My experience with Missionary Mall has been deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share it due to a significant breach of their "2-year wear guarantee." The promise of durability and the 2 year wear guarantee was the primary reason I chose them for my son’s missionary attire, including shoes, in July 2024. The sales team's assurance of high-quality items, with statements like, "I have worn those shoes throughout my missionary service," convinced me we were making a solid investment.
Unfortunately, this was not the case. My son's shoes were completely worn out within just six months of his service in Argentina. Believing this was a fluke, we went in and received two new pairs under the guarantee. However, shipping them cost an additional $200 out of our pocket.
Another six months have passed, and he is once again in need of two new pairs. When I returned to the store, a representative admitted that the quality of the "old shoe" was not what they expected, and they were awaiting a new shipment of "updated shoes."
I check back a week later and the store did not have my son's size and could not provide a timeframe for when they would arrive.
I was directed to email customer support, but after a week, I still have not received a response. I am now facing the prospect of spending another $200 to ship more shoes to my son, with ZERO confidence in their quality. This entire ordeal has been frustrating and a significant financial burden. The "2-year guarantee" has proven to be an empty promise, and the lack of communication from customer support has been unacceptable. I am left feeling disappointed and out of options.
