Popped into day and brought a large fruit bun. The bun was not fresh it was very dry and had to end up disappointingly throw it away after spending £7.50. I WISH I LIVED NEARER WHERE I WOULD HAVE RETURNED THIS STALE BUN.

My brother bought two Jamaican buns from Mixed Blessings in Tooting each costing £7.50 and gave me one as he knows how much I love my bun. However, neither of us could eat any more than two slices. It was not only dry and flavourless but didn't even taste like bun. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Sorry to say, it was the worst bun ever!

My mum (and I) have been going here for many years to get our hard dough bread and sometimes patties. They are very nice. Staff always seem nice. A couple of criticisms is, sometimes reaching them on the phone to order can be hard, you may have to call a few times to get through. And they only take cash, which can be inconvenient as I stopped carrying cash on my prior to covid. Other than that I would recommend them.

I went to buy brown bread at Mixed Blessings Bakery on Friday 20th 2023 at some minutes past 5pm. I mistook the closing time to be 6pm. The nice lady behind the counter saw me - a tired postman with a worried look- through the glass door. She unlocked the door and beckoned me in to make my purchase. That single act of kindness saved the day for me. The nice lady deserves every opportunity the business can afford her.

Just tried the new West Indian bakery in Camberwell. First impressions are good. My daughter and I love the long fruit bun - a bit like a sweet malt loaf and great toasted with butter. Staff friendly too. Glad we stopped by.

First time going this bakery. The bread was delicious! Fresh & warm. 🍞 The patties were flavoursome with flaky pastry. Lots of other baked goods available. Continuous stream of loyal customers. A well respected local business. The Baker & the lady serving were lovely. Look forward to going there again soon 🙏

Upset I ordered bun and cheese which was cheap burger slice cheese and hard spiced bun that was as dry as Gandhi’s flip flops, Ended up throwing out the window so At least the birds won’t go hungry, if they can swallow it *rolls eye* However I’ll go back and try the patties but I ain’t in no rush that’s for sure.

Only place I'll buy hardo bread from in London, period. Softness and sweetness is perfect. Only thing I would recommend is making sure bread is ready when they open not later in the day. Can't understand the negative comments tbh.
