Mission X Tacos

A group of us went to try Mission X Tacos. As the vegetarian of the group I was ready to enjoy some guac, salsa, and chips. But was delighted to see cauliflower as a filling option! I had the most delicious cauliflower tacos with cilantro, onion, and delicious salsa. The tacos were so flavorful and I left full. Thank you Mission X Tacos for believing powerful flavor for all! I will be back!

Owner was super friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. Street taco special (ordered a second order to take home it was so good), Chicken Quesadilla, steak quesadilla, chicken queso taco, crunchy chicken taco and kids quesadilla. Fun atmosphere, kids loved it too. Will be back for sure.

This taco truck is a fantastic find! They're located where the Las Abuelas truck used to be, and they're definitely worth a visit. Their homemade tortillas are fresh and delicious, adding a perfect touch to every taco. The al pastor is amazing — tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with pineapple. The picadillo and chicken are both excellent as well, and the bisteq, marinated with orange, has a unique and delicious flavor. On top of that, the owner is incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. Definitely give this place a try!

The best food in all of Texas.. maybe anywhere! Everything on the menu is delicious! You can tell the food is made with love and care! AND they make their tacos with homemade tortillas! What’s better than that?! I don’t live in Texas but will gladly travel here to get some of their food!

Wow!!!!! Great new find in Dripping Springs. Guacamole is out of this world! Fresh chips, homemade tortillas……we had 3 different tacos (ground beef, pastor & Steak) all AMAZING! Can’t wait to come back!

Some of the best tacos I have ever had. The owner took the order then got right to cooking. Everything is fresh and made to order. The area is extremely pretty and clean. I will be coming back.

🏆 MICHELIN STAR QUALITY MEXICAN FOOD 🏆 in a truck Guys, I have been to NUMEROUS Mexican restaurants in Austin, Texas, and around the USA, and this food truck makes hands down the BEST Mexican food I have had thus far.. Jaime, the owner and head chef, doesn't take any shortcuts when it comes to his recipes; he is a perfectionist and a true master cook of Mexican food, and his quality and presentation shows! 🔥👨‍🍳🌮 This is also one of the few places that makes their chips FROM SCRATCH and serves them HOT and FRESH. The chips have the perfect amount of crispiness and enough integrity for dipping into large chunks of guac. Oh and their Guac is probably the best guac I've ever had as well; literally perfect freshness and taste everytime, perfect amount of lime and salt, etc. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu and everything is amazing. My favorite would have to be the pastor street tacos and sopes! Mission X Tacos embodies the pinnacle of culinary excellence! Never forget your mission!

It's True, this is Easily the best Taco Spot in the Whole city hands down, The environment is Top Tier' You Start at the front door Grab a Beer and then head to the covered patio around through the side doors to try their Sopa's, Trust Me if you've never ordered them before you Will Not Regret it. Bring the dog, Bring The Cat, bring the WHOLE Family, there is Enough seating for all, Side Note: Bring some bug spray for your legs if you are Easily attracted to mosquitoes, Because there is TRUE Beautiful Nature around to Enjoy'

We saw the post from taco trail and since we were in Austin for the UT game, we stopped by on the way back to SA. We were warmly greeted and our orders taken. Food was served promptly and it was very delicious. Chips and salsa were warm and tasty. The star of the show was definitely the nachos and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. Also, 1 star review is NOT for Mission X, it's for the bar.

We stopped by Mission X Tacos after the Longhorns football game on Saturday night. Fun fact, Texas Monthly had posted about them after visiting the previous day. Of course we had to try them! This is a food truck located outside of Hill Country Ice House. There's is plenty of outdoor seating. We were even told that we could wait inside (where there's cold AC) and enjoy some drinks. After traveling to the game, being in the sun all day, dehydrated, and famished, our eyes were bigger than our bellies. We wanted it all. The chef on site explained that they make their own flour tortillas and salsas, and fry their chips up fresh. We ordered an assortment including pastor taco on corn, bistec taco on flour, borracho nachos with chicken, and quesadilla. He even brought out some chips and salsa to enjoy while we waited. The starter was delicious. The chips were warm and crunchy and the salsa was something I could eat all day. It was fresh and flavorful with a very mild heat. The tacos were stuffed with the meats, onions, cilantro, and pineapple. They are fairly sizable and filling. Both the bistec and pastor were packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The quesadilla was filled with cheese and perfectly toasted. There was a little crunch and a lot of cheesy goodness. The chipotle cream was my favorite. A wedge of quesadilla with the beans and chipotle was a heavenly bite. The borracho nachos were delicious! A pile of freshly fried chips topped with chicken, beans, queso, jalapenos, pico, aguacate, and sour cream. The chicken was so good, some of the best I've had. The chips smothered in queso, beans, and salsas somehow managed to maintain optimum crispness. 10/10 That chicken was fantastic. The salsas were fresh and flavorful with just a touch of heat. The tortillas were fluffy and delicious. The only thing I would do different is ask for more salsas and cilantro and onions for the tacos. We will definitely come back for more.
