Perfect divey bar! The waitress was super attentive. I had the mac and cheese bites and was surprised how they were. Also, the chips for the chips and salsa were made fresh and the salsa awesome! Another time we went and had dinner and everything was delish. The beer selection was amazing and extensive on-tap.

This is a pretty cool local bar. It is definitely a place where the staff knows the guests. Considering the size, there are a ton of nice big screen TVs. If a game is on, you will be able to see it sitting anywhere. My waitress told me they make their food in-house and fresh green chili, at least the burrito I was eating. I would definitely go again if I lived in the area.

We went to go see Steve and the cruisers they were fantastic. We went with a large group of about 14 and half we line dancers and the rest were regular dancers. The owner of the bar comes and is drunk and falls on the dance floor is front of us. We were all having a great time and she came up to us and ask us to leave and started swearing at us. This is very disappointed to see a business owner act like this. I'm going to let all of our friends and other people know. It's very disappointed that she would do this to a wonderful well known band that is fabulous. The owner said we did not spend any money at the bar. Our bar tab 50.00 and we also tipped our waitress 20.00 in cash. We all so left a lot of the dance floor open for other people. The owner is not worth it . One of lady's owns her own business and dose like a fool like this owner has. What a disappointment when we drove fare to come to this bar.

Sara with the red hair is so sweet and she and many many of the people who come in come to see sara she is high vibration and the other sarah works during days and she is blood with a smile 😃 like a mile long, by far the 2 woman bring the joy and loving environment

The wife and I met some friends from out of town here for a quick lunch and catch up. It wasn't very busy so we were seated immediately and our server promptly brought out our drinks. Can't remember her name, but she was super sweet, friendly, and seemed to enjoy her job. We shared some fried mushrooms - at the suggestion of our server - and just like she said they were absolutely fantastic! Large mushrooms with the perfect amount of batter. We also tried some chicken wings and they were large and pretty good! The place is definitely an "upscale dive bar". They had two pool tables, a bandstand, and a good size bar. We all enjoyed ourselves for the short time we were there. If you're in the area, give it a shot!

I love a dive bar and this was perfect for what we were looking for. It was such a good size and had a silly vending machine, karaoke and a pool table. Service was quick and kind. I'll definitely go back

Passing through on the way to Aspen. (Don't judge.) Needed to see a baseball game, a Stanley Cup game, and drink beers. Our goals were met. Taco Tuesday. I had the specially priced and delicious tacos; my son had the patty melt. Fast and tasty. The staff? Wonderful. Made sure our drinks were full and that we were doing OK, because we were fish out of water midwesterners. Oh, and Touchtunes. Can you play excellent music to enhance the ambiance? Of course. However, one is advised to see what is popular at this location so you don't play stuff that enrages the masses. This is a friendly "dive bar" in the finest sense of the term. It has a parking lot, an ATM, one of those Colorado vending machines that seem to involve cannabis products, and bar staff who you wish were your next door neighbors. Stop in. Eat and drink. Tip well. I'm only here for two days, and I already know I'll be back.

I couldn't believe this owner using insults and foul language to customers. Those ladies were very nice, I saw that they bought food and drinks, spent a lot of money. They most definitely did not deserve such treatment. And if she thought they took up too much room on the dance floor, she could have asked nicely instead of just saying to one of them, "move your $#@! over" Bottom line, she defiantly should have acted better to these paying customers instead of being nasty and insulting to them. That shows a lot of lack of character.

Its lively on a Monday night. the place has friendly poker games going, an avalanche game on and lots of fun guests and friendly, hardworking staff

Once again, I am sorry that I made these women mad and I am happy that they will not be back. I don't lie and the fact that this bar has been in business since 1990 with no issues speaks for itself. They should look to their behavior and anyone that they would refer to this establishment should they act in the manner they did would also be asked to leave. We are a local bar, friendly and hospitable to all but will not tolerate rude behavior of any kind.

First timers at Misfits. Our waitstaff was amazing. Super friendly, attentive and helpful. We stopped in on a plan B night, loved the vibe and likely would've stayed longer if the band wasn't so incredibly loud. They seemed to be really good, at least on their warm ups, but holy cow, the sound level was deafening. And in case you're wondering, no, we weren't sitting close. That aide, their burgers were good. My buffalo chicken salad was way better than expected and the guys with me shared similar sentiments with their burgers. Nothing frozen here. Not your typical bar food. The fried mushrooms felt like typical bar food, but one outta four isn't bad. For a random stop in, Misfits was a good find.

The waitress was not super friendly and had us get our own water, which would be understandable if they were packed. It took her a while to come get our order while the place had maybe 4 other customers total. The food took forever to come out and it was mediocre at best. The Italian sausage sandwich was not what we were expecting. It was like breakfast sausage on a plain roll with a little marinara sauce on the side, it wasn't enough sauce to make the sandwich not dry. The chicken tenders were very dry also. They had good flavor but that was about it. The fries were super plain but good texture. The ranch seemed homemade and tasted good. There was a band playing wayyyyy too loud for how little people were in the bar, no one could even try to have a conversation. The waitress also walked right into me and my chair trying to squeeze between the 1 foot of space between two tables and didn't even acknowledge that she slammed into my back when she should have just walked around the tables.

Was looking for a dive bar. I found one. Just not one to my liking. Misfits serves only domestic mass produced beer on draft. No craft beers. In a state like Colorado with so many craft brewery's, that is a sin. Bartender was efficient. Not friendly at all -- made no effort to chat me up or ask what I might want to eat or drink. The inside is adorned with 16 large screen TV's all showing sports - games, sports newscasts, etc. The place smells like beer, which can be good or bad, depending on how you interpret that.

The evening started out pretty well. We were expecting a large group, and most all of us ordered drinks and food before the band started. That's why we were there, to see the band and dance. I wondered why the waitresses were a little on edge, but didn't really give it a second thought. Drinks came promptly and the food was delicious. The band was terrific and we had a great time dancing. Unfortunately that goodtime bubble burst when the owner verbally abused us for taking up too much room on the dance floor. Really? Very unprofessional - lost at least 14 customers, who will let all our friends know not to patronize this bar - ever.

Unfortunately our group had to take abuse from a very drunk owner. We had a large group and spent a ton of money only to have her lash out against us for taking up too much room on the dance floor. Can you believe it?? You would think the owner would be happy we were there in this pathetic bar. We will not be back!

The girl in the kitchen deserves a raise!!! She is the most delightful human in the entire world, her work ethic is unmatched and her cooking skills are top tier...

Claire, ("owner"), just to put the record straight..... I want to clarify some of the events on friday, January 31st, at your venue. The line dancers were one of several large groups patronizing the dance floor. As the norm, we are aware of other dancers and know how to share space. I can explain my personal experience, specifically with you, Claire. We were enjoying our drinks, yes alcoholic beverages, and our food we had ordered. Not just water, "taking up your staff's time and energy." I was one of seven dancers on the floor. There was room at one end away from the tables for more dancers. You, claire, and another lady came up and danced. You, specifically, began to wave your arms and hip bump my friend, and then myself, telling us "to move our shit over." There was NO asking!! I continued to dance, leaving that corner open for you, but you even came to the middle of the floor to bash into me. Then you stopped dancing, took me by the arm, and said again, "move your shit over! I'm the owner of this bar and you just better watch it." I don't know, but I would think the owner of a bar would be happy patrons 1) came 2) ordered drinks and food and 3) supported the band. I take great offense in being talked to like you did, whether you're the bar owner or not. You are the one that needs to clean up her act. And yes, I am not insinuating but saying, you looked and talked drunk to me. Why else would you berate paying patrons?

We came here for the first time and the waitress was a drama queen because she brought a different alcohol than what was ordered. We mentioned it to her in case it was more expensive than what we actually ordered. After that the bar tender came being all huffy and macho aggressive. Then the regular waitress never came back. My husband and friend had to go up and get our own drinks after a bit. After that I didn't order anymore open drinks so they couldn't mess with my stuff and the rest of our party only ordered beer in the bottle. This place is not friendly and as a business owner who tips huge, I will not go back to this establishment. The waitress delibera snubbed my husband.

Went here to listen to a colleague play music. Was a bit surprised to see a bunch of motorcycles parked right outside the door cause I didn't think it was a biker bar. Either way we went in and had a really nice time. Granted we loved the band's music. I also broke down and tried thier hamburger and fries. I was tempted to get tater tots instead of fries but if I did it would take me me back to my elementary school days when that was what they served in their lunches all the time. Burger I was told was freshly made daily. So my expectations were set at a different level and was a bit disappointed. Bit it was still very juicy and I gobbled it down. However I was surprised that the Belgian White beer was over $6 even with a drink ticket? Guess its been awhile since I bought a beer in a bar. Bathrooms were okay and commensurate with being in a bar. Was a comfy, casual place with lots of screens for aporta and games to play. A foosball tournament was going on that night!

Great small business service and absolutely amazing bar food! This isn't a ten year old writing this so don't laugh when I say that the chicken finger meal is literally the best I've ever had anywhere! I order a side of their ranch, Buffalo sauce, and green chili... it becomes difficult to decide which to dip in so I trade off lol! Highly recommend to anyone!

The staff are amazing. Someone keeps parking in front of the walkway, though. I think she has an extra chromosome. Love you.

A very nice dive bar is how I'd best describe this place. Right out of central casting Very colorful clientele. Bartenders are really nice. Good to suit your basic needs. Basic, Nothing fancy but very solid place

Nice sports bar with good food. Lots of tvs playing every game that's on. Great beer happy hour if you're in the mood for coors or bud. Super friendly owner walking around making sure you are getting good service. Lots of burger and slider options and they load up the toppings. You have to love a place that doesn't skimp on the bacon and cheese. My wife wanted the bbq burger with an extra piece of bacon instead of the onion ring in it. The burger came out with five slices of bacon, booooyaaah!!! We love bacon! Now that's service. Staff is super friendly. Service was a little slow but they were busy. I hope they get some local micro brews on tap soon.

The burgers here are awesome and one of the sides you can get with your burgers is tater tots which were simply scrumptious. It's a great place to watch some sports games since there's a myriad of TV's all over the place. They even have a juke box where you can play some of your favorite oldies. This is a solid place to eat.

I live very near this place but didn't end up trying it out for probably the first year I lived in the area, much to my chagrine. What a mistake that was, lemme tell you. The food is really good! It's bar food, so don't expect filet mignon. Or even Alfredo pasta. They've some deep fried Mac 'n Cheese, and all the burgers you could ever want with your beer (and they've eight or so of those on tap, too). And sliders, if you want to try a few flavors and can't decide. Order three of them and they'll throw in the tots to make it a meal. Can't go wrong. Oh, right. Get the tots. Everybody has French fries, or onion rings, or what-have-you. They've got great tater tots. What's taters, precious? Boiled, mashed, probably stewed, then fried. Worth making a habit of. It's always best to come straight to the bar and order food, even to-go. Maybe face-to-face isn't the fanciest "interface" from the technical standpoint of food service in 2017, but it's nice to actually talk to people now and again. Go ahead, try it. I've been in enough to meet the owner, some of the bartenders, and a goodly amount of the regulars. This isn't a fancy "bar and grill," but it's not a dive, either. The restroom is low on frills but clean, the bar is smooth with lacquer, and the stainless steel and wood accents around the background are simple. But the folks are friendly, the food is good, and the regulars are talkative. So come in, pull up a stool, and grab a cold beer and a hot burger. You'll be back.

Bartender/manager is a huge b I t c h. Owner is nice if a little forgetful, and we waited for close to an hour for wings and mozzarella sticks, but other than that it's a fine bar. If owner gets rid of the woman in question, I will be happy to update my review to three or even four stars.

Misfits was a surprisingly great find. I live pretty close and have found myself here more than I ever dreamed I'd be at a place called "Misfits". Terrible name, notwithstanding this place has pretty solid food. The wings in the spicy gold sauce is my favorite. Drinks are fairly priced and the walls are covered in HDTVs. This a a great place to watch NFL games or play some pool.

Came into town for the night for a concert at Red Rocks. Needed a quick bite before and Misfits was close AND advertised in the binder in our Days Inn room. My wife and I can adjust to dive bar and fine dining, just depends on what mood we're in. As we approached, it screamed "divey." We hoped for a great experience bc we often find unless you're a local, you don't get a really warm reception. This place is awesome. A few side looks when we walked in but we never felt unwelcomed. Waitress was great and super helpful. Not only that, but when we told her what we were doing, she was excited for us and gave us some tips. Food choices were pretty standard. The slider combos really stood out. About 7 different options and w every 3 you get a side including tots! I thought you'd need to get 3 of a kind but nope, any three any combo. I got 6 figuring they were small "sliders." Oh no...I could only eat 2...I mean hey, I needed room for the tots! They were all awesome especially the two I had after the concert. Beers on sale were cheap and cold. Will for sure hit it up next time in town. Great experience all around.

This place is simply amazing. Incredibly friendly staff and great food at fair prices. Misfits' burgers were even better than the ever so popular Bob's burgers located down the road in Golden!

Just expanded the patio, now it has room for bands to play during the summer. The patio is lit well by string lighys hanging overhead, and has remained busy late. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have local bands playing till midnight inside! Great rotation going on, as far as new drafts, and the food never dissapoints! Plus Music Bingo, poker, karaoke, and daily deals on food and drinks!

Not even a star. This place is terrible at service. The wait-staff walks around or stands at the bar. It took 15 mins to get an order for a drink. To get. Menu, that's fairly quick so one star. To order food. I'm guessing you need to order at the bar. This place needs to hire talent not ones who take forever. If you have your regulars you should be checking up on them. They are who come back. If you come here. And get great service then they must have been dead.

Great food amazing staff. Definitely try their wings, the flame beef burger, or the buffalo chicken burger. Everyone who works here is awesome and friendly.

I had a awesome time here. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Could feel the family vibe between the staff and management. The Fooooood! It was amazing. For wing lovers like me, you have to get the Fire Gold flavor. You can actually see the seasonings used that creates the unique flavor. Aurora/Denver is the area I live and I would make that drive any day!

Newly renovated space adds a great place to eat, drink, and watch a game. What looks like a typical Colfax bar on the outside quickly turns into a friendly Sports Bar on the inside. They've got a diverse menu with Sliders, Giant Burritos, Tater Tots, and great local beers on tap. Their staff is friendly and add a great new addition to the Lakewood Restaurant scene. Stop by for a Broncos game, or call and check what nights they host free Texas Hold'em.

All around 5 stars on atmosphere, staff and food. This place will take you in and make you a loyal customer. Definitely the best bar in the area. The crowd here is very diverse - don't be fooled by the motorcycle parking out front

Great food, good prices, but don't go here if they are busy. Last night it was busy and they only had one bar tender and one waitress who ran her ass off and couldn't keep up. Waited 28 min for my 2nd beer. Don't go on Fridays or Saturdays its always staffed the same with the same poor service.

I LOVE this bar. It's divey- but not too divey for this side of Colfax. Our food and service have always been amazing. It's affordable and a super relaxed environment. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I don't want you to think this is a "5 Star Restaurant". It is a bar and it's amazing.

I love this bar!!! I want to say it 20 more times but I'll spare you all. This is the type place where the owner will sit and talk with you and when a long time patron passes away, the waitress will buy a round of his favorite whiskey for everyone! I can't say it enough, thank you Jamie!!!

Gotta try this place for lunch. New Chef is really creating a lot of great food. Try the mushroom Swiss burger with tots. Outstanding! The service is excellent too. If you want to have fun business lunch, take your team here.

For just another sports bar on west colfax, this place is pretty decent. Quick and friendly service, burgers are good, but I wonder why there weren't so many people here on football Sunday. Hmm, I don't know.
