Excellent food, great service, good prices. All your classic barbecue fair plus some. The service here is top-notch, very friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. I had the brisket, ribs and sausage in a three item sampler plate with a side of mac & cheese and baked beans. The brisket was juicy with an excellent bark, the ribs were tender and flavorful, and the sausage was smoky and bold. The mac & cheese was excellent with good texture and a crumble topping and the baked beans we cooked well with tender beans in a sweet smoky flavor. I will definitely be back here to eat and I would highly recommend for everyone.

Beef brisket (moist) sammies & fries were delicious! Mac & cheese & banana pudding were amazing as well! Everything was soo good. 6 BBQ sauces on table, choose your own style: Memphis belle sauce mixed with smokey was top tier. Food was hot & fresh. Please open in Berrien County! (Stevensville or St. Joe!)

This was our first visit to Mission BBQ and we will definitely be back. We placed an order for pickup. The staff member was very knowledgeable and willing to help us have the best experience possible. We ordered brisket, mac & cheese and fries. When I went in to pick up the order, I added ribs and pulled pork too. The selection of sauces that accompanied this order were absolutely amazing. We had so much fun trying the different flavours. What an amazing experience. We will definitely be back.

Wow just WOW! My dad and I stopped by to check them out because we went next door to Crumbl and saw the meatloaf sign so we had to stop by and check them out and probably the best decision ever made! It’s my birthday today and they were not only so informative with the menu they were so generous!! They gave me and my dad a feee banana puddin and were so attentive all throughout! The food incredible! We come from Texas and are only here for a bit and this was just so amazing! Definitely check out this place because you won’t regret it! The fries and cornbread as well 100/10! Also every sauce we had was so wonderful!

Cashier was quiet but friendly. Brisket sandwich wasn't quite doing it for me. Flavor was missing, just bland if not for the bbq sauce. Meat was good quality, just lacking on seasoning. Don't want to knock it because it was a decent sandwich, but I won't spend 20 on that again. Adding edit. The second to last bite, I did get a taste of that seasoning and it helped a lot.

Ordered over the phone, they told me 5 minutes. Got there waited 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. Paid for my food and had to wait another 5 minutes all the meanwhile my food is just sitting there, not under a heat lamp or anything. Asked for half a pound of brisket and got this mangled mess. Not even a slice. Very disappointing, but shouldn't expect much from a bbq chain.

Google
The food here is DELICIOUS. The sauce, delicious. I had the brisket sandwich. It didn't look like a lot, but I wasn't able to finish my meal. I noticed thst they weigh the meats, which is nice. I ordered the brisket sandwich, lean, potato salad, and banana pudding. Everything was very flavorful. The potato salad had just a tiny bit of heat that you felt at the back of your tongue as an after taste. The potatoes were firm, not too hard, not mushy. It was really nice. The staff came buy checking on us. It was also nice to see the pictures of the different service men and women on the walls.

Mission BBQ absolutely exceeded our expectations! With less than 18 hours’ notice, they catered a company lunch for 25–30 people and everything was flawless. From the moment we reached out, Lyndsay was incredibly responsive, kind, and attentive. She made the entire process smooth and stress free, ensuring every detail was handled with care. The food was absolutely wonderful, hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish was a hit, and our team couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. The portions were generous, and the quality was top-notch. You could truly taste the passion and pride that goes into their food. The Mission BBQ staff went above and beyond to make our last-minute event a success. Their professionalism, warmth, and exceptional service made a lasting impression. We are so thankful to Lyndsay and the entire team and will absolutely be using Mission BBQ again. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was our first visit to a Mission BBQ and wow! For a two-dollar-sign restaurant on Google we did not expect this level of deliciousness. Everything we ordered was excellent, and even my picky toddler was scarfing it down. We all got some variation of a shredded meat entree with sides. The BBQ sauces were all interesting and distinct, with our favorite being the Smoky Mountain. The service was great. We had a few changes throughout the order process and the cashier took it like a champ and didn't miss a thing. For four of us, it was around $60, which is more than reasonable for the amount and quality of food. Their overall theme is support of veterans and service members. We visited on July 3 (they're closed on the 4th) so maybe the patriotism was just in the air but their uniform and helmet decor, veteran videos on the TV, and early-2000s post-911 country songs had us buying in 100%. My husband, a former Marine, even took a bumper sticker to support them all the way back to Michigan. With that being said, based on their staff and clientele, they are happy to host everyone and all feel welcome in their restaurant. Absolute 5-star experience, we will be back the next time we're in the area

Yelp
I was in Mishawaka overnight, and looking to grab something tasty near my hotel. I yelped to find places nearby, and Mission BBQ sounded exactly like what I wanted. The sausage was the big plus here for me. The turkey was also delicious. These are my two favorite smoked meats, so I was delighted to find that I could get a two meat sampler with just these two, and add on a combo with a couple sides and drink. Perfect for me. I chose coleslaw and Mac-N-Cheese. I ordered online, and pick up was super easy. The food was delicious, and enough for two meals. I checked and don't have one near me, but I'll make sure I drop in next time I'm in Mishawaka.

Yelp
For my first time here, just to try, I got the kid's turkey slider with fries and I tried 1 of each of their 6 sauces Fries were definitely fresh cut (not frozen) and delicious. The turkey was very good as well. My favorite sauce was the Texas Twang. More than half of their sauces are a bit too black pepper-y for my own personal liking or taste. Meaning they have that overall black pepper taste, which to me, can overpower the other flavors in the sauce. And then its a black pepper taste ending too left in the mouth. Gonna come back and just get the turkey by itself, Texas Twang sauce and work my way thru trying some of their sides! Very friendly and fast service!

Yelp
The food, prices and atmosphere were great! The portions on the sample platter were very generous! The sandwiches are huge! The rootbeer was yummo. Had a friend's Christmas get-together here last week. We had a very good time!!! Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
C'ynia was awesome and gave great recommendations when I was super indecisive! Completely right with getting cheesy potatoes over Mac. Food was really good like always. Best sauce is still Smokey mountain with brisket and Tupelo Honey Heat was good for the rest of the meats. Also their ranch is one of the better in the area (not the star, but was impressed!) Really love the message the place gives as well. Seen throughout the restaurant. Also super clean. Loved that the team circles around to check in on everyone as well.

Yelp
Excellent service, very friendly, food was amazing!! Loved the environment!! I wish there was one in Chicago. Best BBQ in Illinois... PERIOD!!

Yelp
We stopped By after learning about Mission BBQ at a veterans event. The food and the service was outstanding!!! The staff is very friendly and they genuinely seem to care about your experience. The restaurant has a veteran and first responder theme, which is really cool. It's very special thanks to miss Marsha who is a great ambassador for the restaurant and our veterans in first responders!!

Yelp
My husband's team went there for Juneteeth, and they were so awesome and treated all the soldiers. We even stopped to salute the flag. The staff was absolutely positivs energy and engaging, making sure everyone was doing well. A lot of places use military team as ads, this place really showed respect and went above and beyond! We basically covered all the meats in my family of seven. All was flavorful and moist, and the corn bread and banana pudding was awesome. Highly recommend! Secret tip, they have a kids menu not posted! So if you got tater tots, ask for the kids menu!

Yelp
Food is awesome and everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming Will come back again and again.

Yelp
Tried the smoked shrimp with Alabama white sauce and it was delicious. Just the right combination of smoke and seasoning on the shrimp. Not dried out or tough. My wife had the smoked pork and it is a more than ample serving so that I had it as a leftover. Coleslaw as a side was well prepared and enough for two. Unless you're really hungry get the XL combo and different sides and share. Nice and helpful staff and a clean house. Most of the patrons are great people and friendly. Parking is limited.

Yelp
If you aupport the military you need to come to Mission BBQ. The food is good and the decor honors militRy,Police and Fire We chose ala cart pulled pork and Brisket. The cool part is that they asked if you wanted wet(fatty) or dry. The wet wss good. The pulled pork was good.It was a little dry but the flavor still came through. We would definitely come baxk when we are in the area. Taste 7/10 Quality vs cost: 8/10 Presentation 8/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Service 10/10 +++ total 43/50=4.3 =4 star

Yelp
Veteran friendly, community active, and dang good bbq. Can't say enough for this place. This place cares for the community and gives back. The service is awesome, from person at the counter to manager to everyone. And bbq, it was good!! Pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, and the Mac and cheese so good!!!!!! The ambiance in the restaurant is an old school bbq house, dedicated to those who've served. Thank you!!!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite barbecue spots in South Bend. Or rather I should say misha waka indiana. There are not many to choose from, so it doesn't make it difficult. But the reason I enjoy mission , barbecue or other places does not necessarily come down to the quality of the meat or the taste of the barbecue sauce. Mission barbecue is indeed on a mission. And what they do is fully supported there veterans and first responder community. My husband who is a veteran of the United States. Military for 24 years often has events to support other veterans and mission barbecue does the catering for free. You heard me, I said that right, for free. He hasn't asked them too many times to do this because he doesn't want to spread them too thin. But the fact that they have been willing to do this at all. Really speaks to the mission that they're on. You can fully experience this when you walk inside the building. And you see all the photos and regalia from all the different branches of service as well as the police. The fire department and all the first responders are represented as the decor in the establishment. In addition to this every day , at twelve , they do a rendition of taps in honor of the memory of fallen soldiers and those who have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice. This is quite touching and it's rare when I go in there at this time. Where I don't sprout a tear or two or have a quivering lip, and I find it remarkable how many of the people stand up with their hand on their heart to honor this tradition. And if you're going through the line in ordering your food, you can tell them you're a veteran, and they usually give you a big a** brownie for free or some kind of dessert that makes your mouth water. And it's all just to say thank you to those who serve. You really can't go wrong coming in here. Even if barbecue sauce is your thing , they have a cat and sports six different kinds of barbecue sauce to pretty much satisfy anybody's palate. Oftentimes, I mix 2 or 3 to make a barbecue. Sauce slurry and that works out just fine for me. So come in, pay your respects, get respected and return and enjoy your meal. And if you're a veteran, thank you so much for your service!

Yelp
Ordered as normal and they proceeded to give me a green molded bun both my Minnie buns were molded in totally turned off this meal has ruined my appetite completely safe to say check your buns before eating here and I probably won't be back

Yelp
Nice place to eat, good food, fair prices, and the service was good too, and the fact they acknowledge veterans is a big plus too!

Yelp
Found this place when another BBQ joint could not handle taking my order. The service is great and they do a good job even when it is packed. Food was really good!

Yelp
Hubby was here once before and this time we went together. Very good food! We both ordered the 2 meat sampler. I had pulled chicken and pulled pork. The Texas sauce was my fave. Hubby had the turkey and ribs. The ribs are really good! The cornbread was decent, better with butter. I make a killer cornbread and am, admittedly, fussier about others. This is one of the better ones out there. Hubby is in love with the baked beans. I thought they were ok. Just too sweet for me. More like a chili. I did eat all of mine by using the really good French fries. The staff was courteous....and fun. It was all very clean. We will certain visit again!

Yelp
Really good experience . Ribs brisker pulled pork pulled chicken . All good choices . Sides also delicious. Had green beans and Mac n cheese . Friendly staff was very welcoming. Will eat here again .

Yelp
My sos and I came for the first time. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the kitchen. The BBQ smelled so good. And we had pulled pork and brisket. It was delicious

Judy M.

Yelp
All the meats are great but my favorite 3 are the turkey, the lean brisket and the pulled pork. I like the sides and desserts that are always on the menu but the seasonal items make the menu even better.
google avatar

William K.

Yelp
I ordered a two meat sampler and some fries. The pulled pork was very tasty, but the brisket was dry. The sauces were great and the fries were mediocre. The service was very quick, and the employees were kind.

Yelp
I'm from Illinois and I had a favorite BBQ place there so it's been hard to find a place here in Indiana My wife and I tried Mission BBQ tonight and I fell in love Fall off the bone ribs home made sauces several to choose from Absolutely the best in Indiana I will be there all the time from now on Thank God I found them

Emily T.

Yelp
I took my 3 daughters here a couple days ago for the first time ( for all of us), the service at the counter was amazing! she was so friendly , and patient, as we gad questions to ask about the menu. the food was amazing, like really amazing! all the sauces at the table were really great too! and to make the visit unforgettable, as we were getting ready to clean up the table to leave, A service member named Sara , who i will add was just a doll, brought us over a couple brownies like thankyou so much! it is really refreshing to have such a great experience somewhere new!!

Sandi P.

Yelp
Wonderful bbq with a huge selection of meats, sauces and sides. The food was superb! I got the bbq chicken which was moist and tender; my husband ordered the shredded pork which was also delicious. There was a ton of meat on our sandwiches! The fries were crispy and good. I had a generously sized side salad; my husband had an equally sized delicious coleslaw. The manager, Shawn, is friendly and informative. The food is prepared fresh daily, and the meat is smoked for 16 hours. For the amount of food you receive, the quick and friendly service, and the military ambiance, Mission BBQ cannot be beaten!

Cheryl P.

Yelp
Great portions, friendly staff I always try to go at noon so I can see everyone sing the national anthem! Brings tears to my eyes everytime. Very casual, clean and organized

Yelp
I've been to two other mission BBQs in two other states. With that said the quality in comparison to those is a one star easily. Everything except my green beans were cold with customer service having three out of four friendly employees. The third person called my name, talked to another customer, then never gave me my food or asked if I wanted sauce or anything. This is when the fourth person noticed. Besides the bad customer service nothing was dry, just inconsistent with flavor at times, such as the seasoning on my older fries or lack of brisket in my baked beans. Now that I've been here I wouldn't recommend it. There are a lot of other places you can go to for better BBQ. I do however like their mission, that's a cause I can get behind all day, any day.

Brandon C.

Yelp
I held off going for quite some time. I wish I hadn't! my girlfriend and I walked in and told the cashier, Nick, it was our first time and we would be taking out. He took a step from behind the counter to explain the menu to us. Broke the barrier and changed the atmosphere from customer/seller to friend/friend. He took the time to explain every aspect of the meal. luckily there wasn't anyone behind us lol. I took the easy route and ordered the pulled pork sandwich meal with Mac n Cheese. They gave us one of each sauce to try. Heaviest hitter in our house were the KC classic, Texas twang, and Tupelo honey Hot. without exaggeration or saying too much lt is hands down some of if not the best pulled pork you can find in Michiana. a bit dry, as it should be, so with the addition of the sauce it comes together as the perfect flavor. unfortunately for you, I am halfway through the meal but had to leave this review after such a great experience! back to the meal!!

Yelp
with the grand opening that was just around the corner at the time of this review. Mission BBQ gives you more option that are in the area. This is more of a fast food place where there is some indoor dinning that can be taken advantage off. Their menu does not have any type of liquor and has an assortment of soft drinks that are available to choose from. When ordering from this location you either have to call or go in since they don't have any type of online ordering system. Went in two have two 3 Meat Sampler that consisted of all of their choices from Turkey, Sausage, Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Chicken. There were multiple sides that also order that included Green Beans, Mac and Cheese, Cole Slaw, and Fries. When I picked up my order I only got two of my sides and when I asked like I didn't see it they stated that it was there in the other box. This was not the case when I got home. The sauce Selection they have available is plentiful the one I went with was Texas and Baja. The Meats where well cooked and had good flavor Mainly the Brisket, Chicken, and Sausage. The turkey and pulled pork were not on the same level as the other three. TLDR: Missing two of my sides that were order. This is more of a fast food location that it is like a sit down BBQ. The sauces you have plenty to choose from with good flavor the meats that I would suggest Would be the Brisket, Chicken, and Sausage. You can only oder over the phone or going in no online ordering at this moment and.

Charles K.

Yelp
Taste and value for money, nice atmosphere, fast food bbq, if you like bland food this is the place for you. Service was fast but counter area loud. $9 for 2 6 inch sausage (4 halves), add a drink and 1 side $18 added pulled pork $27

Yelp
When Mission first opened in our area, we were there every single week. Food and service was always amazing. As time went on, the food and employees got worse and worse, so we stopped going altogether. Hubby and I decided to give it another chance today and I'm sorry we did. I ordered a brisket sandwich, which cost 22 dollars for a small portion of meat that was very tough and a stale bun that wasn't even toasted. Two meals and a horrible banana pudding was over 50 dollars. Employees weren't especially nice and they were all standing around. The restaurant wasn't busy though, so I guess standing around is better than making sure the food that is served is edible. ‍ Today was our very last time there and if this continues, this restaurant will close within the year!

Mike K.

Yelp
My wife and I as well as two friends had dinner at Mission Barbecue on Grape Road in Mishawaka, Indiana last night. The food was excellent. We had the brisket sandwich, lean, with French fries and my wife had collard greens. Our friends had salmon and fries and ribs. The menu choices were excellent and certainly the number of selections would satisfy any palate. The method of ordering your meal requires you to go up to the kitchen counter and place your order. It is quick and efficient. The ambiance was all military inspired honoring current and previous people who served their country. They offer free dinners to Viet Nan soldiers and free sandwiches to veterans. Parking is ample but on busy days it fills up quickly at dinner time. I would like to single out one particular employee. Her name is Sarah. She was quite pleasant and had a big smile on her face. After a few minutes she came over to us make sure everything tasted good and that we were enjoying ourselves. We were. Soon after she came back with small desert samples for us. All in all our meal was very nice. I highly recommend this unique eating experience.

Yelp
For a dedicated BBQ restaurant, the food quality was very disappointing! We purchased close to $150 of take out food. One rack of ribs was very dry and tough, as if overcooked. The other rack of ribs was not as tough, but lacked flavor unless slathered with sauce. The brisket was the worst - very dry, tough, and lacked flavor. The sides didn't taste very good and were expensive at $12 a container.

Yelp
Love the vibe. As a vet I always try to support businesses like this. And the whole staff is super friendly. From the servers to the cooks to the managers. But unfortunately the food is a no go. Big prices small portions. I gave it a few tries ordering something different each time and I always left disappointed.

K L.

Yelp
Visited Mission BBQ today. I was on a knee cart and at least three employees stopped and asked if they could help me, which I really appreciated. Food came within one minute and was perfect as always. My husband is a Vet so always spends time looking at what is new on the wall. The community representative, Marsha, stopped by our table and chatted throughout our meal. She is an excellent representive of what is great about Mission BBQ and all they do for the community. I highly recommend this restaurant and a big GREAT JOB for Marsha. She truly loves her job and it shows!

Yelp
Most recent order from Mission BBQ very tasty, decent portion size. Portion size continues to vary...never the the same portion size twice. They were very busy this nite and we got our dine in food before there was a place to sit open... that was a little unsettling. By the time a table was available the food. Was no longer warm. The dinning room host was superb... most polite and accommodating I've ever seen... can't remember his name but this gentleman deserves a raise! This order is Brisket lean Mac n cheese and this time added the corn casserole. 4 stars bc we had to wait for a table after our food was handed over to us
google avatar

Bryce H.

Yelp
It was very alright .. not remotely wow'd. I just ate it & was like well today I chose Mission BBQ. The meat was very bricked up like the opposite of fall off the bone.
google avatar

Rob D.

Yelp
Well... Let first say that I have been in many, many BBQ places across the nation. First, this place has a great positive vibe with all the memorabilia and such, the staff is very friendly and spot on. However, the BBQ (Brisket and Ribs), we over the top salty; so salty that we could not finish. The sides were good - Cornbread, Coleslaw and Creamed Corn, although the later was a bit pasty. Broad selection of BBQ sauces assisted in somewhat minimizing the saltiness of the BBQ. If they get the BBQ right I would give them a 5 Star, but alas that is the center of the plate item and hence 3 Stars.

Frani B.

Yelp
My favorite chain BBQ joint! This location also has incredible staff. Quinn took our order and made us feel right at home! We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Rosetta M.

Yelp
Our newest BBQ Joint in The Princess City! Great BBQ. Moist smoked Meats, excellent sides. When I'm on Main St. and I have to choose... Hands Down It'll be Mission BBQ. Pictures are from a Pick Up Package for 10. Update..$135, fed 4.5 folks, with left overs for next day lunch. Still as good as we bought it. None of our smoked meats dried out after reheat.

Yelp
Overall an amazing place the food gets better every time we eat here. the service is absolutely amazing and you can tell the workers love their job especially Shawn.

Yelp
Oh! I am most definitely giving this establishment 5 stars! I had never been to this restaurant before and I was drawn in because they had a beautiful black deuce and a half in the parking lot with a bbq pit in the bed. I had to check that out. I have to say that I generally stay clear of bbq restaurants. Not because I don't like BBQ; but, most of them seem kind of unkept, dirty and generally kind of slimy. You know what I mean-I hope. A lot of the BBQ places I have been to seem to have a sugary, bbq sauce glaze on the tables and just about everything else. Mission BBQ was SO CLEAN! I was really impressed with how clean the staff kept the dining hall. Ok, next...the decor. I was so excited when I walked through the door and saw so many pics of the local PD, FD and Indiana Natty Guard. Plus, the general pics of our country's military. I have to say that I actually smiled and got lost in all of the patches, photos and displays. Then, it was time to step up and place our order. I told the associate working the counter that it was our first time at the restaurant and I wasn't sure how to order. Man, I wish I got this kids name, because he spent about 5 minutes with us just going over the menu options. We asked about the meatloaf, and he quickly got us a sample to try it out. This guy is a SUPER asset to your business. Give him an raise! Anyway, I ordered the 3 meat sampler (jalapeño sausage, baby back ribs and beef). I sampled all of the sauces and man was all good. It was all really good and I have to say that the jalapeño sausage was incredible. I could go on and on about this place. I APPROVE! From the staff, the decor, the seating area/dining area, volume of music, cleanliness and most of all-the food. Mission BBQ hits all the marks. And I want to say thank you to the owners of the restaurant/chain. I really appreciate how you guys honor our first responders and military. It made me feel really good as a customer to see that! Thank you! Chief

Patty C.

Yelp
Looking for something different is how I tried this place out. Because I wanted to try several of the meats at one time I ordered the sampler platter the first visit. Since I am a veteran, I signed up for their veteran program, and have felt very welcomed and appreciated. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was wonderful. I ordered my food and waited for them to call my name, which was rather quickly. The variety of bbq sauces are on the table. I have visited several times since my first preview and will continue to eat there. It can be a little pricey depending on what you order. The only thing that I am not completely fond of is the paper that the food is placed on, which is the only reason I don't give them a 5.

Yelp
Went here for lunch Saturday 5/1/21 Both had baby back ribs, cornbread, Mac & cheese, Baked beans. The cornbread and macaroni and cheese were great, the meat was just OK, nothing special. The sauces were so so atmosphere was wonderful, the guy out on the floor was fantastic! Came over and talk to us got us a couple of different sauces, and then when I told him that he made the place special he reached out and shook my hand and said thank you! You could tell this guy I liked his job and he really liked talking to the people, As for us the place was just a little bit too crowded people standing at the counter waiting for their food which I guess in today's times seemed a little unsafe, but did not feel unsafe. I don't know if we will go back but it was worth trying

Yelp
We visited the Mishawaka, Indiana, a few weeks. after the grand opening. The ND Blue/Gold game had ended and the the place was busy with fans(so many ND shirts!lol) The line went quickly. We didn't even get our drinks before they called our name to pick up our food. I got the yard bird, Mac & cheese, baked beans. The chicken was so juicy and the seasoning on the crispy skin had a little heat. The Mac & cheese was creamy and the beans were a little spicy but oh so good! And the cornbread was fantastic! Moist and sweet! My husband got the brisket, Mac & cheese, and brisket chili. Best brisket either one of us have had! So tender and full of flavor. The chili has a kick and full of brisket. We have had this catered to my office and they didn't disappoint! Staff was friendly. The only negative I would say it that the parking sucks! Kudos! Keep up the good work!

Yelp
OMG....their food is just amazing! Everything is just so perfect, and tastes like homemade. Best comfort food made by someone else, PERFECT combo!

Awesome atmosphere, hospitality, food, and service. They have great seating for the entire family and friends with lots of veterans , police, and fire department photos that the restaurant represents. It shows by the great flavor tasting food they provide

Yelp
rude staff and portions are too small. not really the best environment mainly because it just feels judgmental.

Yelp
I had the ribs and my mate had the brisket. The meat was excessively seasoned with salt. It would've been good if it wasn't so salty. Only ate half of mine because it was so overbearing. The sides were good. We loved the environment and the fact that they give to our first responders and military. We mentioned what we thought of our food to a worker whom was walking around asking how the food was. Hopefully, it was just a one off for the over salting.

Yelp
We have been to mission barbecue in Fort Wayne and Kentucky and they are 5 stars. This location we have tried a few times and it is sub par. Food is always cold. Even if you eat in restaurant. I always leave kind of bummed out.
