Miso Taco - Cambie

This Miso Taco offers a unique Japanese-Mexican style taco concept. There are many flavors to choose from. We tried the fish taco, the chashu taco, and a noodle burrito, along with the grilled octopus skewer and fries. Overall, the food was very good. The staff also gave us a variety of sauces so we could try different flavor combinations, which was a nice touch. It’s a great spot for hanging out with friends and sharing different dishes.

Great Japanese-Mexican fusion restaurant. I tried the teriyaki beef and pork chashu burrito, and it was fantastic. The house specialties are definitely worth trying. The food was top quality, and the cocktails paired perfectly with the sake liquors. The decor was vibrant, and the service was kind and attentive. I’ll be back for sure 👍

This place is SO DELICIOUS!! I was really surprised how good this fusion was. We didn't know what to ask for because they were running out of many dishes... but the waitress gave us good recommendations. The food quality was very good. We went on a Sunday night and was pretty busy, we didn't wait but was the last table available. The atmosphere can be overwhelming, just because so many tables and even the place is big, it gets loud. Easy to find parking so I would go back, if you want to try something different and delicious I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a great dinner at Miso Taco. The place was full and vibe was amazing. This was our first visit so we didn’t know what to expect. Our server Gabi was awesome - she helped us figure out what to order and her recommendations were brilliant. The tacos with fresh fusion sauces are so good. Our standout favourites the pork carnitas and tuna tacos.

I recently visited Miso Taco and was really impressed. It’s a great and unique combination of Mexican and Japanese cuisine. Our favorite dish was the birriadilla absolutely delicious, with rich and well-balanced flavors. The sauce was very tasty, although slightly salty, which could be improved. The atmosphere depends on the time you go. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy, but overall it was good. The service was amazing, I believe our server’s name was Kenia and she was truly 10/10: very friendly and attentive. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced for the quality. We would definitely come back to enjoy these dishes again. Highly recommended!

Came here on a Thursday night around dinner time and it was busy. I had to wait 30mins. The food was good. The kimchi fries was very good. I would recommend. I got the mega burrito and it was definitly mega. I could not even finish half. The service can be better though. I don’t know if it was because they were busy but it was definitly lacking.

Ok food at a reasonable price. The mini nachos were delicious. The birria-dilla was good. The miso tacos 2.0 were very fishy and not very appetizing. The only server got overwhelmed when more diners came in and everything became pretty slow.

Miso Taco is such a fun spot with really creative Mexican-Japanese fusion that actually works. The tacos are flavorful and well balanced, and the salsa selection really stood out—lots of different options with varying heat and depth, so you can customize everything to your taste. Everything felt fresh, the vibe was lively, and service was friendly. Definitely one of my favourite taco spots in Vancouver. Get all sauces when you are there. Will not regret.
