"LBC residents can now head to Mixx Kitchen for casual Asian-inspired fare paired with refreshing milk and fruit teas. There’s small plates of tofu fritters and pork belly tots for snacking, or full-sized hot pots along with rice and noodle dishes for a heartier affair." - Cathy Chaplin

Mixx Kitchen is exactly what Bixby Knolls has been missing. We picked up the Garlic Shrimp & HK Street Chow Fun with a side of Crispy Tofu Fritters. The place was fairly busy - there were about 7 or 8 other small groups eating - but the main dishes were quick to be delivered to the table. The tofu fritters took a few more minutes, but the wait staff assured us they had not forgotten and they arrived soon after. The restaurant itself was modern, clean, and very new looking (as it should be; it is on the same lot as the old Nino's Restaurant building which has since been knocked down and rebuilt). They also added a small parking lot to the back of the property, off Roosevelt, which even has a couple of electric vehicle charging stations. Looking forward to bringing the family and trying the Hotpot next time!

I got the shrimp with lemon grass I belive it was a bit to much lemon grass for my taste but I still ate it all. We got appetizers some wings and calamari they the wings were decent. On the way out I had ordered a black milk tea with Boba, I only got a black tea with Boba but the gentleman behind the counter was nice and let me keep it and still gave me another with the milk in it.

Great addition to the long Beach area. Not quite as good as boiling point, but seeing that lbc completely lacks quality Asian restaurants, mixx is a valuable add. I would recommend trying the hot pot and not just sticking to the usual "to go" type Asian dishes.

Love this is place! Their Pad Thai is unique, spicy, and super yum. I love their garlic shrimp dinner, so savory and full of flavor. Their boba drinks are fantastic and their Ginger Berry tea is my favorite! Excellent food and excellent service.

Friendly and helpful service, large portions quickly prepared and something for everyone. I went with my sister's family last Sunday and we tried many of the dishes. Standouts are Bacon Fried Rice, Sweet Sesame Beef and the Spicy Beef Hot Pot. Deep umami flavor on all the dishes. We're glad they had environmentally conscious to-go containers as we needed them. Big plus for the eco-straws on the drinks. Kevin was an awesome host and guide to the menu choices. Thanks dude!

Sweet chili chicken wings are off the hook! Worth a visit just for those! Also had the chow fun which was tasty but nothing extraordinary. The fruit tea was a little too sweet for my liking but I think this place still deserves 5 stars. I’ll be coming back. Everything else on the menu looks very tasty.

Food choices are Asian fusion. Some dishes are a little overpriced, but the majority are a good value and are prepared well and are delicious. The service can seem weird as they bring out the dishes as each are completed, so plan to eat family style as that works out very well with everyone sharing the fresh and hot items as they arrive. A very nice addition to a relatively crowded field of asian based restaurants in Bixby Knolls.

I am still trying to find an entree I don't absolutely love! Just had the Spicy Beef Hot Pot. The flavors, the quality of the ingredients, and the portion; just out of this world! Since Quarantine I've been coming here 2x per week. Treat yourself to an incredible world of flavors!
