As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the person who greeted us (older lady - maybe the manager) did not smile but looked at her watch.. then led us to our table. It was only 8:40 pm. They close at 11 pm. So I thought it was strange that she looked at the watch.. she was very "unfriendly".. the waiter was good and food was ok. I thought the menu was very confusing and not well organized. I thought it was all average.. when we were leaving, nobody really said good bye... I think they should work on being a bit more friendly. I don't think I will go back..

I accidentally found this place for dinner. It was unexpected, but they have amazing happy hours Monday to Friday from 3-7pm. The sushi rolls were flavorful and yummy, and they were offered at very affordable prices. The service was quick and the server had a great attitude. I couldn't ask for more. I'll probably go back to this place within a week.

This place is absolutely amazing for celebrating our most special occasions with our big family! The food here is unbelievably delicious. The servers are incredibly sweet and kind, going above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. And guess what? The prices are super affordable, so you can indulge in fantastic food and receive outstanding service without breaking the bank. It's a total win-win situation! Oh, and let me tell you about the weekdays happy hour. It is absolutely worth it! From 5pm to 7pm and again from 9pm, you can enjoy some incredible deals that will make your evenings even more delightful.

The food was delicious & came out very quickly. I feel like everything was priced well for the quality. The service was also really great. Our server was very attentive & sweet the entire evening. I got the ginger rice and there was a little presentation at the table where the chef mixes in the egg, I thought that was pretty neat. The only sort of downside is the parking. If you want to park directly up front, you have to pay valet. Not sure how much it was, but we parked in the back. There was plenty of space and the walk was less than a minute. Overall a great experience, will definitely go back to try other delicious options.

The art, service, presentation, and the portions are everything! They really never miss at Miyako, always a pleasant dining experience! Our server was so kind and attentive! Really some of the best Japanese food in the city and on westheimer!

My husband and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere this place has given us. We came in super late however the food was fresh and yummy. We ordered the fried calamari, edamame, chicken yaki noodles, flaming lobster maki. All were cooking well and presented nicely. We will come again earlier. Thank you

We came here to celebrate my brother‘s birthday for the first time in this place is amazing. They have everything sushi soups, regular dishes and everything is delicious. Some of the California rolls and the Pacifica were amazing. I also try the ragu and it was delicious I will be definitely coming back here, and definitely recommend it for anyone to try it. It is delicious.

Chef Marvin works fast and makes sensational seafood rolls and bowls! The service is friendly and fast! I've been coming here for over 3 decades and this is my sushi Hotspot! So fresh and delicious!!
