⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Mitch’s on El Patio We had an incredible dinner at Mitch’s on El Patio, and it deserves a full 5 stars from start to finish. From the moment we sat down, the service, atmosphere, and food were all exceptional. Our server, Mikey, was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and kept the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. You could tell he takes pride in what he does. We ordered three dishes, and every single one was a standout: 1. Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes & Asparagus Perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. The steak was tender with a rich, flavourful sear, and the sauce tied everything together without overpowering the meat. The mashed potatoes were silky, and the asparagus had the perfect bite. Truly a top-tier steak. 2. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice One of the best versions I’ve had anywhere. The crispy rice squares were golden and crunchy on the outside while still soft inside, topped with fresh tuna, avocado, and just the right amount of heat. The drizzle of sauce and sesame added amazing flavour. A must-order dish. 3. Salmon & Hamachi Sashimi Exceptionally fresh and melt-in-your-mouth quality. The presentation was beautiful, and the fish had that perfect clean taste you want from sashimi. You can tell they take sourcing seriously. Overall, Mitch’s on El Patio delivered on every level — food, service, and atmosphere. Mikey made the night even better, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and great service.

I want to say i found our server Sarah and our food was top notch!! Her timing and her warm personality was wonderful! Lobster and my filet was excellent. We enjoyed our early Valentines experience and try the Chocolate Balloon cake. Delicious!

I went to Mitch's for lunch with a group in the private room upstairs. Everything was fine, just not spectacular as I was expecting. I had the pesto and pistachio salmon. The Chinese Chicken Salad looked spectacular and I heard people say it was excellent. The atmosphere is probably better at night. I would probably not go back.

Our favorite restaurant in the desert! The food is exceptional, and the service equally as magnificent. Mitch is the consummate restaurateur and a fun host. Our favorite waiter is Daniel. The wine selection is spectacular, with a wide variety of delicious options at price points for everyone. You can’t go wrong here. The crispy rice is always a highlight. I’m always impressed with the sushi, and they nail any fish they put on the menu. This last time, I tried the pork chop which was one of the best I’ve had. Don’t miss an opportunity to eat here!

Went here for a birthday celebration, and it was a fantastic experience! It was also everyone's first time coming, and the whole group could not stop talking about how good the food and service were. Our waitress was so great at checking in with us about our drinks, food, and even making sure we weren't too hot since we sat outside. I didn't grab any photos of everyone else's food (we dug in almost immediately), but I did get mine! I ordered the jumbo shrimp and scallops plate. It was my first time trying scallops, actually. I loved the texture of those and that the food was SO hot and tasty. The mashed potatoes were divine (though I'm a sucker for anything potato). Overall, I would highly recommend coming here for any celebration.

Came out on a recommendation and so glad we did! Incredible sushi and sashimi. Denny, our bartender, recommended the baked oysters and they were to die for. We'll definitely be back- and will make reservations this time. 😀

You will not find a better restaurant or experience in all of the desert! Mitch the owner was fantastic from the minute he greeted us to the moment we left. Each and every staff member was friendly and attentive. The food was out of this world. Every course was incredible! We will be back soon. Greg and Margaret!

Such amazing food and such a great experience. The staff was incredible and their recommendations were top notch. Mitch and his wife were super friendly and stopped by to greet us. Sushi was incredibly fresh and unique combinations. Definitely eat the crispy rice!! And the non-sushi options were a hit too. Def save room for dessert.

Came here for dinner with friends and we sat outside on the patio. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. The upstairs was reserved for a party. Service was amazing and the food was really good. We all got different dishes, the lamb dish is supposed to be really good, but we all got salmon, steak, Seabass, and I got a steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, drizzled with a mushroom gravy that was absolutely delicious. My partner got the surf and turf, and the lobster was cooked to perfection. Our server Mallory was very friendly and attentive. For dessert, we got crème brûlée, bread, pudding, and chocolate balloon cake! The presentation for the chocolate balloon cake was beautiful. The crème brûlée you can tell is very fresh, and the bread pudding was very flavorful. It was a Friday night, so the place was packed, but that didn't stop the servers from being absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here.

It was our first time here and was referred by friends to visit. The food and service were nice. We dined outside under the hanging lights and it was a beautiful night. I think the bar area as you enter gives the restaurant a sports bar feel and takes away the high end dining experience of the restaurant.

I'm not sure what happened but I thought I posted my review of Mitch's earlier today but it seems to have gotten lost, or maybe I didn't actually post it or YELP did not print in when the owner complained. So here it is again to the best of my memory. The shrimp cocktail was the hit of the night while the sea bas was the sour note of the night. We all loved the very delicious shrimp cocktail and the wonderful red sauce accompaniment. As to the sea bass, fish is supposed to be served with a flaky texture. Unfortunately, this sea bass was a big disappointment as it had very little flavor and no texture. Much has been written about some restaurants serving "Sea Bass" that is not real sea bass but just some white fish. While I certainly can not say whether or not this sea bass was real sea bass I can say it was unworthy. JUST ADDED on 11/10/2025."I did some research on the internet and found a large number of sites, including AI, all of which described sea bass as "firm and flaky". This fish at Mitch's was anything but firm and flaky. It practically melted in your mouth as soon as it hit your tongue. No chewing required." That leaves only three possibilities in my opinion for the lack of texture and firmness and it could be any one of these three or any combination of them. 1) The fish was improperly cooked; 2) The fish was not fresh; 3) The fish was not genuine sea bass. FYI: "Sea bass is a marine fish in the family Serranidae and order Perciformes. There are about 475 species in this family." My wife ordered the pork chop which she said was delicious, juicy and properly cooked. And she loved the potato it came with. However, it was my opinion that, while the pork chop was a good cut it was poorly seasoned. It is also my opinion that Mitch's does not employ trained chefs but uses off the street line cooks. Again, I cannot say for sure as I am only guessing. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, somehow the owner, Mr. Epstein(SP?) got a hold of my post which I don't think was posted, and called me on the phone. I assumed he wanted to discuss my review, which I was happy to do, as two adults, and thought maybe he called to apologize for the fish. I initially felt like this especially as my review was measured and definitely said some good and some bad things about his restaurant. Was I ever wrong! After telling me who he was his tone changed to angry and he began yelling at me (my wife witnessed this as she was in the room) and said he was very insulted that I said his fish was not real sea bass which I NEVER said. As I did not appreciate his yelling at me or the fact that he outright lied about my review I hung up on him. While Shakespeare wrote,... "The lady doth protest too much, me thinks"., I think this is an appropriate thought for Mr. Epstein. And, I think Mr. Epstein would benefit greatly from an anger management class and learning how to properly and appropriately deal with dissatisfied customers.. I don't know if YELP intends to publish my response to Jamie S although they published hers so I am adding my response below. I'm not sure why you found my comments and thoughts "both offensive and disrespectful to suggest that our culinary team--made up of highly trained and experienced professionals--are "off the street line cooks." but I think "disappointing" would not have been insulting as your words were. I have eaten at many restaurants with highly trained and experienced staff and their names, previous restaurants where they cheffed, their accomplishments, awards and accolades are almost always prominently displayed on the menu. There was no such display on yours. Restaurants tend to want to brag about their staff when they can. Again, as with Mr. Epstein, I felt attacked by you just for voicing my opinions. While I definitely intended no disrespect or offense, at the same time I'm certainly entitled to my opinions. Also, I noticed that you did not include any certificates for your staff as to cooking schools attended and completed or a list of their culinary backgrounds and experiences. Basically, your statement that your staff are "highly trained and experienced professionals" is just your opinion, just like my comments were just my opinion. I never claimed to be an expert on either subject and allowed for the possibility that I was wrong on my assessments. While your reply was assuredly at least somewhat acceptable, unlike your boss, Mr. Epstein, whose attitude and words were completely unacceptable, it is my opinion that you both need to learn better communication skills especially with customers who voice some disappointments with your restaurant.

We went to Mitch's for the second time this year. We had a really positive experience the first time and they did not disappoint this time. It started off with a bit of drama with a disruptive patron near where we were seated. When we asked to move Mitch and his staff went way beyond to accommodate us. The entire staff are outstanding and provided outstanding service. Seth was our server, he did a great job the entire evening. The ambience of this establishment is first rate. The patio is warm and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the seasonal music. The seafood paella, seared ahi, and the poke tacos were perfect.

Best restaurant, best food & amazing staff & owners ! Came here as a recommendation from a friend & my entire family would not stop talking about how delicious and flavorful the food was ! The staff went above and beyond & the ambience with live music was the perfect touch !! The restaurant is a decent size so you don't feel stuffy ! The owners kept coming by and making sure everything was too perfection and it was ! We will most definitely be back ! We never wanted to leave :)

This is the place I always take out of town guests to, as the quality of the food and service is stellar, the ambiance is great and this restaurant is managed so well. Today we had a large social group event here, and I can't think of any other restaurant in the entire valley that is as effective and delightful. I had just arrived from Mexico five days prior and shortly thereafter embarked on a very long drive/journey across the States (NY to NC, NC to AZ, AZ to ID, ID back to AZ, then AZ to Palm Springs where I am now). Upon my arrival, I simply wanted a great steak, a bottle of wine and some atmosphere. Of course, I hit up Yelp to see what they had to say and then asked the locals where I could find a great cut of beef and even nicer view (the ladies). I settled on Mitch's. Unfortunately, what I ended up with was a mediocre Ribeye and overcooked, overly seasoned Scallops. The good news is that they serve it with a side of complacency, "so I had that going for me, which is nice". (Caddyshack ref for those who didn't get it). I selected this dish because Hokkaido, the northern most of the Japanese islands, is well known for its' exceptional seafood; specifically their scallops. In all honesty I didn't get a very good vibe from this place as they are fairly pretentious in their approach. You do not feel at all welcome or that your presence matters in the slightest. My waitress was incredibly aloof and rushed everything to the table without a presence of mind to allow me to relax and take it all in. Perhaps they had a bad night, or perhaps this is just how this place is. I just so happened to meet the owner that evening and he was about as pleasant as a root canal. One would surmise this is the norm based upon that alone. As always, I'll leave you to it and until next time ........Ciao Bella.

We love Mitch's--truly the best seafood in the Palm Desert area and such a fun spot for drinks with friends or watching a game on TV. The drink menu is super extensive, and the sushi and seafood are top-notch. I especially love the regular rolls, crispy rice, and truffle fries. It's always busy for a reason--this place is awesome! It's loud and crowded, but that just adds to the fun.

We were looking for the perfect place to eat, that was open early enough so that we could still catch the hockey game down at the arena! I was pleasantly surprised that Mitch's was already serving dinner at 4:30 ! I wish that I could explain to you this sushi I got, and dang it I don't remember the name of it. But just remember, it's a sushi roll dish that is not listed on their little sushi form, it's actually on the menu. It had just the right amount of spicy tuna with perfect flavor that avocado and crunch that you want mixed with another flavor that I haven't tasted before that I could see becoming very addicted and I will probably have to go to rehab to get off of this sushi, it was that good Unbelievably delicious. Combine that with the blood orange margarita, and it was the perfect crafted cocktail. Everything was proportioned and mixed perfectly.! I just told one of my best friends that I will be taking him back there and it's gonna be one of my new favorites. I never get out of Palm Springs downtown or Cathedral city so now I got a little Palm Desert spot to eat dinner at.! I think we were greeted either by the manager or the owner but he was delightful. Also, it's one of the few places that has valet parking., which is what I miss the most about living in LA. Very good size portions, especially for the money and my friends fillet and beautifully designed creamy mashed potatoes were fabulous. We also got some kind of jalapeño appetizer that's to die for.. the flavor kinda develops in your mouth as you're eating it and then finishes it off with a little pop of spiciness that's just perfect! They had the most beautiful courtyard outdoor area, and the weather was just perfect last night , but also the inside is meticulously and beautifully decorated with a very unique vibe that mixes kind of like classiness with a lounge, kinda five star restaurant. I didn't plan on leaving a review so I wasn't thinking about remembering names, but our waitress a pretty blonde lady was so sweet and so helpful. Even when it got very busy, the service staff was extremely attentive constantly making sure you had a refill, your water was filled, asking did I want more wasabi, etc. We got there at 4:30, but by about 530 the whole patio was full, and it had a hyper vibe of everyone laughing and talking, but you were able to visit with your dining partner without any problems! Definitely and for sure my new favorite! Did I mention the blood orange margaritas? Lmao! There was a good mix of your typical wealthy looking PALM Desert crowd if you know what I mean, but also a lot of attractive younger crowd, mixed in with every other type of person in between ! Although somewhere dressed up , I felt very comfortable in my little designer tea, black shorts and my New Adidas kicks. Lol! Yummy Yummy Yummy , I will be back for more soon. I woke up this morning already craving it, that's what I know I really enjoyed a meal!

Mitch's is a great seafood and steak restaurant with a massive outdoor patio. Today, we were inside. It was elegant and warm. The waiter service was fantastic and friendly. We loved their masterful cocktails, especially the espresso martini. The sushi and oysters were great appetizers. Their chocolate dessert that melts off was a fun dessert to watch and eat.

First, let me start by saying that I would definitely go here again. I would just do things a little differently. Although it did not give you a choice for inside or outside when making the reservation on Open Table, our party of 6 arrived to find out that we were being seated outside. Although it is a lovely patio, the misters do not extend out to the open part of the patio where we were seated. It was 100 degrees when we got there, so it was VERY hot. They eventually set up a fan next to our table after we complained, which made it slightly better, especially while the misters were on, as it occasionally pulled some of that coolness over to our table. Then they turned the misters off. Unless you are ok with eating in 100 degree temperature, request inside seating or to sit where the misters are. On to the service. While our server was very nice, made great recommendations, I had to flag him down at least 4 times during our meal for various reasons, something I wouldn't expect at a restaurant of this caliber. I ordered a blood orange martini (they have a blood orange margarita on the menu, so i asked if i could get a blood orange Martini). When it arrived, it had black tahin salt on the rim. I flagged our server down to say that i was not expecting salt on a vodka martini, could he bring me one with sugar instead, which he did right away. I also thought that perhaps he could have checked in on us more frequently. Now the food. It was restaurant week, and 5 of the 6 of us in our party ordered off that menu. Everyone was happy with their choices. I ordered the Crispy Rice appetizer that our server recommended (I wanted a tuna appetizer) which was AMAZING! There were 5 pieces, and I savored every one. I also ordered the 808 roll which was delicious. Although they include wasabi and ginger on my plate, they did not provide me with a dish to put the soy/wasabi into, so I just ate it plain, which was still good, but I would have preferred to have the soy/wasabi. I just didn't want to have to flag our server down again. I would definitely recommend this place, i just had to take off one star due to our specific experience.

Mitch is the maitre d' and owner & very welcoming. We sat at a cocktail table in the bar area as it was baseball playoffs and an NFL game. We enjoyed drinks and sushi menu items. They sent out a wonderful dessert for our anniversary. Our server was friendly as well.

So our first dining experience in Palm Desert was at Mitch's restaurant. The restaurant has seating inside and outside and the outside is lovely. For this evening's dinner, we tried the lamb, the sea bass and the duck. Our server, Able, was very good at describing each of the different entrée meals and was very attentive to our table. All I can say is the dinner here was out of this world. Not only was the food amazing, but the experience, the service, and attention to detail by the owners was amazing! I would highly recommend if you're ever out in the Palm Springs area, I believe you would be very happy and very satisfied with this dining experience. I give it five stars.

It was my first time at Mitch's and it did not disappoint. Make your way here for a fun and enjoyable experience. Our server ( Michael ) was very nice and we had the manager ( Mitch ) check on us to make sure we were satisfied. It's always nice to see managers care and be hands on when it comes to a dining experience. I wish I took better pictures, but I was too excited to eat. My macadamia crusted lamb was perfectly medium rare like I asked and the prawns were to die for.I didn't even get a picture of our second dessert ( one of the best bread puddings I have ever had ). We will be back.

This place was really good! It's really nice inside with tons of seating outside! The food was delicious, yes it was a bit pricey, but to me, it was worth it for the quality you get! The staff is amazing and the service is fantastic! The sushi is really good and the appetizers were amazing. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend for an amazing night out date night or a romantic night out!

Booked this restaurant for a business/birthday celebration dinner. I had never heard of it, nor had the people I asked, so I was somewhat skeptical upon arriving. Our group was blown away! Fantastic service, the drinks were delicious, and the food was top notch.. every person cleared their plate. We had the sea bass, scallops, chicken, and a few appetizers that were SO GOOD! We were so full for desert, but they brought out complimentary birthday desert and we decided to order another one.. it was amazing. The outdoor seating was gorgeous, and very spacious. I had such a lovely evening and I can't wait to go back next time I'm in the desert, and I'll definitely be telling everyone I know about this restaurant. Thank you for a great experience!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Mitch's. The restaurant is beautiful... offering both indoor and outdoor dining we opted for the beautiful outdoor patio with its heating lamps and fire pits all ablaze! Our server was Caleb, he was an absolute joy. He was very knowledgeable on both the drink and dining menu. Our meal arrived and it was absolute perfection! The various rounds of martinis were also spectacular! The evening ended with a beautiful molten lava cake, which was absolutely delicious. We look forward to returning back to Mitch's soon!

We tried to make reservations online after so many people recommended this place but 4 people in your party is required for online reservations. Despite that, we walked right in to a beautiful table on the twinkling patio. Service was excellent from our first step in the door through our walk back out to our car. There is free valet parking but we drove by an open spot on the street and just parked there. We started our meal with a crunchy shrimp roll. Fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Great start. Given the seafood focus, I had shrimp and scallops and husband had the sea bass. Both meals came with delicious sides. Lots of colors, flavors, and textures. The fish was cooked perfectly. Good choices. Our waiter (I believe it was Biff?) was excellent. He told me about half price bottles of wine so I was able to get a glass with dinner and cork the rest for later for a similar price. We finished with a crème brûlée which was light and a great finish to a perfect meal.

My husband and I met some friends from out of town, online this place seems nice. The only thing impressive honestly, was their sushi. Service was subpar, drinks took forever to come out and parts of our main entrees were over cooked. To say the least we weren't impressed, but nonetheless we had a good time. The real issue came later.. Mitch's on El Paso, for whatever reason charged me TWICE for our meal. Originally, the almost $500 total was held on my account for 5 days until it FINALLY processed. Then 3 days after that they charged me a second time, 8 days later .. When calling to resolve the issue my husband was passed around from person to person multiple times because no one was capable of giving a reason. Hours later the owner reached out, he was extremely passive and rude, but they did send a return voucher and email. We definitely we not be returning to Mitch's on El Paso.

Mitch's is a MUST try while visiting in Palm Springs! The food is to die for and the variety is amazing enough to please the entire party! This is one of my favorite places to visit while I am traveling in Palm Desert / Palm Springs area. They are always busy and have fast service never disappointed! The ambiance is lively with great outdoor seating. Just make sure you check their calendar as they do close in the summer months as I normally travel in June/ July and they are closed.

One of the best restaurants in the desert, was their last week with another couple! I was bummed when they told me they close for 3 months in the spring! First the food was incredible. We started with popcorn shrimp so yummy, I had sea bass with a miso glaze, and truffle fries and a salad. Even the bread was so good and hot. The service was also incredible. Then we had dessert. It was a chocolate ball with ice cream inside, they poured hot chocolate on it and it melted and was so so good. Everyone enjoyed the food and service. We sat outside, and it was so lovely ! Highly enjoyed

Really nice place. Great menu but very pricey. Their Aperol Yuzu Spritz cocktail is delicious. They have some nice roll choices. My hubby and I went last week. Two rolls and two cocktails...$87 Before tip. Like I said...a little pricey! There are less expensive options for sushi in the desert. Beautiful interior, very nice service.

Still fabulous! On a return trip to Palm Desert, we of course had to go back to Mitch's and it did not disappoint. Frankly, it far outpaced the less-than-stellar experience at Nobu the night before. The menu has many wonderful items, but we stuck with appetizers and sushi and had a delicious meal again. The wine list was great, sushi was incredibly fresh and tasty, and the honeymoon oysters (with added uni) were well worth the price. There is nothing like arriving at a restaurant to be greeted by the happy, convivial owner. What a welcoming experience! And what a pleasure to watch Mitch greet each guest as if they were family. The staff seems very happy and were all professional, friendly, and fun. We will always go to Mitch's whenever we return to Palm Desert, which I hope is many more times.

We take a yearly girls trip to La Quinta and always make it a point to have dinner at Mitch's. The atmosphere, the food, the drinks are always on point. And Daniel! I can't say enough good things about his humor, knowledge, and patience with us indecisive ladies! He even suggested somewhere to go after for our night out. Mitch and his lovely wife are always a treat to talk to. Thank you again and we will be back next time!

The shrimp & lobster truffle fries are delicious!! This is a nice spot and the ambiance is great. Mitch's has a very extensive wine list. I've had several dishes here and everything has been delicious. The service was good and quick. There is a nice variety of appetizers and desserts available to choose from. They do accept walk-ins but reservations are recommended if you have a medium to large size party. There is also a valet available.

Took my parents here for their 70th Anniversary. Delicious and with great service. Ordered the Dover sole and it did not disappoint.

It was my sisters first time here. We loved all of the appetizers and all the desserts. However, the entrées were not too good. The chicken was dry, and shrimp fettuccine was something we would not order again. Usually we love everything here. They closed the patio due to wind so the upstairs was really busy. The service was excellent as well. We loved the apple dessert, soup, salad, and the sushi. They are closing soon for summer and we will be back in the fall.

Don't ever come here!! The owner was SO rude. I have never had a worst experience in my entire life. We had a reservation for 4 outside. When checking in they told us they only had seating for inside, but told them we would wait for outside. The owner came to us and yelled at us that we should just sit inside, and we politely declined and told him we would wait. Once we eventually got seated outside, he came over to say something snarky, and then PURPOSELY dropped iced water on me. Infront of everyone and pretended it was an accident. I was soaking wet and in shock I just sat there. The waiter immediately came over and apologized for his behavior. Apparently he has anger issues and behaves like this often. DO NOT support this man or his restaurant.

PHENOMENAL!! I attended Mitch's for my Burthday last night and to say they made it special would be an understatement. We sat at a table on their beautiful patio and the owner and manager stopped by to ensure our time was enjoyable. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and friendly. We ordered not one but TWO plates of the crispy rice 10/10. Hamachi sashimi reminded me of a dish I had in Hawaii. The 808 roll was delicious and my birthday dessert was perfect! We are already planning another night with dinner at MITCH'S at the top of the list.

This place is so worth it! Fantastic experience! The service was warm and attentive, the vibe was just right--relaxed yet lively--and the food was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be coming back! I believe they do close for the summer.

Mitch's took my breath away! The quality, taste and presentation of their seafood was excellent. The ahi and ahi taco appetizer was one of the best I have ever had. The restaurant has a wide welcoming area when you walk in. I was greeted warmly but the owner when checking in with my reservations. The owner has a great presence helping and greeting people throughout the restaurant during dinner. The restaurant is busy and larger than it looks from the outside. The service was incredible! Note - a good potion of the restaurant has an outside patio. They use misters to cool down the area but not the entire patio has the misters. Note- the restaurant offers complimentary valet parking. The sign is hard to see so be on the look out.

We dined here with our monthly supper club group. Beautiful patio for starters. Our server was attentive, but she seemed a bit overwhelmed with the number of tables she had. The food I had was OK. I had a the lobster on top of fried rice and the rice was actually better than the lobster. Also, I have never been served a lobster out of the shell without butter.. maybe this is a new trend, but I don't like it. Drinks were not too slow on the first round but took awhile on the second. (Another table patron had actually stopped while our server was taking our order to complain about that so it may have thrown her off her rhythm serving us) I'd still give her 5 stars for communication skills, but some things were just out of her control. The worst part of the service was the lack of attention from the rest of the service staff... our dishes were piling up and we gathered them up on our own so the server could take them. And the water was never refilled even though we asked a few times. If this was a medium priced place, I'd have let that go, but given the prices, I expected more. I'd return if others want to, but I think there are better options in the area like Lavender Bistro..

Service was great, our server Ignacio gives us the best recommendations on drinks and food, the steak was delicious! 100% recommend!

We were a party of nine. The food and service were exceptional. Definitely recommend Mitch's and will definitely be back!

Mitch's on El Paseo Prime Seafood was an excellent experience for dinner due to the delicious food, attentive service, and great ambiance. My wife and I had an excellent time with our daughter dining on ahi tuna, sushi, chilean sea bass, and all the assorted vegetables served with dinner.

I cannot remember having a better dining experience. We went for a milestone birthday and everything was perfect. The service, the food, it was all superb. We started with oysters, which were exquisite, and the scallop appetizer. At that point I switched my order. I was not planning on more seafood but they obviously know what they are doing. So we ordered the miso sea bass and more scallops, both of which were heavenly. Just before dessert, out came the special birthday gift that I had asked them earlier in the day to present. We couldn't have asked for a nicer evening out. What a special treat.

just disappointed. soggy brussels sprouts and garlic edemame. other food was good. Chilean Seabass very good. I asked for Casa Azul neet and they served me something else without letting me know. I found out by going to the bar and asked to see the bottle. bartender said they that don't have that (but it's on the menu). UPDATE- the owner called me to apologize about the poor service. I give him props for that. Good vibe at the restaurant.

We love Mitch's. This was our third time. Tonight, for the first time, we had a glitch with one entree. However, the manager was very apologetic and comped us, so it was ok in the end. The food for two of the three entrees was great and we all had a nice time.

Really enjoyed dinner at this spot the other night. I have been wanting to go there, but this was my first time. Very interesting building, it has a big inside dining room and a gigantic patio w/upstairs for parties. They do a great job setting up the dining with Mountain View's. Bar at one end and sushi bar at the other. I had sushi rolls and was very happy with my food. Very good fish. Also oysters were ok. Great staff. Server was attentive knowledgeable about the restaurant. Also greeted by Mitch on the way in. Definitely worth it. I'll. Be back.

This is a must experience place to be Awesome interior & bar We ordered the Grey & Berry Mai Tai x2, Beet Salad, Sashimi sampler, Unagi Nigiri, Jumbo Shrimp & Scallops, Chilean Sea-bass and ultimate Birthday dessert The infamous Chocolate Balloon Cake The food was delicious cooked to perfection Hand clap for the wait staff Thank you for an awesome birthday experience

This was an amazing dining experience. Our server was very attentive and very nice. We started with a cocktail. I'm picky about lemon drops and it was made perfectly. We also had an espresso martini that looked really good too. We ordered the stuffed jalapeño poppers and sushi roll for an appetizer. We followed with a split Caesar Salad followed by a split rack of lamb. Flavors are tantalizing and a treat. Wine menu is extensive and price ranges vary. Desert was the best I've ever had. Hard shell chocolate over ice cream and fudge sauce. Love the outdoor dining atmosphere.

Outstanding service and food! First timers and Mitch's did not disappoint. The ambiance on the patio was divine and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend.

We go to Mitch's once a week. And It's Wonderful !!! That's why we keep going back. The Owners are Very focused on their restaurant and professionalism of the staff and quality of the food. They recently had a Credit card glitch (which we had been charged twice as well. And gave them the time to fix it). It is just so ignorant of people to just jump on here and complain and accuse when they don't know the full story and don't let people correct mistakes. I guess they think they are the perfect people that never make mistakes or errors in their life and immediately jump to anger. In conclusion, be Nice ...... Mitch's is GREAT

When was the last time a server asked you "What temperature would you like your salmon prepared to?". After I heard that, I knew that we knew we were in for a great dinner. Contrary to what most people think, salmon should be prepared to "medium" (125 degrees) and not be cooked to well-done. The salmon that I received was cooked to medium. It was delicious and moist! It always makes me sad when I see salmon with the white goop called albumin. That means your salmon was overcooked. My dining partner ordered the lamb chops medium rare and it was also cooked perfectly. My partner who considers himself a lamp chops aficionado, considers this the best lamb chops in the valley. Better than Spencer's and Lavender. Check out my photos to see how perfectly medium rare they cooked his lamb chops. The service was very friendly. The inside dining was nice and not overly pretentious. We were there celebrating a special occasion and the staff was constantly congratulating me on the special occasion.

This place is absolutely fantastic first time here and did not disappoint. From service to food to the atmosphere. Hit every aspect you want to enjoy at such a wonderful place. Let's start with service top notch from all staff they were excellent. Waiter was fantastic recommended a lot of different options very friendly. Buss staff was excellent and bartenders and hosts excellent also. Management checked on our table also. You guys are doing fantastic. Now food this is a seafood place but we tried some of their sushi rolls and I have had some great sushi at top notch sushi places. This place is probably in my top for sushi absolutely tremendous. We got the 808 roll which was like shrimp tempura roll with a few extras in it absolutely amazing. The jalapeño roll was so fantastic also. I got another roll later on a shrimp tempura fresh and excellent also. The other at my table got a ribeye tried a bite cooked to perfection and so flavor. The other person got a shrimp cocktail and calamari dish he also said so fresh and excellent. Prices are a little up there but well worth it. Drinks are very generous but poured perfectly and done well. I will be back here to try some main entrees but appetizers and drinks here are very filling and this place is a great time. Very busy so I would recommend reservations. It's very spacious in inside and done so well from seating to interior ambiance it's beautiful. Great experience nothing has to change.

Well we have gone her for many years and it's like living a dream again except this time they offered up a fabulous desert for me since it was my birthday. Lunch was good my wife had crepes which were very good we shared some garlic rice and fries which were good and I had linguine and lobster and shrimp this dish was very good but the best I am sorry I was told what it was but totally forgot so here it goes It was a chocolate cake to die for with scoop or ice cream covered with a hard shell of again chocolate and a hot little cop of caramel. They poured it over and the shell melted down on to the cake and caramel was spread all over the ice cream cake and dish it was just wonderful and it was on the house for my birthday what more can u ask for not sure I know anyways I am a very happy guy with service great and friendly too

Great food. Lauren the server was amazing! Been to several restaurants while on vacation here in Palm Desert. Hands down this was the best service with excellent recommendations by Lauren. We sat outdoors which was lovely & would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
