We had our New Year’s Eve dinner at Miss Mi, and the location is definitely a highlight—close to Marvel Stadium and within walking distance to Docklands. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, which made the experience pleasant from the start.
We ordered the set menu. The kingfish and fried lamb were standouts and absolutely delicious. The barramundi was also excellent. The crab and prawn dumplings were nice, while the beef rendang was just okay. Unfortunately, the chicken had a strange taste that we didn’t enjoy, and the cucumber dish didn’t really stand out. On a positive note, we loved the dessert, and the portions overall were very generous.
I do wish there was more Filipino fusion included in the set menu, such as sisig or caldereta, which would have added more excitement and cultural depth. Although there were a few dishes we didn’t fully appreciate, we would still come back to try the other items we missed. It would also be great if the restaurant provided a clear set menu list, so diners know exactly what to expect rather than guessing which dishes will be served as part of the set.
