Recommended by friends from La Belle Tonki, so I came in expecting something a little quirky, a little wild, and full of flavour. That’s exactly what I got.
The setting is funky in the best way—laid-back, colorful, eclectic. It feels like the kind of place where you can wear mismatched socks and still feel cool. We had oysters (fresh and bright), cavatelli (cozy and comforting), beef tartare (rich and punchy), bhaji (crispy perfection), and fries (a whole personality of their own).
I went with a friend. We started out sharing everything, but by the end, the food was so good we were basically in a quiet custody battle over each dish. I may have lost a friend that day, but honestly, I’d do it again for that cavatelli.
10/10 would recommend. Just maybe go solo if your friendships are fragile.
