Five Months After the Eaton Fire, Altadena Restaurants Are Finally Reopening | Eater LA

"A home-style Thai restaurant that became a local favorite after opening in 2023 and eventually reopened on May 27. Initially started as a to-go window, its weekly menu was always handwritten on butcher paper, offering diners a taste of Thai home cooking from a loving staff; as popularity grew, the dining room expanded to serve both lunch and dinner. The owner, David Tewasart, weighed the emotional and safety concerns of reopening in a neighborhood still processing communal loss before deciding to reopen." - Sharon Brenner

The Best Tools for Making Matcha at Home | Eater

"A Japanese homegoods store offering Japanese-made, traditional matcha bowls (simple, deep bowls around five inches in diameter) for preparation and serving; shoppers who prefer to pour matcha into cups or lattes can also find bowls with a pour lip for easier pouring." - Monica Burton

Ordered a set of 4 of the Aramami bowls- one of them broke unexpectedly- never had any issues with any of the other pottery we have purchased from them- contacted them about the issue and they were extremely kind and generous and replaced the defective bowl. Wonderful company, beautiful products of the highest quality, and amazing customer service. We have and will contiue to purchase as much as our cabinets will allow- can’t speak more highly about the product and company!

Quality products, fast shipping, and great service! I recently placed an order on Miya’s website and it arrived within 2 days! One of the plates had broken while shipping, and a representative responded promptly and shipped out a free replacement the same day. They have a great selection on their site and I would definitely make purchases again. Highly recommend!

They have the most beautiful bowls and an incredibly responsive customer service department. We are so pleased with our order - and I expect everything they sell is of high quality.
