"Without trying too hard, this no-frills strip-mall noodle shop has a small but traditional ramen selection, with a list of sides and snacks such as gyoza and fried oysters to make it a full meal." - Gigi Sukin

Excellent food AND service!! Ordered the pork ramen, sushi, and finished strong with mango mochi ice cream! My boyfriend and I also tried their beer flight and we both really enjoyed them! If we are ever back in the area we will be coming back! 5 stars from the both of us!!

I used to go here a lot when I lived close and decided to drive the extra 30 mins away to get some for old times sake. Tried ordering over the phone which took me to their voicemail once and a hang up the second time. No biggie I was driving there anyways. Of course, with everything, the prices have skyrocketed unbelievably high. I ordered a bowl of ramen, that’s all, and a total of $28. I should have decided to go somewhere else but since I drove there I went for it. Well, I just got home and opened it up to find hair in it. Not one. But two 😕. I’m not too weird about a straggler hair as it is what it is, but the second one was under all the wet herbs so that grossed me out. Tried calling back just to give them a heads up but no one answered the phone. Anyways it isn’t the end of the world, but I’m not gonna eat it so it was such a waste of time and money. Huge bummer.

Google
Food was excellent. The steamed buns are my absolute favorite. I brought three kids with me ages 10-14 and they finished everything in front of them. Our server was also very attentive and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Ryan Moehring

Google
Such a reliable spot. I've been coming here for years and always appreciate the consistent quality of the food by this family-run business. They've had trouble getting and keeping quality front of the house staff, but the love put into the food more than earns them five stars.

Google
10/10 experience at miyako! The food was soooo good and service was wonderful. Our absolute favorite ramen spot in Englewood!!

Google
We recently dined at Miyako Ramen Spot and was thoroughly impressed with our experience. I ordered the spicy kimchi ramen and the curry ramen, along with pork belly buns as appetizers. The broth in both ramen dishes was exceptionally flavorful, showcasing a perfect balance of spices. The spicy kimchi ramen had just the right kick, while the curry ramen offered a rich, comforting depth that was hard to resist. The pork belly buns were a delightful addition, featuring tender meat and a soft bun that made for a great start to the meal. Overall, Miyako Ramen Spot delivers an authentic and satisfying ramen experience that’s definitely worth a visit!

Google
Still great! One of the best noodle shops in town. Also has a full array of sushi and Japanese fare. Update... Bowls for smaller and They have expanded the menu to encompass more Japanese standards. Less signature ramen and more selections. The build your own ramen is still there so you can scratch any itch. Everything was great again.

Google
Super delicious food, server was super nice. I got paid for taking these photos by him!

Yelp
I can't quite remember my dining experience at Miyako Ramen, which means I might have to come back. All I know is I went with my friend, and we both got a lunch special. They were VERY understaffed here, so it took awhile to place our order and get our food. I got the Spicy Miso Pork Ramen and Spicy Tuna Roll. Not very aesthetically pleasing and not bad for $19 but it's so highly rated on Yelp, I need to try again next time I visit this part of Denver. Remember to park in the SECOND lot as you drive by.

Brittany C.

Yelp
Tucked away in a unassuming strip mall, this delicious ramen spot does not disappoint! We visited for mid week lunch and service was friendly and fast. I enjoyed that you are able to order a custom ramen bowl - you pick your protein, broth, flavor, spice level, noodle type, and any add ons (don't miss the soy soft boiled egg!). The portion was huge, and the protein portion particularly was high quality meat and hearty. I left with leftovers for a second lunch! My husband got the lunch special (small ramen and 1/2 sushi roll). Thanks for the delicious meal!

Jon L.

Yelp
I feel bad that my favorite dish isn't properly Japanese. The Mabo Tofu is actually Chinese comfort-food and it's easy to spot being the only thing on the menu with three peppers. It is almost like a gravy or an étouffée but it is so flavorful, with an earthy vibe and the almost-too-hot level of heat that I love. Your tongue is surfing that fine line between wanting to stop but knowing that whatever you do you cannot stop because then it will hurt more. A lovely, visceral and tasty experience.

Parker E.

Yelp
One of the best ramen shops in Denver. The chashu and their egg is amazing - Haven't had better. Small restaurant with a big heart. Come for the ramen and stay for the sushi.

Gabe B.

Yelp
My mom and I went here today after an event. The food was excellent, and I loved that you can customize your ramen. The service and atmosphere was amazing. We felt like we were in Japan again :-) I recommend it! Will be coming back soon

Trish A.

Yelp
We decided to try something new tonight. We were impressed with Miyako Ra-men Spot. We both ate the ramen. The ramen had good flavor. I thought the broth was too spicy for me even though I ordered it spicy. Next time we go I will not order spicy broth. I looking forward to trying it not spicy next time.

Evelyn M.

Yelp
Best ramen in denver! The service is always on point and it's so cozy inside. perfect spot for date night

Anom S.

Yelp
Update: my fiancée and I actually got really sick because of this food!!!! I'm really really really upset This place BLOWS!!!! From the service, to the management to the food! The price is OUTRAGEOUS!!! $3 for mushrooms and $4.50 for an egg which you get half of!!! The chicken is AWFUL the broth is a salt lick so DO NOT get shoyu!!! The tofu is NASTY and if you get served the wrong bowl management blames it on you!!! What a freaking joke and a half! If I could give .5 stars I would! Never ever ever ever ever ever ever again! At least the place was clean!

Alexis W.

Yelp
Very cozy smaller restaurant. I got the vegetarian ramen with spicy miso base and it was one of the best I've had! Rich, flavorful broth and all the veggies tasted super fresh. Service was excellent. Me and my boyfriend shared the strawberry and red bean matcha mochi for desert it was delightful.

Danace Y.

Yelp
It's my favorite ramen spot whenever I visit Denver. It's very authentic and they have a good amount of choices. Everything I ever eaten is good and the quality is consistent every time we visit. There's also parking so you won't have to find parking.

John L.

Yelp
Ramen was too salty. Normally I like to finish the broth if the broth is average or better. I ordered the tonkatsu shoyu ramen and the broth was incredibly salty. Normally I see tonkatsu ramen or shoyu ramen. At this place, options were tonkatsu shoyu and didn't have just tonkatsu or just shoyu. You can tell just from the color of the broth that it was going to be very salty. That dark color from too much soy sauce. So I ate everything and avoided the broth as much as possible. Ended up downing 2 cups of water though because the noodle was sitting in the salty broth and inevitably salted my mouth. The flavors (aside from obvious salt) was actually really good. Wasn't my favorite noodle preparation, but got the job done and was better than instant noodles. The pork seemed to be high quality, but overcooked. The egg was ice cold! I normally like contrast of hot and cold, but this was just odd. Service was nice. Friendly staff and filled my water whenever it needed filling, which is very important when food is too salty. They serve other things, but if ramen is in their name and the broth isn't right, then my curiosity for anything else here is immediately killed. Inside looked clean and open kitchen looked clean too. Service and decor is deserving of that 2nd star.

Claudia M.

Yelp
I don't like leaving bad reviews but by far the worst ramen we have ever had. Over priced, flavorless, super tough and chewy meat.

Tasha O.

Yelp
The ramen this man makes is absolutely amazing! I've never had a ramen broth that tastes as delicious as the shoyu tonkatsu ramen at Miyako. Nothing else compares to the flavors that come together in that ramen. I hope this restaurant stays open forever!!!!!

Mickey R.

Yelp
Fantastic and friendly service with excellent food. I got the spicy miso soup. Good level of spice and tasted great. Will definitely be going back.

Brennan P.

Yelp
Just ate here and freaking loved it!!!! Thought the pork belly buns were delicious and my wife really enjoyed the special sushi role that she got. We both got ramen bowls and the server suggested I get the vegetarian ramen and add the pork. (Great call) Waters were kept full, food was delightful and servers were sincere and prompt. Can't wait to come back. Would give another star if I could cause they even changed the TV to the Nuggets playoff game! Check this spot out you'll dig it!!

Carina B.

Yelp
Got to say I really liked this small restaurant. It did fill up! The food was really good. Our waitress was so nice and took care of us and everyone else that was there that walked in after us. It's also got the vibe of a nice sushi restaurant as well!

Christopher F.

Yelp
On your mark, get set, go this is 3 minutes from my palace small inside, just the way a ramen house should be tasty egg rolls, definitely fresh buy your flipping mouff. Egg rolls taste better with the cock sauce, to each to their own, that's a tattoo. Idk. The pork is over powering the miso. was missing!!! Idk it's okay. I asked for extras, noodles, broth, corn & eggs the broth and noodles were definitely in there but the rest ‍, and no whatchamacallit . I'd definitely order something else, the pork strips was a disappointment, I might as well eat raw bacon 0__0. Oh my bad I misunderstood the ordering process. You have to add the extras including the sea weed and egg and corn. I guess that's a little standard, maybe not. Well I'm definitely going to give this another shot. Actually not, the price for just me, hell I could've & should've just went to poppies and have a steak for the price I paid for ramen.... Their pricing for adding extra is highway robbery..

Bailey C.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. The pork in the spicy pork belly ramen is akin to eating pork flavored chewing gum. The spicy miso broth left me wondering what spices they actually used. Overall, the ramen toppings were lacking and a single cold egg adds $3 to the dish (lol). I also ordered the spider roll as an appetizer, which was underwhelming and poorly rolled. Service sucked too. I ordered a soda and wasn't offered a refill until the check was dropped.

Abdallah A.

Yelp
Honestly, I went to Miyako Ra-men by accident because I was in the area and wanted to try something new, but I can say that I was positively surprised by some of the best ramen I've ever had.

K G.

Yelp
food was bland. served grey and sour pork. could hear the microwave being used for all our dishes. even the tap water tasted off. felt like the beginning of a kitchen nightmares episode.

Victoria K.

Yelp
My husband and I found this place by accident, but I will never turn down a ramen spot! We both ordered a lunch special that comes with ramen & a side dish. I choose the miso ramen with gyoza, and my husband had the tonkatsu ramen with a side of fried rice. The server was super nice and the food came out quicker than I expected. The ramen was tasty, though the noodles were a bit undercooked. I know that ramen noodles are supposed to be undercooked since they are in hot broth, but these were the most undercooked I've ever had. That being said, leaving them in the ramen for a few minutes helped, and overall, the ramen was really good, along with the gyoza. My husband enjoyed his ramen as well, though the fried rice was a bit too salty for his taste (and he likes rather salty things, so that was a surprise). Overall, while it may not be the best ramen I've ever had (in Denver or in general), it is still a good, quick place to stop into.

Tristan B.

Yelp
I love the food here, but this new takeout pricing policy has made today's visit my last. An additional $3.50 per order is absurd!

Monica P.

Yelp
I love this place, granted we've eaten at the restaurant about 4 times and have never done take out. Reading the reviews it seem like like poor reviews are from take out and honestly ordering ramen to go is setting yourself up for failure. Just don't do it. We've gotten spicy tuna hand rolls, gyoza, and ramen all of which has been delicious. Just to note this is some of the saltier ramen broth I've had, but I enjoy it. Services is slightly slower, but given how many restaurants are short staffed due to covid it's something we've dealt with across many restaurants and I never hold it against staff if they are pleasant.

Lily S.

Yelp
I feel so bad for this place... :( The way it's located in the nook of a strip mall made it easy to miss the turn to get in, then good luck trying to find your way back there. It was Saturday high noon and there was no other customer (during the course of our lunch, 2 came in but that was it). I wanted ramen so bad it took over the gut feeling to just leave. I also blame my husband for not letting me order the Shoyu based soup. We both ended up getting Salt broth, mine was the Neggi, don't remember what his was. Oh My God, where is the salt? Both bowls had no flavor and my meat tasted like day-old Char Siu. Eggs were just soft boiled, should've braised them to add some color and flavor. At the end, when I burped all I tasted was seaweed, that's pretty bad. I only finished half of my food and had to stay hungry for the rest of the afternoon :( Sorry, Miyako, it is a no for me.

Evan A.

Yelp
Ordered take out via phone from Miyako. I had high hopes with all of the good reviews so I was excited. Picked up the order and it was ready which was great. Bummer that the Ramen was not packaged separately, so by the time I got home, 10 mins later the noodles were mushy and when I got home my order was wrong. Also orders the spring rolls which were mushy on the inside and were not tasty at all. Wasn't too happy and threw half of the ramen away and one of the spring rolls.

Jude S.

Yelp
Arrived at 7:40 pm. Ordered at 7:50 pm after the server took the orders of two tables sat after us and before greeting our table. Our order of 4 ramen bowls took 45 minutes. Total time from entering the restaurant to leaving was 1 hour and 20 minutes. Server was overwhelmed with just 5 tables. When asked to make right the terrible service and our 45 minute wait we were told "we're doing the best we can." Ramen was good but not worth dealing with the terrible service.

James B.

Yelp
I finally got to go here and I took plenty of great pictures of some fantastic things. To start the place has a nice feeling to it. The water is good and the prices are more than fair for the quality you are getting. We started off with the egg rolls and the Kara chicken. They were both delicious the chicken came piping hot and super tender with some amazing sauce. The egg rolls were pretty good but I'd take the Kara chicken over the egg rolls any day! For the main course I had the shoyu Ramen with crazy spicy, corn and garlic. It was pretty crazy hot but that's what I wanted. The corn was great mixed with the spicy broth. One thing I need to really mention is the roast pork in these are real roast pork. It's some of the best roasted pork Iv had in Ramen. Over I'm impressed and happy with the meal. I will be returning for sure. Tldr great Ramen tons of broths to choose from and tons of ways to modify them.

D W.

Yelp
My wife stumbled on to this place as it's next to her hair salon and the ladies there recommended it, so she got a bunch of take out and - what a wonderful find! I don't even remember all the dishes she got but, everything was delicious, the tuna and also salmon poke, rice, sammies and miso soup, just terrific. Super fresh ingredients, like it was made to order at a sushi bar. Highly recommend.

Lauren B.

Yelp
After I got back from my trip to San Francisco I started trying every ramen place in town to try and find one as good as the ones I had there and this is definitely a competitor. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it was easy enough to order inside and get take out. Their restaurant is pretty small and there was a wait the day I was there which is why I opted to take out. The seafood ramen was very hearty and good and I felt like for the price I really got a good deal. While it didn't provide the creamy broth I was looking for, it was still very flavorful and delicious. If you don't want to drive all the way to uncle and stand in the cold, try this place. It'll get the job done!

Rory B.

Yelp
Got the tonkotsu ramen and it was ok, maybe I'm spoiled because I usually go to Uncle for my ramen fix. I would maybe give this another shot sometime

Meghan M.

Yelp
Miyako Ramen is hands down the best ramen in the area. I've been coming here for years. It is my go to. Very authentic Japanese food. Another great aspect is that the family/ owners are genuinely great people. I forgot my wallet today and didn't realize it until I walked in to pick up my food. I was annoyed with myself because it was snowing out, but they suggested that I take the food with me and let me pay by phone. I honestly couldn't believe how nice this was of them.

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
This place is super cute inside! Everything I've always gotten is good, love the miso broth and the seaweed salad

JT T.

Yelp
One of my favorite ramen joints in Denver..... No frills, not much ambiance. Just a small clean place to grab an awesome hot bowl of ramen. My favorite bowl is the spicy tan tan with garlic. Broth is delicious and is deep with flavor. Definitely can tell the broth has been simmering for hours before it is served. Very good when it's cold outside. Warms up the belly. The pork is soft, tender and flavorful. I also like the fried oysters cause I order that anytime it's on the menu. Who doesn't like fried oysters!?!? Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Overall, this place is good for a quick bowl of soul warming ramen! Quick and polite service.

Fred N.

Yelp
Good ramen. I got the shoyu ramen. The broth was tasty and the chasu was flavorful. Not your typical fatty chasu but flavorful. The egg has some work, but still good too. Overall, good ramen at a reasonable price. Parking is tight in the small lot. So good luck!

Ken E.

Yelp
I still cant tell if its self service or full service here. Walked in to see the owner(maybe not) busy behind counter, he tells me to sit where ever I want while he's shuffling. A lady brings me a cup of water while I pick the food, the owner(maybe not) turns to me and ask if I'm ready, I bring the menu to him and tell him what I wanted. Anyhow, I ordered a karaage(fried chicken) and tan tan men based on the popularity on yelp. Karaage was on point, crispy chicken and the sauce they had was great too (japanese mayo, sriracha and shichimi). I would recommend anyone who stop by the restaurant to try it out. Ramen on the other hand is a little complicated. I can see where the chef/owner is trying to go with their ramens. I've gotten used to the thick flavors of ramen broth that I forgot how the basic form (without additive) of tonkotsu broth were suppose to taste. From what I tasted and the comments about how bland the broth is, I believe miyako is trying to go for a natural taste with no additives for their noodes. The tan tan noodle I had at first felt really bland also, I believe it consist of tonkotsu with some spicy oil in it. It really depends on what you prefer. The thick flavorful ramen that has bunch of additives, or light and bland ramen with natural taste to it

Jeff T.

Yelp
I have mixed emotions about my first visit. I chose the Shio Ramen. I found this ramen really emphasizes simplicity. Pork broth had a good pork flavor, not particularly rich and just teetering in need of a little soy sauce sodium boost. Noodles had a nice chew. Shredded carrots did tend to overpower with carrot flavor. Chashu was very lean and would have benefited from a little fat for moisture. Soft boiled egg was ok but the yolk was pretty set. I really wanted the broth to be rich and thick enough to coat the noodles but that was not the case. Service was friendly. I would go A-ok for now but look forward to trying maybe the Tan Tan Ramen. Perhaps the Miso will give me the missing thick, richness I crave.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Best ramen in town. I like it way better than Uncle! I always get the Shoyu #ramen with added corn. My boyfriend loves the Tan Tan Ramen, but only if you like it hot! We also got the #Mochi. Strawberry and mango flavored. The strawberry was super fresh tasting.

Eden V.

Yelp
Best ramen I had so far in Denver. Kimchi ramen is my favorite. Very flavorful and all ingredients tasted fresh.

Judy L.

Yelp
Pro: very very clean. Service was great. Price was reasonable. Food: the ramens were pretty terrible tbh. The tan tan ramen was salty and the shio ramen just tasted like chicken broth with salt. Neither ramen had the typical ramen broth. The chashu was not soft nor tender. I didn't finish my order.

Morgan A.

Yelp
Food was delicious, vegan options were available!!! I got avocado and cucumber sushi with some vegetable fried rice. My friends got ramen which looked soo delicious!! One thing to note is that the service is meh. Not the worst service I've ever had, but definitely not the best. The servers were sweet but seemed to be very very stressed. It wasn't quite busy when we arrived, so we were a bit confused as to why the servers were short and somewhat rude with us. Maybe it was that night in particular, but it left a strong impression on myself and the group I was with. I would go back again, but the service makes me not want to go.

Michelle L.

Yelp
My parents and I wanted to eat something Asian on our trip to Denver, so we decided to check Miyako out. I disregarded the reviews that said the broth was salty because I typically have a pretty high tolerance for salty food. I shouldn't have disregarded them! Total mistake. We ordered the vegetable ramen, spicy tan tan men? (am I spelling that right?), the pork broth ramen and an order of the fried rice. Everyone's food was decent, but my spicy broth was just way too salty. Also, don't order ice with your water. I think they really needed to change their ice filter because that water was gross. I ordered the iced green tea instead to get away from that taste, and it tasted just like the water but with a tiny bit of green tea flavor mixed in.

Ruby A.

Yelp
This place has some of the best ramen I've had in Denver. I ordered the spicy kimchee ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. They have options for a salty broth, and spicy which I really enjoyed since I am not a fan of really salty broth, but do love spice! The portions are great and filling. The price matches the portion. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cant wait to go back!

Cindy L.

Yelp
The Shoyu Ramen was better than the Shio Ramen. Also, the Poke Donburi (Poke Rice Bowl) was also very tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is very attentive and fast. I'll be back to try more items on their menu.

Josh S.

Yelp
Best Ramen in Denver hands down!!!! Plust their other food is just as good. Gyoza are my go to and these are spectacular

Jessica H.

Yelp
The ramen was so good! Especially the broth! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it and will be coming back here again! If you're wanting a good ramen spot then you found it!

Dawn F.

Yelp
Really calm place to enjoy a bowl of vegetarian ramen. They have several regular bowls of ramen that look tasty and a short 3 item vegetarian menu. I think they have a few other things, but we were all trying to warm up with soup. They were so friendly, and kept pouring our green tea while we were waiting for friends to arrive. The best part of the vegetarian ramen: -Fresh egg noodles -Fresh sliced bamboo shoots -Super yummy, marinated tasting mushrooms -Yummy tofu that picked up the flavor of the broth -Not bland! Well seasoned broth that a savory food person can really get into

heather s.

Yelp
Tried it for the first time today and will definitely be our new go to ramen place! We got the spicy miso tonkotsu ramen and it was super flavorful. Some of the best broth we've tried in Denver! Will definitely be back regularly

Meagan L.

Yelp
Solid, Solid 4 stars. One of the more authentic Ramen shops I have been to yet in Denver. It was quiet the evening we went and the service was prompt and friendly. They have vegan and vegetarian options, and one of the better vegan broths I have had in Denver. They had lovely music playing and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely return!

Carlitta H.

Yelp
Will ALWAYS love this place. Tan-tan men, kimchi ramen, the fried rice, the appetizers, the staff...everything is amazing every time.

Lauren J.

Yelp
We got ramen to go, and I'm no ramen connoisseur, but it was delicious! My husband and I both got the spicy version. I'll have to go back in person and assess again. :)
