"Mission Cantina is one of most overlooked casual dinner spots in Hollywood. The tiny Mexican spot on Sunset doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they serve solid food at affordable prices in a mellow environment you actually want to hang out in. Also, Tuesdays are $1 taco night." - Brant Cox

"Mission Cantina is one of most overlooked casual dinner options in Hollywood - especially on Tuesdays, when the tacos are a dollar. The tiny Mexican spot on Sunset doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside it’s a good place to catch up with some friends. The deal: $1 tacos, all day." - Amy Clark, Kat Hong

The tiny Mexican place on Sunset doesn’t look like much from the outside, but they serve some solid food at affordable prices in an environment that actually makes you want to sit and get to know someone. Plus, if your date can’t help you finish the margarita pitcher you just bought, at least you can call it quits now - and not three sober dates later." - Brant Cox, Kat Hong, Brett Keating

I had some of the best enchiladas I've ever tasted, pork enchiladas verde (green sauce). Yum! The rice and beans with bacon were also very good.

Stopped by on the way to the airport. Can't speak to the normal menu, but Taco Tuesday $1 tacos changed the lens through which I view the world. Great rustic vibe, beautiful patio, and exceptional margaritas put this place way over the top

Great drinks and nice little vibe. We didn't get to buy food this time but the food did look amazing.

I went in for a quick bite to eat and was presented with a decent restaurant with an adequate enough staff. The food tasted bland which ultimately lacked bravado. This is especially true given that the tacos were two for 7. They also didn't offer me chips, despite the fact that I bought a drink and was supposed to receive chips and salsa with my order. Ultimately, if you're looking for a quick bite to eat, then you can't go wrong, but I would never if time and distance didn't dictate my circumstances.

Edgar and his staff were awesome! The mixed fajitas were amazing and my wife loved the sangria. I took a chance on The Razor Edge and couldn’t handle it, so Edgar brought me a regular Mission Margarita instead. Outdoor seating on Hollywood Blvd and reasonably priced delicious dishes. Give it a shot!

Mission margaritas are great!! The guys are super helpful and attentive. We had the grilled fish and tinga tacos, both were great. Chips and salsa also great. Very chill spot and good food for a reasonable prices.

Loved this place. Went here for dinner and wow was it good. The bartender was super nice and gave good recommendation for food and drinks. The chicken tacos and the nachos were amazing. Also you can big pitcher of margarita for $20 which gave us about 6 glasses.

First timer...The bartenders both were rude and complained about people not tipping them many times. Never told us about the specials or happy hour and we were there during hh. You should always inform your guest about specials. They seemed judgemental. I like the atmosphere. Petty bar. They used high end liquor but still pricey. Me and my friends plan to go back again for actual happy hour deals and see if the service is better. Hopefully its better.
