The program helped me confront any doubt I had about my current trajectory, and validated my reasons for wanting that career path. There are useful tools and resources provided throughout the course, and the overall strategic approach to career design is one that I will very likely revisit, if and when my career priorities shift in the future. I was actively interviewing while going through the program, and I believe that the tools and language around career criteria helped me articulate not only why I was a good fit for one particular role, but also why it was a good fit for me. I left the program having gotten that job offer, for a role that ranked highly in my personal research and testing phase. It feels exciting to leave the program with the tools to help me critically think about how I'll shape my work in this new role, too.

I highly recommend Mission Collaborative for individuals who want to take their careers to the next level. The Mission Collaborative experience, Career Design, was offered to me as an Ohio University alumni. As a certified career coach, I really appreciated the message of how important it is for professionals to become Career Masterminds of their own careers instead of leaving the fate of the career journey to an employer. Very well organized and structured program. The content and schedule forced me to be accountable for things I had previously thought a lot about but failed to act upon. The exercises helped to get things out of my head and onto paper, allowing me to begin to create a plan for finding my next career. The Program Manager was excellent and the matching among the team and my accountability partner were seemingly perfect. This program will definitely help me get unstuck in creating a strategy to design the next stage of my career.

The Career Design program with Mission Collaborative was the right thing at the right time for me. It brought clarity to what was an overwhelming experience of defining my ideal job at a later stage in an otherwise successful career. The resources and support were tremendously helpful, and the relationships I developed were and will be invaluable moving forward. I'm very grateful for the clarity and reduction in anxiety that resulted from the program.

This program was a huge step in my career design journey. I really enjoyed the cohort experience and the effectiveness of the accountability partner system. I now feel excited, confident, and energized about exploring my next career opportunities. It provided me with a clear process and valuable resources to continue my success.

Initially, at the end of the first week, you may feel overwhelmed and that’s ok. You’ll catch your stride by the second week and will find that others in the program are doing the same. There’s something about going through things together with your cohort, that is comforting, yet simultaneously lends accountability and motivation. One of the added bonuses of the program is networking with the group well beyond the designated weeks and everyone is so appreciative of the connections made in our respective fields. The sky is the limit!

This is absolutely the right way to approach planning your career. The creators of the program are really onto something. I'm really glad I participated. I learned a lot about myself and what I want, gained a valuable network, and narrowed down my vague career thoughts into discrete options that I could research and test. The program is the perfect length and level of commitment. It's reasonably priced. I'm very glad I did it.

This program offers a lot of value for the money — providing a digestible and actionable roadmap to discovering what you want to do next, and laying the groundwork for a successful job search. I really liked the combination of individual assignments, ongoing meetings with fellow participants, and support from a Program Manager, all well-organized within a structured and well-curated curriculum that’s easy to follow and implement.
