Miso Taco

This was one of the most flavorful meals I've had in a long time. The service was excellent! The staff were super friendly, engaging, and really knowledgeable about the menu. When I asked about the dishes, they didn’t just say "it’s good" — they explained the hints of flavor and sold me on the experience. I was totally convinced. We tried the cheese dip and added the teriyaki beef which had a nice kick, their tasty birria tacos with a flavourful dip , the amazing chicken karaage tacos that had a great crunch with a drizzle of deliciousness, and kimchi nacho fries which was a nice mix. The miso soup was incredibly rich in flavor, with big chunks of tofu. They also have a kids' menu! The flavors were absolutely bursting in every dish. The place was busy, so be prepared for a lively vibe. It felt young and energetic, and honestly, it could’ve used a DJ — though we went on a weeknight, so not sure if they have one regularly. The mix of Japanese and Mexican flavors was such a great combo. I just wish they had a location in Langley. But honestly, it's totally worth the drive. We’ll definitely be back!

Stopped in for a quick bite between appointments. Cool spot with great music, super fresh food and great staff. The Happy Hour 'Set of Tacos + Beer for $20 was a bargain. I ordered the Tuna Tataco (recommended by the bartender) and was surprised at how damn good they were! Wildeye Stout was a good dance partner! If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular! Be sure to check this place out! Sit at the bar!

Great mix of cuisine and had some of the best tacos ever. The teriyaki tacos with the avacado salsa were the best and everything was reasonably priced as well. Service was really quick and the staff were super friendly. I would highly recommend visiting as it a great spot for a date night or to have a big group dinner with friends. Aaron was a great bartender curating the best cocktails.

Miso Taco was not a good experience for us. The restaurant was extremely crowded and noisy, making it impossible to have a proper conversation. Even with just six of us, we couldn’t hear each other over the noise. I didn’t enjoy the tacos at all, they fell short of expectations. The only highlight was the Kimchi Nachos Fries with Chicken as an add-on, which was not bad. Overall, the atmosphere and food didn’t impress me. I’m sorry, but I wouldn’t go there again.

“The tacos here are incredible—beyond your usual taco experience! The street-style recipe is amazing, and even the nachos are unique, with homemade potato and kimchi. I especially loved the nachos and the flavor of the tacos. The service was a bit awkward; we didn’t have a specific server, and they initially forgot to add beef to our nachos. However, they brought it out in a bowl afterward, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the noise level; it gets quite loud when everyone is talking, which can be a bit overwhelming. Despite the noise, I’ll definitely come back for those fantastic tacos!”

We stopped by before heading to the theater, and WOW—this place blew us away! Everything was just incredible—the food, the service, the vibes. Kenia, our server, was an absolute gem! She was so helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. The other servers who swung by were super friendly and fun, which made the whole experience even better. We tried the Birria-dilla, Ramen My Wrap, and, of course, the mochi churros. Oh, and as if the food wasn’t amazing enough, they were playing my favorite anime—Hunter x Hunter and Detective Conan! The whole experience was beyond amazing. Can’t wait to come back and relive it all again. Highly recommend!

The food quality is pretty low for the price. You get neither a Mexican nor a Japanese food. The fusion of the recipes is not flavorful. Chopped white onion and green onions are the dominant ingredients in most menu items.

Not bad! I have to say it’s very creative, however, some dishes are salty or too spicy. I would recommend the server wearing at least similar style or color of the clothes.
