April 2025 When my friend said "Simpsons pop up bar," I said "say less!" Fabulous strong drinks, excellent decor, great bartender, and good company made for the perfect pre-show happy hour. Definitely don't miss a chance to drink at Moe'z!

Jimeny jillickers! My new favorite place to get a Flaming Homer... errr, I mean a Flaming Moe. Stumbled across this place while still in its soft opening, and was so glad I didn't pass it up. The squishees were friggin delicous. The cocktails are spot-on, and the bartender and fellow patrons are more than willing to imbibe in Simpsons trivia. Replete with the family couch and a silent drunk at the corner of the bar moping over a Duff. Don't come in just for the photo op. Buy something or get the heck out. This is not a lending library.

“It stinks. It stinks. It stinks” is what I would say if I were a critic, but this bar won me over. I came in looking for steamed hams, but I must have misheard, and realized they only serve drinks. The Düff (from Sweden) was on tap, which was a rare surprise. Still I went for the Flaming Moes, the namesake drink of the bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the bar and its accuracy to a certain show. I only hope there will be trivia nights and other events to help gather like -minded people like the stone cutters. Prices were reasonable considering its location to Union Square. Some people may say it’s a cromulent bar, but this bar has the qualities of your local quirky neighborhood bar with its certain charm.

The Simpsons is my religion. Finding a Simpsons themed bar is the greatest thing ever. At least top 3. The themed drinks are incredible, and you can even get a Flaming Moe (sans cough syrup, of course) or an alcoholic Squishee! There's truly not enough food to be said about this place. You should already be here, and since you're not, start planning to get yourself here!

Terrible atmosphere with overpriced drinks. The Moe’z Tavern is filled with absurdly priced art that isn’t even good and is obsessed with San Jose. You will buy a Coors for $10 just because it says “Duff” on the glass. Do not recommend.

An absolute Christmas wonderland. The cocktails were really well made and not only tasted amazing, but looked amazing. As for the food, everything we ordered knocked it out of the park. Cookies and milk were amazing but the Green Eggs and Ham (deviled eggs) were stupid good and I don’t even like deviled eggs. The bar itself is so well decorated, you’ll feel like you’re at the North Pole. They also have a light show that goes to music ever once in a while. When someone orders the peppermint shot, they make it snow inside. If you’re looking for the best Christmas pop up this year, this place is it.

Pretty expensive (even for San Francisco) and WAY too loud to be a bar you could hang out in for very long. Also even though it was Sunday afternoon and the place wasn't very crowded, we waited and waited (and waited) to be acknowledged. Likely because we were not Marina Hipsters. The vibe was fine - and I did appreciate the unique holiday cocktails. We ordered a baked brie that was served in a sleigh.

Such a great time at the drag brunch here! The queens absolutely sleighed and the vibes were immaculate. The Christmas decor was really cute too. The food was also pretty good, I got the oyster dip which was delicious, and the espresso martini. Naughty waffles were both fun and yummy. 10/10 would recommend and don't forget to tip your performers!!

If you're looking for a place to indulge in Christmas spirit, this is the spot! I came across this new holiday pop up bar on Yelp and had to check it out when I saw the photos. Immediately when you walk in, it feels so festive -- it's a small building but it's decorated everywhere. When someone orders the candy cane shot, they also turn the lights off and make it "snow" with this machine for the whole bar. They also played great Christmas music. The menu was so unique as well -- there is a side for snacks and a side for drinks. We got the baked brie and it came in a cute little sleigh (pictured). It came with four small pieces of bread and the brie was so soft and flavorful. The outside part of the Brie was also edible (phyllo dough) and tasted pretty good. For drinks, we ordered the Apres Ski (kinda like a hot chocolate cocktail), grandma's cozy egg nog, mistletoe espresso martini, and Santa's grog (kind of like an apple cider cocktail). My favorite was the Apres Ski -- it actually tasted close to hot chocolate and the rum flavor was subtle. I also enjoyed the three marshmallows it came with at the top. I enjoyed trying the espresso martini and Santa's grog, and the egg nog was probably my least favorite of the four because the bourbon flavor was overpowering The staff were so friendly and attentive, and gave us mini candy canes as we were leaving. I am so glad I discovered this new holiday bar, I would love to come here again and support this local business!

This place is dope!! 10/10 Highly recommend. The cocktails are DELICIOUS!!! Gimme that Santa's Grog and Nog and all the snacks!! Literally every cocktail on the menu is winner. Bar is set up with all the accessories for spectacular drink flavors and garnish. Just so freakin cute!! Hella holly jolly. It's a little joint but it's got so much charm. Very Christmasy! Christmas lights inside and outside the bar. The Christmas light display inside is pretty sweet. Shout out to the tall young lady brunette bartender with the text chest tat. She was extremely on point. Top notch gal who put hella love into her beverages and work ethic. Hustler! Magical, enchanting, love the lights and "snow" even though it's slightly foam party vibes. I hope this pop up comes back every year. Gives SF and the Marina a bit of hope and sparkle we're in need of. I LOVE YOU MISTLETOE

The drinks are stiff. The atmosphere was festive and the foam snow machine was unexpected. The vibe is super fun and the Christmas light show was an awesome sight to put you in the spirit. Well worth the visit

Love this place! They just opened, the cocktails are awesome, and the food is on point. I haven't been to the drag brunch (yet) but I'm sure it's gonna be super fun. The whole place is super decked out -- red paint with green and gold stripes so it feels like the inside of a present. Sooo much garland, fun ornaments hanging from the ceiling, and a really great light/music show that they run every hour-ish. The tables have these super cute, cozy lil fireplaces and there's a sleigh at one end of the bar that you can stand in which is kinda perfect for photos. They clearly paid a lot of attention to detail! Highly recommend checking it out before this spot disappears in January!

Definitely visit this pop up bar. Has all the festive drinks & decorations & photo ops. The light show is fun & plays every 30 min or so. Service is great even on a busy night, I'm able to get a number of drinks. My friends and I all enjoyed. They did a really good job.

Visited this bar on grand opening event, and had an amazing time as friends. Very cozy and cool looking inside, love it! Cocktail list is nice, plus they can make any special for you as well:)

What a fun bar! I went here for so many good cocktails, space is large and definitely going to to come back for drag brunch!!!

Absolutely Fabulous!! Loved it. Went for our frriends' birthdays! Baked Brie delicious. Staff awesome. And the drag show fantastic!! Get some Christmas drag in this season!

Help please! I tried making a drag brunch reservation for tomorrow but event brite didn't give me an option to choose the date. I don't have a number to call, and I can't find a way to reserve for Sunday. How do I change this?

You must see the drag show, it's incredible! The queens were on fire and it was so entertaining! The decor and the themed drinks were great, the eggnog was delicious but the Christmas morning was the winner for me, very delicious! Service was very good, attentive, and drinks came fast. They don't have an atm but do have singles to trade in your larger bills for to tip.
