So good! Friendly staff. Good selection of food. Gluten free options. I had the hash and eggs And the avocado toast with gluten free bread. My daughter had a breakfast burrito. No complaints :)

Great food, attentive service, reasonable prices. Great room space in back of main diner so there’s always tables available. Sourdough & Gluten free options for pancake or waffles and it didn’t taste like cardboard like usual gluten free products. Delicious!

Okay, so this is not an ad—just a genuine shoutout because I left this place smiling. I stopped by Lorraine’s Diner kind of on a whim, and I swear, it felt like discovering a hidden gem. The food was way better than I expected—like, that kind of comforting, made-with-love type of meal that makes you wanna call your grandma after. Service? 10/10. The staff were kind, quick, and actually seemed happy to be there (which is rare these days). And the spot itself? Cozy, nostalgic, and just cute enough to make you wanna stay for one more coffee. If you’re ever near the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. You’ll thank me later.

Today was my first time going to Lorraine's Diner as I am a typical Rhode Islander and usually go to my local spots. I am excited that we found this restaurant! Food was delicious and service was great. I originally thought that the restaurant was only the diner portion but soon realized that the people who kept walking by were going to an actual restaurant. Reminded me of a secret back door restaurant. We will definitely visit again!

Place is great try the buffalo maple chicken and waffle, pretty waitress to boot !

Its a cool vibe with a food thats better than your typical diner, but, it still is a diner.

Our first time here... Pleasantly surprised how this location was. Loved the diner antique look but the back was huge, plenty of room for big parties. Great experience from the waitresses even though there was only three, It took longer than expected but food was great. We had hot chocolates, coffee, huevos rancheros, avocado toast, Florentine eggs & for the kids just the 2 eggs special.

This place is super cute! I came here on my way to the electronic pinball machine. The outside is a standard steel diner, but it's much bigger on the inside. Our server was eager to help us learn the menu, and i was pleased with the speed things came out. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were cooked well, and they had a lovely color. Unfortunately, I didn't taste too much lemon or ricotta, but they were still delicious. I just felt they weren't exactly what I wanted. Looking forward to coming here again!

This was utterly horrible food. I tried the namesake "Miss Lorraine Burger." What came out was an uninspired mess: a greasy patty with a mound of the toppings (carmelized omions, mushrooms, bacon) tasteless as they were lifeless, and a soggy bun. It came with no dressings and I had to ask for mustard instead if it already being on the table. The onion rings I had on the side had no flavor or enticing texture. The pickle was just gross. To top off the experience, they couldn't even get the soda right--it was flat. I wanted to like this place because it is a unique building and the servers are friendly. But oh my gosh I can't believe how bad that meal was. I put $20 on the table and walked away with the meal unfinished. What a waste!

Really consistent and yummy. Wish there was more EVEN MORE vegan options, than just a few things. I'd come back more. Avocado toast, and fresh fruit, we also split some breakfast potatoes. I love hot black coffee at diners. The women who work here are very kind and attentive.

First time at Lorraine; late breakfast with family. Plenty of parky out front. Quick and friendly service. I thought it would be small but they have a back room that accommodates big parties. There were 8 of us and we got sat quickly. We ordered pancakes for the kids and they made them Mickey mouse shaped! We also got hungry man special, steak and eggs and 2 egg specials. Everything was delicious

We love diner food and drive past here often. I love the whole vibe of this place and the throwback to the 1950's - someone did an amazing job of restoring this place and it shows. They even added a 'back room' bar and booth area that can be used for private parties or if you're looking for a more 'modern' dining experience. The food is good and is a reasonable price, the service is friendly, not much to complain about here.

This Diner nestled in the Mills of Pawtucket is a gem of a place that served breakfast and lunch. I had a special Pulled Pork Omelette and it was just as good as it sounds. The Back-Room off the Diner is a pleasant place to be and the server was friendly and attentive. I would give it a 4.3 , certainly worth a visit and I'm looking forward to going back and trying something for lunch!

The Huevos Rancheros was perfectly cooked, at first I was a little annoyed about how long I was waiting to be served, but when it came out, I recognized the complexity of the process. The preparation was top notch and every element cooked top of the line. Been a long time since they opened when I had my order redone, but now everything is running smooth. I ordered an iced coffee with my meal, the waitress refreshed it when it was needed. Good Experience. Yes, they had Tabasco Sauce

I have visited several times. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly. Food is delicious and comes out of the kitchen in a timely manner. You can sit in the well preserved old dining car or in the modern hidden dining room. I recommend the breakfast burrito or huevos rancheros!

Excellent service- I was waiting for someone, and while I waited, every single person that came out of the back asked if I was being helped. The servers were wicked busy and clearly excellent at their jobs, they were super friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, and it is very obvious that there is a very loving and intimate community there between clients & the people who work there. A rare gem

The weight staff are very friendly, and our dining area was clean. This is not the first time we have eaten there, but it is the first time where I've been a bit disappointed with the food and service. It took approximately 25 minutes for our breakfast to be delivered, and this was only after we stopped a staff person and asked her to check on it. Then we waited another 10 minutes for the food to finally get there.

Went to breakfast with bestie and husband. I used to love breakfast but now I just prefer a break sandwich! My husband as always gets the HungryMan if they have it! Linda got a western omelette. They both liked their food except the pancakes were not what we are used to. Not sure if they use regular pancake mix but we felt like it was a different kind of mix. I got a stack of pancakes but only took a few bites because they were not good. The service was good that day!

Not great but not terrible either . Pretty average diner food . Was excited for lemon ricotta pancakes but they just tasted like regular pancakes honestly . My Greek omelet was good . They make their hot chocolate with water

Such a wonderful addition to this part of Pawtucket - or any part of any city. Miss Lorraine is a beautifully refurbished railroad diner car with a large and bright attached back room for larger parties and/or the overflow crowd. I'm saying BEAUTIFULLY refurbished - gleaming stainless steel and period-looking granite counter tops for the counter seats. The benches in the diner car are comfy and built for modern American bodies, meaning the seats are wide and long enough to fit a party of four adults (without bulky coats and bags). The back room has a mix of booths, tables, and a counter. It is gorgeous in here! Miss Lorraine is open traditional diner hours (early morning until 2pm) and has what at first glance looks like a traditional diner menu. But. The quality of the food is elevated; this is the best cheese omelet my husband says he's ever had (no greasy mess on the plate when he's finished eating, the perfect balance of cheese to egg) and the avocado toast is superior as well - I think I may have had the equivalent of two avocados under the optional egg topping! Pancakes are not overly sweet, the home fries are well seasoned and not the uniform-out-of-a-package chunks we've had in a few other local breakfast spots. The coffee is good and is regularly replenished by the friendly and attentive staff. Since we've started coming here, I haven't been back to that other Pawtucket diner that I can literally walk to in 2 minutes from my house. Despite the other place's creative (and award winning) French toast and other sweet breakfast items, for us the atmosphere and omelets at Miss Lorraine rule. I have only one and a half smallish less positive observations to offer: the dining car can be chilly since the air conditioning blows from vents below the counter seating (so your ankles get cold), and because it's a diner car - the door opens directly into the dining space. Also, like nearly every other restaurant since covid began, they are sometimes short staffed. If the servers are in the back room and you're in the dining car (or vice versa), you may need to wait a bit longer than you'd like to get the bill and pay. Other than this, no complaints here.

Adorable retro diner! Had a great breakfast with my beau. The parking lot was full and we were expecting it to be packed on a Saturday, but it wasn't. There must be other businesses in the building that people are going to. Be very careful in the parking lot... we had a hard time backing out. Small spaces. The food was good. Hash browns were amazing. My eggs florentine was pretty good. My beau loved his chorizo omelette. The only flavored coffee they had was blueberry which was interesting. Hoping to come back another time!

The boys pounced upon ye ole Ms Lorraine train for a bfast that would delight even the most pretentious of bfast goers. The gang lit up like Rudolph's nose when they spotted the diner off in the distance. We sat down and ordered our meals of choice whilst sipping on some joe. Did not disappoint!!!!! My cousin and I stopped for breakfast today. Her order came out and Mine came out ten minutes later. It is obvious that there is not enough staff to handle the people sitting in the diner and the back room. Very disappointed.

Wonderful and classic diner! Came here on a Saturday early morning and thankfully it wasn't busy yet. We were seated right away, and service was great! I ordered The Hungry Man which came with scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, and a small stack of pancakes - yum!

Cute place, and the food is actually "100% diner" if you get what I mean. It's fine, but that is as good as it gets.

I started watching a series on classic diner cars recently and have been visiting some in the last few weeks as a result. I'm quite lucky there's so many in New England and the Miss Lorraine Diner is a real showstopper. Situated in a beautiful 1941 Worcester Streamliner and connected to the Lorraine Mills, the location and aesthetic cannot be beat. The service is incredible and so fast! It's got all your diner staples plus some local favorites like crab cakes and chorizo. I had the Fall River omelette which was SO DELICIOUS. Will absolutely be back again soon!

I ended up getting the lemon ricotta pancakes which were excellent and very filling. I came with some friends who were pretty p cheap especially compared to some of the big chain diners like cracker barrel and IHOP. Service was very good. There was a bit of a wait on Sunday for brunch but nothing too crazy. They have plenty of parking as well. If I was in the area I would definitely come and check it out

Only 3 miles and a 10 minute drive from the Ballys Twin River Casino. Located in an old factory building. Size is misleading; from the outside it looks like an old diner car, small but once inside there's a larger dining room with a bar in back. All of it, diner car included, has been recently renovated and is very nice. Food was well cooked; my eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked, my husband's "choose your own" omelette was also very good, and there's even a bagel with lox and capers menu item. Staff was smiling, friendly and proud of their establishment. A good choice.

Met a friend here on a Thursday for my favorite meal... Breakfast! So, firstly, they do have a very narrow parking lot. I couldn't find a spot in the lot that morning, so I ended up parking a little further down on the street. I was a little nervous because there are a few No Parking signs on the street, so I was hoping where I parked was okay. One of the waitresses told me some people were parking across the street in the lots there, but I guess the business owner got mad at the diner for that, so I don't recommend doing that. Anyway, I entered through the front door... very cute old fashioned diner car style... and they also have a large room in back! So, a lot larger than it looks from the outside. My friend arrived and she also ended up parking on the street. We sat down in the back dining area... waitress promptly brought us coffees and took our order. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I have to say it was very good. My friend had eggs, hash and french toast. She also enjoyed her meal. They also have a couple of other offerings that I'd like to try such as Lemon Ricotta pancakes and Stuffed french toast and some of the Benedicts... Overall, I liked it... I'll be back!

Super new place in a great location! When I was a kid there was a breakfast place my Mom would take me to in this complex. Lorraine's has a good vibe. Young crew, super clean kitchen (I peaked in), decent menu choices and prices. It's new so I would love to see some more decor to make Lorraine's more personable. The food was good for breakfast but nothing that was amazing! I feel like it needs a couple signature dishes to really draw people in. I can share we were seated immediately but told they were behind in the kitchen and had to wait 40 mins for the food. My husband and I were having a lunch date sans our daughter so we had no place to be. It was closer to 1pm so not in the morning Rush. Just a heads up but I am sure they are still working out the kinks. I will be back.

Great new spot that open on Mineral Springs. I watched them work on it for months so I was excited to see that it finally opened, Stopped in for breakfast on their first weekend open and was impressed. I wasn't the only one excited to try it as the place was packed. The new staff did a great job working through any just opened kinks and gave us great service. I went with The Hungry Man (eggs, potatoes, substituted the homemade corned beef hash and a small stack of pancakes). Eggs were a perfect over easy, a very solid corned beef hash and the potatoes (a great example if a breakfast place gets it) were great, thoroughly cooked with a little crispiness on a couple of the sides. The pancakes were also very good. My buddy got the Breakfast Burrito (his indicator of haw good a place is). He really enjoyed it ( the only criticism was the wrap of the burrito could have been better since the wrapped end opened up). The bit I had was tasty. I will definitely be back for lunch and dinner. The menu for breakfast and lunch offered a number of options, many of which I look forward to trying.

I left feeling satisfied. The ambiance is great--you can chose between a typical old school diner experience or a more modern look with their two different seating areas. It's actually a lot bigger on the inside than it appears. The food was good and the prices were fair. I had the Miss Loraine so it came with two eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, and toast. I wasn't a big fan of the sausages, maybe they needed a little more salt or a little more cooking. It's a new place though so they are doing great so far.

Food was really better then expected I ordered the fresh turkey sandwich with a side order of stacked pancakes both were a 9/10 place looked very nice waiters were exceptional overall a 5 star for me highly recommended. Ps. Ask for the back for bigger seats

Lovely breakfast with a vintage ambiance that is still clean and immaculate. There's even a back dining area aside from the dining car that's pretty spacious. They don't have a huge menu but have unique things. Lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy, lemony with zest you can see. Really good, just could have been a tad fluffier. Chicken and waffles were delicious. They came with candied bacon. Chicken was flavorful and cooked well. Waffle was the perfect texture, slightly spongey and crisp on the outside. Also got the simple eggs with toast and home fries. I like my home fries really crispy, so I felt like it needed more of that.

Delicious food and friendly waitstaff! Highly recommend the avocado toast, huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito however- the service is really slow so if you're in a hurry I would not recommend! Don't let the crowded parking lot fool you- it's very misleading

Fabulous Breakfast and Lunch at this place. This is my favorite breakfast and lunch place in this area. It's one of the original Worcester Lunch Car Company diners and I love diners. This diner is unique because through the side door in the back, you enter a modern bar area with additional seating. So there is lots of room to spread out and feel safe during this pandemic. The breakfast menu is extensive and they often have specials too. Ask for Amanda, she's my favorite waitress and she is the mastermind for some of the breakfast combinations. Their lunch menu is also fabulous. They make great salads and sandwiches. They also have the really crisp fresh pickles. It's the most important garnish. The food comes out quick. Coffee is excellent. Can't say enough - you should definitely check it out. First time here. My wife and I enjoyed our breakfast. The staff was great. Very friendly waitress. The food was great. Cooked to perfection. Even the coffee was good. The outside looks deceiving. We didn't realize how big the inside is. Very roomy and comfortable. Take the time and stop in. You won't be disappointed.

We walked in and sat ourselves at the bar. Never got asked if we needed menus or if we'd been there before. We moved our seats because it was cold where we were sitting at the bar and decided to grab a booth instead. There were menus at the booth we looked at the menus and decided on our food. By this time we had been in there for about 10 minutes and nobody had greeted us, brought us coffee or anything. We were the only people of minority in the diner and when a new table of Caucasian decent walked in they were immediately greeted and got their orders placed soon after. At this point it had been about 20 minutes, we got fed up and walked out and as we walked out is when they wanted to acknowledge us. We ended up going to Modern Diner and immediately got greeted, got our coffees and waters and had our food orders placed within 10 minutes or less. I do not recommend going to Lorraine's if you want good service.

I came in around 8:00pm for dinner about a week after they opened. Much larger than it looks with a small traditional diner car area in the front with a few booths and a long counter, but a large dining room in the back. The owner told me the capacity is 112 between the two rooms. I ordered fish and chips, a standard menu item, and was able to substitute the vegetable of the day, braised cauliflower, instead of cole slaw (which I hate) at no additional charge. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was outstanding in terms of speed, friendliness, and professionalism. It is way above what one expects for "diner food." I was told the haddock is locally sourced, which seemed entirely consistent with its high quality. The fish portion was so large that it broke into two pieces during preparation, for which the server apologized, but I had no complaint as I was planning to cut it up to eat it, anyway. I look forward to trying their breakfast-lunch menu. Be careful about their hours, which are often misstated: the correct hours are M-Sa 6:00am-2:00pm and Su 7:00am-2:00pm for breakfast-lunch, and Tu-Sa 4:30-9:00pm for dinner; that is, there is no dinner Su and M, and they close daily 2:00-4:30pm before dinner.

This diner is a great addition to the area. The hungry man breakfast did not disappoint and was very reasonably priced: $8.50 for two pancakes, bacon, two eggs, potatoes, and toast. My husband had the huevos rancheros and said it was delicious. The avocado was perfectly ripe, which is always a good sign. Love the old school feel of the diner. Service was slow when we were there but it was a holiday so maybe they were understaffed. It looks like their coffee supplier is Downeast Coffee, which has really weak decaf coffee. Only downside!

This place is the absolute best. The hostess is always nice. The seating in the front where the vintage diner car is wonderful. Try the avocado toast! And the prices are soooo reasonable!!! I would chose it over Maria's or Amanda's, which are both good but not as awesome as Miss Loraine.

It's bigger than it looks from the outside. Great brunch menu and solid takeout. I recommend the Belgian Waffles, it's fairly standard but the batter tastes homemade

I ordered this from Uber eats and was waiting 1 hr and 30 mins for my order, I'm sorry but that wait time is absurd

The food is absolutely delicious! Its always on point, fresh delicious. The staff is friendly and and attentive and always remember your face. I recommend this place to everyone!

Disappointing. I had heard great things, but today that wasn't the case. we were told there would be a 15 min wait and were seated 45 mins later. When the meal finally came out of the kitche, it was barely warm and unappealing. No apologies, just a check. Poor service, poor quality, no ambiance.

I came here to pick up some home fries, perhaps this is why I was so rudely treated! I called ahead, arrived , opened the trailer door and stood at the entrance for over 10 minutes. Miss Lorraine's was not busy when I arrived. I watched an employee hold a full conversation as I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes and ignored me. I watched another employee with a tatted sleeve go from the front to the back several times making eye contact with me and ignoring me. Hmm ... then I looked around and finally got it, theyre not surving me because I'm BLACK! So I wait a bit more, sure enough staff look dead at me standing in the door way of this little trailer and not ask me if I wanted to be seated nor if they could take my order. So I left. Called Lorraine's and asked to speak to the manager, manager that I spoke to was Amanda. Amanda decided to gas light me. I asked who owned the place, and for some odd reason Amanda replied, " like the building?" No Amanda the establishment!!!!! Then after sitting on the phone with Amanda who was completely rude, called me a liar, and stated I was not there, decided to give me the owners name. A Michael Arena. I asked how I can contact the owner, and was told she is unable to provide that information to me. No problem Amanda!!!! It is 2023 ! It is embarrassing, unorthodox, demeaning for a RESTAURANTS STAFF TO BE RACIST! As a human being, I KNOW when I'm am being ignored and when there is malicious energy diverted towards me. And then to be brushed off and gas lite is crazy on several levels. If you are black, support black people I encourage you not to spend your money here! Let me be clear, and remind you, our children grow up and are around individuals like ... daily! There's more than enough hate in the world, why spread more???? Because the color of my skin, and not because the content of my character!

I barely do reviews on Yelp because anyone who has been in the restaurant world knows that only amateurs use these reviews for making dining choices. You will not be disappointed with Miss Lorraine's. Their corned beef hash is the best in the state.

I have been wanting to try this diner since I first heard it was opening. Finally got here for breakfast on Sunday morning and they did not disappoint. The counter had open seats so we choose two and did not have to wait long to order coffee. The waitress was polite and quick. The food was all great and they even left the eggs soft instead of just overcooking them. The atmosphere is great, really feels like a diner but when I looked closer I could tell it was very well built. Do not hesitate to stop by the food will not disappoint!
