Honestly I was kind of hesitant before trying but trust you will never regret it, The quality is amazing and the portions are very satisfying, everything is prepared in front of you from fresh ingredients and the staff also are very nice will definitely be back again ❤️❤️

Generally have found the food good and especially salads and sides. Have brought friends in and it’s a nice enough atmosphere to eat with few other guests. Today I got a simple Caesar - there seemed like only 6-8 croutons so I asked if I could have a couple more and was told that I would have to pay. Given that my bill was over $19, I will not be coming back. The avocado was about a third brown. Sigh. Maybe sweet greens next door is a better choice.

Ordered this for delivery. These salads are brilliant! Great balance between the various ingredients. Caesar dressing was traditional and delicious. Grilled chicken was tender and well spiced. Falafel, with avocado and dressing was creamy and texturally spectacular. The real star was the crispy cauliflower. Sauce makes it all come together. Yes please! 100% would go back.

Loads of options for different combinations, some vegan options (falafel and Tofu) but would love some more options. The salad was really delicious though and I would get it again for sure. The Freshly squeezed lemonade was tart and refreshing I loved it.

I stumbled across this place and was very much surprised. Food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Love the atmosphere great music plenty of sunlight. Nice clean restaurant. If you’re looking for a place for some very bold new takes on salads I would recommend coming here. The salad that I got was a cowboy. I had a little bit of a kick and wasn’t too sweet. And they give you more than enough so I was very full but more importantly satisfied at the end of my meal. The next time I’m in Santa Monica and I’m craving a salad iamb 100% coming to this place. They have a large variety of salads plus you can even customize your own. I also bought they are fresh squeezed lemonade and guess what? It actually taste like lemonade and not sugar water with lemon zest‼️ It was the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. Personally, I would like for it to be a little bit tarter but it still works.

Very tasty bowls! This is a great place to get some healthy food. There’s a lot of options for vegans as well ☺️ I designed my own bowl and would highly recommend 💯

I was excited to try this place. The sandwich I ordered was good but the salad was missing a vital ingredient. I got the orchard salad but it came with no apples. I tried to find a phone number to the place online to let them know but I couldn't find one anywhere so I had to post this here in the hopes they will contact me and do something to try to make my next experience better.

We've never eaten here since they don't have outdoor seating, but we have ordered delivery and pickup and multiple times, and they never disappoint. Definitely one of our top salad places in Santa Monica. The combinations they suggest are well put together with nice contrast in taste and texture between the leaves, protein, and other accoutrements, and their ingredients are always fresh and high quality. Portions are generous. Some of my favorites include: elote, mandarin, Jing's chili crisp

Fresh ingredients and amazing value -- you get a giant bowl that's good for at least one (probably two) meal. Love that you can choose from a variety of pre-made bowls/salads or build your own. Great to have a healthier option for lunch and dinner in Santa Monica that's reasonably priced!

Decided to stop by Mixt Santa Monica for lunch, and didn't regret it. They have endless options for salads. You can design your own or select from a ready menu. They also have sandwiches and warm bowls. I went with DYO so I could select what I like. It was great - good portion, tasted very good, and ingredients were fresh. I really liked the balsamic dressing with it. The restaurant was clean with nice decor. Fabian helped me and was wonderful.

Part of it is kind of like the other salad places where you can create your own. I get overwhelmed and ordered a Ceasar and it was delicious. My mom ordered the Mandarin salad and I kept stealing bites. The chicken on her salad was sooooo yummy! It was nice and clean inside but there were also only a couple customers besides us. The service was great. Answered all of my questions, was super friendly, and with a smile. This was my first time coming here and I'm glad we tried it because I will be going back.

Mixt is a total gem, and a weekly go to spot for lunch, or a lite dinner. Lettuce choices are excellent, but where Mixt really shines is the mix-ins and dressings. Tons of fresh choices. From healthy to crunchy to clever. Favorites include blanched Brussels sprouts, spiced sweet potatoes, fresh fennel, and the croutons. And my favorite dressing is the lemon tahini. But there are literally dozens of choices. You can go there regularly and never have the same thing twice. Or just put your favorites on repeat. Terrific concept, outstanding execution. Enjoy!!

Love this place. Great ceasar and warm bowls. Their crispy cauliflower is so so good too. Carrot, turmeric, strawberry drink is also a win. Service is hit or miss but when it's a miss it's still a hit. Although they aren't super great with large orders for some reason. Sometimes literally something different than what you ordered lol, not even wrong just different. I love their sun room sitting area. Big and airy. I own a space close by and it's a go-to!

Low rate place, took 2 hours to prepare our group lunch. The Uber Eats guy waited forever and probably lost out on other deliveries bc of them.

This is a super expensive place .. for salad. Over $50 for two salads. So when the delivery comes and the order isn't correct-- it's super disappointing. There's also no way to contact the restaurant. Any issues with an order can only be pursued thru their "help" / contact via email (no chat avail) so if you have an incorrect order or something is missing -- you're forced to send an email, and then wait over 24 hours to hear anything (if you hear back at all..) When the order is correct the food IS good -- but it really depends on getting the right combination -- In this instance they omitted the chipotle honey drizzle that accompanies the "Cowboy" salad is really the star of the meal-- so to see it substituted with some orange thick gross "dressing" (it was so thick -- I couldn't even use it.). I contacted the company thru email over a week ago, received an auto-generated response and then it was never followed up. Thankfully there are many other options in downtown Santa Monica & I'd recommend going there or only going to Mixt in person so you can watch them make the salad.

First time coming here. Was thinking of getting a salad but went for the bowl! Quality ingredients and what's cool is you can see them make the food. Service was top notch with a cool dine in place. Will definitely come back

What a great salad spot! A good hidden study spot if the coffee shops are full. Leif really helped out and speed up the line. he's a super good worker especially for only being here for two weeks. Anyways, really enjoyed my experience here, the ambiance is great.

Be-LEAF-me, @mixt is definitely a must try if you're looking for a salad in LA! I love how you can MIX things up with either their build your own and pre-fixed options, which are perfect if you're indecisive like I am. Their quality is consistent throughout both their Bay Area and LA chains, and I love how you can get unbelievably large portions with very fresh ingredients for very reasonable prices! My go-to's are the Mandarin salad and Mixt Crispy Chicken Sandwich, but their new Peachy salad definitely takes the spotlight, and I would highly recommend checking them out while peach season is in full swing. The food is quite good, although the service is quite bad. The servers don't really acknowledge your existence unless they have to. The ingredients are pretty fresh but also expensive for just a salad.

Salads here are huge and love the variety they have!! I wasn't crazy about the marinated tofu and I wish the design your own salad came with a bit more of the toppings (they allow only 5 and don't put much of any of them on - as you can see). Their reciped salads might be a better choice! They seem to include more and aren't much more expensive. The service is pretty good, although that might depend on who's making your salad It's a peaceful spot, good for lunch or even for studying (saw a few people with their laptops out). Would definitely return!

Second time they have given us the dried out trimmings for a "beaded chicken' salad order. This was through a doordash delivery, so I cannot reach a manager directly. I have written to the company but nothing has changed. What is changing is that I will no longer order from them plus I will post this honest review of a restaurant that is sending out sub-standard food orders. It's NOT okay to literally send an order out with using what should be disgards of chopped up chicken. I will post to BBB, Google reviews, FB and any other review service out there. Train your employees properly and have them throw out end trimming cuts that do not have any chick in them and make sure that the product isn't overcooked or dried out as it was today. Shame on you.'

I've tried many salad spots. Sweet Green is ok but limited. MIXT has more options and options for create your own. The dressing is way better and flavors are delicious. My only complaint is the bread option. Every time I've had it. Too dry and tastes like cardboard. I say find a new vendor for your bread. That's the same with Sweet Green

Great healthy options- good for vegans and meat eaters, good flavors, sit down in restaurant environment with fast order at the counter service

Moral of the story: a brown avocado will ruin everything. Service is friendly. They answer your questions and give you time to make up your mind. Ambience is chic. Probably one of more pretty salad spots in Santa Monica (and there are a lot in walking distance). Just don't give me a browned avocado. I didn't not come to a salad spot to have a subpar avocado. The browned avocado ruined a otherwise fine salad. You can't be LA's favorite salad (as the sign outside claims) with a brown avocado. California knows knows how to do avocado. Please do not ruin our reputation with a gross New York style avocado.

Great healthy lunch option located opposite REI. Spacious interior and super friendly staff. The portions are huge here and the ingredients are fresh so you really feel like you're getting a good deal. I love that they have real plates, utensils and cups. They even have a compost/recycling bin. Yay! DYO Salad - 5/5 I got half greens and half quinoa. They really don't skimp on the black quinoa which made the appearance a bit creepy once mixed together. Still, I happily consumed everything including the yummy 5 toppings that I chose. Get the sweet potato and cauliflower! I wish the toppings portions were a little more generous. Mediterranean Bowl - 5/5 This was the tastier salad between the two. Chicken was a little dry but still good. Loved the crunchy pita chips that added texture to the dish. I happily downloaded the MIXT app to earn points for future freebies as I will definitely be returning! P.S. Their bathrooms are CLEAN!

Stopped by for a quick bite and Mixt did not disappoint! It was my first time there so I wasn't sure what to order but was helped by Vanessa and she gave me a few suggestions on what to get. The food was VERY delicious and customer service was great! Overall the experience was great!! *Piece of advice: ask for Vanessa and she'll hook it up with the best items and great service!!

Disappointing. Doesn't taste especially fresh, and delivery salads have come somewhat soggy. Can get much better for the money. Tried a few times and it didn't improve so won't be going back.

I wish I could give this place more stars as the salad was really good but to wait in line for over 20 minutes is ridiculous. They either don't have enough staff or they prioritize the mobile orders over guests standing there. Insane. Won't be back. Sadly it was good. But there are other places that are way more efficient.

There tends to be a lack of healthy fast casual options in Santa Monica, so it's nice to have MIXT as a new addition. They have a good size menu featuring many different salads. You can also customize your own with a bunch of various ingredients. One of our salads was missing its avocado and the employee seemed confused about our requests, but the manager was very friendly and provided great service to get what we needed. I also appreciate them providing metal cups for water, rather than plastic. The salads here are large and could perhaps share across 2 people if you get a side with it. While there are some minor kinks to work out, I think this place has a lot of potential. Would definitely recommend if you need something quick for lunch.

Food is good. Organic and vegan is great. Servers are nice. Free parking in city garages for 1.5hr nearby. BUT - "design your own bowl" says "choose a base, select 5 specialty ingredients, add a protein, dress it up". Fails entirely to mention that tofu is $3.45 and chicken is $4.45 EXTRA. Fine to charge for whatever. Not fine to make it look included and surprise you on your bill.

food is bomb!!! salads are sooooo good. little on the pricey side but i guess thats normal these days. the servers are very nice. the place is clean. good lil spot

This place is underrated. Build your own salad for $12, they are GIANT. Extremely clean, kind, and beautiful.

I'm so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I stopped in with two friends for lunch and it wasn't too busy, only one group ahead of us. The options for the curated salads and bowls were a lot more extensive than I thought. I got one of the seasonal salads and added some of the sweet potatoes and it was so delicious. Even though the meal was ~$20 the portion was HUGE and made it really worth it. I'll gladly come back!

Great salad. So much better than SOUR GREENS next door. Delicious, generous portions. Customer service is excellent here. This place is a welcome addition to Santa Monica. Go Mixt.

I love MIXT! It's a little overwhelming when you're not sure what to get when you're trying new place but Basil & Vanessa helped me and I enjoyed every part of my meal! Both my mom & I got the Bachan's Bowl and we loved it! Definitely recommend! Good food + great customer service

am really excited about this place! Great place for build-your-own bowls, salads, and wraps. Great option to accommodate people with all kinds of dietary needs/preferences, as there are vegan/vegetarian options and it's build you're own so you can also avoid allergens. I built my own with butter lettuce, quinoa, tofu, and a variety of toppings. Jose was the nicest server ever! Let me try fennel before adding it (which was clutch because I realized I hate fennel lol). Super good portions. I ate all of mine but my boyfriend was able to get 1.5-2 servings out of his Bachan Bowl. He said it was bomb. I'd say pricing is very reasonable for quality (mine was like $16 and his was $13 or $14 before tip, drink taxes, etc.) Is a great option for taking to-go and people watching on Ocean Blvd or on 3rd street promenade. Also seemed like a nice place to dine in but we took ours to Palisades Park. Will come back for sure!

The people are almost as great as the food, and the food will create a new follow to riches for you just to have some healthy and tasty salad combos from here.

Just had lunch at this location and compelled to write a review for the stellar experience that my sisters and I received. Vanessa - was just sooo nice and attentive. The place was also spotless (11/4/2024 around 11:30am) anyway she delivered a wonderful customer experience and we really enjoyed her service.

Salad was divine, fresh, & oh so healthy!!!! I'll be back again and again. Plus, it's walkable for me!

I stopped in for a quick bite. The staff were friendly. I ordered the Pacifica. The salad was pretty good. I enjoyed the crispy chicken. They also offer a slice of bread to accompany the salad. The salad was $15.38 with tax. It's a good portion for the price.

The best salad I think i maybe have ever had! The employees were all very helpful, the restaurant looked very clean, and the salad was actually a decent price. I would definitely recommend this place if u like salads or bowls! Will be going back tomorrow for more!

Food: salad and dressing were fresh, the free bread was very stale ( not the first time). Service: ordered by app and the food was ready on time. Cleanliness: restaurant was clean, bathroom was clean and fully supplied. Ambiance: very good, we were greeted by employees on our way to pick up section.

I'm a salad connoisseur and regular at all the salad competitors, so I know my salads. I just ordered the saddest, grossest salad at Mixt Santa Monica last night. It was the Bachelor salad with light dressing. I took it to-go and by the time I got home 6 minutes later, it was soggy, wilted, all pure mush, and very little lettuce in the cont. It was way overdressed even though I said light dressing. I didn't watch her make it so I wonder if it was made earlier and just sitting. I had to throw it away. This salad was so incredibly disappointing; what a waste of $18! Side note: staff are not very friendly. They make you feel like you're burdening them when you ask for utensils, napkins, and a bag. Either offer these things or make them accessible, but don't make me feel like I'm asking you for your first born.

Their salads are always large, delicious and reasonably priced. Will happily get a MixT salad whenever I see one of their locations.

Happened to be on the area and saw this was a grand opening, so I had to stop in for lunch! Food was fresh and they had great options for vegetarians and vegans. The girl who helped with my order was really sweet and answered my questions. The manager Juan came over too and was really friendly and seemed super on top of things! I will definitely be back soon!

This place looks cute but their bowls cost ~ $20 + with tax and tip. Here is a photos of the three different bowls we tried a Caesar, Harvest and Rustic Salad and we each paid $20 for 98% lettuce. My friend who's salad is in the center had to keep taking lettuce out in order to actually eat something besides lettuce. I'm happy I tried it but I will definitely keep my business next door at Sweet Greens where I get much more for my money at a better price!

Good salads. The online menu shows conflicting calorie count. LA Times says best salads in city. I'm not sold.

I tried this place for the first time last night with a friend. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Our salads were both huge and delicious. The place was so cute and clean with great seating options. I'll be back. And I very much prefer this to the Sweet Green around the corner.

I ordered catering for a very important board lunch... I ordered a week in advance and put in the notes... please let me know asap if you can't be on time... 45 minutes late... I am absolutely mortified and embarrassed in front of my board of directors that I couldn't get a simple catering order to show up on time. Do not use as they are not dependable.

Great for what it is. Sweetgreens but good! a little more money perhaps but worth it in my book. Elote salad was fresh and tasty. Karla was super nice.

Mixt is my favorite spot to stop by when coming from Burke Williams or just walking in the area. They make any kind of salad you like and the portions are generous. Service has been good every time, and my favorite item is the fried cauliflower, it is sooo good, but doesn't travel well. I pop it in the air fryer or just eat onsite. I'm vegetarian so sometimes it's hard to find anything other than salads so these were a wonderful surprise. It's clean and quiet and I think someone was even doing a little video in the corner one time, looks that nice. 5 stars.

So so good! Super fresh, great portion size, well priced and excellent combinations. I didn't realize that they have a bunch of places in the Bay Area and are pretty new to Southern California. I would love for them to put one up in Long Beach! Highly recommend for great salads!

The salads here are so fresh and I love that they'll customize things for you too. They did seem a little short staffed because there were a number of tables with empty dishes, but the 2 people there were super friendly and helpful.
