"Located in the spot that used to be Savor at Studio 3807 — Prince George’s County’s first food hall — miXt Food Hall features both the old and the new. The Little Miner Taco stand remains, where diners can choose from its viral quesabirria tacos (and birria burritos and birria cheesesteaks) alongside hearty dishes like carne asada fries. New options include Relish Market, described as a “year-round indoor farmers market,” and new options for Vigilante Coffee drinis (miXt Drink) and local beer or cocktails (miXt Brew)." - Kalina Newman, Eater Staff

Ladies' day out, and we met up here. I love that they have a free parking garage. Tried food from 3 places. Would go back to try the Roman pizza spot and get a burger.

Went to the Burger Shop and stepped over to the Relish Market. The Burger Shop - my burger was good and juicy. The wait wasn't very long. I will definitely go back. The Relish Market - was fascinated as soon as we walked in. I love teas and spices, so after ordering my food, off I went. They have a great selection of teas and tea ware. They also had a bunch of seasoning and spices - 4 different kinds of salt (Merlot, Black Lava, Himalayan and another), chipotle, jerk, curry, cinnamon, cloves and so much more. As for teas, I tried Honeybush, a new one I saw on an Instagram post, and Hibiscus. So looking forward to going back t ok tey more.

Came here for the first time on a Wednesday for lunch. There are 4 different places to eat along with a small shop. Tried the chai latte and regular latte which my husband said was really good. The chai was not bad. Tasted mostly like milk. We tried out Mush. My tenders were really good, crispy and flavorful. My husband's sandwich was their version of a Philly cheese steak and he enjoyed it as well. Everything was clean and the atmosphere was nice.

Slightly smaller food hall than others in the region, but really great selection! Tried the burger and tacos and both were great. Bartenders were also fast and helpful in choosing a beverage

Mixture Food Hall offers a variety of vegan foods, desserts, drinks, organic supplements, oils & herbs, play areas, arcade machines & including sport TV monitors, seating areas,180° bar area, upperstairs lounge space, 5 individual restrooms, parking space. The only downside was that baby strollers couldn't be rolled into from sidewalk & had to lift up the stairs. The art moral could be used for a photo background.

We ordered two Margarita Flights while we waited for our food at Spice Kitchen. The drinks were ok… because they were pre-mixed and had a lot of syrup. I did mentioned that to the bartender and she topped off my drink which was very kind. (The drink was definitely not made fresh. There was a pre-mixed pitcher in the mini fridge where my drink was poured from) I didn’t think they were friendly- no one even said hello when we sat down. I had to call them over for assistance and we were the only people seated at the bar. I would definitely visit again and try another drink or possibly food. Because it’s a Food Hall you do not have to sit at the bar they also have table seating available.

I checked out the venue on Thursday evening - the same day as their weekly trivia night, which was definitely a major pull factor!! Who doesn’t love testing their general knowledge, history, and song identification talents every now and again?? The food hall has a good number of vendor options to choose from depending on your mood. There’s west African cuisine, a Mexican restaurant, vegan, charcuterie board stand plus more!! So, safe to say there is something for just about everyone. Unfortunately as it was later in the evening, a lot of the vendors had either closed up for the day or had limited items left on their menus. It was a rainy evening - so, I decided to go with something spicy to warm me up. I opted for Spice Kitchen’s Suya Platter with shrimp, jollof rice and spinach. My friend had similar, but she ordered plantains and spinach for her sides. We were super impressed that the food was ready in all of 7 mins!!! And it was quite tasty. The drinks that we had at miXt Drink were all super yumm! Highlights were definitely the Coconut Cartel & Pricked & Smoked cocktails!!! If you’re a fan of Mezcal - the Pricked & Smoked is definitely a must-try!!! This would be a great place to go with a group of friends or on your own. The space has a good energy about it.

Google
Secret food hall in Mt. Rainer, Maryland. There is an organic smoothie shop, a vegan place, an African chicken place (Nigerian?), a Mexican place, a dessert ice cream place, and a bar. Plus art on the walls, bar specials (trivia on Thursday nights), and places to sit. There is a bit of parking in front and a bit in the garage. The prices are not cheap but the goods are are interesting. Check it out.

Yelp
Love this place! Food, service and ambiance. They have vendors with speciality items, small shop for your health needs, and various food options. Even an alcoholic beverage if you desire.

Evan P.

Yelp
Very underrated food hall that hosts regular events like concerts and trivia. They've got a loft good for parties, large bar downstairs, and numerous games for kids and adults. Service is fast, it's not overly crowded, and they have a great selection of food and local brews.

Brittney W.

Yelp
I came to the burger shop around 5:35pm on a Monday. They promptly took my order and said it would be ready in about 8 minutes and that is exactly what happened. The burger was yummy but I did expect a bit more flavor. The fries were ok and had the right amount of salt. I would come back to give it another shot.

Sami L.

Yelp
Great market with a few local shops. First of all, the space it is in is so great. There are classes on the top which really makes the culture pop. I tried a tea from the coffee shop, but I was very impressed by the small shop selling sea moss, mushrooms and other unique items.

Sylvia A.

Yelp
I love this place!! Definitely feeling it! I love the "Mush". I have tried numerous sandwiches and enjoyed them all. Even the greens were tasty. Definitely fell in love with the sliced sweet potato dessert with nuts. I will make it a point to drop by this location at least once a month and enjoy some adult beverages at the bar as well. Nice hangout spot on the weekends. They have plenty of seating available on the lower level as well as the upper level. Enjoy the photography while you're up there. I love Spice Kitchen as well. Never disappointed in the service I receive as well as the good food!

Yelp
So we ventured over to try after looking up some good eats on Yelp! I'm glad we tried this place out. The food hall was clean, not busy at all for a Friday night and everyone was pleasant and friendly. Not to mention the playlist was hitting on all the jams tonight! We ordered from the Taco restaurant, La Michoacana and African Spice. We also ordered a few drinks from the bar... My Barria tacos, fries, & Mexican corn were delicious as well as my husband's steak, jollof rice, plantains and spinach efo-riro that he ordered from Spices Kitchen. Everything was flavorful. Next time I'm definitely going with Spice Kitchen!! ;))) I also had a margarita flight from the bar, that consisted of the Prickly Pear, Blackberry and Guava Margaritas...these were all too sweet for my taste buds lol But at least I can cross them off my to try list! My husband enjoyed his old fashion. I'm glad we opted for something new tonight. I must say my first thought was like "a food court" compared to what's inside a mall...hahahaaa! But not even. I was actually impressed from our experience. Thanks Yelp for being on point with this recommendations. & Don't forget to check in while you're here and take advantage of all the discounts they offer :))))) Happy Yelping!

Yelp
A great mix of food. Parking garage space is limited, be aware, but If you do find space, you can walk straight into the hall. The mix of food, culture, and lifestyles in one space brings people from all walks of life together to share a meal or drink or attend an event. It's fantastic to see the space get filled up and everyone so happy with the excellent service all the vendors provide.

Linda V.

Yelp
Service was good and drinks were great ! Cool place to come and hang with lots of space and seating. Drinks from the bar were absolutely amazing especially the guava margarita and the jalapeño cucumber margarita. Had some wings from the spice African kitchen and some fries from mush both were amazing. Chicken was perfectly seasoned, moist on the inside crunchy on the out. The fries from mush were almost like five guys pretty flavorful. Hope they add on more restaurants to this food hall it can turn out to be a great hang out spot for after hours and weekends.

Yelp
So let's start with the surprise of electric charging stations in the garage (2). I mean this Tesla is not going to charge itself amirite! Seriously that was a pleasant surprise and I wish more places had that available. By more places I mean EVERY place :). Right across from those parking spots is the entrance to Mixt Food Hall. This is uber convenient so you don't have to walk a block or two to get to your destination as you do most other places in the city for example. It gives me DC vibes but it's in the suburbs? Huh...that in and of itself is a bonus. I come in and I'm greeted with gender neutral bathrooms (needed that) right next to the entrance. That way in case you took a long drive you don't have to go searching for the restroom. It is very welcoming and thank God they have seat covers. I can't believe there are places that haven't invested in seat covers by now. It gives old school cafeteria whenever I do not see them. It has a hip decor as well. Oh let me not forget the full length mirror on the way out for all to check themselves out. I stopped past Relish Market which is a natural foods and supplies shop. I purchased some Sea Moss Gel because I want to see what the hype is all about. She ships all around the U.S. and provided her business card for me. Check out her website. Next I ordered some Steak & Bean empanadas sans cilantro (because no) from La Michoacána and they were delicious. It came with about 3 empanadas and various sauces. Then I got my Guava Margarita from Mixt Brew Bar and that too was delicious. They had a number of other drinks that I think I will try next time I visit...oh and there will be a next time. The seating is open and there are cute little private nooks where you can meet a date for example (winks in single woman). I would definitely recommend this place and I will be visiting again...now that I know I can charge while hanging out. Why has it taken me so long to discover this place. It's a vibe for sure.

Yelp
My second time at this place. My initial visit was to the Relish Market where I purchased some very healthy food items. This time I came back by to visit Mush and then bumped in Spiced Kitchen- West African Grill. I ordered a izzi chicken (fried oyster mushroom sandwich w/Cole slaw) and fries. I was going to get my son something to go. My fries were the end of the bag, so a lot of small pieces. I pibe fries. For real. This time not so much the grease needed to be changed. My sandwich looked gorgeous and I couldn't wait to get it in. While I gobbled my food down, I just noticed the taste of old grease. So while I wanted to fall in love I could not. Again as always, glad I stopped by. Probably won't again. I also had a Berry cocktail. That tasted ver good. Not heavy on the alcohol. Actually I didn't even taste the alcohol. More of a juice. While I was gobbling my food down we waited for my husbands food from the Spice Kitchen. They told us 45 minute wait on Leg quarters. It was def the same amount of time for the Salmon. But my husband was shaking his head the entire time. While he was getting it in, my stomach was hurting. Def try the Spice Kitchen. Salmon, jollof rice, and plantains. Again not sure why we cannot convince some of these vendors to make way to the South Side of the beltway. We like good food on our side and we spend money for good food.

Yelp
Very solid food and drink options (4.5/5). - Spice Kitchen (5/5) - get the Shrimp plate!! Honestly the Shrimp Suya is not to be missed, the flavors are awesome. Got a side of spinach riro and plantains. - Mush (4.5/5) - vegan banh mi and collard greens were very flavorful. Fried mushrooms were done nicely. Def down to try more items from here - Mixt - got the Tropical breeze (5/5) - this was so refreshing! Passion fruit, pineapple, coconut water and lime, freshly mixed and the drinks are very reasonably priced. Pretty awesome that they also incorporate local art. The relish store was also very cute, they offer many spices, cbd products, and more. Would recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
I've been here a couple times over the years -- in fact, I was around moreso when Uncaged Chefs was in it... throwback, right? So I'm still working my way through the individual restaurants, so I'll just speak on the space itself. As with a lot of the area, it's ARTSY!! There's some stunning art up that were done by local artists, and lots of seating. There's a spacious bar with some cocktails that I still need to try, but there's even MORE seating upstairs, and even MORE art! In addition to the food and drinks, it's just a great space to hang out and read, work, stare at the walls, catch up with a friend... or whatever you want to do! It's interesting to think that PG County alone has 5 food halls (that I know of), but to me this one kind of stands out from the rest in terms of proximity. I can't wait to try all of the things in the near future!

Ben W.

Yelp
Lately, I've been choosing to do my remote work from home at miXt food hall. I'll either go to the upstairs loft space, which is always quiet and not too crowded, or on nice days, sit on the outdoor patio. There's free wifi and parking which makes things easy. Coffee, which I drink A LOT of, is delicious, fast, and reasonably priced. On days off school, I'll even bring my daughter who is easily occupied by the children's play area and loves the kids sliders at the Burger Shop. Would recommend for anyone who works remote or needs to bring the kids somewhere on a rainy day.

Joel A.

Yelp
First time here, only 2 vendors during the week one with West Africa food and the other Latin. The hall is pretty big with a bar and a smaller space for a vendor with Vegetarian dishes. On weekends other vendors come in. Tables for dining, WiFi available too. Taco Tuesday here so that's what l had 3 tacos for eleven bucks l had one chicken, one beef, and one pork served with a fresh garnish along with 2 sauces. Completely fresh and savory. Very small however. So check out the portions before you buy. I was hungry that day and had to go home and make a sandwich. lol all in all a nice place.

Vilay S.

Yelp
Whether it's to grab a quick lunch, camp out for an afternoon of telework, or scheduling a meet-up for your social group of choice, I like miXt for its versatility. The bar in the middle lends to a community atmosphere and it's a nice place to get to know your neighbors a little more. I had never had West African food before but I tried Spice Kitchen and my eyes were opened! I love spicy food and I find myself craving the chicken and rice. Bonus points when I get lucky and can score a charging spot in the tight garage.

Phil B.

Yelp
A great place to hang out with plenty of food options that are tasty. I highly recommend.

Lynn W.

Yelp
This is a great place for coffee and breakfast. The atmosphere is very comfortable and I appreciate the easily accessible outlets right on the hardwood tables. We were so impressed during a visit this morning when the director, Sandy, informed us they were experiencing a partial power outage that morning but they were maneuvering through the challenges. It didn't impact their operations and the food arrived hot and tasty. The food hall also has Spice Kitchen West African Grill, Lamichoacana Tacos and Mush eateries. The Loft Gallery features displays of local artists and is worth looking at while visiting. My daughter is a regular visitor and has found it to be a great place to meet friends and use for getting work done with her laptop.

Guy H.

Yelp
Arrived just before 11 to find the vendors getting set up, so didn't have a chance to grab food but had a coffee at the bar and Rivka was super nice and helped me get a delicious London Fog Latte and a guava margarita! Great service! Great atmosphere with some music in the background. Tenants that live above the hall have an amazing downstairs place to grab a morning coffee or some light food.

DON C.

Yelp
Love the whole vibe of this place! The Short: Amazing food. Great communal small-business collective, eating outlet and space. Welcoming. Bright and a cool, comfortable vibe. The place is a very cool concept. Many food vendors under one roof. Fresh, eclectic and great food options. They house 4 distinct food options, all fantastic....authentic Mexican, West African, Seafood, Soul Food & Bar Eats. Each is distinctive in their own right and all of them are delicious. Minor Taco is my "go-to" and favorite. There is also a really good health food store and market called Relish Market. A one stop shop for everything from teas, species, local grocery finds, snacks juice bar, incredible hot sauces.....jewelry, soaps, nutritional supplements, to the.....ever-popular sea moss and refrigerated vegetarian sandwiches, wraps and meals to go. I always make it an effort to stop to this place and see what's new. Lately some of the stores have been changing frequently or every so often. The last time I was there, there was a pop up for a bakery & cheese cake store that was to die for. Wish they would become a main staple at this place. . Delicious bite sized tasty cheesecakes.....in many great flavors. In all, it's a great community gathering place for friends, families and children. There is even a play space for the little one to hangout as well. The only improvement needed with this place is the parking. Parking is very limited and hard to find depending on the time of day. Other than this, I highly recommend and we definitely will be back.

Markiea K.

Yelp
I frequented this place often when I lived nearby. The bar offers a diverse selection of food and drinks, including coffee in the morning, making it a worthwhile visit. Despite seeing several businesses come and go, I've never been disappointed by any of the resident establishments. The service is consistently excellent, with super friendly staff, and the ambiance is relaxed. I particularly enjoy their occasional events, ranging from game nights to markets to comedy shows.

dan g.

Yelp
Mush DC is where we ate in the food hall. ALL VEGAN and tasty! Seasoned fried mushrooms are the star here and you can get them in a pretty wide variety of sandwiches or bowls. Bahn mi was tasty, could have used miss Sriracha mayo and I like a more flavorful topping but the mushroom was nice and tasty fried goodness. The "chick'n" sandwich was solid but my daughter would have liked more pickles. My wife had one of the rice bowls and she liked it but thought it was all a little salty. The food hall itself is very nice with great art and a cool vibe.

Ashley S.

Yelp
From the food selection to the drinks...always great quality and consistency. I also enjoy the art upstairs and the showcases. It's a hidden gem for sure!

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Good variety and food was very tasty. I would definitely recommend. I love that they have live entertainment on some nights. It was a pleasant surprise.

Jazmine G.

Yelp
Food Hall Review! Guys, I really enjoyed my time at @mixtfoodhall with @bgexploredc! Food halls are my fave because it allows you to try out a variety of local mini-restaurants and vendors all under one roof! Definitely give MiXt a visit and let me know what you think! My favorite vendors were Spice Kitchen (Spicy Wings) and the fried fish platter from HK Fishhouse

Ty M.

Yelp
Had an amazing time. Going to Yelp's mix at hall food event. Took me quite some time to find some parking, but once I did, I was definitely in there having an amazing time. It's always good to see Yelp ease from a different area say hi and reminisce about the amazing food that we had While we were there. I got to test some different foods as well as different drinks from other restaurants within the mix it hall. . I'm not gonna lie the vegan food. There was really good and kind of stole the show for me. The vegan oysters really legit tasted like oysters!! I was so convinced that I bought a sandwich lol definitely would go back! There was also a dessert vendor with amazing cheesecake. I just forgot their name overall great time!!

Sally F.

Yelp
Top notch, will-be-back-again, Angus burger at "The Burger Shop by Ismael Montero" super fresh, habit-forming and delicious Mexican food at La Michoacana! Loved the real 70's style pinball machines. The bar has delicious mocktails and there's friendly service everywhere (we got some free delicious super fresh salsa from La Michoacana) everyone is super nice. The music wasn't too loud so we could have a conversation. Loved the art everywhere and the general ambiance. Hope to come back again soon.

Kasi M.

Yelp
I love what is happening here. A mix of local artists and businesses sharing a space. Came for the diva drag brunch and had the best time. Beautiful space, great cocktails, wonderful servers and good prices. Would love to return for other events.

Felicia C.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming here for a few of my favorite bites and drinks. If you visit, I flavor-ably recommend: Kenny's Kale - their kale salads are scrumptious! I'm sure you'll see something that entices your palate on the menu. Little Miner Taco - their Mexican street corn is my fav! In fact I usually pair a side of street corn with my kale! I've also had their jackfruit tacos which were pretty good. From the Mixt bar - the margaritas are always a hit, both the classic or guava...delish! Also the bar is pretty spacious with comfy chairs. Parking - I've never had an issue with parking. The free garage is not big, but every time I go it's never packed.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Good place for a casual lunch. Not too many food options but that's okay if you're not picky. Went for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all.

Anthony L.

Yelp
Absolutely love this location! $5 margs all day on Tuesday. The service is great and the ambiance is relaxed. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Christine A.

Yelp
I started coming here for Little Miner then fell in love with Relish and now the bar. They've officially began offering happy hour too which is such a nice treat. I got the mezcal drink to wash down my birria tacos which was mentioned as a perfect pair and they weren't lying! They have upstairs seating which is nice to go upstairs away from the different vendors and foot traffic. There's a few awesome vendors there to stop by such as Relish and the new Spice Kitchen. I look forward to coming back to try different food and drinks.

Paula S.

Yelp
I recently visited to try out Spice Kitchen and I definitely intend to return. The hall is very spacious and I look forward to more food businesses coming here. The food at Spice Kitchen was so tasty. Unfortunately they don't sell bottled water but there was another business that sells spices and other items where I could purchase water. The tables were appropriately distanced given current circumstances and there were hand sanitizers at the doors.

GK N.

Yelp
This is a cool little food court spot. Open, airy seating area... Mush serves up nice array of cocktails, beers, and vegan bites. Grab food from Spice Kitchen West African-style dishes or Michoacan if you're in the mood for Mexican, and set up at tables, counters, or the bar. Really enjoyed the Spice Kitchen chicken platter with jollof rice. It brought a little heat, so be aware if you don't do...um, Spicy. Michoacan street tacos were very good and my partner loved the birrias. Will definitely return.

Maurisha M.

Yelp
I stumbled on this place and so glad I did. The space is cute and bright, and has a small but eclectic assortment of food options. I stopped at the Relish Market and loved the assortment of health foods. I look forward to coming back again.

Steve R.

Yelp
Too crammed for the event I attended. It wasn't a well designed space for a large group. Food and service was excellent.

Cassandra W.

Yelp
MiXt Brew is my favorite place to work! Sandy and the team are some of the best baristas in the area. They use coffee from Vigilante and it is delicious! I love the atmosphere at MiXt. Great vibe for networking or focused productivity. You can work at the bar, the corner space, or the loft gallery (upstairs). I bring all my friends for the games and drinks in the afternoon. Highly recommend the cappuccino and scones!

Isaiah J.

Yelp
DO NOT VISIT THE BAR!!! Ron was my server/ bartender and was not hospitable, personable, or welcoming during my experience. It was like our patronage annoyed him. He never asked if we enjoyed our drinks and the drinks were not very fresh tasting and often times presented in the incorrect glassware. "His and Hers" is a black owned business down the street and is your better bet.
