20 Exceptional Restaurants in Bend, Oregon

"Named for the Karate Kid master, this Industrial Way restaurant is as stylish as it is exceptional. Local artist Richard Yozamp provided the expansive art piece that gives the small restaurant a hip feel, and a garage-door window wall rises to open up the space on nice days. Miyagi offers a choice of three ramen, including a smoked shiitake-cashew-based soup; pea shoots, spicy tofu, pickled shiitake, and more create a mesh of umami, salty, sour, and sweet. Meat eaters can add a soft egg and chashu pork belly for protein and richness. Those that aren’t up for soup can choose from yakitori skewers, rice bowls, and fat, stuffed steam buns." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

Miyagi is a great little shop for anyone who wants Ramen, while maybe wanting a little more of Japanese fare. Service is prompt and quick, but they won't exactly wait on you hand and foot, but they let you know what to do with your bowls/sticks when done eating (which is a huge plus considering almost every restaurant these days does a mix of *fast-casual* and you guess if you need to bus your own or not). The ambiance gives me the vibe of being in a corner shop to get quick food and go, it will be slightly messy but taste phenomenal and quickly come out. This spot also has very friendly staff.

Plant based Smoked Hazelnut Mushroom Ramen was so flavorful. I’d had some random vegan ramen other places that left me wondering what the fuss was about ramen. Very rich, thick broth, tangy roasted(?) tomato slices, spiced up tofu, fresh bok choi and bean sprouts and teensy mushrooms packed a punch. Filling and delicious. Spouse had the spicy miso. I was worried he would be disappointed, but instead he talked about it the whole walk back to our hotel.

Really yummy gluten free fried rice. Different and tasty! Also tried the kids ramen for the littles and they ate it up!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Miyagi Ramen – Bend, OR This was my first time having spicy miso ramen—and I am a changed man. I’ve never been one to pay people for soup. Throw some stuff in a pot, heat it up, hand it off. That’s soup. Even with my limited kitchen skills, I get the basic concept. So when my wife—who is vegan—wanted ramen late one evening, I figured we’d make do with whatever was still open. Enter Miyagi Ramen. I didn’t expect much. I’d had miso soup before and always thought it was a sad little puddle of saltwater with tofu cubes pretending to be food. But what happened here? I can only assume some Mary Poppins-type wizard floated through the kitchen, throwing spices like confetti, because this was a transformation. The spicy miso ramen with pork belly didn’t just taste good—it tasted enchanted. The broth was rich, spicy, and comforting in a way that made me feel like I’d been spiritually hugged. I swear I saw tiny animated dragons dancing around the edges of my vision with every bite. And for my wife? She went with the vegan smoked shiitake-cashew ramen, and even she was impressed—which, trust me, is rare. The depth of flavor, the smoky mushrooms, the care in the ingredients—it wasn’t an afterthought like most vegan menu items. It was crafted. The space is clean and modern with a relaxed, local vibe. You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring the bowls out to you—quickly, and with care. It’s efficient without feeling rushed. I didn’t take any pictures because I was hunched over my bowl like a goblin trying not to splash soup everywhere. This meal brought out the golden retriever in me—and golden retrievers don’t know how to operate phones. Go see for yourself. Go taste for yourself. 👍 Highlights Spicy miso broth that will haunt your dreams (in the best way) Surprisingly excellent vegan option—crafted, not compromised Warm, modern space with fast, attentive service Possibly magic involved in food preparation 👎 What could improve The pork belly could have used a bit more volume You may develop a deep emotional attachment to soup Bottom line: If you're the kind of person who thinks soup can't change your life, Miyagi Ramen would like a word. Go. Eat. Watch for dragons

Brah.. Let me hit you with a question… Have you ever walked into a spot… and instantly felt happier and hungrier than you were five seconds ago…? That’s Miagi in Bend… This place is a vibe… The flavors? Insane… every bite hits you with layers you didn’t see coming… The staff? Legends… fast… friendly… and somehow always know exactly what you’ll love next… And the space… cozy… stylish… with that perfect Bend energy that makes you want to linger and keep cruzing… There’s a good reason there’s always a line outside If you’re in Bend… and want to taste something epic… Go to Miagi… trust me… 🤙🏽

MUST try in Bend. Ordered the Tonkutsu Ramen and Pork Bun. Both were surprisingly good. The noodles were perfect. Everything tasted fresh. Loved the generously thick perfectly cooked pork slices. Flavor was incredible. Reasonably priced. Service was very good. Overall, had a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.

The atmosphere was great, the mural inside is beautiful. The Ramen had so much flavor. We also ordered the sweet soy skirt steak as an appetizer, and those were absolutely amazing.

Google
This place is overrated! The pork belly is extremely overcooked and the egg is not soft boiled like traditional ramen. I am highly disappointed with my experience.

Yelp
This is a combined review based on several visits to Miyagi Ramen in Bend, Oregon. My most recent visit was on Friday, July 10, 2025. Each visit has been consistently enjoyable, always during a weekday lunch and typically with one other person. The space is open and airy, with the option for outdoor seating. The restaurant is clean, well maintained, and the staff has always been friendly, professional, and polite. It's usually easy to get a seat. On occasion, it can get busy, but I've never had trouble finding a comfortable place to sit with just a little flexibility. The ordering system is straightforward. You place your order at the counter, take a number, and your food is brought to the table. There's a convenient water station with small metal pitchers, cups, utensils, hot sauce, soy sauce, and more. Fountain drinks are available for self-serve as well. Food consistently arrives promptly and is freshly prepared from quality ingredients. I almost always get the Spicy Miso Ramen, which has a satisfying kick without being overwhelming. It's flavorful and reliably good. Today I tried something new: the Miyagi Don rice bowl with chicken karaage and spicy mayo. It delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The chicken was ultra-crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. This is a go-to spot for a quick, delicious lunch in a comfortable setting with great service. My only minor complaint (not the case today) is that the music at lunch can sometimes be overly loud. Since lunch is often a time for conversation, I've never quite understood that choice. Still, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miyagi Ramen to others.

Yelp
So far, this is my favorite place for ramen! I always order the spicy riso with pork belly and a side of chicken karaage--it's good but not comparable to other places I've been to outside of Bend. The space is pretty small with limited seating, so it's a good idea to plan ahead, especially on weekends when there's often a line outside. If you're craving ramen, it's worth a try.

Yelp
Mmmm, the right comfort food for tired doggy. Great little space that makes it easy to enjoy some good ramen and steam buns. For one exhausted traveler who couldn't dream of a loud place or having to politely sit thru table service, Miyagi Ramen was the right place and right time and right across the street from the Spring Hill Suites (note: a new, nice amenities and great value for money hotel in a town that needs a place like this). The buns were a better surprise than the Tonkotsu, the latter of which was what I ordered. Standard fare with what you'd expect ingredient and taste-wise. The buns are big, and a great app to share (I shared the second one with my feelings). Come around and enjoy this great little place.

Yelp
Our lunch adventures brought us to Miyagi Ramen. It doesn't get good reviews on service which we unfortunately found to be true. The lady who took our order and the person who dropped off our food was the only staff interaction we had at an otherwise empty restaurant. I got up to ask about water and was ignored by everyone. I finally decided to grab a cup on top of the drink machine and helped myself. Let's talk food. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and my wife got the Spicy Miso. The presentation was nice but the broth wasn't hot. In fact, it was a click shy of lukewarm. The pork belly chunks were a bit overcooked but still good. Overall, it was a decent bowl of ramen. The broth was rich in taste and was good with every bite. I just don't think the service warrants a return trip. Itadakimasu!

Yelp
Delicious ramen with many gluten free options. Good price and fun vibe. Went on a sunny day when the big doors were up. Want to go back and try more.

Yelp
I give it a 3. Service was not good! We had our dog and wanted to sit on the patio and no one wanted to turn the heaters on for us so we had to take our food to go. This place is super expensive for Ramen! We spent $60 for 2 ramens and appetizer. The Ramen was decent at best. I will pass for another visit

Yelp
This place is popular! Great music, love the ability to modify to my taste. I went with the most basic kid friendly broth base and added bean sprouts and bok choy. This was just what I needed on a cold night I will say the Ramen wasn't as Ramen like as I was hoping, more like standard noodles, and I found the broth to be a bit too salty, but nevertheless good. The wait time was quite long once I was set, but the staff were clearly working hard and they were very popular! At one point, I believe the wait for a table over. The community table seating made it easy to meet people, but the music was so loud. It was actually a bit hard to hear what another.

Yelp
Great food and big improvements with new take out system. I would often be missing items in my order or have to wait forever when ordering to pick up. My fave go to for ramen!

Yelp
Food was a 4.5 out of 5. Only reason it wasn't perfect is one dish we got was soggy and cold. I've read a couple other reviews with basically that complaint as the only negative. Ramen was by far the best I had ever had. The crispy chicken was amazing too. Service: they add a "3% Health & Wellness" charge to every bill. Is it alarming to anyone else that the customer is responsible for the employee's health and wellness? To add to this, you order up front, grab your own utensils and water, and seat yourself. The only service here is someone brings you the food. Also, at the beginning when you buy your food, the gratuity box pops up and they give you an auto populated option of 25%, 20% and 15% (or custom). Why on earth would a practically self-serve restaurant have 25% or 20%, on top of a 3% 'Health and Wellness' that goes toward whatever that means? I'd totally pay 28% gratuity if the restaurants employees earned it. Atmosphere: Super cool looking, in and out. A little tight on seating, but it wasn't an issue for the time of day we were there. The music though, LOUD! I had never done this before, but it was so loud I looked on my watch at the decibels. 82! I looked online and saw 80 is the equivalent to an alarm. Lol. Expect to speak loudly with your friends when you're here.

Yelp
Ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. Super rich, slightly tangy broth. Thick, chewy noodles. Thick, meaty chashu. Super creamy soft egg. Delicious memna. For spicy condiments, they have sriracha, spicy mayo, togarashi, and a mild, house-made "chili oil" sauce with fermented black bean. Wish they had a larger menu. Would like to try more in the way of appetizers. Will definitely be back to try the Spicy Miso and Smoked Mushroom Hazelnut Ramens. Loud music, but chill vibe. Staff were friendly enough.

Yelp
Staff were great but I could barely eat my Chicken Paitan. OMG the egg was so runny & even thinking about the runny white snot mixed in my ramen an hour later still makes me nauseous. The amount of chicken to my dish was no more than my pinkie finger & I had to pull veins & fat out of that. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. Never ever ever again. The only highlight was my amazing cider but that came in a can & I had to ask for a cup of ice because the can was warm.

Yelp
Very tasty ramen! I love the location on the edge of box factory. Great walking area if you want to go to other spots for a drinks. The music was quite loud but still able to have a conversation. Vegan ramen was very tasty and good portions. Definitely check out if you enjoy ramen.

Yelp
It started off really well, this ramen place nestled in the center of Bend, supposedly one of the foodie towns in Oregon. We felt the need for veggies and got both the cabbage salad and the cucumber salad. The cabbage salad opened our eyes! It tasted really eclectic and unlike anything we've tasted before. The cucumber salad was more regular like a side salad you'd get at any Japanese restaurants. So we had our appetite whet and were really looking for the main courses. But one after another, it just got more and more disappointing. In a sense that they just throw everything together in the bowl, instead of carefully cooking each ingredient so the food is more compatible with each other. For example, the Miyagi Don, the rice was definitely under cooked and not sushi grade rice, so you've got undercooked grains soaked in jus/broth but that didn't soften the rice, so it really wasn't pleasant. The ramen felt the same way, the noodles did not have the flavor of the soup and the pork belly were way overcooked, to the point of blackened. This is at best, fushioned-Americanized ramen.

Yelp
Ramen is decent, but Everything else is terrible. It's basically run by teenagers now. The music is loud thumping house music, and the seats are terrible. The tables were filled up dirty bowls. They couldn't bother to put the silverware into the separate containers. There was just a bin of mixed spoons, forks, etc anywhere to pick through to get your own silverware. The place was a complete disaster while the people working there stood and texted on their phones. Prices went up and they're ridiculous. Not only today try to expect a 20% tip for absolutely no service, but now they are charging a health fee, which is for their healthcare. Absurd. Bad vibes. This is a pass for me now.
google avatar

Tori Y.

Yelp
This ramen was DELICIOUS! Definitely more of a fast sit down vibe where you order at the counter and then they'll let you know when a table is available vs full restaurant service. I got their vegan mushroom ramen but subbed out the tofu for chicken - wow, chef's kiss. The fries also slapped and were served with crunchy pork belly.

Yelp
Eater listed Miyagi Ramen as one of the top restaurants in Bend. We arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday.  No line!  Ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, the Miyagi- Don rice bowl with chashu pork belly and the steamed buns. The cashier let us know we could choose two different proteins for the steamed buns. We got the chicken karaage and the chashu pork belly.   The chashu pork belly was served as crispy chunks in the Miyagi -Don Rice Bowl.  I prefer pork belly sliced and left whole(how pork belly is served in the steamed bun). Got the curry sauce with the rice bowl. The curry sauce is more like thai curry, not Japanese curry. If I try this place again,  I wouldn't get the cashier recommended curry rice bowl. The tonkotsu ramen was good but the egg was not like your typical soft egg served with ramen(which I consider just as important as the flavor of the broth). The egg was more like a poached egg. We liked the thickness of the pork and the three slices of pork. You order when you enter, find a table, then your food is delivered to you. They clear your table after you leave.   Service was quick and the food was hot. There is street parking and a parking lot available.

Yelp
We came on Tuesday nite and it was not very busy. We ordered the tonkatsu and spicy miso ramen. There were about 4 other parties. After waiting for 30 mins the first kid meal showed up and then another 5-10 for our full order to come through. The noodles was decent but the pork belly is different. Instead of normal thin slices they came in thick chunks. It was fried egg instead of soft boil. The portion is good, but it just wasn't what we expect for a ramen. If you have time to kill and enjoy a fusion ramen, this is for you.

Yelp
Maybe it was just my night. I felt the music wasn't bad, we could hear our table talk without yelling. The place was clean, the staff friendly. The person who waited on us spent the time to explain the new menu options and answer our questions. The ramen was awesome. Probably the best vegan ramen I've ever had. The broth was a smoked mushroom hazelnut. It also has roasted tomatoes, they were really good. I'm don't always eat vegan but that option really sounded good and it did not disappoint. The spicy miso was definitely spicy but not in a bad or over the top way. Will definitely return next time I am in town. Hopefully the string of less than stellar reviews will change cause we had a great experience and had great ramen.

Yelp
The food was good , the drinks were mid to me personally. But I'm pretty picky about my mixed drinks. The service was very polite and very nice. Super attentive and speedy with service. My favorite was the chicken wings , super crunchy and tasty !! . The atmosphere was pretty nice , super packed tonight but good overall

Yelp
Best American ramen I've had outside of Manhattan!! And I was treated like a queen! What'd I'd do for the broth recipe!! THANK YOU!

Yelp
"...sometimes what heart know, head forget." Mr. Miyagi Sometimes my mind can forget how much I love ramen, so thankfully "Miyagi Ramen" provided the words that my heart needed to help my mind recall how much I love ramen. You know that you're in the right place when the smell you experience while ordering transports you to a place of bliss long before your meal arrives. The anticipation is seriously powerful! While you should absolutely come here primarily for the ramen, please don't overlook the salad options. The "Cabbage Salad" featured a great combo of flavors accentuated masterfully by the wasabi almonds. When it comes to your ramen choices there are 4 primary options, but the staff was super flexible about permitting sub in/sub out alternatives, so customizing your order feels effortless. For this reason, and also because of the formal menu options, your Vegan pathways are numerous. I sampled the Spicy Miso Ramen and they exaggerated about the "spicy" designation in no manner. Spicy when it's on your tongue is one thing, but still spicy by the time it hits the back of your throat is next gen hotness. Seriously, you'll need a napkin for your mouth and some facial tissues for your runny nose! While each of us sampled a different ramen, one of our Review Team Members summed up the universality of ramen greatness perfectly when she stated, "Ramen just warms your soul." And that's...Henry's Take. #bendramen #ramenjustwarmsyoursoul

Sarah K.

Yelp
Tonkotsu ramen. Got an extra ramen egg because I love ramen eggs and both were completely runny and just broke apart with yolk all in the ramen. Broth tastes off with a weird tang. Took an hour to get the ramen and it was expensive
google avatar

Yelp
Great ramen and great vibe. Their spicy miso ramen was pretty good rich in flavor. It was great they also had a kids meal. They got the chicken kaarage ramen. Make sure to ask them to have the kaarage on the side as it was a bit soggy. Very friendly and quick service.?

Ben W.

Yelp
There's good news and bad news. Bad news first: Mr Miyagi does not work there teaching karate. Good news: The ramen and service are amazing. Bad news (again): I still don't know karate.

Less salt next time would be great . Sticking to pho it's so much better and lots of flavor. .

Yelp
When we entered this place it was empty and the music was blaring. That was fine as the employees were probably enjoying themselves. However, once we sat down it continued to be extremely loud. As a musician and lover of music, this was not how I want to eat or try to have a conversation over. About halfway through our meal the music was finally lowered. Granted, I could've asked to lower it, which I didn't, but there's more to why I only gave this place 2 stars. When we sat down, the tables and the floors were dirty. If the place was packed this would be acceptable, but like I said, it was empty. Additionally, the bench that we sat on was sticky (couldn't slide) like it was covered in a dirty film. Thirdly, the food. Some of the food was good. However, the edamame and and the kids ramen was not. The edamame came in a large bowl filled halfway (which made it look like you got a skimpy portion) and some of them were cold, others warm. The child's ramen was just meat, noodles and broth instead of a child size version of the real thing. This would be fine if it was stated like that on the menu, but I (and my kid) was under the impression it was a full ramen dish. Lastly, the menu itself was a bit confusing since it had 3 ramens to choose from at the top and then a bunch of "add ins" that were already in the 3 above. I figured it was a make your own ramen option, which it was, but it wasn't very clear or laid out well. The staff was friendly but overall, I probably would not eat here again.

Yelp
Decided to try again. Still loud music and uncomfortable seating. Prices have gone up with arbitrary health tax. Grrrrr! No service! Really bad Chashu pork in the Spicy Miso. Funny tasting chicken in the Chicken Ramen. Very dissapointing at a high price. This time not returning!!!!!
google avatar

Lloyd Z.

Yelp
I am a frequent patron of Miyagi and have had the spicy miso ramen probably near 50 times. I just visited this evening and it has changed dramatically from what was served before. The consistency and flavor of the broth is completely different and not in a good way. I will probably visit one more time to see if it was a one off issue or if that's what they are serving now instead of what they had served before. If it's the same that was served this evening, I will not be returning which sucks because this was literally one of my favorite dishes in town.
google avatar

Jared W.

Yelp
I really like Miyagi. The spicy miso ramen is extremely good. The service is decent, vibes are good, food is good....but the thing that seems to consistently be an issue is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Always feels a little grimy, like oily fingerprints on the cups and what not. Definitely recommend it for the ramen, but I hope they can clean it up a bit.

Yelp
In Bend for work and wanted to give this place a try on a cold night. Walked in and there's little to no room to wait while folks ordered before being seated. The group of 5 ordering were having a great conversation with the cashier about many things and, after 5 min, I sat down at the closest open chair. I figured I'd order when the line went down. I'm responding to emails on my phone when a gentleman asks me if I've ordered and I shared that I was waiting for the line to go down. I was sitting at a table for 6 with a group of 4 on the other side. I'm eating solo. I was told I need to wait in line to order. I decided that I'd eat elsewhere, so I can't comment on the food. But, I will suggest that the management team focus on order intake to reduce the wait time and be more understanding for those who would choose to sit rather than stand before ordering.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
When you feel like ramen, this is the place to go! Always fresh and delicious. Service is great too. I prefer eating in but they do offer takeout. Can get busy during lunch hour so you may see a line at the door.

James C.

Yelp
What happened to this place? The server/ cashier was absolutely awful. On her phone the entire time. Wearing a work out uniform and not smiling or engaging. The ramen was absolutely awful. I got the mushroom veg ramen. The tofu and mushrooms were cold! The broth was luke warm and gave me an after taste like i just ate spaghettios . You don't have a noodle choice anymore. The price went up. Which is expected. But you want the quality to go up as well. Never again will I waste money at Miyagi.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
My three positives and a negative because the world needs more positivity: + the spicy miso ramen was outstanding. I don't normally like spicy food but this was outstanding. I added a soft egg (which was a nice touch). The pork bits were scrumptious + hubby enjoyed his smoked shiitake cashew ramen. It was vegan with a rich broth + the miyagi wings had a good sweet flavor - things came out a bit sporadically. It was busy but we did get our appetizer at the end of our meal

Yelp
Ordered takeout- which was a 45 minute wait itself Got home there was no broth with the Ramen and the chicken Karrage was over fried and hard as a rock, basically hollow inside and paper dry. I drove back to get the broth, the two girls 5'4-6 brunette and blond were very rude. They offered a refund but only gave a refund on the kids ramen and not the karrage like they were supposed to. Left very disappointed at the food and service. The place wasn't even that " busy" with empty tables but all the kids working there need proper training. Will never order again

Yelp
10 out of fxckin' 10 ramen . Probably the best ramen I've eaten in the U.S. I was raised in Japan and nothing can ever compare to that but this is top tier. Definitely a different ramen restaurant experience but the perfect hole in the wall. If you don't like loud music and a new experience GTFO. Literally a meal you have to sit in the car for ten minutes after to digest and reset before continuing on your day . Staff is super nice I love what they're doing for their employees **health and wellness** We'd definitely come back :)

Yelp
It's great to go to a no reservation restaurant in Bend. The spicy miso ramen is my dish here! It's the best bowl of ramen I have ever had by far!!! The staff is young, so I give them a little leeway. The staff is why I didn't give them the last star. My apologies to the cook. The cook would get the last star!
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Who would have thought I would find one of the better ramen spot in OR in Bend!? Weren't really expecting much but all their menu items were amazing. The broths were delicious regardless of what the ramen was. The Tonkotsu ramen has a simpler but creamy broth while the Spicy Miso and Yuzu Tan Tan have more spices and kick to them. The yuzu in the Tan Tan worked surprisingly well, making the ramen very refreshing. Good portion of noodles and toppings as well. There was a line forming right after they opened so definitely go at off hours but DO go check them out!

Yelp
I can put up with completely obnoxious trendy hipster bs restaurants but your food better be worth it and at Miyagi it certainly is not. Mediocre tasting small portions of ramen that takes 30 minutes to make. I've also never seen a semi cooked gloopy slimy poached egg in ramen before. The bowls look large until you realize it's as shallow as a teacup. It was definitely a new experience leaving a ramen place hungry. Hey, let's not talk about the food or the service though. Lets talk about what Miyagi Ramen really cares about... how totally cool and trendy they are you guys omg! They have chairs that make your whole soul hurt after sitting on them for more than 5 minutes, minimalist wood pain stumps are in! Their staff is too cool and aloof for you, boomer. Music? Oh yeah we play all our favorite hits at fullest volume we can, conversations at the table are a massive L. Decor? You mean giant trash graffiti wall? We got you fam. If this place spent a quarter of the effort into the food as it put in trying to be cool it might actually be worth it.

Yelp
So simple, so old, so done well for Bend... Thanks for taking a chance on this... YELP Short Answer: Oh, yes get there. Location: Box Factory area of Old Mill in Bend. Parking can suck in peak seasons but parking and walking is pretty easy. Building and seating: Cool urban design with outdoor options year round. Menu: Limited, simple, and the way it needs to be in a Ramon hut. Food Prep: very simple, appropriate, and nice... they care, kudos to manager who is excellent. Food: Excellent broth and noodle, I am not a Ramon snob but lived in Japan for a couple of years... I like it, seems like they have done their research blending Asian and Bend... Wait Staff: Have always been very nice, quick, and efficient to let people eat but turn tables as they place gets slammed. Value: Yes, great value. Hope you visit... it is worth the wait.

I visited Miyagi right around when they first opened and was underwhelmed for sure. At the time, they had a chicken wing appetizer that was pretty tasty, but the ramen itself was under-seasoned. I finally went back last Friday with some friends, two of whom had never had ramen and one who had a similar experience to my initial experience. This time was totally different! I ordered Tonkotsu, which I ordered the 1st time so I could conduct a true comparison. This time the broth was well seasoned and had the unctuous quality I expect in a Tonkotsu broth. I added the picked shiitake and found they were a really nice addition. I was also impressed by the quality and amount of chashu they put in the ramen! The other 3 guys order the spicy miso ramen and all 3 were stoked on how good it was. I tasted the broth and was impressed. Spice level is fairly high, def not a wimpy spice. I look forward to ordering it next time. My buddy also ordered the chicken buns and said they were really good. I'm glad I came back and will be back again in the near future. A hot bowl of ramen on a cold winter day sounds pretty damn good to me!

Yelp
Quick and friendly service. On a nice day having the roll up doors is a nice touch. Tonkotsu Ramen was creamy and full of flavor. I swapped out Chasu Pork for Spicy Minced Pork. Looking forward to trying the rice bowl next.

Yelp
WOW! This place has such a fun late night ambience. It was a great date-night for my husband and I to get a bowl of Ramen on a late Thursday night. As a vegetarian Ramen places can be a little hit or miss, and it tends to be more noticeable as the absence of meat. But, Miyagi Ramen was not the case! The vegan Ramen I got was so flavorful and satisfying, it did not feel thin at all. This is the best Ramen I have personally went to, and I never thought it would be in Bend, Oregon (instead of LA, Seattle or anything). This Ramen pairs really well with the local Bend Breweries, so you can have dinner than walk to Immersion Brewing or Crux!

Yelp
We got the BUNSSSS.. y'all it's like a Asian taco vibe. They're delicious! Chicken was my choice of meet and I loved it. We also got the wings. 4 BIGGO wings for 8$ not bad at all! Great service from several employees. Super chill environment. We sat inside and moved outside for some sunshine. Don't sleep on this spot y'all

Yelp
Miyagi was my go to place but in the last year the service has absolutely tanked. The menu for take out on door dash and Uber eats isn't updated and they have a habit of "preparing your order" only to cancel it 5 minutes before closing. The food quality has taken a hit too, the broth often has some sort of burnt sediment on the bottom, the chicken karage has come over cooked and stringy in our last three orders. Hope they can get it together, it's one of the only local ramen places that offers gluten free noodles. Do better Miyagi!

Yelp
Visiting Bend has been a fun food adventure. It's only day 2 and we've discovered more great places to eat. Miyagi Ramen is a place we'll definitely return to. The menu has a variety for everyone's tastes. Our family group of six chose lots of dishes: ramen, rice bowls, steamed buns, yakitori and the cabbage salad. Everyone loved their food. The flavors are complex, but straightforward at the same time. Delicious. The only thing I would have wished for is the same quality between the same dish. My steamed chicken bun was dry, colder and "older" tasting. But my daughter had to wait an extra few minutes to receive hers and when it came, it was freshly prepared, hot and perfectly cooked. I wanted a do over for my chicken bun! We'll go again and try more menu items. The service from the cashier guy was friendly and wonderful. Great food.

Yelp
tonkotsu ramen for the win!! Love everything about this place! Staff is amazing. Love the fact that everyone can get something they like even me the vegan can get something and the rest of the family can get "normal food". My son's favorite place in the world nation wide he always says nothing is as good as miyagi tonkotsu.

Yelp
Overpriced and only one vegetarian option for a ramen bowl. Husband and I are both vegetarians, and we found it lacking on its own and needed to add other veg, sauces, and spices for flavor.
