi, I really didn't care about the sake being not my cup of tea (next time I'll get Sapporo or something!!) Our waiter was very attentive. Service was pretty fast.

Dia H.

Yelp
Great sushi. I just wish that you didn't put cucumbers in everything. Would def try again and try other selections.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
I am spoiled by living in a place that has really good fresh Sushi. Misaki was fine but it was pretty mediocre sushi. Construction of the rolls was so so , the fish was so so, and taste was so so.
google avatar

May C.

Yelp
There was a wait but it wasn't too long. It was crowded but the service was still fast and nice. Really enjoyed the food. The sushi was so big!!! Love the authentic Japanese decorations a lot.
google avatar

Ailun H.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped by this past Saturday for dinner and we didn't expect too much. I didn't want to eat too much given that this marketplace had so many other food to try so I ordered a couple standard makis. SHAKE MAKI | SALMON (6 PCS.) - 6.50 Wow, these are the fattest makis I've ever seen. Each piece was stuffed with a good amount of salmon which was decent. I'm not usually unsatisfied with salmon (pretty low expectations since salmon is just so good, lol). The sushi rice here has a good chewy texture and the perfect amount of vinegar. NEGIHAMA | YELLOWTAIL WITH GREEN ONIONS (6 PCS.) - 6.50 Similar to the salmon maki, the yellowtail maki was fat. I'm usually not impressed with yellowtail (since most of the rolls I've had lack flavor), but this one was really good. There was a strong and tasty flavor and the scallion was the perfect garnish. I would recommend the yellowtail here. My friend got the SPICY POKE ROLL, which was OK. Compared to the simple makis, this one fell short in terms of taste. Overall, Misaki is a decent sushi place in the area.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are from out of town. We were craving sushi and found Misaki. It is located inside this super cute marketplace. Although we went at a later time (a lot of the shops were closed), we know that during regular midday hours, it would be popping. Even as so, there were still a good amount of people at Misaki (a good sign). We wanted to try a variety of the fish. We got salmon, tuna, mackeral, octopus, masago, and scallop. We also got a salmon avocado roll. Overall, the fish tasted pretty average. Not the freshest we've had, but it pretty much measured to what you would get in a basic sushi restaurant. I would say, their octopus nigiri is tastier than some places I've been to. We also tried their pineapple sake. We've never had fruity flavored sake before and it was delightful. It had a nice fruity aftertaste. I would say overall for the price and quality of food, it's pretty average, but it is a cute spot for a quick little sushi date!
google avatar

Crystal E.

Yelp
Food was great! Everything's we got was delicious and the food came out really fast. The restaurant is located inside the Stanley marketplace. We were seated and served within 5 mins. The atmosphere felt very Japan style. Would come back again if in the area.
google avatar

Allyson M.

Yelp
I mean, what can I say that hasn't already been said? What I will say is that I always order way too much sushi for just myself (there's really no such thing though, amiright?). You better believe I'm still going to eat every last delicious bite. I'm here at lunchtime on a beautiful Friday afternoon. It got busy but cleared out quickly. The servers are fast and friendly. Seating was not an issue at all. It's a little loud but that's to be expected in a venue like this. And The Stanley has been rocking out late '90s pop R&B and '80s pop... fantastic way to kick off the weekend!
google avatar

Luke G.

Yelp
I'm blown away by the service. We ate with 3 kids under 5, and the accommodated above expectations. First they brought extra rice out for the kids (kids love white rice), and then shortly after they brought out a plate of strawberries for the kids. Their sushi selection is vast and the prices are insanely cheap. If you're looking for a sushi fix without breaking the bank, this is your place. The nigiri is heavy on fish and light on rice.
google avatar

Rochele B.

Yelp
Our favorite sushi spot in Aurora and the new location inside Stanley looks amazing! The staff and owner are amazing and the prices are incredible.

Mark R.

Yelp
Ordered ahead to pick up at the scheduled time of 5:30. Get notified food is ready at 4:45 for some reason. They refuse to remake it or do anything to keep it fresh, so we end up getting sushi that has been sitting directly on top of hot dumplings for 45 minutes. Asked for them to remedy it, hostess was rude and refused to do anything. Sushi was gross and warm. Do not recommend.
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
Pretty good sushi place. I didn't realize it was in the Marketplace until I got to the parking lot. They had ample seating but there is heavy foot traffic around the seating, great place to people watch if you're into that. We ordered some nigiri and sushi rolls. Everything tasted pretty good. I also ordered the Peach Sake which was good but not worth the money based on how little they gave in a wine glass. Prices were ok. I would come back
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Amazing, unusual flavor combinations! One of the best sushi joints that I've tried in Denver. The black cod appetizer was the bomb. The Misaki roll, and the Crunchy Hama roll were really well made, interesting flavor fusions. We had it delivered to our hotel by their provider. A little sticky, in the execution, but it worked.
google avatar

Steffi H.

Yelp
Finally made a pit stop at Misaki for sushi after seeing such good reviews. Went on a random weekday dinner. We got quite a few different things - edamame, a few rolls, and some salmon nigiri. As a first timer, it was a little confusing the process for ordering/sitting. The front staff were not very helpful (to be fair, they were definitely after school teens working), and it was like a choose your own adventure. I had to go up to the fron register several times to get their attention/get menus/pay/order etc. which I'm not sure if that's typical or not. But the reason I give Misaki 3 stars is because the sushi itself was just okay to me. The quality was fine, the rice was a little stale (I like my sushi rice to be very fluffy). The fish was an okay level of fresh for me, but you can still taste a lot of the sea especially with the tuna dishes. Overall, an okay spot for sushi if you're craving it, but probably not a go to for me.
google avatar

Klemens T.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time. Ordered the Karaage fried chicken (its ok), Hamachi (pretty good), Inari (good), Misaki roll (it's ok), and Spider Rolls (pretty delicious). Overall, being from Hawaii, it's a bit hard to enjoy fish that aren't fresh, but it's the best that I can get. It's a bit pricey and some of the sushi had some weird additional things in there such as asparagus which is something I've never seen in sushi. The staff were friendly and fast. I think we had the manager waiting on our tables and he did an awesome job. They don't do reservations, but he was nice enough to save a large table in the common area for me and my group.
google avatar

Kieu L.

Yelp
Delicious, high quality sushi! It was a little bit of a wait for the food to come out during rush hours, but it's worth the wait.
google avatar

Damian W.

Yelp
The place is located in a market with open sitting so people in the market can walk by you and see what you are eating. Is like back home street food. The fish was very fresh but I don't know why they put the peppermint in the roll. Did not expect that so next time will order without it. Because it gave a perfume taste to the roll. The fry octopus was really good. It came as a small octopus deep fried. Pan fired dumpling was ok. The Clam came out cold, I was expecting to be hot since it had the Mayonnaise melt on top. Over all we love it. Is a really cute place to eat and the price is very affordable. We will be BACK!!!
google avatar

Claire M.

Yelp
My husband and I live in the city so when we made our way out to the burbs to check out Stanley Marketplace, we weren't sure what to expect. Needless to say, we were impressed with the food & drink options including Misaki! We stopped in on a Friday night and after scanning the market for all options, we landed on Misaki b/c you can't go wrong with sushi. Plus the menu looked great & reasonably priced! Due to limited seating, we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated which wasn't a big deal as we were drinking beer we picked up from the brewery. We ordered appetizers and sushi rolls and were happy with everything! They did forget to give us one roll we had ordered but they ended up comping it for us and sending us home with the roll to go for free which was so nice of them. Great spot & service overall!
google avatar

Daniel E.

Yelp
The Stanley Marketplace is a neighborhood jewel, and one of the reasons is its vast assortment of quality, yet casual dining establishments. Misaki is one of its best. Offering dine-in (table or bench) or take-out, Misaki has a terrific assortment of appetizers, soups, salads, and sushi offerings. They are well-priced, cooked to order, and their customer service is outstanding. Yesterday's visit included miso soup and a house ginger salad, followed by yummy California and Spicy Poke rolls, both coming with eight per order. Delicious, perfectly prepared, and a wonderful meal. The whole meal was $30, a heck of a lunch for a good price.
google avatar

Karin H.

Yelp
Amazing sushi, appetizers and excellent service. The flavors and fresh fish are excellent always! Yum!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Sushi place inside the Stanley marketplace. I got the lunch special which was a lot for one person. I will say the Poké Sushi was delicious. However, some of this Sashimi did not taste fresh. Service was fast and friendly. The gyoza was really good.
google avatar

Bee W.

Yelp
Went to the Van Gogh exhibit at the Hangar in the Stanley Marketplace and needed lunch after. Walked by this place and the unique table designs grabbed me. And sushi is always good. So we headed to the front to be seated by the server as requested by signage. Asked to sit at the sushi counter where the table legs was a bicycle. So cute. The pedal made it interesting as if not careful you can bang your shin on it. We chose the miso soup, sashimi appetizer, spicy poke and the pork gyoza. The sashimi appetizer consisted of 2 pieces of tuna, yellowtail and salmon. The spicy poke was tuna with green onions, cucumber, avocado, masago and poke sauce. It took a while to get the food even the appetizer which did not make me happy. The miso soup was good. Well seasoned and smooth in texture. The sashimi appetizer was not good. I hate wasting food but I couldn't bring myself to eat it all. The slices were too thick and that made them chewy. The pork gyoza was tasty and he quickly finished them. They brought a California roll they had made by mistake and asked if we would want it. We decided to try it. It was pretty good. Avocado fresh and not mushy. The spicy poke was also pretty good. Nothing special here and it was pricey. Service was also meh. Had to ask for more water. Not for us.
google avatar

Jimmy S.

Yelp
The high rating pushed me to come here but the food just wasn't good. I got a miso soup, shrimp shumai, and a salmon roll and honestly couldn't finish any of it because I disliked it that much which is rare for me. The price is typical and the service was fine but maybe I just got the wrong food or it was an off night or something.
google avatar

Florence N.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here, its priced reasonably and the two rolls were really delicious. The firecracker roll had a tiny bit of crispy bits on the outside of the rice which made it so tasty, plus was the perfect amount of spicy. Service was quick but it also had JUST opened up. I wouod for sure come back and try other rolls.

Yelp
Highly recommend this casual sushi spot in the Stanley Market place. It has a beautiful chill ambience and decor. Their sushi menu is quite affordable for the quality and menu selection. We spent the day at the Stanley and progressively tried to eat at every single business. LOL We stopped for a quick bite and ordered sushi, clam miso soup and the miso yaki butter fish with veggies after sampling the empanadas and DBC brunch. We even enjoyed Logan's Coffee while we waited for our DBC take out order. At Misaki, I would order the fish appetizer for an entrée with a side of rice. It was so delicious and comforting! It tasted just like what my grandma would have made back home in Hawaii. My friend said the clam miso soup was THE BEST HE HAS EVER HAD. All the Nigiri were very fresh and quality bites. Definitely venture to the Stanley to check out Misaki!

Yelp
We used to love this place, but our last visit consisted of significantly smaller portions, and a feeling of being rushed. Now the woman that introduced me to Misaki, doesn't want to go back. Sushi was good, just stingy portions.
