The 38 Best Restaurants in Vancouver, Canada | Eater

"This loudly bustling spot on Cambie blends Japanese and Mexican cuisines. Chashu-style carnitas shine in gloriously messy tacos thanks to meltingly tender, just-fatty-enough pork and zippy pineapple relish. Load up the kimchi-nacho fries with birria and a fried egg, and obviously add instant ramen to your birria-dilla consomé. There’s also a daily happy hour, which offers well-priced cocktails, tacos, and an intriguing combo of shrimp crackers and guacamole. Must try dish: It’s almost worth having a hangover just to enjoy the reviving properties of the Mexican Oyakodon at brunch." - Nikki Bayley

Miso Taco is such a fun spot with really creative Mexican-Japanese fusion that actually works. The tacos are flavorful and well balanced, and the salsa selection really stood out—lots of different options with varying heat and depth, so you can customize everything to your taste. Everything felt fresh, the vibe was lively, and service was friendly. Definitely one of my favourite taco spots in Vancouver. Get all sauces when you are there. Will not regret.

Food was great! Really unique menu, especially when it came to the desserts. Birria Dilla was really good! Squid Skewers were very good as well! Everything we had was really good there. Service can be improved upon. We were there when they opened at 12pm on a Saturday. The male server, I believe he's the manager or operator there, was super nice and patient. However, as soon as the female server came in for her shift, the service was gone. She paid no attention to the patrons whatsoever. Not good. We'll be back for the food tho. Cheers!

I unfortunately believe this did not live to the expectations and the hype! Maybe I chose the wrong dish but I felt like what we ate, the Poke Bowl and the Ramen Wrap were a bit underwhelming, plain flavours and dry, they needed some sauce! The service was good, the environment was okay and the prices were also okay!

Walked in and seemed crazy busy but the bartender was so nice! I think his name was Carlos? But he provided such great service it really started off our entire experience great. I usually don’t like mocktails but the ones he made were beyond delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

The tacos are good (one order comes with 3 tacos). 100% would get the tuna taco again. The kimchi nachos are a bit heavy 🧀, I recommend that you have at least 4 people to share this with. The flan was good but I didn’t taste the Houjicha part much. 🥲 Depending on how busy it is, it can be quite loud inside.

Went for my wife's birthday, our fourth time. She loves the kimchi nacho fries and I love the tuna tacos.

Their Tuesday deal is a solid one. Buy any two taco sets and get the third free, which definitely helps with the pricier side of things. I was surprised by how well the Japanese flavours blended into the tacos, unique combos, but they really work. • Teriyaki Cheesy Taco - teriyaki style beef, crispy cheese crust, green onion, cilantro & chipotle mayo • Ebi Fried Taco - ebi, shredded cabbage topped with pickled red onions, chopped cilantro & secret sauce • Chasiu Style Carnitas Taco - pork carnitas served with spicy mayo, chopped onions, cilantro & pineapple relish

Came for the Birria, fell for the Chasu tacos! We did not make any reservations but we were able to get a seat at the bar! (It was just very very hot inside) I love the vibe of the whole place! There's anime playing on the screens and the neon signs completes the whole aesthetic! I don't drink, but this place does have a full first page menu of drinks! We were craving birria so we decided to come here. Unfortunately, the meat too salty (I guess it's a preference). The sauce is good though!! We also ordered kimchi fries and it was good portion. The Chasu tacos were the main show! I recommend getting it with a hotter salsa!
