Great new theater venue. Amazing view from any seat. Can’t wait for the new productions. N/A was wonderful and highly entertaining.

A subterranean marvel...this is an intimate, pristine performance space. The venue made our evening of theater a night to remember. The production of Flex was beautifully staged to house a basketball court and a full-size car. Another reason why the Lincoln Center campus is unparalleled anywhere in the world. Bravo!

Not sure why. But the usherers refuse to engage. I literally have to come up to them and begged for a copy of the Playbill.

Lovely little theater in the round. Saw Greater Clements, loved it! A very intimate experience, even the last row of seats are very close.

Yelp
I recently visited the Mitzi Newhouse Theater to see The Blood Quilt, and it was a fantastic experience. The theater is small, so any seat offers a great view of the stage, and I was lucky enough to sit in the last row center section, which turned out to be perfect. While the seats are on the smaller side, they were comfortable enough for the 2-hour show with an intermission. The drinks at the theater are a bit pricey, but the special drink created for the show was delicious and definitely worth trying. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The intimate setting of the Mitzi Newhouse made the performance feel personal and engaging, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to see a great show in a cozy venue.

Yelp
Saw The Epiphany on a Tuesday night. Seats F 13 and F 15 were great seats--so close to the stage. There truly are no bad seats in the house--the theater is very small, so you get an intimate experience with the cast on a stage that seems within your grasp. The Epiphany lasted two hours without intermission. The stage set and decor was lovely--very realistic and the actors were even eating a real dinner. However, I was honestly expecting more, but no spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the performance yet. The cast was outstanding, but the plot and dialogue didn't catch my breath away by any means. The first half of the show felt very drawn out and a few patrons left.

Yelp
We saw "Nantucket Sleigh Ride" at the Mitzi E Newhouse Theater, located at Lincoln Center. The play made clever use of the stage; the majority of the action took place on stage, but characters would appear in the doors above (see pic), giving the set a quasi second floor. John Larroquette stars as playwright Mundie who re-examines what happened in Nantucket one summer long ago after now-grown siblings (who were residents of the island) pay him a visit. With two sides to the twisted story, it's hard to know what is real & who to believe. Good stuff! The theater's semi-circle of seats is intimate enough that there'd be a good view from anywhere. Catch an off-broadway play here, just be sure to leave oversized bags or jackets at home, as there is no coat check or lockers, which made the otherwise decent-sized seats feel cramped.

Yelp
The BF and I visited the Mitzi to see Durang's "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike". The theater itself is utilitarian (in a good way) and it was exciting to see some big name actors in such a small venue. Highlights: - Intimately sized - Stadium-style, semi-circle seating arrangement with clear sight lines - Wonderful accoustics - Pleasant staff Tip: The address is on 65th but it is a part of Lincoln Center so if you walk into Lincoln Center's main courtyard off Columbus and head toward the right you'll find it without walking around the side.

Yelp
3-stars, only due to the awesomeness of the intimate space, comfortable and large seating, and cool lockers for storing your belongings (if you can grab one). Other than that....meh. Very steep stairs, sight lines are a nightmare with this very "nearly theater in the round" stage (which is also up to each Director to conquer. But my colleague has seen MANY shows in this space, and has always had this complaint...and I concur), hallways leading to certain seating areas are very narrow, which makes getting to your seat or bathroom difficult, and not a drop of reception being underground. I would never NOT see a piece of theater just because of the space. But definitely not my favorite venue in the city.

Yelp
Saw Dada woof papa hot at this theatre tonight . The play was great, the sets were greater! Nice acoustics, I sat in the back and could see and hear everything perfectly. Small theatre in Lincoln Center. Comfortable seats - semi circular seating. The lockers are no longer in use due to security reasons - I asked. Clean bathroom. M65 bus is right outside. There are many restaurants nearby but they are very pricey- I checked at least seven different restaurants . They had security too.
