My husband and I travel extensively as meeting planning professionals and this hotel blew my mind. Everywhere I went I was constantly snapping pictures of the warm decor, cool furniture, and overall chic spaces. The vibe of this hotel is So Cal Chic and the hotel has delivered. The roof top bar areas are perfect for taking in a gorgeous So cal sunset. The pool area is casual but refined, with fire features at the rooftop bar & restaurant. Beautiful greenery and lighting makes the space feel extra special & provided an elevated experience. The lobby area feels like a living room at a fancy Malibu home with soft seating, cool decor and fun little touches. The location in Oceanside, directly across the street from the pier & beach couldn't be more ideal. They even have a funky air stream trailer on the beach where you can rent (for free if you are a guest) towels, chairs, umbrellas, beach toys & boogie boards. You can walk for miles up and down the strand (which I loved doing every morning) and along the wooden pier. The hotel is also right off Mission Ave that has tons of dining and shopping options just a short stroll away. The house from the Top Gun movie is in the front of the hotel & features a quaint little pie shop & a replica of the motorcycle that Tom Cruise rode in the movie. In addition to the gorgeous decor & absolutely perfect location, the staff was TOP notch! They were warm, welcoming, professional & very thorough at check-in process. I was constantly noticing how helpful and friendly everyone we encountered was. I can't say enough good things about this property! We will be back for sure...hopefully sooner rather than later!

I had a truly wonderful stay at the Mission Pacific Beach Resort. The property is absolutely beautiful—modern, stylish, and perfectly located just steps from the beach. The views alone are worth the trip!||||What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. I was genuinely impressed by the level of service across the board. Every team member I interacted with was warm, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and seamless.||||From check-in to check-out, everything was handled with care and professionalism. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort and look forward to staying again!

We recently stayed at Mission Pacific Hotel for a two-night staycation away from Newport Beach and had an amazing experience. The resort itself is beautiful and has a relaxed, upscale vibe. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop lounge — it’s a must-visit for the atmosphere and views! While Mission Pacific isn’t quite as kid-friendly as its sister property, The Seabird (located right across the street), one of the great perks is that you get access to both hotels’ pools during your stay, which gives you the best of both worlds. The coffee shop downstairs at Mission Pacific also deserves a shoutout — they have a great breakfast and really good coffee, perfect for starting your day. On top of that, every single person we interacted with at the Front Desk was absolutely wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. During our trip, we explored some great local spots nearby. If you’re staying in the area, I highly recommend grabbing a cocktail at Frankie’s and checking out Blade 1936 for delicious Italian food. Finney’s Crafthouse was a fun, casual sports bar with great bar food, and Swami’s Café had some of the best French toast we’ve had in a while. One of our absolute favorite meals was at The Flying Pig — the chicken sandwich and fries were incredible. Definitely a spot you don’t want to miss! Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely stay at Mission Pacific again. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in Oceanside with great amenities, friendly service, and plenty of amazing food options nearby.

Stayed two nights, July 20-22. Beautiful property, extremely friendly staff, lobby decor was fantastic. So much more style than a normal chain hotel. The room, while perhaps small, was ergonomically set up with a novel double corner door on the bath. This made the room seem larger and really opened up the space. Breakfast from the restaurant was delivered in a warming cart (versus a new style to deliver room service in a paper bag / paper containers, with plastic utensils . The food was hot and was great. Lanai furniture very comfortable to watch the sunsets! Finally, communication was great (nice personal texts to see if you need anything), and the entire team made this anniversary trip special. thank you!

This hotel went above and beyond for our little family! Between Alexzandria at the front desk and clay who helped with our bags. They were wonderful! We can’t say enough good things about the service we received here! The view was amazing! The rooms were very nice! And the way the hotel touched our families hearts during a very tough time is something we will never forget! Thank you for such a wonderful weekend!

Google
We loved everything about it. It was a great location, right across from the pier and walkable to everywhere. The room was gorgeous. We ended up hanging out at the Roof Top Bar and the pool. The food and cocktails were delicious. The steak and grill squash dish was some of the best things I ever tasted. The entire staff was so accommodating. We want to come back every month. I highly recommend.

I stayed here for one night in one of the Ocean View Sanctuary Studio rooms. The room is clean, comfortable and well appointed. We had two balconies, one small and one large with a beautiful view of the ocean and pier. Only issue with this room was that it was directly across from the rooftop restaurant and you can hear the loud music past 10pm. Besides the room the food at the property was good but nothing memorable. One of my favorite perks of this hotel was the beach chairs and umbrellas available oceanside for the guests. It made for a comfortable afternoon by the beach. As far as the staff goes it was a mix of good and bad. They were very nice up until I was sent a text asking about my stay and I did express some concerns. The gentleman from guest services apologized and mentioned some of the information I read on their website and Hyatt's was outdated and was no longer accurate. I also had a concern over discrimination but that was marginalized and dismissed as a misunderstanding which wasn't the case but I chose to let it go and not ruin the rest of my day. After this encounter I was still treated nicely but was given the side eye by the front desk staff and the guest services gentleman when checking out. In conclusion the property is very nice and clean but the staff definitely needs some work on their professionalism and demeanor. I personally will not be going back to the Mission Pacific due to the staff and discrimination but the property is wonderful.

Recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was lovely! Front desk staff treated us to a glass of wine upon arrival and treated our overly tired toddler to some small trinkets to cheer him up! The rooms were large and modern with a great shower and lots of storage. The location was great and walking distance to bars, coffee shops, beach/pier and restaurants. The rooftop pool and bar had amazing views and comfortable lounge chairs and couches. We loved it and already talking about a return trip!

Yelp
This place is amazing..... the room is so cool... I loved the pool overlooking the beach.... Night life is on the roof... but during the day it's a great pool...

Yelp
Great decor, cozy rooms and exceptionally nice staff all around. Needed a couple of items for the room and they delivered within minutes. Perfect location with the best views and access to beach, food, market and movies.

Yelp
I stayed at The Seabird, sister hotel to the Mission Pacific Resort a year ago. I loved the Seabird Resort. I chose it over Mission because of all the negative reviews that I read about it. I decided to give Mission a try after comparing the suite upgrade. I had a suite upgrade certificate through the World of Hyatt that I wanted to use. Mission Pacific upgraded me to the Dreamscape suite which based on the pictures has Ocean views. Seabird might put me in a partial view suite. I didn't want to take the chance, so I went with Mission Pacific. The valet parking entrance is in the back of the hotel which is odd to me. It's a short driveway and it's just not a great entrance compared to Seabird. The valet attendants were great, pointing me to the entrance for check in. I arrived around 11a.m. and my room wasn't ready. The lady who checked me in was fantastic. I wish I remember her name! She did most the work and Alexandra gave me the key card at 1p.m. when I received the text that my room was ready. I spend every morning at the beach. The beach butler were awesome but there was a standout, Jalen who was impressive! He works hard, attentive, and personable. Get there early in the morning though because they run out of umbrellas. The Dreamscape Suite was amazing. It was huge. It can fit 4 people comfortably. There is a pull out couch. The king bed was comfortable. They have 2 little side tables. The whole room had about 3 to 4 big windows with views of the ocean. I can stay here all day!! The vinyl plank floor was perfect for the beach. They give you eat buds for the "noise " which scared me. As long as you shut the balcony door the noise is not really bad. The view from the balcony on the second floor is good. I wanted higher floor though. The only drawback was High-low restaurant is right below the balcony. The view of the ocean offset the view of the bottom. Lady at check in recommended the Rooftop Bar for the sunset. That was the best tip and we did it 2 nights in a row. The view of the sunset in room 257 is not as great; it's blocked my palm trees. Housekeeping came in every day to refresh towels, make the bed, empty the trash, replenish the coffee ( which they didn't do- I reached out to the hotel and they sent more coffee right away) Any needs I had, was met very quickly. The staff are very responsive. I was disappointed that they didn't have the metal water bottles like the Seabird. I'm also sad that they don't have turn down service. Finally, my biggest beef when I get a late check out is that housekeeping comes in before my alotted check out time. 6 minutes before my check out time, housekeeping knocked and entered my room. I told them I had 6 minutes. She apologized and sat down outside my room. Nothing like housekeeping chasing you out of your room.

Yelp
I live locally and have visited the bar numerous occasions so I recommended my family stay. Everything went so smoothly! Our room and view was beautiful, we chose a partial view, and we could see the beach & pier well. The only downfall was that we were really looking forward to have drinks at the roof top pool but there was no where to put our things, all available seating was taken and the only open had reservation tags. We decided to just walk the pier, everything is so close it's such a convenient choice. Other down fall was $45 valet parking - we didn't use but I originally planned to stay the night but decided against it, opted to park in the $5 lot across the street until bedtime AKA 12am. I still highly recommend!

Yelp
MPBR was a second travel option for me. My first choice was a location in the West Indies. However, I changed my mind and opted to travel to my second choice. I must say I made the right choice. MPBR is a well thought out along with their sister property The Seabird Resort. When you first enter the lobby. The aroma/fragrance is pleasing to your senses. The lobby's decor, views from the roof top (sunsets), gym, roof top bar/restaurant, roof top pool/hot tub (including a DJ in the evening) dining options. Did I mention AM yoga class poolside. The views of the beach/ocean are spectacular! This is a perfect location. The beach town of Oceanside is great! It offers a little bit of everything. If your every in the area. This is a must destination. Don't cheat yourself. Treat yourself! GET SOME of what MPBR and O'Side is offering!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old for our 10 year anniversary celebration. All of the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful but Erick went above and beyond for us. We were able to upgrade our city view room to an oceanfront suite and he even provided my daughter with a little gift bag with bubbles a bluey book and a little toy. Our room was gorgeous and my favorite was taking a nice bath in the giant soaking tub. The staff left a really sweet card with chocolates for our anniversary which was such a nice touch. All of the food at this hotel and the sea bird was seriously the BEST food I've ever had. Not even the best hotel food, but BEST EVER. The hotel and all of the furnishings are gorgeous. There are really nice areas to sit and relax and the furniture in the room are all very comfortable. A few small things which affected losing one star. 1. The curtains let in a lot of light which is tough to be able to sleep in. 2. There are not enough hooks/racks to hang towels or wet things (like bathing suits) 3. There isn't really a lot to do as far as window shopping or walking around. There's the beach and pool but outside of the hotel there's nothing (not really the hotels fault). 4. The main strip is SO LOUD and seems a bit trashy for the niceness of the hotel. (Again, not really their fault). 5. The website says there's a mini fridge in the room. It's more of a beverage cooler and ours did not get cold AT ALL. We requested a mini fridge which we ended up getting towards the end of our first day. We had milk and snacks for our daughter that needed to be refrigerated but we got one in time before things went bad. It just would've been nice if we had this information ahead of time. Overall we had an amazing time!!!

Yelp
Mission Pacific Beach Resort in Oceanside shows the dramatic turn around that has taken place in an Oceanside. There are so many unique and quality restaurants and eatery's within a 5 to 10 minute walking distance it is hard to choose where to eat. The hotel is classy and the service is great. The location is super fantastic. Our room among the best I have had the blessing to stay in. We were able to stay in the dreamscape sweet and it was amazing. A sitting area to watch tv, another reading or lounging area by a window with an amazing beach/ocean view. It was my favorite place to lounge and read a book and look at the ocean. We also spent time hanging out on the large sized balcony with comfy chairs. The bathroom was amazing with a huge standalone tub and separate shower. The robes were comfy though the slippers were nice but not that comfy. It is in a happening location across the street from the beach but the noise was quite muted once the balcony door was shut. The gym is quite nice and room is spacious with modern gym equipment including a Peloton. We absolutely want to come back bc we love the view of the Ocean, the hotel and the room.

Yelp
Great beach side hotel! The hotel is very trendy and contemporary. Lots of earthy materials used in the design of this hotel. My fave is the rooftop pool and bar on the 6th floor overlooking the ocean....perfect spot to spend the afternoon! The beach is literally across the street and they have beach valet but we didn't get to try the service. Breakfast is at the sister's hotel next door, the Seabird Bird Hotel. It wasn't too far of a walk so it didn't bother us much at all. A couple of complaints: the pillows are too flat and they charged us 3 different prices when we ordered the old fashion with house bourbon. And you can't charge food & drinks from the Rooftop Bar to the room because they have a new POS which can be an inconvenience if you only have your room key. But otherwise it's a great hotel with lots of restaurants around it. Must try - the Parlor Doughnuts which is 5min walk from the hotel. Will certainly come back again.

Yelp
Loved this Oceanside property about 1 hour north of San Diego. Hotel guests have free access to the beach which is right across the street. Can rent for free (just leave room key) towels, beach chairs and umbrella. They will pick up items when you are done. We also reserved fire pit night which they provided marshmallows, chocolate and sticks to roast. We were upgraded to 2 double bed ocean view. Furnishings were bohemian style and very elegant. Onsite pool, rooftop bar, jacuzzi, spa across the street (at sister property called Seaside Resort) and 2 restaurants. Plus Michele star restaurant onsite. Room service. Place was clean. Staff superb and onsite parking valet for extra fee each day. Will come back again.

Yelp
Mission Pacific Hotel is the ultimate beach hotel experience. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the modern yet warm atmosphere that blended seamlessly with the coastal charm. The attention to detail was remarkable, with a surfing beach theme design tastefully incorporated throughout the property. The staff greeted me with genuine warmth and made me feel right at home, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was nothing short of perfection. Before I even ask, they made the effort to upgrade me as a loyal globalist. The rooms at Mission Pacific Hotel are simply stunning. Our room was a partial ocean view, but my priority was a double bed for our family of 4. Otherwise I imagine they could've upgraded us to even nicer rooms. And waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the shore was truly relaxing. The interior design exuded a sophisticated elegance, featuring a harmonious blend of contemporary furnishings without feeling bare. The comfortable bed, luxurious linens, and state-of-the-art amenities provided a true haven of relaxation after a day exploring the vibrant city of Oceanside. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining options available at Mission Pacific Hotel. Globalist benefit saw to us having $40 credit per person at the e Piper restaurant. That was more than enough to fill up my whole family. My experience at Mission Pacific Hotel in Oceanside was nothing short of extraordinary. The beautiful accommodations, impeccable service, and remarkable attention to detail left an indelible impression on me. I highly recommend Mission Pacific Hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable getaway on the stunning Californian coastline.

Yelp
Overall good stay until the very end. I left a charger in my room and couldn't get a hold of front desk all day Friday. Called again over the weekend and they said they couldn't find it. I know for a fact I left it plugged in to the wall and it's unfortunate that customer service and integrity was lacking to an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Yelp
I like this hotel for the most part. However a I grabbed a bite at their restaurant downstairs Hi-Low which was great and got a coffee to go (I was going to meet up with my husband at the pool). When I got up to the pool floor I was abruptly stopped and asked to not enter with my coffee. I assured the waitress that this was a simple mistake ! The coffee was from their hotel's coffee shop ! I really thought that would be okay but it was not. She said unfortunately it is policy bc they have their own bar at the rooftop. I'm pregnant and cannot drink alcohol and there are no coffee options for me up there. She didn't have a response to that and ultimately repeated her previous rehearsed excuse of "unfortunately policy states that..." I sat outside and finished my coffee as quickly as I possibly could just to go join my husband at the pool... kind of frustrating !!! What a stupid rule !!
google avatar

Yelp
I stayed here several times. Great location and great views. For the price you pay you definitely will not get your moneys worth. They give you a wine opener in the room for $500 a night but you have paper cups to drink out of. The rooftop pool is nice. But be aware the rooftop bar is open to the public. And no matter how much they will tell you, the street life will get into the pool area as they did not pay for any of the amenities and make your life miserable. Lots of riffraff in and out of this rooftop area Security is questionable. As people are allowed to come to the six floor for the rooftop bar but can't get off on any floor along with any guest as they please. Comfort suites next to Hello Betty's is my choice from now on.

Yelp
Ocean breeze by the rooftop pool, I would recommend to friends. 1. Rooms came equip with cast from phone 2. Took the yoga class, great way to start the morning

Yelp
enjoyed my stay ! staff was nice, though valet may take a bit of time to get your car- understandable considering the amount of people and the holiday season. there was also a dirty towel, but everything else was good. the location is very nice and close to the beach and also a close walk to the nearby harbor ! one of the better hotels I have stayed at

Jason B.

Yelp
It's like a miniature city unto itself. So many amazing dining, relaxation, and entertainment options all within one resort. The best staycation in North County San Diego yet!

C. A.

Yelp
we usually come to san diego every summer but we decided to gofurther north to oceanside, I get around in a wheelchair or walker but can ususally manage to get to the shore with help but we were not prepared for what we found. For one thing our 'ocean front ' room faces a very busy street as well as diffeernt buildings before you could see the beach. The only way to the beach was a very steep drive way that my husbznd had to push me up When I got to the beach I notice a sand barier that I was not able to go over. so I was not aboe to walk on the beach..I did appreciate the chairs and umbrellas provided by the hotel. But I still couldnt get down to the shore this hotel is not meet ADA reequirments. I suggest that anyone in my situation consider this before you pick your hotel also dont pay for the over priced ocean front. Youll waste good money like we did finally we had trouble sleeping with the very noisy traffic on the near by road. Not worth your money

Yelp
This was our first visit to Mission Pacific in Oceanside CA! The hotel staff provided our family with excellent treatment, particularly in regards to our Hyatt Globalist status. It's always nice to feel valued as a guest, and Mission Pacific's staff did a fantastic job in making sure we are all taken cared of during our stay. Special shoutout to Cynai and Ashley for their hospitality. The room itself was spotless and spacious. The Sanctuary Suite Ocean View certainly is a luxurious and comfortable place to spend the night, and the views made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. This hotel is a brand new property, it's wonderful to be provided with such a high level of service and accommodations. We look forward to have the opportunity to stay at Mission Pacific again in the future. 5/5 Stars.

Marybeth M.

Yelp
Deeply disappointing. 1. If you're going to charge $600 a night for a room in Oceanside, you better check EVERY SINGLE BOX 2. An unusable refrigerator because it is stuffed with sales items 3. Cheesy packing tape all over the ceiling in our room and on picture frames. 4. Dirty comforter covers 5. A thermostat that can't decide rather it should air condition at walk in freezer temps or turn the heat on. You get both 6. $45 daily valet fee to keep your car safe. What?!? 7. Locking doors for security on your floor (because you're in Oceanside) that are jammed into the unlocked position. 8. No bathtub. Showers may look nice but are impractical for relaxation. DEAD BUGS ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR. 9. It's all looks - no content 10. There are better choices for your dollar and comfort.

Yelp
Usually stay in Carlsbad but this getaway we decided on staying in Oceanside. The hotel is conveniently located across from the Oceanside Pier. There are plenty of dining options to choose from. The Mission Pacific hotel appears to be newly built, in fact it seems that about 2 block radius of new development surrounding hotel. Upon checking in the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, they are very informative on the amenities available. They recognized my Hyatt status and received an upgrade which was very nice perk to our getaway. The Partial Ocean View Room was just perfect. Located on the 2nd floor we thought the street noise would come through but luckily it did not. The room had a ample king bed, plenty of sitting areas, a balcony, view of the top gun house, unique bathroom doors that overall contributed to making the room not feel crammed. Bathroom shower had multiple settings and a hand held. They have in room robes and slippers. Each room has complimentary reusable water bottles with filling stations on every floor. The view from the Rooftop bar is amazing at night and the pool is also located on the roof top. We went up on Sunday night with the DJ playing very much the adult vibe we need for our days away. The pool has plenty of chairs, they provide towels, and will come take drink and food order. There is only valet at $44 dollars a night but they quickly retrieve your car. You can also visit the Seabird with a day pass to use their pool and gym. 100% enjoyed stay here and would recommend. Even with the holiday it still didn't feel crowded which was a plus.

Paul D.

Yelp
The customer service and room quality were terrible. This was Motel 6 on the Beach. Plastic floors, uncomfortable beds, no charge to our Tesla despite being reassured that it would be done. "Talk to my manager, I'm not responsible". $620 later.

K S.

Yelp
The Service is top notch across the board. The food in the Roof Top bar and the restaurants is very tasty, with great presentation. The decor is out of the ordinary and appealing. Location, right next the beach and pier, is hard to beat.

Ken M.

Yelp
I've been a handful of times to the rooftop bar. I went during surfer girl, and the people in the elevator with us got seated right away once walking up to the hostess. I then walk up and there's now a wait list. I put my name in after saying to the hostess, the bar is packed and no seats. The hostess was a SUPER rude girl and I felt very unwelcome. The last thing she said was "the bar is that way" after not even looking at me signaling me to leave the hostess stand. I waited, asked again and finally decided to leave. On the way out I mentioned how rude the hostess was and how the people in front of us actually moved to the new open seats by the window glass. The host said he texted us and it ended up being the wrong number the rude hostess put in under my name. I get it was busy, but damn WHY YA GOTTA BE SO RUUUHHHUUUDE. AND DONTCHA KNOW IM HUMAN TOOOOOO.

Yelp
I know that hotels always get bad reviews on Yelp. So when looking at ratings I always add half a star to maybe even a full star to the hotel and then decide if I want to stay there. Glad I chose to do that here as well! My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Part of my Mother's Day gift was a stay in this fancy beachside hotel. She loved the views from her room and the rooftop. Hearing the waves crash onto the shore was serene. The staff was friendly, and street parking is nearby and affordable. Valet parking is super expensive, so avoid that if you can. I would definitely stay here again in a trip to Oceanside.
google avatar

Elisa G.

Yelp
The lobby here smells like Hawaii and I asked the desk clerk about the delicious scent. He said you can buy it at Ozone and I took a pic of it. Too bad it's not scratch and sniff!!
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
I stayed at the Mission Pacific for a business conference and had a really pleasant experience. The room was large and comfortable, and while I didn't have a direct view of the ocean and break, the view from the balcony was good enough. My only complaint about the room is that it isn't very conducive for work productivity. I kept banging my knee on the table while trying to get work done on my laptop. The air freshener in the lobby was STRONG. Definitely check out the Top Gun House and the Oceanside Pier during your stay.

Justine T.

Yelp
Usually dog rooms are questionable, even for service animals... however, MP did not disappoint! It was amazing! We will be back.

Yelp
We had a fabulous time in Mission Pacific Hotel Oceanside at Labor Day Long weekend. Before I went there, I checked Yelp only 3 stars, so I tried to book the Seabird Hotel, but didn't get it and ended up booked with Mission Pacific Hotel. I think I was lucky to get this hotel after spending time there this past Labor Long weekend. The service is over my expectations. The Valet parking staff are really friendly and helpful. They approached our car right after we arrived. They helped one of my friends visiting us in professional way. The front desk staff are great. They explained very well with Hotel's information and greet to us every day. The rooftop bar and pool staff are very friendly and nice, one of lady is very warm, she helped us to set up the pool chair even it's her off work hour. Since the hotel opened since May 2021, the facilities are very new and fresh. We love our ocean view suite (204) which is surprisingly next to the famous Charlie's house from the 80s classic movie Top Gun. Even it's in the second floor and very close to the Pacific street, but I really enjoyed sitting in the balcony and watching the people and the lively street and traffic there. The windows and door are noise approved. The room's interior design is simple and stylish which I like. The bed is really comfortable. The bathroom is great, it has a LED touch screen Icons on the mirror to control the bathroom lighting. They also prepared the plastic slippers and good quality robes. The other great thing is that they allow us to use the Seabird Hotel's facilities which is next to our hotel. I talked to one of guests who I met in the roof top pool and found out that she stays in Seabird Hotel and enjoy Mission Pacific's pool, but her kids like Seabird's pool. It's really convenient to use 2 hotels' facilities based on your needs. The rooftop pool is gorgeous with amazing Pacific ocean and sunset view. We really enjoyed laying down on the pool chairs and watching the beautiful sunset there. They also provided the complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas and towels at the beach down there. We stay 2 days at beach and enjoy the water. The Hotel's location is really convenient. You can walk down to the Oceanside Pier, beache and downtown in minutes. The lobby is very comfortable and provided the lemon water. It feels like the Hawaiian resorts The whole experience with Mission Pacific Hotel is amazing! It gave us a unforgettable memories in Oceanside City, before this trip, we'd never been to Oceanside city and just drove passed by there. After this trip, we found out a wonderful getaway distinction which is not far away and hassle to hide away from the city and enjoy the life. We will definitely visit back soon.

Yelp
Mission Pacific is a great hotel by the beach. Numerous restaurants nearby. The beach is just across the street. The rooftop at has a pool and is all around a great time.

Yelp
Alexandria and Kema just checked us in at the the front desk. I can't begin to tell you how warm & wonderful they made us feel. We come here quite often but today we really got to interact with the front desk staff. The girls are gorgeous & just as nice. They made a few suggestions for where we should eat so we went to, High/Low and got a little bite before going up to our room. Mission Pacific NEVER DISAPPOINTS!

Yelp
Super surprised by their front desk. Extremely rude & not very educated on the hotel operations. We were guaranteed an early check-in & arrived early to wait an hour. I would never hire any of the ladies I spoke with unfortunately.

Yelp
Absolute worste customer service and extremely rude manager. I am absolutely humiliated. Lost my credit card and my bank gave me gpay. The only form of payment they accept is a chip on a card. I asked to talk to a manager to see if I can pay cash. They said they are cashless and the only form of oayment is card with ship. The manager humiliated me since the only card I have I use for gas with a 500 limit and the room was 1000, I have plenty to cover the cost they just have no other way for you to pay for the room. -cannot prepay -cannot oay cash -no ach -no check -no money order -no cahsiers check -cannot use a card without a chip -cannot use any other form of payment other then a card with chip. Since my card was declined, the manager would loudly say "if you have a card that will not decline I will take it" know8ng I have told her my situation she took the fact I look broke and made it known to everyone. Even though I am very successful and have no problem oaying the 1000 This is a horrible establishment that is obviously a culture within the business as everyone in the front shared this same support to me, which was none whatsoever. Our trip is ruined now since everywhere right here is booked and I have no where to stay, and my bank is now closing. I will be sure to let everyone know my experience

Yelp
Marshall, the poolside bar server is excellent! My friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a day at the rooftop pool today and have really enjoyed ourselves. The pool is nice, the chairs are comfy with lots of towels, and the view of the Pacific can't be beat! We have enjoyed cocktails, small plates and a couple bottles of Prosecco. The service has been great and we'd love to return. Know that some of the small plates are pretty spicy, especially the patatas and the chicken sandwich. Thanks for a relaxing day! -- kids were there if you're expecting an adult pool.

Yelp
We've stayed at this location twice. Once for my birthday and recently for our anniversary. This hotel is beautiful! It's new, visually pleasing, and very very clean. The scent of jasmine hits you right as you walk in and up to the desk. Natalia helped us out that afternoon and she was such a pleasure to work with. Super nice and accommodating. I love me some good customer service. We booked an ocean view room and this room did not disappoint. Overlooking the beach and the pier as the sun goes down and the lights turn on is such a wonderful experience. On both stays, I woke up super early and sat out on the patio before the sun came up. There is something about being up before the town gets busy that just starts my day off right. You're in the heart of downtown Oceanside, surrounded by a ton of restaurants and two of my favorite coffee shops (Hello Banana Dang + Camp Coffee). We haven't tried the Rooftop Bar but seeing as how it's vegan friendly, gives us the urge to visit this hotel again!

Yelp
Two night stay is perfect with a corner room Oceanview. If you don't get the Oceanview it'd bring down the vacationer enjoyment. There is no self park for the hotel but there is a separate lot across the street. Valet is about $44 a night. There is also a daily Destination or Resort fee each night. There are 3 restaurants attached: High/Low, Rooftop Bar & Valle. All of them have their own flair & worth a visit. The room I had (corner Oceanview) was beautiful, spacious and there was no other building to block my view. It is right next to the pier and Top Gun house. Security does keep up with keeping it safe. Valet peak time was check out and even getting a luggage cart was a hassle but definitely manageable. The beach is across the street and about 1-2 blocks to other shops & food spots. Not much of an incline. The area does have quite s bit of homeless...sad...but they just wander as anyone else would. Surfers & skateboarders are great people watching. Perfect location & great service.

Yelp
This hotel has it all: location, cleanliness, amenities, design and aesthetics! It was our first time staying here for a mini getaway for the two of us. The suite we booked was perfect! Huge room with breathtaking ocean views. The hotel is located walking distance to several great restaurants and is steps away from the beach. The onsite gym has everything from weights of all types, cardio machines, peletons, and cool towels for that post workout cool down. There are a number of food options within the hotel as well and their rooftop bar and pool are a must-see! Hands down one of our favorite hotels yet!

Yelp
This used to be our go to spot whenever we visited SoCal (several times a year) but the last few times the service has been horrendous. The front desk girls always have an attitude and are not helpful in anyway. In room dining food is disgusting and usually cold and dried up by the time it gets here. If you're looking for a high-end experience, I would not recommend this place

Yelp
The perfect getaway! Mission Pacific provided an amazing stay! From the location to the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly, and overall AMAZING! The location was awesome bc you are literally steps away from Oceanside beach. The best stay one can have and relax!

Yelp
- If you are planning a kid-free getaway, stay here at Mission Pacific. - if you are being kids, stay at the sister property immediately next door called The Seabird My wife and I had a great get away. Highlights were the room and all staff we encountered who were all super polite, friendly and accommodating. Quick meals, coffee and cocktails at High/Low were solid. Great rooftop bar and separated rooftop pool for hotel guests.

Yelp
Excellent weekend stay in the ocean view king suite! A new hotel across from the beach and adjacent to an equally beautiful sister hotel, Sea Bird. Check in was a breeze and the lobby felt luxurious, yet casual and chic. Our room was awesome! Probably one of the best hotel room floor plans I've stayed in; with a great entry, plenty of storage, a great couch/ sitting area, comfy chaise nook by the window and wide open bathroom with great shower and free standing soaking tub. Bed was very comfortable with the "8 pod" regulated temperature system that cools or heats the bed to your liking. The ocean view room was in a wing that faced the inner courtyard but had an angled view of the ocean. Ice machines and alkaline water stations on each floor was a plus. Overall, the room was the best part of our stay! Dog friendly for a (steep) fee. Nonetheless, we enjoyed having the pup with us and she defintely lived her best life in the room with us. The pool was on the rooftop with a great view. If you want a lounge chair with the pristine view on weekends, make sure you get there early. Pool was very minimalistic, limited lounge chairs and a few cabanas. Decent music playing in the background as you chill for a pool day. A couple of restaurants in the lobby, check out my review of Valle which was a great experience. Walking distance to bars/ cafes/ restaurants in Oceanside and you also have access to amenities at its sister hotel right across the street, Sea Bird. (Sunny's spa is at the Sea Bird, check my review on that too!) So why not 5 stars, you ask?! Well, we've stayed at a few hotels at this price point ($$$$) and Mission Point just missed a few finer details; Sun screen at the pool, more tailored service, amenities, and a few things missing from the room we had to request just to name a few points. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay! Tip: Valet parking is also pay-per- night and was fairly pricey ($44). There's a city lot one block down that you can pay for multiple overnights.

Yelp
I'm from Minnesota and hadn't been down in San Diego Ocean side in many years .I'm surprised with the new construction going on all over the city and pier .I want to give shout out to the housekeeping department on meeting my all needs ! Yelp
Hotel was super cute and in a great part of town. Super walkable and great for couples or families. We're San Diego locals so just catching a weekend away and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself was super clean and gorgeous and the food/coffee options in the hotel and around were also great. It was cloudy when we were there but the pool was still great and we went ace throwing about a block away. Good times!

Yelp
We had a bad experience with this resort but management helped us sort it out. While I'm not a fan of their fine print and policies, their staff was friendly and helpful. The manager Tyron is great, he deserves a raise.

Yelp
First off, It's a great location, Booked one of the oceanfront rooms which was amazing and had a great view of the pier. Then came the concert across the street next to the pier.....that was loud....that went on until 10pm.... To the hotels credit, they did offer ear plugs which tells me... 1. this happens a lot 2. there is nothing they can do about it 3. don't want to hear you complain. However, for nearly $600 PER NIGHT, they should note when there are concerts across the way when you book or better sound proof the rooms. It was UNBEARABLY LOUD. Never staying there again.

Yelp
This is my new favorite staycation spot. Not only are the rooms priced well, comfy beds, robes and shower shoes, balcony (some with ocean views) the staff here is literally the best I have ever experienced. They truly go above and beyond. And then we get to my favorite...The Rooftop Bar. With EXQUISITE views of the sunset, amazing cocktails and tapas and once again, IMPECCABLE service. My husband recently passed and we had a cocktail hour post his celebration of life ceremony and this team bent over backwards to help make it so special and memorable. Monica in food/bev management is an angel and just everything about the staff and this beautiful hotel is amazing. Don't think twice to book your stay here, it's the best in San Diego County!

Yelp
Beautiful new hotel in a fantastic location in Oceanside. Walking distance to the beach and excellent kids playground, as well as numerous shops and restaurants. Rooms felt new and clean. Ok sized suite - nothing huge and perhaps too small for two adults and a toddler but really great view of the beach. Loved the stand alone bath tub, and sliding doors that functioned as walls, deprecating the bathroom from the remaining suite. Water pressure wasn't great in bathroom but we made do. Excellent food at High Low Cafe downstairs. I'd recommend this clean modern hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Oceanside.

Yelp
I've never stayed here before and was a little hesitant about booking, but I was pleasantly surprised at how courteous the staff was, and how nice and clean the rooms were. The rooftop bar, and pool weren't that crowded when I visited and the cocktails were awesome. I can't wait to come back here when it's Summer.
