19 Vegan Tacos To Try in San Diego

"Asada spiced chopped tempeh fill the Vegan Tempeh Tacos at Barrio Logan’s MishMash. Chef Doug Cook finishes the tacos with a burst of cabbage under chipotle cream and guacamole. Served with savory soyrizo refried beans and your choice of hot sauce from the cart next to the door." - Kelly Bone

20 Top-Notch Burgers to Try in San Diego

"MishMash in Barrio Logan specializes in a number of fusion dishes, like teriyaki pork belly, cuban sandwiches and snapper wontons, but diners should not ignore its special burger list. The decadent Clinton Burger, in particular, is a half-pound of beef stuffed with goat cheese and topped with an over easy egg, bacon, mozzarella and crunchy onions. All burgers can come with house-cut fries or Brussels sprouts, as well as additional toppings such as pancetta or avocado." - Darlene Horn, Candice Woo

Where to Eat in Barrio Logan - Eater San Diego

"With creative takes on burgers and sandwiches and a world of influence, this Barrio Logan eatery lives up to its name. The more reserved diner will be easily content with the everyday burger special — a juicy third-pounder burger with house fries and a lemonade at a very good price. But anyone looking for something bold should gravitate toward the vegan tempeh tacos or the Clinton burger, a beef patty stuffed with goat cheese and topped with an over easy-egg." - Mario A. Cortez

Great place & cool atmosphere! They have a bar and tables you can sit at indoors. The food was great! They have a bunch of different options. We ordered the truffle fries, a chicken sandwich they had on the menu, & one of the burgers. I didn’t take any photos of the food but I took random photos of artwork they had throughout their business. I love places that add their own touch to spaces & you def get a MishMash vibe when you walk in. The artwork everywhere is really cool. Everyone working there was nice & attentive. There was a mixup in our order & they were quick to resolve it. Service was great! They went above and beyond. Looking forward to our next time back!

Google
A great little neighborhood restaurant. Unlike the areas closer to downtown San Diego, this area is very nice with clean streets, and no homeless tents or related smells. There was plenty of nearby free parking. The restaurant is small with indoor and outside seating, and is spotless. The service is very friendly. We got the Smoke Out Saturdays: Al Pastor Ribs plate and 1/2lb Brisket a la carte. Everything was excellent! The sides of Grilled Street Corn and Pineapple Pico Slaw were the perfect compliment to the delicious meal.

Google
Food was delicious, service was great, and the atmosphere was pretty chill. Food is extremely filling, rich, and in huge servings. Very limited seating inside majority of the seating is outside by the patio area. Had a great time here; definitely recommend for comfort eats.

Google
Best Hawaiian chickwn burger ive had in many years. Great service and great tasting dood. This is a hidden jewel in barrio logan, lots of tables to sit outside. Parking might be limited. If you haven't been here, you got to!!! Their food is delicious and flavorful.

Google
Came here for food while visiting Thorn Brewery. Parking is difficult because it's all street parking. Ordered the Cuban sandwich and a burger week special (sliders). The sliders were delicious!!! The Cuban was decent, but didn't have a lot of flavor to it. The staff was quick and friendly. I would definitely come back again

Google
The whole place is a vibe. Excellent food and service. Rachel was amazing. My boyfriend love there apple pie. Must try. It’s baked in house. The hangover Fries definitely to share with ppl. The lobster roll is amazing as well. You gotta try there beer on tan. They also have 16oz mix and match for the ipa. You have to try this place. This is a hidden jewel. We sure will be back.

Google
The atmosphere and friendly service from the staff. This is more like a gourmet food at the same price as any regular restaurant or less. The menu is not like most everyone else they use grass fed beef and free range chicken. They are also able to cater to the vegetarians. The portions are large and reasonably priced. This the huevos ranchero fries. This is a must have along with the pulled pork sandwich.

Google
WOW! I mean WOW! We were really hungry so I totally forgot to take pictures of the food. Everything we had was AMAZING! Four of us got the Everyday Burger w/ fries & fresh made lemonade. The burgers were perfectly cooked. The buns were awesome. The fries were plentiful and delicious! We didn't even have the other flavored ones! The lemonade, they squeeze fresh was so good! My mom got the Hawaiian Pollo. She said it was moist and flavorful. She loved it. My SIL got the Mishmash Spring Salad that she loved as well. My brother got the Huevos Rancheros fries. They were massive and there will be more for him to eat later. They were pilled high with yumminess! The owner seemed awesome and all the employees were kind, quick, knowledgeable and accommodating. We will ABSOLUTELY be back! Mishmash is 🔥🔥🔥❣️

Yelp
Oh my, this was good. It was hiding just off the beaten path. Ordering inside was fast and the food hit the table within just a few minutes. I had the mishmash burger, it was fantastic! The beef was juicy and flavorful. The crispy onions on top were a great addition. The fries were next level, salted perfectly. Great food, great service.

Yelp
MishMash looks like a little humble hole in the wall locals place,.. and it is, but it's hiding some delicious food!! Bar menu is some beers on draft and beer, cider and seltzer in the bottle or can. The food menu is mostly burgers and sandwiches although they do have salads and of course good side items including a variety of fries & tostones. There are some veggie and vegan options as well. Big plus on Saturdays they do BBQ too!! My BF and I both got the Medianoche Cuban Sandwich which has "slow braised pork shoulder marinated in mojo, sliced ham, pickles, swiss cheese & mustard on house baked sweet Cuban bread" as they describe it. The sandwich it utterly delicious. If you like cuban sandwiches theirs is crave-able. Since my favorite cuban sandwich shop closed down, Mish Mash's will now be the one that I compare all others too. It rivals any that i have tried in Miami as well. Plus it is served with tostones!! I am in heaven. I can't wait to bring my friends back here to try more food.

Yelp
I was driving by and this place and it caught my eye, so I turned around and had lunch here. I don't have any photos posted because by the time I thought about taking a photo, my burger was gone. This is a no frills joint. Small patio seating which we enjoyed and several tables inside. Bar had some stools. But very cool and it was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. We ordered the MishMash burger and garlic aïoli fries fries. Burger came medium however, we ordered it medium well and it was perfect. The fries come with two dipping sauces that you can choose from. We went with their house ranch and their homemade thousand island. Both were great. Highly recommend. Service was great you order at the front counter and they bring it out to you. Cocktails were abundant if you want water you have to get up and get it yourself. I normally put ketchup on everything but like I said we devoured our food quickly and I never asked for or saw ketchup. So I obviously don't have to have it. The burger and fries were great.

Yelp
If you're a burger fan, you'll love this spot! If you're a non-meat eater, you're a bit limited in choices here. The menu has entrees full of delicious ingredients but I only noticed two veggie options that weren't fries or a salad. I opted to get the Maitake Mushroom Vegan Sandwich, which came with truffle fries. Maitake Mushroom Vegan Sandwich - 6/10. It's a unique sandwich and definitely hearty, but I would have loved it to be a bit saucy since the bread is hard and dry. The mushroom has a nice marinate and the grilled onions are a nice touch, but it was a little bit lackluster for my liking Truffle fries - 5/10. The flavor was definitely there and I loved the cut and texture of the fries, but it had too much oil in my opinion. The music selection here is phenomenal btw. I heard SOAD, Audioslave and Rage Against the Machine among other similar bands. As for parking, it's all street. I saw more spots available on Beardsley Street.

Yelp
This burger spot had the best service to my friend and I. I got the Clinton burger that had goat cheese IN the actual burger patty and that was a whole other level of top tier. My friend got the vegan option that was mushroom I believe and still delicious. For a side I got the tostones with pesto, she got their fries too. Everything was made right in the moment and we got served fast too. Inside the place had good vibes, very chill and suiting at the bar was fun chatting with the bartenders. Definitely want to go back for their Cuban sliders since they ran out!

Yelp
Delicious! I had 3 items on the menu that me and bae shared outside, casual the patio. Customer service is great, the host with blonde hair (wish I got her name) was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful! Such a a dope vibe! 1.) the brisket plate - the brisket is amazing and the sauce makes it even better! Wish they gave a bit more meat to share bc it's hard to lol 2.) cheese Louise burger - so tasty! A solid burger and the meat on point. 3.) wings combo w/ black lagoon sauce. These wings are crispy and made so well. The sauce was unique and with good kick!

Yelp
Must Check this place out. Food is simply delicious. Great variety of options from the local beers to the food. Friendly and attentive service. Great atmosphere with a small hole in the wall intimate feel. Make sure you stop by ASAP.

Yelp
Absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a burger with a runny egg for delivery.... for *delivery.* My expectations were low. Not only was the burger still incredible when it arrived, but the egg somehow arrived unpopped for the perfect egg ooze moment upon first bite. I still haven't been to the physical location so this will be a shorter review. I'm truly just so amazed by how good every bite was AND how well it traveled. If it was this good after a car ride I can't wait until my first time visiting the in-person location. It hasn't happened yet- but it certainly will!

Yelp
I gave them a 3 star review because there's so much potential here.the food was great! The food was good amazing! The pork tasted so good, the flavor was impeccable, my wine was perfect with the food. However; The portions were extremely generous. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was really good but I had to cut it up in small pieces to eat it and had to just eat it with a fork to enjoy it. My partner had the Mac n cheese and brisket and the Mac n cheese and fries were so big he ate one bite and was full (he's 6"3 200lb) portioning was a big issue for our meal and we ate only like a quarter of it. I ordered wine from a glass and the whole system shut down, as in no one knew how to ring it up. When I ordered a second glass I was not acknowledged and had to send my partner to get it for me. Then they thought we had an open tab but we had paid it off. So maybe communicate better with your team. Last but not least the girls helping me order my food was great but when her manager (I assume) came to "help" everyone was confused as to what needed to be done. I run a successful restaurant in the valley and I just think better systems need to be in place operationally. Like I said great place just not ran well.

Yelp
Really nice food, the best burger in San Diego from a fast casual restaurant I highly recommend the smoking Saturday menu with the best brisket and ribs that melts in your mouth, and the Sunday brunch is from another world. The service is really friendly and they make everything in house which makes it really unique
google avatar

Jade P.

Yelp
Katie is dope iiiissshhh. We came for brunch and she is the sweetest. The hangover rib fries are fire. Punk music, bomb food and amazing waitress 10/10. Mimosas are strong too!

Yelp
I can't remember why I was in the area but ended up at Mish Mash. It was a very happy accident because the food was surprisingly good! I ordered the medianoche Cuban sandwich and got the Clinton burger for my hubby. We also ordered a side of fries because you can't enjoy a burger or sandwich without fries.  This was a take-out order so I can't really comment on their service except for the person taking my order. She seemed nice, but also gave off the vibe that she didn't want to be there. I've had plenty of Cubano sandwiches but this was out of this world good! There's no way to describe the first bite, then the next, or the following. It was so flavorful I think I was smiling as I ate it!  Mish Mash ruined Cuban sandwiches for me forever. Now I can only eat it from here.

Yelp
Food service ambiance is always a plus at this spot I live to support small local San Diego business

Kristi B.

Yelp
The recommendations and service by Rachel were spot on! The truffle Mac and Cheese and the Parmesan Fries with their homemade dipping sauce were outstanding... my husband had the No Name burger and it was delicious... a little out of the way but well worth it! The local beer on tap that we selected- Hazy IPA hit the spot... we would definitely recommend this hole in the wall to anyone looking for a delicious bite to eat after a long day at the zoo or after hanging out in the city all day! Food spot on, service exceptional and ambiance low key and local... a gem! 5 stars for the mood, food and Rachel!
google avatar

Yelp
The atmosphere is simple and understated. The food was delicious and the weird Wednesday was the cherry on top of my brunch. Everything seems to be made in house from the brisket to the ranch. Will most likely become my go-to brunch spot in Barrio Logan. Pictured is the brisket sandwich.

Yelp
Best burger , BBQ, and Cubans in town !!! Fun art and a great atmosphere. Kid and dog friendly. This restaurant is a hidden gem that you will regularly revisit.

Yelp
Came here for lunch during a visit to SD during Memorial Weekend 2022 between beach visits (going from one to another). Friend had chosen MishMash because it was a burger place (he loves burgers) and it was doggo friendly (also for their doggo). Upon arrival, parking down the street, we could already hear the music blasting through speakers DIRECTED AT THE RESTAURANT AND OUTDOOR SEATING. We had originally planned to sit outside to enjoy the weather while eating on site but the music was wayyyy too loud for us to even talk or be comfortable. I had ordered a PARMESAN MUSHROOM BURGER which later we had found out it was MADE with parmesan, sautéed white mushrooms and rolled oats !! with a STRAWBERRY LEMONADE. Weirdly the front of house staff seemed a bit unorganized. After I had made my order, the lemonade order was passed on to another person. They had made the drink in a glass cup and walked out looking confused on where to go. After realizing it was mine, I had told him it was to go and he went back to essentially pour it into a plastic cup. Food took a while to get but we got it eventually. Because of the music issue, we ended up walking back to our car and eating it on top of the trunk, away from the loud music. The MARMESAN MUSHROOM BURGER was really flavorful and delicious. I had added an EGG to mine (unsure reasons) Who would have thought it was not a meat patty ?!? Unfortunately, my friend had run into an issue with hers and found a piece of steel wool in her burger, which she promptly had brought back to the restaurant to show them. Apparently the cashier was utterly confused and didn't know what to do, taking a while before going back to ask the kitchen then coming back out to ask if she'd like the burger to be remade... After a bit of time, she got a new one that she got to enjoy and we were on our way. Burger was good but environment was a killer. One of those "its so loud i cant even think straight" scenarios.

Yelp
MishMash is the perfect little hole in the wall in Barrio Logan! Right across the street from a local birria spot, it's a hidden but perfect nook to grab a burger (or really anything off their menu) and enjoy a beer on a hot day. They even have a smoker right out front, where they cook their amazing ribs early in the morning so they're ready to go for lunch! I brought my laptop and did some work on their patio with a beer in hand and was living the dream. The general manager there, Alfredo, was so fun to chat with, and enjoys the local chatter and getting to know his regulars, so it was such a lovely personable experience. It's your local neighborhood eclectic joint and perfect for any occasion you need. Highly recommend. P.S. Their truffle fries.. YUM.
google avatar

Sergio G.

Yelp
Decent place to eat. The burgers are average, nothing really special to them. Decent flavor and size for the cost. Burger 3/5: decent flavor, needs more seasoning. And one patty came out just about raw. Sauces 4/5: they have great dipping sauces but they do charge extra. About 3 sauces for $1 which isn't too bad. Fries 1/5: Had the fries with egg. The bowl was large and filled with fries so great presentation. But the fries were very hard. Lacked flavor. The only thing we enjoyed was the egg on top. Would definitely skip the fries. Seating 5/5: Plenty of seating and the staff was very nice

Yelp
Came here for lunch during one of the days we were visiting San Diego. We chose MishMash because it had high reviews and it was dog friendly. When we arrived, they had an event going on? I think they had live music playing and I think they mentioned that they play once a week or something to that matter? Honestly, it was way too loud for us. So we opted to order to-go instead. My husband got the Cheese Louise with added avocado while I decided to get the Parmesan Mushroom Burger. I actually didn't realize that the mushroom burger was vegan until later. It is amazingly delicious and super flavorful. However, I found a little surprise in my burger. There was a piece of steel from one of those cleaning steel wools. How did it get in the burger? No clue. I was pretty upset. Thankfully, we were eating the food at our car so we weren't far. I walked right on back to show them what I found. The cashier I talked to was mostly surprised and looked like a deer caught in headlights. He went to talk to the kitchen staff before coming back to ask me, "Did you want us to remake the burger for you?" Well, that would be a good start, to say the least. I was offered a free drink from another staff member, which was nice. But overall, I think their response to the situation was pretty unorganized and a bit nonchalant. My husband's burger was free from issues and my friend's mushroom burger did not have added steel either. I guess I was just unlucky. Good food but I wouldn't be back just due to the experience I had.

Yelp
Small eatery in Barrio Logan. The outside has a few seats for some good people watching. You order at the counter so no table service. When I was there during lunch the inside was very cold and the music was a little too loud so I took an outside seat. The menu was eclectic was a verity of sandwiches and burgers. I ordered the No Name which was a hamburger patty with shredded bbq rib and deep fried onions on a brioche bun. The hamburger was amazing but the fries we soggy limp and greasy. It was sad to have such a bad side with such a good burger. All in all a great place to grab a good burger and perhaps a drink.
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
This place is amazing. Probably the best Cuban Sandwich you've ever had. Great beer selection and great service. Aside from the food, they also play the best music. If you're into 80/90's 91X tunes you'll be in heaven. Definitely be back.
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing wow Do yourself the biggest favor and eat here. The prices are amazing and the food is even better. 10/10

Yelp
My wife found this place online cuz she knew I was going to be down near Barrio Logan. They have a good service for to go food and some nice seating inside also. My wife and my grandson both liked the burger and veggie burger but my sandwich was the Cuban sandwich and I give it 5 plus stars! I thought I was watching the movie Chef all over again and getting the real deal! Call Tito Fuentes and tell him to set up his group on the sidewalk out front!
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
I really like their burgers! Great spot to go with friends or co-workers. Try their sangrias! They seem to have a different flavor every-time I came and they all taste great. The everyday burger special is plenty of food for anyone. Fries are really good too and they give you a lot.
google avatar

Jamie L.

Yelp
We were driving by and the amazing aroma coming from their huge outdoor grill stopped us in our tracks. We were on our way to an appointment but had to backtrack afterwards to try this little amazing place. The food was delicious! We had various kinds of burgers and the hangover fries which were topped with the most tender bbq rib meat ever. It was so flavorful and the portions and burgers are HUGE!!! It cost almost $100 for four of us but they were generous portions. They have indoor or outdoor seating so you could bring your fur babies if you'd like.
google avatar

Yelp
I was just searching the area for food nearby to eat and came across MishMash. Everything on the menu looked like a delicious variety of dishes from around the world and my wife and I were intrigued so we ordered. We ended up ordering the Banh mi, the bechamel gruyere and parm mac, and truffle fries. All were excellent, even the banh mi was delicious too. The restaurant's name is deserved and they do a good job of serving up chef-inspired food that is delicious. I'll definitely come back.
google avatar

Vinh N.

Yelp
This place is a MUST try if you're in the area. Decided to get the truffle fries and some chicken sandwich (i forgot the name) buuuut both were very worth the price. Their food was very tasty and gave a very generous amount of fries! will definitely be coming back again soon

Yelp
Love this spot ! Was in town for work and found this gem. Was really coming in for a great burger but decided to go with the medianoche con tostones.. Being for Miami I was a bit skeptical but went with my gut and thank goodness I did. The entire staff is super friendly and really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Awesome restaurant check them out soon. Till next time!

Yelp

Yelp
We've only been here once while visiting San Diego for a weekend. Loved and attacked every dish we ordered. Just delicious and decadently flavorful. Almost sinful but satisfying. We will return especially on a Saturday to experience their freshly smoked brisket. Don't miss this treat of San Diego!!

Joseph M.

Yelp
Every Saturday night we head over for the smoked brisket. Never disappoints. The bechamel Mac & Cheese is delicious. The slaw is fine--it won't blow your hair back but it pairs nicely with the brisket. Decent draft beer selection but if you're into sangria, give their homemade version a try (it comes in their house bottle.). We prefer the white sangria which is tasty. From our seats at the bar we got some great views of the sunset.
google avatar

Miguel S.

Yelp
Awesome place to eat for lunch or a quick bite. I had a Cuban sandwich and a lemonade and they both were delicious. The girl in the front was very nice and helpful.
google avatar

Yelp
Overpriced for basic burgers and wings. Smelled like a gas station bathroom in there. Would not recommend

Yelp
I always try to frame San Diego reviews as one that a visitor would read and make a decision based on what a local says. But I'm almost hesitant to say anything about Mishmash. As in, I'd want to not check in, not say I've been here, and quietly hope no one from out of town hears about this place. Why? Because they're good. They're San Diego good. They're so San Diego good, that you almost want them to be local's only. But that's not probably fair. It's a local spot, good, filling food. The appearance down plays how good the food is, as in, you're not gonna expect the taste you get. They've got a variety of burgers, fries and from the looks of the menu, they keep a rotation of items to keep you coming back. The staff, despite covid rules, are friendly and fast. The place is almost stylish like some places you'd see downtown, but it's really just got it's own vibe. The location is just out of the way enough that visitors would likely never wander by. I've been through here and barely noticed it. It's now a favorite for big meals and fries. It's bound to be, if not, it already is, a local spot that's a favorite with - us locals.

Kyra B.

Yelp
We love mishmash whenever in barriologan after art shows or just further south in SD. Owner is very kind and there is consistent food quality. The Cubano or harrissa chicken is my favorite. Can't wait for them to open again!
google avatar

Nic W.

Yelp
BLUF: Parking sucks (street parking only), the place is small, great atmosphere, super nice employees, decent food, semi-convenient location. I came to MishMash with some coworkers for a work function (read: after-hours get together), and there were about 12-15 of us. The area inside is quite small, but it's cute. There is a bar area that can seat around 6-8 people, and then on the opposite side, there are some high bar tables and some regular 4-person seating tables. The place is overall decent, and I would go back.
google avatar

Tonya R.

Yelp
Came here after a day of volunteering with some colleagues at a nearby school. We each ordered some different and oh man everything that came out was amazing. The portions are big so beware but food was delicious. I had the sw chicken salad and the lettuce to chicken portion was perfect and I love the flake tortilla crisps on top. Everyone really scarfed down their food. The atmosphere is unique. It has indoor/outdoor seating and you can tell this is a locals fave to come grab a drink after work. The service was good and very friendly. Would for sure come back again next time I'm in the area.

Pranjali S.

Yelp
Yum!! This food was delicious! They are open to dining in. We went on a Thursday afternoon so there was no rush at all. We sat in a corner away from the 4 other groups that were spread out in the indoor and outdoor sections. Each table as a number and instructions to order online or you can walk up to the counter and order. We ordered at the counter because the online thing said take out only. I got the pollo a la plancha burger, the other guests got the cheese Louis and the challa mata loaded fries. The chicken was really really good! Super yummy. Not too big so pretty easy to finish. This is one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The cheese Louis was also very delicious as per my friends - looked a little bigger than mine but easy to finish. The fries were loaded - with everything you can think of, and topped with some avocado. While we shared the fries, I ended up taking them home as it was really hard to finish it all. Overall, great food, good experience and will go out more if this is how dine in is now.

Matt C.

Yelp
Very good pub food at reasonable prices for San Diego. For $13, you get a nice 1/3 pound hamburger with plenty of fries and their homemade lemonade. My wife had the chicken wing platter ($12). Best of all, the orders are at the counter so you don't have to tip, saving even more money!
google avatar

Joseph E.

Yelp
During my visit to SD this was the last restaurant we came to. Everything we tried was really delicious! My boyfriend had the Clinton burger and I had a chicken sandwich (forgot the the name) with pineapple. We had margaritas and it tasted fresher than the stuff you get at the super market. The atmosphere was really chill and the patrons were definitely friendly. I definitely recommend coming here.
google avatar

Yelp
Great eats in the Barrio. Don't go there expecting a low calorie meal, but save your appetite! Excellent bbq and a good beer selection.
google avatar

Yelp
First time! Was recommended this spot by trusty friends and it did not disappoint (although I wish the drink menu was larger). The Cuban sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. First of all, it's huge and it's cooked to perfection. I don't like pickles but I make the exception for Cuban sandwiches and this is my favorite so far. The plantains (?) that were included were also bomb. Chimichurri? Loved it. It's probably spelled wrong anyway. The menu is pretty expansive. I'm glad I got to visit. I also was pleasantly surprised I enjoyed this dark beer as much as I did. Would definitely come again

Yelp
If you woke up with Betty Page-esque someone in your bed and they nudge you and say, "wow you where amazing last night, I'm going to make you a burger, and truffle fry's. Then we can go another round." That F%#*~N burger truffle fry is made here. It's a very sexy place indeed and the food is lips, hips, and sips. This place did nothing but impress the hell out of me and who am I, "just a dude standing next to a dude that looks like another dude." RDJ the menu is easy on the eyes and the lemonaid was from the teats of a mermaid. Should you go here, yes because throwing 1 dollar bills on the ground isn't really that sexy, but getting aioli on your clothes in the same pattern as Lewinsky when you nom-nom the Clinton just might be a better way to spend your coin. - yep yep indeed

Yelp
Nice little eclectic place located in Barrio Logan. I wouldn't have known about this place until my boss and co-worker went to lunch last week and they kept ranting and raving about how good their lobster roll was. So, after a project walk, I made my boss take me the following week to try their lobster roll which they luckily still had on their menu. The lobster roll was good but not the best I ever had. It had plenty of lobster meat but had too much mayonnaise and celery that took away from the supposed sweetness of the lobster. I tend to like my lobster rolls on brioche and lightly seasoned so I can get the full fresh taste of the lobster. The house cut truffle fries that came with the lobster roll were plentiful and tasted awesome but I found myself very thirsty for the remainder of the day. I was much more enamored with the grilled yellow fin salad my boss ordered which was a large fish steak grilled to perfection. It tasted very fresh and seared just right. They have a great looking menu and I look forward to coming back and trying other items off the list.
