My birthday carrot cake always comes from here! So moist, I love the pineapple in there, and the cream cheese frosting is so good. Looks pretty, too! My partner almost tried a new place this year, but I said NOPE! You find a winner, you stick with it.

This sweet little place was recommended to me by my neighbor and what a recommendation it was. They have amazing sweet and savory baked goods. Their coffees are perfect. The service is lovely. And do not sleep on the house made hot sauce! *chef kiss*

Anja was wonderful to work with - she was accommodating and efficient. I was going to add decorations to the cake but they were so pretty we kept them alone! We ordered a coconut, carrot, and hazelnut butter with caramel apple filling. They were all scrumptious! Thanks, Anja!

Cute, intimate coffee shop! Really enjoyed dining indoors with their hefty coffee mugs. Felt like a quintessential Hallmark-movie cafe experience! Our blueberry-lemon cheesecake streusel was yummy - not overly sweet just as we like it! Bacon & pepper jack biscuit was a tad on the dry side, but our matcha latte & cinnamon steamer were delicious!

Miss Zumstein is purely delightful to work with. She is calm, cool, and collected and brought our wedding cake to life. We appreciated their flexibility so much when deciding on our wedding cake and additional offerings. She worked with us to make a vegan olive cake that she had never made before so that we could offer something that was vegan but also one of our personal favorites (It was SO delicious and should be in her regular rotation!) She also added on a flourless chocolate cake last minute to offer to our GF guests. All of the cakes were dressed beautifully and with attention to our requests. We seriously appreciate that Miss Zumstein bakes with quality, seasonal, and local ingredients because it allows for the best flavors to shine through. We also chose to work with them because their recipes are not overrun with sugar, the subtle sweetness to each cake was so tasteful. We highly recommend working with Miss Zumstein for custom cakes, you will love what you see and taste!

I placed a special order for a birthday cake that was a) a rush order - ordered 2 days ahead of pick-up date and b) the cake I asked for wasn't listed on their menu - black forest. I corresponded with Anja and she was very accommodating with both of my requests. Not only did the cake look beautiful but they used local seasonal cherries which made the cake even more delicious and special.

A nice mocha and good selection of in-house baked sweets. Offering both indoor and sidewalk seating. Friendly and efficient staff. Street parking was easy enough to find on a Sunday.

This was my very first Cappuccino in Portland. They served it up right; a quadruple shot with vanilla, foamy, not to dry or wet. BET- I’ll be back tomorrow.
