"If you just voted at the Tukwila Community Center, we suggest driving a couple of extra miles to pick up an order from Miyabi. They serve some of the best Japanese food in the area, from izakaya appetizers to specialty sushi rolls." - aimee rizzo

"Miyabi is a very fun place to eat sushi outside of Seattle. It’s located in a strip mall, but once you find it, you’ll be rewarded with a big communal table, two-top dividers that look like giant paper fans, and some of the tastiest fish in the area. Both the nigiri options as well as specialty rolls are great, and even though it doesn’t sound that good, we really like the vegetable sushi that’s rolled with soy paper. Use this place as an escape after shopping at Southcenter Mall." - Aimee Rizzo

This restaurant had fabulous sashimi, sushi, and tempura! I am incredibly excited to return and already crave having another bite. Everything is so delectably fresh and unbelievably flavorful. It’ll be an immensely difficult experience to top. I don’t think it can get much more authentic than this!

Food was decent. One of the fishes in the rainbow roll had a fishy taste and the afternoon rush caused the server to forget 1 out of the 5 of the dishes we ordered. It’s not a big deal but it didn’t make it a great experience either.

My friend and I both got the deluxe chirashi bowl which was $35 and definitely worth it! Quality of sashimi was fresh and delicious. I’d return for this again. Staff is super friendly and attentive. One of my favorite sushi spots!

Came here because our kid was craving Asian food 🍱 The sushi rolls were fresh (loved the Mt. Rainier Roll and Dragon Roll). Great spot for a family meal!

My first time for dinner. The staff were friendly and attentive and I was blown away by the bento set and sushi. Truly exceptional, in my humble opinion. This place is a gem.

I ordered the bento box with spicy tuna roll. All items were delicious. The spaghetti Mac salad is a twist on regular Hawaiian Mac salad, unique and yummy 😋. The lychee sake is a must. Will definitely try this place again when I am in the area.

Food was great. Ordered the eel. It was perfectly cooked. Service was rushed. Felt like they wanted me to hurry.

Totally legit … absolutely delicious. James, the Chef, was so on point with the little details that make for a great experience and meal. The fish and rice were prepared perfectly (and I don’t use that term often). The selection of non-traditional fish was excellent and the hand rolls were well balanced and not soggy. They even had all the ingredients to make an authentic futomaki. This place is definitely worth a trip much less a stop…. You won’t be disappointed.

Yelp
Wow, probably one of the BEST Japanese restaurants here in Seattle! My parents and I were trying to find a place close to the airport. When we couldn't eat at Marugame due to us being late and then closing at 9, Miyabi was opened until 9:30pm. Definitely a restaurant you'd want to show up early for as it can get crowded shortly and from the looks of it, they have a medium sized restaurant. Their menu is a wide variety and is physically wide and big, one of the best menus I've ever seen and a menu that is nicely laid out!!! We had 2 rolls, the spider and miyabi! Both my parents had udon soups and I had the Seattle Nabe (Japanese hotpot). We loved our main entrees SO MUCH! Our server was so nice and next time, I'll try their dessert and other items! Definitely planning to be back in the near future. This amazing establishment won one of the best restaurant WA awards last year so we were in for a treat! And not only that, they've celebrated 19 years so they gave us a free tote bag! Congratulations Miyabi! Keep doing what you're doing!

Yelp
The staff was really nice and were very enthusiastic with service. There were times where it took a little bit to find our waitress but overall a quality experience. We enjoyed seeing the different people there and the fish was very fresh as well with no fishy smell and taste! I enjoyed the layout of the restaurant as well with different decor highlighting the Washington area!

Yelp
The parking lots is very big with many different places as well. They do not take reservations. This place can get busy so definitely try to get there early to put your name down. We arrive around 6pm and didn't get seated until 6:30. The restaurant has quite a bit of seating with seating at the sushi bar but is a smaller place. It looks very clean and organized. The service is a little slower than usually as there isn't enough servers for how many people there are. We ordered drinks and it took 10 mins to get them but the food was so good! We ordered the bento boxes which has great options with decent pricing. I also ordered a spider sushi roll. Which was soft shell crab with avocado and cucumber. It looked so good when it came i instantly took a bite and forgot to take a photo lol. I definitely recommend coming here for good Japanese food and sushi rolls. I will Be back again. Just don't go when you are starving had there is usually a wait time and service is a little slower.

Yelp
Really want to love this place but service was not great. We sat down for Saturday dinner. Busy and welcoming. It's our first time here and have question in the menu but the server knows nth about the menu. Asked about the oysters, she doesn't know. Asked about the rolls that says raw and asked which part of this roll is raw, she doesn't know, maybe this is raw or maybe that. Not helpful at all and just stare at us. Food was ok and nothing that stands out.

Yelp
We were looking for sushi close to the airport and found this place on Yelp. Definitely a good find. We weren't expecting so much variety. We ended up sharing edamame while we waited for our rolls. Since I was in town to go hiking, I couldn't pass out the Mount Rainierroll. They make the crab look like a mountain. It's super cute. It is also delicious. The tuna was perfect in the roll. The serving is pretty big and it fill you up. They do have cocktails, but it seems that all of them were sweet, so I opted for wine. My friend has the lychee saketini. I tasted it and it wasn't as sweet as I expected. It was actually a little tart, but in a good way. Parking is available on site, but shared with the other businesses. Our waitress was very friendly. Food came out quickly.

Yvonne D.

Yelp
One of the better Japanese restaurants in town. It's a convenient location on the way to or from the airport so we like to take visitors too. The restaurant itself is small so if you are dining in during peak lunch and dinner hours there will be a wait (no reservations). Take out is only available on their website (no cal in, no ubereats). Their fish is fresh, rolls are fun, and lots of cooked/vegetarian options too.

Yelp
When people think of Japanese food they often don't know anything beyond sushi and ramen. I'm grateful for restaurants like Miyabi and Onibaba in the greater Seattle area that often has comfort options that my grandma or mom would make. A couple of years ago I was with a friend just after the new year and discovered Miyabi's is open New Years Day. It's usually very difficult to find a Japanese restaurant open on new years day as it is usually celebrated big for Japanese they eat Oshogatsu at home with family and friends. Most other Asian cultures celebrate Lunar New Year so it's usually easier to find other types of Asian restaurants open. This past new year my dad, sister, brother in law and I went for lunch on New Year's day we used to help my mom make a feast for family and friends but since she passed it has been harder. Was such a nice meal we went right when they opened. They had an Oshogatsu appetizer which we ordered to start the new year off with some good luck items. The kazunoko was a pleasant surprise. That day my sister and I both ordered something we hadn't had on the menu. i had the Nabeyaki udon and my sister order the Seattle Nabe off the Izakaya menu. We liked the Seattle Nabe so much we both ordered it yesterday when we went to an early dinner with my dad. It is full of vegetables, chicken, salmon, scallops and shrimp on a clear broth comes out piping hot. I liked it as it is lighter than the Nabeyaki udon there are skme Noodles but very little and not udon noodles but Harusame a gluten free noodle. Broth is deep with flavor but clean. They were packed on a Sunday at 5:30pm which was great to see were able to grab a table before the big rush came. They have a sushi bar but I noticed most people sat at tables. Service is always friendly and tea and water is always filled. You can tell they do lots of take out as well but it doesn't seem to affect the flow of those dining in which is impressive. Definitely a favorite of our family when we are looking for good Japanese food in the South end.

Yelp
Took a group of customers out for lunch here. Super friendly staff seated us right away. We ordered miso soup, seaweed salad and edamame to start off and please with all. Then onto a few sushi rolls. The Godzilla roll had a good flavor and a bit different than some, would recommend. The tuna and salmon rolls were equally as good with generous sizes as well. Our fourth got spicy teriyaki chicken and said it was good but not that spicy. That is all relative in my opinion. Try it out. Will go back next time I am in the area.

Stephanie L.

Yelp
Seeing all these highly rated reviews is making me wonder if I had just come on an off day. I was in the area with some friends and we decided to stop in here for lunch - for a party of 6, we had to wait around 30 mins to be seated around 1:30pm. They definitely have a lot of variety on the menu here, but we were pretty surprised at the prices - most of the stuff was around $25-30. We ended up ordering a bunch of rolls as that was more cost effective. I don't remember the names of all the rolls which we got, but everything tasted fine. For the price, I wish they either had a bigger portion or had more flavor in the rolls. It kind of just fell flat for me on both ends. Service was friendly and interior was nicely decorated. However the menu prices left me longing for something a bit more special than what we got.

Yelp
Always stop and dine at Miyabi when I am in Seattle. Their Japanese food is authentic and perfect. Service is friendly and prompt. Love their beef sukiyaki. High quality beef and generous. Cooked to perfection with fresh cubes of tofu , Napa cabbage , long rice noodles, mushrooms, onions, and bamboo shoots. Not too sweet and not too salty just right. Sushi is generous and delicious . Free parking in front. Consistent and never leave hungry. Simple and delicious.

Yelp
A popular & packed sushi restaurant even on a weekday! If you enjoy a sampling of Japanese food, go for the bento box. Tasty food & great value! You choose 2 items from the list. We had the spicy tuna roll with Chicken tonkatsu and tempera bento box & chicken kaarage and sushi box. The salmon was cooked to perfection without tasting dry. The chicken was moist & tender. I saw other tables who ordered specialty rolls that also looked yummy. The prices were reasonable. Food: 5+ out of 5 - everything was fresh from the garnishes to the spicy tuna roll. Everyone enjoyed their tasty bento boxes. Good value with ample portions of fresh food. If you have room for dessert, you must try their green tea tiramisu- not too sweet and packed of flavor Service: 5/5 - attentive servers who often topped off our tea. Food arrived in a timely manner Ambiance- 5/5 - nice atmosphere with beautiful decor. The colorful lamps added a nice touch to the place. Parking: 5/5 - free parking available in the shopping area

Yelp
Awesome spot! Cool typography too, the menu covers look pretty clean. Highly recommend if you're around Southcenter. This sushi is the real deal, though the prices feel a tad bit higher than other places even compared to Seattle. High quality fresh fish, tasty combinations, and ultimately delicious. Every single roll sounds amazing so bring lots of friends and share. Takoyaki - comes with 5. Solid but there are better out there. Okinawa Breeze - it's a green AMF. Strong alcohol, arguably the taste is not any different than an AMF which checks out because it contains the same vodka, gin, rum, and tequila. However, instead of sour mix, it's specifically orange juice. Sashimi Bento - bentos are a great variety as well as being balanced. Sashimi consists of about 6 decent slices of fish. I prefer this bento over the sushi bento for taste and value. Snagged chicken karaage and tempura gyoza with this one. Tempura gyoza was new to me and introduced a fun, unique texture. Karaage was solid. Sushi Bento - the sushi bento comes with four pieces nigiri and two California rolls. It's a nice way to satisfy sushi cravings, but honestly might leave you desiring more. Chicken katsu and salmon shio here. Chicken was not dry, thankfully, and the salmon was tender, though a bit drenched in sauce. Mt. Rainier - the biggest thing about this roll is the aesthetics. The "mountain" almost looks like a sando. Thick slice of tuna is nested in the sando part. If you like tuna, this is a hefty roll for you. Blazing Godzilla - the blazing part refers to the heat of this roll. Not super spicy, but it's present compared to others. This is another tuna based roll, but with some unagi. There's a lot going on here, so it's a blast of flavor which can take away from the fish part of sushi but still delight your tastebuds. Super Nitro Roll - another tuna heavy roll as there's spicy tuna on the inside and out. But in addition, there's shrimp tempura as a texture changer. Tempura flakes also surround the exterior. This is a roll you order mainly for the texture, though it is still tasty. Baked Scallop Roll - this roll is baked which means it'll take a little longer, but the scallop is fantastic. Super creamy and warm, this one is sure to heat you up internally and comfort you. Big fan of this. Southcenter Roll - a variety of fish make up this roll and while there are multiple sauces present, the fish are still strong. Tuna, albacore, and salmon make this roll fatty, yet fishy, for lack of a better word. If you like fish, obviously opt for a roll with three like this. Go Storm Roll - another scallop roll which is phenomenal. Creamy yet again but enhanced by the avocado further. Soy paper wrapping is a light addition with a soft texture containing all the creamy goodness. Not baked so there's less wait but more of a traditional roll served room temperature compared to the baked one.

Yelp
Standard small sushi spot with a tiki feel. It was busy during weekday lunch. The thing that stood was that the waitress was just so nice to us and everyone.

Krissm A.

Yelp
Wifey been craving sushi and we haven't pull up to this place before. We entered and host said only available seats were the bar, we asked for a table and he said it will be around 15-20mins. Cool so we left. Literally 5mins later he text the tables ready. We were immediately seated and served. We ordered the chicken kaarage which was super delicious and fresh. (Couldn't get enough) we also ordered the Sashimi plate which consist of 12pcs of assorted fish. The tuna was a little discolored but overall tasted good. It comes with a side of rice. We ordered the southcenter roll which was also yummy. Our waters weren't filled once emptied and staff was a little busy. That's why for the bump on the stars. Other than that great food. Parking is all over the area (so you won't have trouble with it) bathrooms are super clean. They have a bidet also (reminds me of Japan style bathrooms)

Stella B.

Yelp
This place is always crowded even at lunch hour. But service is always excellent whenever I eat here. So i dont mind waiting at all. :) Food was always fresh and tasty. Lots of options for you to choose.

Jen F.

Yelp
The food itself gets 5 stars! We got the Blazing Godzilla and Super Nitro Roll (we were craving spicy) both were DELICIOUS. Also got edamame and the chicken katsu appetizer, and finished with the mocha mousse cake. Again, 5 stars for the food. The restaurant is busy and LOUD. Pretty cramped, too. You'll be sitting very close to strangers, fyi. The staff are SO SWEET, but slammed. I wanted Tamari rather than soy and no one came back to check on us so I finally just ate my sushi with soy and had no more tea to drink with my meal. For 2 rolls, 2 small apps and 1 dessert it was just under $100 after tip. Restaurant is clean, decorated cute and more high-end vs hole-in-the-wall.

Eva M.

Yelp
Miyabi was the first restaurant I ate at while in the area for a job interview. Decades later, the restaurant is still standing strong with a loyal customer base in a full house. While not all dishes were winners, enough are. While I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat there, if we are in the area, it's a reliable restaurant to have a meal. The deco is appropriately Japanese. The service is swift, mid-end hurried style. Not a high-end date place. It's at a strip mall with plenty of parking. The Food: Seafood Jumbo roll, $21 - 5 Stars Menu: Tuna, salmon, albacore, shrimp, crab salad, scallop, yellowtail, shiso, avocado and tobiko They are not kidding when they named this seafood jumbo. It has loads of seafood! A definite winner. Salmon Sunrise roll, $19 - 5 Stars Menu: Avocado, Spicy crab salad topped with seared salmon, honey mustard sauce and tobiko With the seared salmon on top, this is also a flavorful winner. Black Cod Kama, $18 - 5 Stars This black cod collar is a less common menu item, and it was excellent - perfectly seasoned and grilled. Most restaurants only offer hamachi and salmon kama. Sashimi Appetizer, $21 - 3.5 Stars The fish options are expectedly ordinary and normal. The pieces are pleasantly thick and good sized. The salmon is however sadly flavorless. I have no clue what type of salmon was served. Uni Shooter, $14 - 0 Stars I came close to sending this back the second it was placed on our table. DROWNING in ponzu, the uni is hidden, wasted, and unrecognizable. It looks nothing than the menu photo. Half the ponzu is more than sufficient, and the uni needs to be bigger. The way they made this uni is wasting the uni. Kaki Fry (Fried Oysters), $13 - 1 Star I wanted the baked oysters, which would require oysters on the half shell, but they are out. :( Got these instead. It's pretty obvious these are from a jar, and they tasted "aged". Again, I was tempted to send these back, too. Served with tartar sauce, it is rather old fashion. If they had spicy aioli instead, the spiciness may have masked the staleness somewhat. (Rolling eyes) Salmon nigiri - 0 Stars. Hamachi nigiri - 2 Stars. $10 each For the price, the fish pieces are disappointingly thin compared to the sashimi. This salmon was also tasteless. Waste of money.

Wendy S.

Yelp
Great variety of sushi. Generous portions and friendly service. Very fresh. My friends had the sushi plate. Lots of great options. And the Sake was good too.

Brian K.

Yelp
Great sushi. This is where the locals go. Nothing crazy, don't need crazy because it's awesome. No special pricing or happy hours. Again, they don't need it because they are the best sushi in town. Clean, friendly, quick, fair prices.

Nami N.

Yelp
Came to dinner at the Miyabi with total 4 people. We ordered dinner bento (chose miso mackerel and tempura). It was ok. I didn't like saba miso taste and salad but tempura was good. seafood fry. It was just the right amount for two people. Mt Rainier and seafood Jumbo were yummy. Always good service and nice atmosphere here.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Came here on the weekend and there was a wait if you wanted a table. We were lucky we got the sushi counter where we watched the chefs make all the sushi. The place can get pretty loud. I ordered Motsuni which is like a intestine soup. It was a lot of vegetables and salt. I wasn't too big of a fan. I also ordered one order of flounder nigiri and that was delicious. The fish was really fresh and texture was not slimy at all. We also ordered the Happy Ahi roll and the California roll. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the roll. The ahi was seasoned perfectly where it didn't drown out the flavor of the fish. I would definitely come back for sushi and stick to sushi.

Ann L.

Yelp
3.5- Came here for brother's birthday. Lucky the wait wasn't so bad for big group. Food started to come out except for the last 2 order which was tempura soba and salmon roll. Not sure why it took a so long as the rest of us almost finish eating (maybe lost order). We had to keep asking a few times and finally got all the orders. Food was decent since there's not much Japanese food in the area, but pricing definitely on a little higher end so probably won't be back anytime soon.

Yan L.

Yelp
Starting with the menu; it's a lot going on and almost overwhelming. Beautiful assortment pieces but wasn't impressed with flavors.. super disappointed. I came because the reviews were good. The rolls are better than the sushi and nigiri pieces. The sashimi was bland and I had a stomachache 90% of the way done with my food. Def go for the white tiger roll and the other rolls if going here. The service was good and the servers keeps coming to refill drinks. The food came out pretty quick and no complaints there. We were seated relatively quick. It's been about a hour and again I'm getting another stomachache !!

Jonathan T.

Yelp
Went here during a layover for food and had sushi that melts in your mouth just amazing. The cold sake was like water and the sushi to die for. The service was really nice and help explain what what was and it was the most chill ambiance.

Nicole W.

Yelp
The food, especially the sashimi was delicious. The service was wonderful. The ambiance is a Japanese cuisine.

Diane T.

Yelp
Came during Sunday 6ish - there was a 30 min wait but they text you when a table is ready. We went to visit the book store next door while we waited. Sushi bar seating was faster than table seating. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. But it is on the pricier side. $10 for 2 piece basic Tuna Nigiri and $75 for nigiri Omakase which is kind of high for a casual sushi restaurant. We ordered Takoyaki and that didn't come until after we were done with both of our rolls.

Ben M.

Yelp
Phenomenal sushi and a friendly staff. The service was quick and the food was prepared right in front of me at the counter. Definitely will be back

Kevin M.

Yelp
Stopped in here with my work team, for a group lunch. From the moment we walked in, and the very friendly greeting we received, all aspects of dining here were top-notch. Our server was at our table, almost immediately, offering water, hot tea, or any other beverage we might like. We started with the chicken Karage, basically a really tasty fried chicken appetizer. It disappeared very quickly. We all ordered something different, from the Chirashi bowl, Nigiri Lunch to the Dragon Roll. Thank you for making this a great experience. We will definitely be back in the very near future to partake again.

Ruby L.

Yelp
The best authentic Japanese food. It's what you'd eat in most Japanese homes. It has excellent food, service and ambiance.

anne b.

Yelp
Service was great and sushi was fresh and nicely presented. Super salmon roll was the favorite roll as well as the Crunch California. My daughter really enjoyed her Salmon Nigiri and my other daughter loved the kids Bullet Bento, especially the creamy noodle salad! Good sushi is expensive and this spot fits the bill!

Dodie S.

Yelp
We were in the area, and this was our first time here. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We didn't have to wait very long being we went early to beat the crowd. The restaurant was clean, and the service was great. They do not take reservations, and it's first come first serve. This was a good find and will return when in the area again.

Edna D.

Yelp
Miyabi is an excellent Japanese restaurant in the area. It is a small place and can be packed quickly. We waited about 25 minutes to be seated for a party of 9. We went here when my sister's family came from Australia and we are all impressed with the freshness of the sushi and great variety to choose from. The presentation was beautiful, the staff was friendly and professional. The sake marinated black cod Kama is delicious! Highly recommend this place!

Teressa B.

Yelp
Great attentive staff! The atmosphere felt like a normal sushi spot with a sushi bar. Food was good! Tons of it and the noodles in the bento box were delicious. Great portions.

Nini M.

Yelp
So goooood!!!! It's a bit pricey but everything was so fresh. The omakase comes with 13 pieces and everything was bomb. The salmon sunrise is a must!!! Ambiance is nice and clean. I would def make reservations because they get very busy. Service was great, everyone tended to us and not just our main server. You get a free miso soup when you follow them on Instagram!

Kyle W.

Yelp
My friend and I went here for a Thursday dinner around 7:30pm and it was still super packed. We were quoted a 30min wait but ended up getting seated closer to the 15 min mark. This place seems to have a lot of sports stuff, and some of the food dishes are named after sports teams like the Kraken, Mariners, or Seahawks, for instance. We tried the Hirame Usuzukuri for appetizer, and the Mt. Rainier and Salmon Sunrise for the entrees. I got a hot house sake small for the drink. The Hirame Usuzukuri is thinly sliced flounder, served in ponzu. This appetizer is skippable as the fish is just okay and they charge $28 for a dish that is quite small in portion relative to other items on the menu. The Mt. Rainier seems to be a crowd favorite. The portions of the roll are fairly large, with 2 gigantic pieces to resemble one mountain and another load of crab salad to resemble a mountain range. I think this is pretty cool. The deep fried factor kind of ruined the dish a little bit, as the batter was not crispy at all, but I enjoyed the freshness of the tuna within. The Salmon Sunrise is also very good. The seared salmon is super fresh and flavorful, and inside is some spicy crab salad. You can't really go wrong with either roll. While I liked the creativity and aesthetics of Mt. Rainier roll, the Salmon Sunrise tasted better. Both rolls are definitely above average in quality relative to other places. Service is quite energetic. The waitress seems very happy about the job so the vibe is great. However, there were obvious flaws to the experience as my friend's hot tea was nowhere to be found until we had to remind them, and they never gave us small plates to eat the sushi rolls - we had to eat it out of the super tiny soy sauce plate until we proactively asked. This at bare minimum is not too acceptable for a restaurant at this price point. Regardless, the food here is great, though it can be a toss up of if I want to return as the place is always super jam-packed busy and wait times can be a lot worse if I go on the weekend when I am usually free.

Amy Z.

Yelp
We were very impressed with this spot! No wonder it was participating in the best of PNW! The crab croquette literally tasted like clam chowder, super interesting. The sushi was amazing, super fresh and flavorful. Loved the huge chunks of salmon. The udon was super flavorful, wished it was larger cause it was that good! Highly recommend this spot! There is a huge parking lot so no worries even during peak times. The interior was a tad on the small side but loved the decorations. The staff were super friendly. We waited probably ~15 mins around 7pm.

Wennie H.

Yelp
Miyabi is just always a really solid option when you want good sushi in the area. It's fresh, prices are fair for the quality, service is always super friendly. They get super busy, so it gets a little loud but not so loud you can't hold a conversation or hear the person you are with. Everything at Miyabi is good, you can't really go wrong with anything you order. Sometimes it takes a little bit to get your food but it really depends. I love the Miyabi roll and negihama, those two are probably staples for me. Super fresh, super del

Marie C.

Yelp
Nice little Japanese restaurant in Tukwila! They have sushi, bento boxes, & udon! Their bento boxes come with soup and salad. You can also add on sashimi or sushi for an extra cost. Service is fast with ordering the food.

Michael X.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for Japanese restaurants as I love Japanese cuisine! Miyabi has been on my list for a while since it looks to be a very highly rated restaurant in terms of quantity of and quality of reviews, so we decided to check it out! We went on a Saturday around 12pm and were seated promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice! There are plenty of decorations throughout the restaurant that give off the feeling that you're in Japan. At the time when we went, there was a physical menu and a QR code on the table. Though they are two different menus (one for weekday and one for weekend), ordering is done through the physical one. Service is relatively fast and we were able to receive our food in 10 minutes after ordering. I got the Bento Box with Karaage and Miso Saba option, which looked like the best option to try the most variety of food that Miyabi has to offer. This bento box was is presented well, with various options and presentation laid out so you can sample everything together. First things first, I would say the pasta salad and actual salad options were really underwhelming - the salad was just some chopped iceberg lettuce and roughly chopped tomatoes with sesame dressing. These are both two things that you can buy from the local grocery store for less than $5, which means the rest of the bento box should be worth $25 (the bento is $27 before tax and tip), which it was not. The saba had good flavor and was tender, but be wary of bones throughout the fish. The karaage had heavier breading in comparison of karaage I had from other similar establishments. Overall, this bento box was a disappointing experience for the price. In the end, I spent about ~$30 on this entree, which is steep in my opinion for the quantity and quality of food received. Though the presentation was nice, I would say it was more style over substance for me. It was good to check out Miyabi and see if it was worth the drive down south, I'm not sure if I would come back and try the other options.

Yelp
Good ol' place for absolutely delicious food. Been around for years yet the food remains better than ever. I ate my favorite dish, sukiyaki beef. So so good. What are you waiting for. Go there for yummy food.

Yelp
My routine visitation place every time I come to Seattle. This is one of the few places from anywhere that food, service, ambience and the price are spot on match. It is very hard for me to put five stars but here we are. Service is fast so even though the quality is there, tables turning around is quite fast so it makes you feel worth to wait. We got shut down within 10 minutes although the waiting time was 30 to 40 minutes. Quickly greeted, served and good things that they always come back to our table every 15 minutes. $70 sushi Omakase and $90 sashimi Omakase, quality, volume, taste, and presentation are matched.

Yelp
My sisters and I ate here for our last meal together, we got our main dishes at different times during dinner but everything we ate was really good. We came on Sunday night around 6:20 and there was a 35 min wait which wasn't bad since the place was packed. We ordered a few apps and rolls, everything we ate was delicious but my favorite was the Salmon Sunrise and the Toro nigiri seared. I would come here again 100%

Yelp
We discovered Miyabi on flight layover a decade ago. So glad we found it again. Food is excellent and service is fast.

Yelp
This is a good sushi restaurant, located near the Southcenter Mall. They have a good variety of sushi and provide good service.

Yelp
Had lunch here around past 1PM on a weekend. We were seated immediately and offered water while waiting for our orders. Our server was nice and attentive. We had miyabi salad, takoyaki, sashimi+bento (beef yakiniku+tonkatsu), and kid's bento. Everything was good and my kids said it was one of the best meals they've had (since we moved here to PNW) so far. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is good for families.

Yelp
Phenomenal! The place was loud but that's because every table was full. Servers are kind and prompt. Sushi was well cut, well rolled, and well flavored. I wish there was a place this delicious where we're from but it seems there is not. People at the neighboring table said they drove almost an hour to get here and I don't blame them!

Yelp
Amazing sushi! No need for big fancy expensive restaurants, Miyabi has great rolls, service and food!

Yelp
Ordered small udon for $5. Had about two bites of noodles and soup was a bit sour. And Oyakodon was bland.again very small portions.... No green onions. Asked server for side of ginger, he replied, "we don't have any... I wish we did"... first Japanese restaurant in my life time that didn't have ginger...wtf!

Yelp
Food is good price is right . But every time my wife and I come here we always get the smallest table they get where our food barely fits where the server Maki had clear things to make space. Had couple open tables that sat 4 that was available unless they do reservations.
